La Tourelle is my home away from home, so naturally I chose to hold my wedding here after 12 years of lovely stays. All of the staff worked together to create a wonderful day for my husband and I, but I could not have made it through the day without Christina. From every detail big and small, she made sure the day went off without a hitch. I can’t think of a better place to host your wedding. On top of that, the tower suite was INCREDIBLE. A one-of-a-kind experience for a perfect wedding night. Thank you again to Scott and his amazing family and staff for making the day and stay perfect!

We’ve been here for about five hours and are in love with this place. Very quaint, amazing staff, awesome backyard area with fire pits. Such a great place, highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Lisa at the front desk is amazing.

Outstanding place to stay great people that work there willing to help everyone they can help in anyway they can help I love this place I used to work here during the summers but it’s a great place to stay and an awesome people that owned it.

It was a lovely hotel perfect for a romantic getaway or for family they also have camping there it’s close to the commons and other things in Ithaca also the staff is very friendly.

My husband and I spent two nights at La Tourelle. We brought our golden retriever also. The rooms were very clean, large and had comfortable beds. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time.

BEAUTIFUL! My husband and I just had one of the best weekends of our 20+ year marriage. The room was beautiful. And VERY clean! The concierge was helpful and friendly. Suggested great places to eat and watch the game.

We did a couples massage at the spa one morning and it was fantastic as well.
We can not wait to go back. Hopefully in a couple months!

My best friend and I spent the night here for a girls weekend. We took advantage of the spa and had massages. This place is absolutely beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and very informative. We ordered room service for breakfast and it was AMAZING!

Breakfast is delicious. The staff is extremely so friendly. Rooms are nice, definitely get a balcony room well worth it. Will defiantly be coming back!

A very lovely establishment nestled a sort distance from the town ofIthaca. Extremely quiet with fabulous rooms. Staff is extremely friendly and offer great insight to the amenities of this great locale. The August Moon Spa offers top notch massages.

The place is nice. Service was good… however it is looking old. Needs a spruce up.

We travel to Canada a lot from PA and this is our happy stop on the way. Pet friendly (we have two large dogs) and the amenities are fabulous, great food on site. Everyone is so welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area and the grounds are beautiful. The SPA, August Moon is a real treat.
The gardens are not just for show, herbs, etc are used in SPA products and local businesses are showcased (try Emmys cookies). Plus they have boxed water! Not plastic bottles! Happy hour is another bonus. Love La Tourelle.

The accommodations are remarkable and very comfortable the staff is knowledgeable and very accommodating. When staying at la tourelle. You must must use the spa. I would highly recommend Rebekah for a therapeutic massage. The tranquility room in the spa was phenomenal so was the steam and the sauna.
A complementary wine tasting wine hour each evening is a wonderful way to meet other guests!

Wow… Is the only word to describe this amazing gem in the Finger Lakes. We did the relax and rejuvenate package and worth every penny. At night they did a wine and cheese hour that was complementary and at night a bomb fire that offers drinks and homemade smores… Yummy! Breakfast was all farm fresh ingredients… I had the oat crusted french toast with local made grape juice… amazing! They also offer a trail on site to Buttermilk Falls and pick you up at the end of the trail. Again WOW! Thank you so much for everything!

Beautiful, affordable, romantic getaway for 2. Family owned and operated. The rooms are clean and updated, the bar is in the lobby with a free wine tasting hour from local vineyards. Breakfast is in the building serving food from local farmers. The spa is wonderful with an excellent atmosphere. The on site steakhouse although quite expensive was accommodating to my Vegan diet creating a pasta dish with wild mushrooms that tasted amazing. They have a trail leading to buttermilk falls as well. This is a must visit for couples looking to get away.

We have used La Tourelle as our home base when in Ithaca. It was the obvious choice for us to stay for our daughters wedding. We rented the Barn suite. It was a wonderful flexible space for us and perfect for wedding day prep! The owner and staff were outstanding. They took great care with us. They checked in often yet gave us our space so we were relaxed as though we were home. It was great to have our own place so close to where all our out other friends and relatives stayed. I highly recommend LaTourelle.

