Pretty ok. Front desk could be a bit more professional and friendly. Garage was confusing. Entry door leading from the main street didn't work for guest, but worked for employees. When I asked. I was just told it doesn't work. Then place a sign stating so.

Front desk is incredibly rude. My reservation was in the system wrong, they gave me a different room than I had ordered. Desk clerk was rude on the phone and at the desk when I arrived. Super disappointed.

I enjoyed everything about our stay but since you have to park in a garage pretty far from your room I don’t think you should have to pay $10 for parking there, that should be included with your stay. I also think for being in the city center they should have pamphlets on things to do in the area as well. Other than that we enjoyed our overnite getaway from Buffalo.

Had a terrible time here. The elevator broke down with our family on it and the front desk did not want to call the firefighters. There was not cold water in the shower and I almost got burned. Thank goodness I was able to jump out quick enough. They said they did gluten free at breakfast but the cook did not know what I was talking about 😞

Great experience. Clean room and friendly staff, especially Kevin the cook and Annie the waitress. They were so kind and thoughtful to my children and yes gave them ice cream for breakfast. 🍦

We stayed the night at this hotel. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We had fun at the pool. But the best part of the whole stay was breakfast cook Kevin. He was amazing. So happy and friendly. He came out to the dining room and talked and laughed with us. Even made my daughters morning. Made them icecream sundies for breakfast. With all the negativity in the world right now. It was great to see postive.

This is a great location within walking distance of many family friendly attractions, restaurants and activities.
Wish that the lobby amenities (coffee, water, etc) were refilled so all guests could enjoy.
Also wish the bathroom had exhaust fan and heat.
Would recommend and plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay at the HGI Downtown Rochester! The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is decorated so beautifully. Will definitely stay again, highly recommend!

5th year attending the NYE bash and I'm sad to sad it was a bit disappointing this year! every year the music has been good, foods great and the staff is very pleasant and cheerful! this year the DJ didn't play any up to date music/ party jams playing all kinda of music from the last decade would have been nice, breakfast was only until 11am, we weren't told when we checked in that the breakfast was NOT included this go round so to our surprise it was an additional charge of &12.95 and the original price of the event has not gotten cheaper but now they want to charge extra $ for breakfast and you are already paying almost $400 for the event! I must say this will probably be our last year attending, it just wasn't the same sadly but maybe after this year things will change and go back to how it has been before.

We had our wedding and reception at the hotel during. All of the staff was helpful and attentive. The location was beautiful and clean. The food was amazing. Great service.

Hotel is nicely updated inside. Room was reasonably large. Free parking is a plus. Pool area was way too small to accommodate a very busy hotel when we were there. The empty building bring remodeled across the street is kind of creepy.

The entrance to the parking garage was a bit confusing, but it was worthwhile to be able to self-park. The hotel was clean. Bathrooms are small. The night shift front desk person didn't seem to know anything about the surrounding area, either. We asked her for the best way to get somewhere (that turned out to be a short drive away) and she told us to 1. Take an uber and 2. Ask our phones. We had already looked at the maps, we just wanted an opinion from an actual person. So that was a waste of time, but we didn't mind the room.

This place is very upscale. Rooms clean and big. Staff was awesome. Free breakfast. They were great when we stayed here for a week last winter.

Nice enough place. Comfortable. Right in downtown easy to get to. Use the parking garage address in your GPS 39 Stone Street. It will save you some confusion. My first room smelled awful. They moved me and comped me a night. Other wise standard room affair.

My stay at Hilton Garden In Rochester may be my favorite stay at a hotel ever. The entire hotel features beautiful design, and finding my room was a simple and straightforward experience. Every person on the start who I met was very kind and understanding, and the service was great. My room was also great. The beds, bathroom, and coffee machine we're all very high quality and VERY clean. The TV also had a Spectrum TV box, which was a welcome improvement over the usual hotel TVs I've used. I didn't get to try the food, but overall, my stay at the Hilton was very enjoyable.

Pretty nice room and hotel. The staff wasn't very helpful or friendly though. Very convenient for a wedding I attended at the convention center.

Great stay. The rooms were very clean and new. The staff is all friendly and excellent from the front desk, room service and restaurant. Parking is easy with the attached garage, free for self parking, reserved spots on the first level. Would absolutely stay here again.

