It is such a cute place, and the service is amazing. The breakfast was the highlight. So much more than expected.

The house is gorgeous, beautifully designed and super well kept. Milena is awesome and caring and super nice. Totally the place I would go back to I'm Rochester.

Quaint without seeming outdated. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Very comfortable, we'll run. Convenient to Eastman Museum and the Memorial Art Gallery.

Spacious and comfy rooms. Shashi the inn keeper went above and beyond for us!

We had a marvelous time at Dartmouth House. The staff was attentive, flexible, polite, and provided the most exquisite meals for our group. The only negative is lack of accessibility for those with mobility impairments. There are no main floor guest rooms and no elevators or ramps. However, the expansive stair case does have a very large landing with a sitting area where a person can rest while making the trek up or down the stairs. The owner was extremely good to work with us both before and after our visit as we made plans and wrapped up loose ends from our large gathering that rented out the entire house for a wedding weekend. Other than the handicap accessibility matter, I would highly recommend this elegant and stately B & B.

It was a real treat to stay at Dartmouth House. Everything was impeccable and of the highest quality and every guest amenity taken into consideration. Breakfast was a stunning, mouthwatering, French influenced gourmet meal which started our day off to tour the beautiful surrounding area. Dartmouth House is within walking distance of great cafes, restaurants and beautifully preserved mansions. The hosts were really helpful answering all our questions. I'd definitely like to go back.

We've been made to feel so welcome, a home away from home. Appreciate the friendly folks here and lots of little things to make our stay so comfortable. We are very pleased we chose to stay here.

My husband booked it for an overnight, for my holiday party in Rochester… I have to say this place was amazing! From our first arrival, to our delightful room, and morning breakfast was to die for! Both the chef and waiter staff were a pleasure! Very personal. Definitely would stay again! Oh and I slept like a baby in their comfy beds!

Hands down awesome. Everything included, the rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, breakfast is tasty, and service was always prompt/friendly.

Stayed in the Seneca room and it was great. Claw foot tub, huge walk in shower and private balcony. Piped in white noise might help with a little noise from other rooms.

Rented the place for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. Tons of rooms, nice staff, great food.

What a fantastic b&b. The location was perfect, the room was terrific! The bed was soft and luxurious, a number of wonderful pillows and the sheets were lovely. The bathroom (I stayed in Seneca) was amazing… a claw footed tub and a huge shower. The floors were beautiful, as was all the period-authentic furniture. The breakfast… WOW. The breakfast! Five courses, fruit, bread, salmon, a crepe and steaming hot coffee in the fancy dining room was a perfect way to start the day. The main spaces were beautiful and welcoming. The private spaces were perfect. (The host was wonderful as well) If I ever make it to Rochester again, I'll absolutely stay here again!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for our Valentine's getaway and loved every minute of it! Mary was very attentive and sweet, and the owner is very friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Dartmouth House Friday night 2/5/2016. We were greeted with a smile by Inn Keeper Mary. Mary made sure that every one of our possible needs was addressed. The Dartmouth House is a renovation of an amazing 1905 treasure. The Inn is very spacious as our the rooms. All rooms furnished nicely and with attention to detail. The bathrooms are all brand new with modern amenities. The Dartmouth House was a great find for sure and we already booked to go bac…k in March. We attended a concert at Blue Cross Arena which was a 5-7 minute drive away. Thank you Mary for the great hospitality.