Sort of rustic European feel to this hotel. I thought it was going to be kind of dated and stuffy but I loved it. Loved that there was no carpet and instead what seemed like laminate flooring looking like wood. Such felt so much cleaner. Room and bathroom were clean (and I have very high standards), and the beds were so comfortable. Mattresses were on the softer side which I loved. Nice property and I really have no complaints. Oh, and breakfast was very tasty.

Quaint and charming European-style country inn nestled among Ithaca's gorges. Complete with a spa, steakhouse, bistro and lobby bar, you're all set to relax. Property connects to the Buttermilk falls hiking trail so no need to leave and pay to park at the Park site. The hotel will pick you up at the bottom of the falls if you're too tired to hike back. They also have "Glamping" (glam camping) sites out back. A very enjoyable stay, especially after a day meandering through Seneca and Cayuga lakes wine country!

We stayed there overnight recently in a dog friendly King room. Lovely room, grounds, staff, and breakfast! We don’t try the spa but will when we go back again! Close to Ithaca downtown and Cayuga wineries. Highly recommended.

Our stay was great, very pleased with the courtious and helpful staff. The food was excellent. Our room was exceptional, clean, quiet and larger than most. There is a choice of many different types of rooms to choose from. The grounds are well manicured with several ponds with waterfalls or fountains. We will most definitely return.

Recently spent two wonderful days at La Tourelle. This boutique hotel in the hills above Ithaca, NY has the feel of a French country inn with large comfortable rooms, attentive staff, beautiful grounds and gardens. The Bistro located in the main hotel offers breakfast and lunch prepared by a Culinary Institute executive chef. The John Thomas Steakhouse located in the old farmhouse is world class. Complimentary wine tastings offered nightly in the cozy lobby bar feature local wines. La Tourelle is a great place for a romantic getaway or just to recharge your soul and enjoy the best that the Finger Lakes region has to offer.

Booked 1 night for a getaway, and had to stay a second, Had it not been for work, would have stayed another. The staff (family) was amazing, heartfelt, the grounds are beautiful, peaceful, serene. The room, and bed was so quiet, peaceful, I feel as though I've had a week vacation in 2 days. Also location is perfect, minutes from everything, I will personally be back, and I miss it already.

An awesome hotel — Charming and nice. A great pillar of the local community, too, supporting or hosting lots of stuff. The bar is stocked with terrific local beer, wine, cider, and booze. Out in the hills, some nice hiking trails connect right up to the property.

I feel that you will find professionalism at it's best, in the Ithaca area, not only by all the staff at La Tourelle, but also The Bistro, and the John Thomas Steakhouse. My spouse and I have spent birthdays, anniversaries, and New Year's here for the past seventeen years, and the staff and the professional ism never wains.

My husband and I both got massages. We got there early to enjoy the amenities in the locker rooms. The sauna in the men's locker room was not working at first was later fixed. The lotion was out in the ladies and was not filled when I returned after my massage. The tranquility room had a lot if dirty dishes that needed to be cleared.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a fireplace room with a jetted tub and it was so nice. It was simple checking in and checking out. The coin machine on the second floor attached to the really cool vending machine doesn't work properly and did eat one of our dollars so just be aware of that if you're in need of coins. Besides that everything was just wonderful. We loved everything about our stay and wish we could've stayed longer! The giant chess board is so neat!

Exactly one month ago my wife and I tied the knot and had our reception at La Tourelle. We could not have asked for a better reception. The staff were beyond wonderful and took great care of us and our guests the entire night. The food was phenomenal. I wish I could have enjoyed more of it but that seems to be how weddings work. (Bride and Groom really don't eat much) If we had to go back and relive our wedding day we wouldn't change a thing about our reception. Thank you La Tourelle for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

This place is amazing! I cant wait to come back for another girls trip! The staff were friendly and made you feel so welcome. The food at the bistro was excellent. The spa and the services I had were so relaxing. The rooms were spacious and clean… The best sleep I have had in a while. The location is very serene. I cant wait to come back! The town itself was very quaint.