A perfectly fine hotel. Everything was clean, the bed was comfy. There was a pool that we never had time to investigate and the breakfast, although $10 or 11 a person, was enjoyed. It was in a pretty good spot, with bars and resturants within walking distance. Probably a 5 or 10 minute walk to East Ave and 15 min away from the Strong Toy museum.

Incredible Hotel with outstanding service. This is unlike any other Hilton Garden in I've seen. Super clean, staff is extremely kind and fast. If I could give this a 10 star rating I would. Overall… Nothing but great here.

While my recent stay here I had become extremely ill (was not feeling to well for a few days before I arrived), the staff here were so accommodating to myself and my sister. The hotels transport gentleman was so wonderful, he drove myself and my sister to the urgent care center then picked us back up when I was done receiving my medical care. The staff went above and beyond for us. I am truly grateful for their care and compassion towards us in my time of need. Thank you again. ❤

Parking was a little tricky due to road construction. The hotel is beautiful and modern. Everything was clean. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

We visited Rochester for the Strong Museum and the hotel is close by for walking there. Really nice hotel. Rooms are nice and big and clean. All the sports channels I needed on TV which was an unexpected treat for me in the evenings. Staff are all helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Free parking. Good service, comfy beds. I had to check out a day early (well after check-out time), and fully expected to eat the cost of that night. They did not charge me for that night.

Amazing place and amazing staff. Never been treated so well at a hotel and made to feel like I was the only guest. Hotel is very clean, food was excellent and again the warmth of the staff made this a wonderful stay. I will stay there again.

Arrived 1/1/2018 after 350 mile drive very hungry. Restaurant was shut and very little choice in the food pantry for microwavable meals. When pointed out to reception there was no offer of help in finding a delivery service. Thank goodness for the Dominos App they saved me no thanks to the hotel staff.

Very clean and modern rooms. Surprisingly large rooms. Reasonable rates and friendly employees. Somehow got food delivered at 3am. Surprised but happy.

Was there for a work party. The food was good and the service excellent. The place was clean and well decorated. I was only there for a couple of hours but did enjoy my time there.

Spacious room but was not impressed by the view from the window as it just looked into other windows of the hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully done but I recommend asking for a room that faces outside if you want to look at anything.

Very quick check in was very quick and efficient same was check out. Just in and out. Room was amazing and same with staff.

Pretty standard as hotels go. Breakfast a little expensive for what it was. Our window faced in to a central area looking out on another guest window which, while a little weird was unavoidable and better than no window at all. Staff was pleasant, parking was a breeze.

Reasonably priced rooms that are large, clean, and comfortable. Had good gym and business facilities. Restaurant disappointing; unfortunately, you don't have too many options in the area.

Comfortable hotel with modern and updated amenities and furnishings. The location is convenient downtown and parking is free in the adjacent structure with validation. Staff is friendly but checkin was extremely slow. There was a couple taking a lot of time because the clerk couldn't find their reservation. Although several of us were waiting, no one thought to open a second check-in counter. The cleanliness in rooms is not to the standard I'd expect at this price point. Our room had other guests' hair stuck in the shower and one in the in room coffee maker. Very gross and indicates they are using a rag or sponge that was used to clean elsewhere in the room to wipe down the water reservoir in the Keurig machine. This is unsanitary; food and beverage equipment should be properly sanitized and not just wiped down with a used rag. I did bring my concerns to the clerk's attention when I checked out but she seemed disinterested and asked me to fill out a review online.

We stayed at a nearby hotel but ended up drinking at Drifters than walking up from our hotel for breakfast. The bar is expensive with little food options. 2 beers will run you 14 dollars. Breakfast was great way better than what the hotel we stayed at offered.

Great service! No matter the time of day or night, the staff ALWAYS speaks and asks is they can do anything for you. No matter their job title. The rooms are very clean, great bed, bathroom is AWESOME! Desk for working and free Internet. Breakfast buffet so good, fresh fruit daily. Drifters bar is a great place to sit and chat over drinks. Food is also rather delicious. Definitely looking forward to staying here again. Parking in garage next to building is validated for you as well.

Nice hotel with clean room including expected amenities. Construction around hotel made getting around by car a little difficult. Free parking in garage was very nice.

