Nice place to be. Rooms are great. Accommodation are minimal. I expected more from this hotel but felt more like a peasant and an inconvenience. Didn’t realize I’d pay hundreds for a night and still have to pay for bfast…. Cheaper ain’t better but pricey ain’t worth it. Sorry not sorry.

Wish I could give 0 stars. This place is the worst. We went with our hockey team which gives business to this hotel annually for tournaments. They used to have a policy that kids can’t be in the halls after 10pm without a parent. Which I totally get. Me and 3 other parents were standing right outside of our door talking. The security guard came up and told us we need to get in our rooms. I said you mean the kids need to get inside. He said “ no, you all do. ” No one is allowed in the hall after 10pm. I could see if we were being loud, but we were literally talking. The next day around 4:30pm a couple of us were standing waiting to leave for our hockey game. The same security guard came up and said he was hit by a ball and we said it wasn’t our kids they were in our rooms getting ready. He said he doesn’t care and that we need to get in our rooms. He was on a power trip. My husband said “ it wasn’t our kids and we aren’t going in our room that we have to leave. The guard said he will be calling the cops on us and he did. The manager took our side at first and said she will tell the guard to go home. When we got back to hotel the cops were there again and said we had to leave for open containers. We had a water and showed them. Plus this place was dirtier then I remember. Guess I should have started even earlier in our visit. When we tried to check in we were told their Wi-Fi was down and we can’t check in until it is back up.

We had family staying from out of town and they had COCKROACHES in their room/on the ceiling! Completely disgusting! They also were not given a refund or some some of discount. There are plenty of better & cleaner places to stay at. Do not waste your money here!

Our room was dirty (lint all over the floor, dirty socks, bed was not crisp and neat). No garbage bags in the garbage cans. The refrigerator needed to be turned on every two hours to work, and barely kept anything cold. Not enough towels or wash cloths for the three of us. It was not worth the amount of money we paid and we would not recommend this place to anyone. When we told the front desk our concerns, nothing was done, except to give us new towels and handed us two garbage bags. The socks were kicked out into the hallway when we arrived on Friday and they were still there when we checked out on Sunday.

Best of the Best. Trish and her team, organized a huge fundraising event for our Ukranian refugees. They are the absolute best, hands down. Two fire alarms in middle of the night, one hour apart… fire system works so well, the did it twice…

Lady at the front desk who claimed to be the hotel manager is quite rude. She spent a significant amount of time complaining that she is the only one working in the hotel. Guests don’t really need to be brought into disgruntled employee business. I definitely recommend staying at a Marriott down the street, much nicer staff that is happy to work there.

Amazing place… its clean… smells amazing… staff are 100%… pool is the best we have been at this year.

Great people that are helpful and always a smile on their faces. Had a problem with toilet when checking in. Was clogged but they fixed the problem. Sadly rooms don't get cleaned when you are here and you has ask for fresh towels every day. Food and bar is nice.

The money we paid was not worth it at all it are honey moon. When we Email it said pool was open that was the main idea of are trip honey moon. The room had no hand towels no wash clothes the coffee pot was very nasty. Top it off no little make up merrier that was shown in picture in the room. The TV had prints on it the window ewww the fridge had a smell the food was enough for my 3 year old daughter to eat. I’m very not happy this messed my honey moon up. We just got married to deal with this never again the front desk was getto rude.

My sheets were dirty, when I asked for clean sheets someone showed up and handed me sheets at the door. Two other rooms within our party were dirty as well, one of which found a bed bug in their room. When I spoke to the fro t desk, they tried to give me a voucher for a free breakfast. They were then annoyed that I asked for garbage liners for our luggage. I will never stay here again.

Had a mishap with a flight that got cancelled due to bad weather, the airport gave us a voucher for this hotel the people here were absolutely amazing and understanding as to what we had gone through for the day, they were very kind and accepting and it was a wonderful stay, very friendly staff!

Very clean, very modern, customer service oriented staff. The staff is super friendly, super professional, super efficient. The room was very clean, very well maintained and smelled clean. Not a speck of dust in sight! :) I will definitely stay at a Doubletree Hotel again. Well done!

We attended this year's **Holiday Ball** for the first time ever & it was AWESOME! Incredible staff pulled off this dinner event for almost 400 people… spectacular & lots of FUN!

It was great staying! The best sleep I have had in a long time. The food is excellent! Everyone is so nice I stayed from Thursday to Sunday! I would recommend it to my friends! Room 213

Employee Jennifer Lawrence is ripping people off by posting items for sale at an incredibly low price and accepting money as a deposit then blocking the person. I can only imagine what she is doing to the hotels customers.

Hotel is very nice and rooms are clean but 2 double beds doesn’t fit 4 people very well especially 2 adults way too small! We were here for a hockey tournament and the kids can’t do very much to occupy them complaining about kids playing mini sticks and making noise in the hallways they should have one floor booked off for hockey families to keep the noise to one floor and not scatter them all over … were told can’t have adults hang out in one room because over capacity so they told us to go downstairs in the common areas once we got down there were told we had to go in a room and once got to the room was pretty much full of people already so there’s no rooms for us not very accommodating for hockey families because you can’t keep the kids locked in the rooms all day they should allow groups of hockey to be able to access separate rooms to accommodate their teams so people don’t complain… also you can’t even go on your balcony with 2 adults and talk past 10 o’clock kind of ridiculous if you ask me they told us if we didn’t go inside they would call the cops and cops were called very disappointed would not recommend it for hockey families!