One of my favorite places to stay whenever in Ithaca. A unique hotel with an incredible restaurant and spa. You can even go Glamping (Glamour Camping) here if that is your thing. Be certain to check it out the next time you visit Ithaca College or Cornell.

My wife an I hadn't had a vacation in 4 years. We chose this place. Everything was wonderful. Had a great massage. Our last night we joined the wine tasting at the lobby bar. Got to me mingle with part of the staff and the gentleman at the bar was great. He made us feel like been belonged there. We will definitely be back. If you don't rate this place a 5 out of 5 your crazy.

Very nice place to stay when visiting Ithaca. Clean, comfortable and the staff are very nice. Onsite bistro is good and the steakhouse rocks.

I went to the spa for the cleansing package. The algae wrap felt very relaxing and I liked the six nozzle waterfall shower! I would definitely go again.

This is the most beautiful and relaxing atmosphere ever. The family that own the place run it and upon entering you feel like and are treated like a friend. The grounds are stunning. The food amazing. There is a walk from the grounds down to buttermilk falls where you can if you wish call the hotel for a lift back. Our room is spacious, comfortable and very clean. Will be sorry to leave. Didn't have the time to use the Spa facilities, maybe next time.

My husband and I checked in here last night for a midweek getaway. This place is lovely the service is excellent. We had a nice breakfast in the bistro restaurant here the staff is fantastic. We had a wonderful massage last night and we will return again. The comfiest beds I've ever slept in!

La Tourelle is a beautiful Inn with 35 rooms. It is classy, sweet and welcoming. The staff was very kind, respectful and informative. It is near Ithaca College, Restaurant Row and a long strip of vineyards as well as an impressive waterfall. The room we stayed in was adorable with super comfy mattresses and pillows. Everything was spotless. It happens to be, as per Cal, one of the last rooms which has not been updated, I hope they never update it and keep the "1986 French Country Style" it is currently decorated in! So cute! I'd definitely recommend this Inn. We hope to come back and enjoy the spa, restaurant and bistro as well. Thank you!

Very high end place to stay in Ithaca with wonderful food and service. The location is private and scenic. It's pricey, but worth it.

My best friend and I had a one night getaway and stayed in executive suite 160, St. Tropez room. The room was really beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable, the dual head shower was great. The front desk assisted us with getting a taxi. Our package included breakfast in the Bistro, which was pleasant although the tea water was not hot enough. We also each had a wonderful spa treatment. It was an excellent mini-vacation.

La Tourelle was exactly what we needed. Super relaxing, amazing staff, and great food. There is a happy hour 5-6pm with free wine from wineries in the area. John Thomas Steakhouse is just a 20 second walk (even in the freezing winter) and the food was UNREAL! Despite the insanely rude family that was loud and obnoxious, the staff of the restaurant were super courteous. We also got massages at August Moon Spa, which if you're debating to do that or not, DO IT! It's like going away on a fancy vacation and you come out unbelievably relaxed afterward. This place has definitely earned all 5 stars and then some! We will be back for the camping (glamping) for sure! Thanks again :-)

A very cozy hotel with big rooms. They always have fresh chocolate chip cookies and coffee in the lobby. A lovely place to stay. A bit far away from town, so you'll need your car, but otherwise it's superb. Very nice grounds too (with a pond! )

We really enjoyed our stay at La Tourelle over the holiday season. My travel plans are always based upon how Pet Friendly a Hotel or Resort is, and La Tourelle gets my vote. I was especially pleased that their pet friendly rooms have decks with easy outside access to walk your fur baby. My dog thoroughly enjoyed running through the grounds and taking in all of the new smells. They even include pet friendly activities in their brochure! Love it! For the adults, enjoy their complimentary happy hour and their farm to table Bistro! Also located a quick drive to downtown, it's a great choice on your next visit to Ithaca!