The staff here are tremendous. They try to accommodate your every need. The only downside is the entrance. It's not easy to unload and then park.

The lobby and all is beautiful. Calm peaceful. Like the business vibe. The room does look aged. It's probably the cream colored walls. I would say switch to grey and it would look contemporary.

Great downtown location. Everything was updated and nice. Hotel bar is great and they serve food there (and well as let you take drinks to your room). Half of my crew slept in and missed breakfast, which ends at 10am but thankfully Vince stepped up and got her some Fruit Loops (45 mins after breakfast ended) and saved me from a 3 year old's wrath! Highly recommended location.

Guaranteed adjoining rooms bc we were traveling with young children. Confirmed multiple times prior and day of that our reservation for adjoining rooms was guaranteed. Showed up and they had given our 2nd room away. I even booked the room an extra day to ensure we had it for the weekend. No apologies, no credit, no nothing. This place is a joke and so is their customer service. This cost me hundreds of dollars to book extra room. Had I known they expected my 2 yo to watch herself down the hall and around the corner from our room I would've never booked the reservation. Thanks for waiting until we showed up to tell me this so I could cancel, save my money and book elsewhere. Never again Hilton!

Great hotel. We were greeted with a respectful, knowledgeable and pleasant staff upon checking in. The layout and design of the hotel was remarkable. The only issue is the view we had from the penthouse on floor 6, but other than that we had a wonderful stay. Will stay again. Thanks!

My dad and I stayed overnight for the TOOL concert, at first the AC wasn't working, but the staff fixed it quickly and we went on our way. Well, coming back the AC still wasnt fixed, so at 11:30PM they managed to accommodate us to another, better room. Also they kept the bar open past hours for the concert goers, great customer service. As far as the room goes, it was handicap accessible which was nice. Bed was alright, nothing to write home about. Overall I've definitely paid more for worse hotels. I would definitely stay here again.

We drove 4 hours and got to our room. The smell of sulfur/sewer was overwhelming as soon as we opened the door. We went down to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant (spending 85 dollars) and went back to our room thinking the odor may have dissipated but it was worse. Manager came up and said he couldn't smell anything. He gave us a new room and 2 vouchers for breakfast. Too bad there are 3 of us in the room. As soon as we opened the door to the new room there was no odor. I'm a bad asthmatic and I would have had to go to the hospital if we stayed in that room.

I worked in hospitality for years and I have got to applaud and thank the front desk staff from March 4th. We had my son's friend stay over with us and when I noticed them both on electronics on Saturday early evening I made a choice. Drop the pads and tabs it's board game night. I innocently asked at the front desk hey do you have any board games by chance. They were caught a little off guard and said they had never been asked for them. I agreed no problem at all just a shot in the dark. Went back to the room and a very short time later a knock came to the door. I answered and was handed in the plastic wrap still a brand new checker set and set of dominoes. My wife and I were blown away because of the reaction the kids had, they dropped the TV remote ran to the door and asked can we play with them right now. We had such a great night and returned them to the front desk upon check out in the morning. This staff went above and beyond and the kids already asked when can we stay again.

Friendly service, convent location, decent rooms. The only drawback is that the rooms don't have as good of a view as other hotels downtown.

Located downtown, this hotel has amazing architecture. They used materials from the original building to recreate a classic but contemporary warm feel. I highly recommend the accommodations. The food is great as well.

Nice hotel with a great new clean feel… better yet the front desk and especially our server for breakfast "Annie" we all so friendly and nice. We enjoyed our stay with our children very much. Kids loved the pool and the room was plenty big enough for the 4 of us. We will definitely stay again when we go to blue cross arena for an event the walk to dinosaur BBQ was 2 min and maybe 5 min to the arena.

I went to the Drifters LB Restaurant inside the Inn. The food was delicious and the service was good as well. I would recommend for people to try the restaurant out.

My stay was good. It'stoo bad that breakfast was not included, but that's okay. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was good and the bartender was fun.

Very nice, clean, contemporary. Very impressed with the lobby area and hotel. Newly redesigned and it looks very nice and modern with a touch of contemporary downtown flare. The rooms were decently sized, clean and comfortable. The am breakfast was very good to.

Well run and immaculate hotel. We had a room that overlooked the "courtyard" and was nice a quiet. Only downside is that there is no hot tub in the pool area.
