So, I immediately had buyers remorse after booking a room here through a random Hotwire deal where one is not sure which of three hotels shown is the deal until after check out. Once I saw my deal was the Meadow Court and I read some reviews I was expecting The Hills Have Eyes! Don't get me wrong, it is by no means anything fancy; however, check in was fast and professional. The room is… adequate. No major red flags or alarms. The environment is quiet which may be luck. The mattress is a bouncy old coil one and the sink drains REALLY slow, but… no monsters under the bed or half eaten hot dogs and used condoms like others have mentioned. I checked.

Nice hotel for a quick stay. Place is clean but is quite old. Tv is very old and nostalgic. But a good place for a quick stay in a very nice town. There is a restaurant next door. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Complimentary Breakfast is simple with bread and coffee. There are lots of restaurants near by.

The shower is really strong and good after a long tiring day or if you need a break. Breakfast included.

It honestly could’ve been a heck of a lot worse given the price. We stayed in one of the “newer” rooms and it was much larger and much more hospitable than we’d been expecting given some of the reviews here. If you’re planning on getting takeout, though, heed this warning: the trash cans are small.

Horrific. Dirty beds, sub-par decor, no towels, rude staff, and a broken TV. Would NOT recommend. The photos are not a true testament to what you are getting at all and the area this is located in is a little sketchy.

We have always had a good room and service. Karen always takes care of booking our rooms for us. They also, accomadate our large group in the restaurant with good food (osso bucco! ).

Excellent food and service! Never a bad meal in all my years of dining there.

Best value lodging in Ithaca. Very close to downtown and the new rooms are worth the modest upgrade fee.

The hotel was very reasonably priced. We stayed here because it was cheap and within walking distance to the Ithaca state theater. There was a blood stain on the comforter and there was nobody at the desk when we tried to check in and out.

I had a clean, basic room. Two beds, everything worked, bathroom was nice. It's a short walk to the Commons. Would use again.

The food was really excellent, as was the service. The atmosphere is small-town crafty. The location is less than ideal, on a highway out of town, but it's not far from the nightlife of western Ithaca.

The motel was okay. Not perfection but it served it's purpose. If you want to get the better rooms, don't book on a 3rd party website. Call the motel to book the room.

It's simple but very clean and comfortable, plus it's close to everything, the city, shopping malls and rides. I am very pleased with the hotel.

I normally do not post bad things about places however I brought home bed bugs from this hotel on a work trip a couple months ago, my co workers said that they couldn't have come from here but last night they too found a bedbug in their room caught it and gave it to manager. They still didn't want to do anything about the problem please beware!

I've stayed in budget hotels that were nicer. We did get a fridge at no charge though. Wallpaper was peeling from the walls, water leaked into the bathroom whenever the shower was being used in the room above. That would explain why the top of the toilet and the mirror was so dirty. The bed spread and sheets were stained and there was red stuff (ketchup? ) on the table lamp and wall. I don't expect much but I do expect a little more for a room that costs $145 per night.

Was not thrilled about sharing my room with another gentleman. However he slept in the bath tub and was gentle with his night groping. Bed bugs made very little noise.

Nice size room. TV is very dated. Not much charm. Very basic motel.

Property smells like there is something dead and rotting. The front desk staff is unprofessional. The key card took an average of 10 attempts to unlock the room door. The bathroom floor tiles were cracked and the tub was not properly cleaned. Rust in the tub from old age. The carpets are old and musty. Ceiling insulation is poor and can hear people walking above. Garbage was full and overflowing in public areas, possibly the source of the horrid smells. This was referred to as the "deluxe suite" — — I'd hate to see a downgraded standard room. We didn't bother to eat breakfast here. I'm glad we only booked for 1 night.

I booked this through Expedia because it was close to my sister who I was visiting because she's sick. The first room was extremely small, had no fridge and smelled awful. We opened the window to air it out and began choking on the smoke from others smoking outside their rooms since it's all no smoking. I called Expedia to change hotels & they called this place to get permission. Instead they offered me another room. I went to the front desk & the gentlemen offered me two different rooms. He also got quite snippy that I called Expedia first instead of just speaking with him. We wound up taking the other room at no additional cost which I appreciated but it smelled too. I sprayed some air freshener and we just dealt with it. At night my sister, who uses an oxygen tank, walked out in the hall (which was a very short distance) to get ice. The ice machine didn't work. The next morning we went to get our "free" continental breakfast. I'm not sure what they consider continental but it was a variety of Thomas' bagels in bags thrown in a bowl, butter, jelly & let's not forget the MOLDY cream cheese. There was also coffee, tea, cream (no milk), sugar (no sweetener for people who can't have sugar), and orange juice (which was thick like frozen & mixed with water). There was also yogurt but only two flavors (blueberry or raspberry). It was set up on what looked like dressers and it was the worst experience I ever had.

I stayed her for one night and although the amenities are ok the cleaning staff is not to be trusted. I was leaving and I had my hands full and forgot to pickup my Rayban sunglasses off the table. I got home and double checked my luggage to ensure I didn't put them in a bag last minute. They weren't there. I called the motel and they said they didn't find them. I expressed my disappointment and they said they would have someone call back the next day. No one called back and my glasses are gone. Also, they had no Internet in the rooms and told me upon check in after I had booked with Orbitz even though it was advertised that they would have Wi-Fi in the rooms.

We came to stay in this hotel for 1 night and we had a very bad experience. The bed had a cigarette but in it even though we were staying in a non-smoking room. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, when the website clearly said that there was free Wi-Fi. There were also cockroaches in the beds. When we mentioned all these things to the receptionist, she clearly did not care. This is a horrible hotel. Do not stay here.

Don't be put off by the smoke smell in the lobby; the rooms are clean, if a bit dingy. Wi-fi, while abysmal in the rooms, is OK outside them — — the walls block it, so sit outside on the porch to use the internet. The bathroom is functional although the shower head seems kind of sad and dribbly. This was the last room we could find at the last minute for less than $150 a night on a busy summer weekend, and as such it seems just fine. Nothing awesome, but not a disaster. When we came in, though, there were a bunch of 20-somethings shouting about hairballs and heroin needles in the lobby before storming out. Dunno what that was about; people seem kind of high-strung around here. Anyhow, the other reviews are kind of hyperbolic. It's OK. Could use a little maintenance for the price, but I gather staying in Ithaca is just expensive.

After seeing some nasty reviews I had to add my two cents. Older place but neat, tidy and very clean, bed was comfortable. Everything worked fine and the rooms were well maintained. Staff were friendly, funny and welcoming. Great value for what I paid. I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone on a budget. Free Wi-Fi was weak but worked. Free coffee in the room. Easy to find too.
