Nice hotel, good location and friendly staff. Bathroom is a little outdated but not bad. A lot better than the last time I stayed at a super 8.

Clean, budget hotel. No fancy amenities but the room was fine and the hotel is in a good location. Breakfast is included, but the breakfast room was small and a bit chaotic.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Though it is pretty standard as far as the rooms go, there is a nice wood floor, the most comfortable hotel bed that I have ever slept in, very clean and attractive rooms, the artwork all depicts the beautiful sights in the area, and absolutely phenomenal staff! My mom had a hard time getting around and took a nasty spill. The staff were very courteous and helpful and treated her with dignity. They kept following up to check on her and see if we needed anything. They could not have been more accommodating. Plus the location is great, just a few minutes from shopping, restaurants, lake Cayuga, and everything Ithaca. Five stars is not enough!

I've stayed here on business numerous times and have never had a problem. Good basic hotel accommodations and a nice staff.

The bathroom had a bottle opener in it. You know for all those times you sitting on the toilet and need to open a beer.

Great night stay! This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Ithaca College. Great location, quite, comfy and across the street from Wegmans! Will always recommend to anyone travelling to Ithaca.

Room and bathroom are clean. Convenient location (5 min drive/20 min walk to downtown), easy check-in. Fridge and TV in room. Good price; slightly cheaper motels/hotels had consistently mixed results about cleanliness and unfriendly staff. I’ll glad we paid a whopping $15 more for a room we feel at ease in.

Small beds that I used when I was a small child. Small ice buckets. No practical outlet places actually only one non used already outlet in the whole room. Fine breakfast not a lot of variety and not spacious at all. Would never come again.

Much higher than 2 star expectations. Generally, Super 8 is at best so-so. However, this one turned out quite well for a two-star spot. The staff is excellent, helpful, and pleasant. The rooms have been updated and are clean. The location works well for getting around in Ithaca — perfect spot for the Wizarding Weekend. No, do not expect luxury, but it is comfortable and clean. We did not try the breakfast because many eateries are quite near. We would do another short stay here.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the hotel art wasn't as terrible as it usually is (an Ithaca waterfall, of course). But definitely bring earplugs. There isn't anything completely over-the-top, like trains going by next to your window, but there's more ambient nose than average, especially since the non-carpeted floors mean you'll hear it every time someone moves a chair in the room above you. Still, as hotel problems go, this one is easily solved, and everything was fine otherwise.

Everything was great. Was a busy night and the bartender kept up and was genuinely caring.

Hotel old-fashioned, not the most clean. Won't I made coffee machine coffee in … breakfast really boring. Looks more like youth hostel. Not worth the price.

My mother and I have stayed at this hotel twice. Our first experience was relatively good, especially considering their rates relative to the other hotels in the area. Nevertheless, our second experience took the cake and not in a good way. On the second day of our second stay we returned to a partially and carelessly cleaned room (room 124 to be exact), among which we found: 1) An entirely unmade bed: Housekeeping left a note informing us that the bed in question was not made because we left a bag resting on the comforter, which is admittedly understandable. Nevertheless, at no point during our stay were we informed of this "bag-on-the-bed" policy. We've stayed in hotels with such policies before, and on those occasions, we were notified of this rule at check-in and often in writing as well. Furthermore, the bag in question was completely empty and laid ajar, such that this fact should have been evident. What was most infuriating, however, was that no attempt was made to tidy this area of the room, especially considering how little effort was put into cleaning the rest of the space, as I elaborate on below. 2) A poorly made bed: While housekeeping made up the other bed, it must have taken him/her at most 30 seconds to do so. The comforter was crooked and the pillows were slovenly stacked by the headboard. I've seen children late for the bus make their beds with more gusto than whoever did this bed (even though it was the only one they made! ).

Very nice place. The one fly in the ointment was that, the house keeper didn't leave us enough towels and wash cloths. We went to the front desk and we got what we needed. Problem solved. Good place.

Comfortable, clean room. Big fridges and modern microwaves (unlike some hotels) Great morning breakfast with many options. The locations is great for those who like smaller cities and views. Very nice staff.

The location is perfectly between Cornell and Ithaca College which makes it perfect for a person like me who has a brother attending each college. The rooms are clean and cozy; the only problem for me is that there is no open outlet close to the bed for charging a phone. The breakfast is pretty good although most of the food seems frozen and then reheated. All in all a solid hotel.

Located convenient for me to commute to the Cornell University. Restaurant, and many other businesses are also very close to hotel. Staffs are wonderful, very helpful. Great experience every single visit. I already visited 3 times this year. At least I have 2 more visit (reservations) for remainder of the year.

Good cost effective option. Location next to Wegmans is nice for quick food options.