I attended a event this week and had their chicken, couscous and broccoli rabe. All was good but the broccoli was a bit too tough. I was told this is how it was supposed to be but most of the event goers left a little tree in their plate as it was just too hard on the teeth. I get el dentae but not at the expense of seeing my dentist!

There were issues with checking in, which were completely my fault, but the staff was so accommodating and friendly. I slept very deeply all 3 nights because the beds and comforters are super cozy and I really like the shower products. Parking is also easy, close by, and free.

Booked my reservation on Priceline. Great location, approximately twenty minutes from Buffall, NY. Classy and elegant lobby. Staff was friendly and a pretty busy hotel. Delicious complimentary chocolate chip cookies on arrival per guest. Room was clean and quite spacious. There was a pullout couch which was not comfortable at all. Overall, the rest of the room was great. Breakfast not included. I would stay here again.

The staff is very professional. The atmosphere is very inviting and warm, and everywhere everything is very clean. Rooms are spacious, nothing looks used or worn, everything looks new clean and smells good. There are a lot of little extras, like free bottles of water cookies, and coffee on tap.

The rooms smelled a teensy bit musty, but were otherwise fine. We went to a wedding reception here and the ballroom was great. Staff was nice at the front desk, and we even got a ton of free cookies! That was pretty awesome. Plenty of parking.

Overall, a great stay! The bed is comfortable, the room looks & smells clean and the welcome chocolate chip cookie was delicious! I love the modern artistic accents in the room and the hotel in general. It really has some beautiful and impressive aesthetics. Not to mention, the breakfast here is amazing! Much better than any hotel breakfast I've ever had. The only isses we had were that our key card didn't work when we got to our room on the 1st night & when my husband went to get it fixed, he had to wait a few minutes before anyone showed up to the front desk to help. Also, the toilet paper is in an awkward and slightly difficult to reach place by the toilet. Very minor stuff, so as I said, this is overall an amazing place! Would definitely stay here again!

Location was easy to get to and really close to where I needed to be the following day. The place was nice. Much nicer than the cost suggested. There was a pool that I didn't get to use. There was a bit of an atrium inside as well. Service was great. Everyone working the was nice and friendly. Breakfast was not free, but it was really nice.

Lovely hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Will be staying again when in the area. Warm cookie at checkin was great. They lay out is a little odd. You have to walk from the front lobby down, across, then up the main atrium that holds the hotel bar and pool to get to the guest elevators. Some rooms face the atrium, as ours did. It would be great if you are staying with a group, because these rooms have sliding glass doors that open to the open hall that runs along this side. However the slider can only be locked from the inside, so this can't be used as the main entrance to your room. The rooms are pretty standard, they do have a fridge in each room. There is a microwave down the hall by the elevator that anyone can use in the same space as the ice machine. The community areas seem recently updated and very modern.

Very clean, but lively lobby. You could feel the energy radiating all around from the sun shining thru the atrium windows as you walk into the center concourse to the pleasant disposition of many passerby. This morning I spent half my day to attend an E&O seminar for my insurance license continuing education NYS requirements. Going to these required CE courses is never something I really "look forward to", but it was well coordinated with the hotel, and an overall pleasant experience helped by the cheeky ambiance and friendly surroundings of the hotel lobby and conference area.

Nice hotel, only complaint is the elevator and area around the pool was so hot because of the pool. Rooms were great comfy beds clean. Cookies r amazing.

Gorgeous place. Loved the pool. I would only say that the complimentary internet is near worthless in the room and only works well of sitting by the check in desk. I would def stay here again, but shell out the $10 extra for business class internet service ahead of time. I especially loved the all season sky lights.

Cold! Room was cold. Atrium where the pool is was cold. Pool was OK temp, but froze when got out. Staff Person at check-in was unprofessional. Showing off a hole in the side of her pants. Cookies were warm. Room was nice, except for temp. Had to Max it to 78 to make comfortable. We live in cold climate and keep our house at 69.

Stayed here last night and there was a fire alarm set off and we evacuated the hotel for about 45 minutes. We were okay with this, fire trucks arrived did their check and we went back in after everything was clear. No sooner do we get back in and back to bed and the alarm goes off again, only it doesn't finish alarming, then again after five minutes, and again every few minutes for around 7 times! By the time the last partial alarm went off it was after 11pm! Call to the front desk during all of this asking how many more times this is going to happen with a rude response given. Check out this morning and bring it up again only to be told "sorry. " Do not stay here as you will get no sleep and still pay full price for a half a nights sleep… unbelievable the poor customer service we were given. Not to mention how uneasy our sleep was worrying about what if an actual fire was happening with all of the false start of alarms…

I would've rated this higher, but my room wasn't cleaned carefully. Although there's many security cameras around, I was told there weren't any by the ballroom. So you should take care near this area. The bartender was great, the front desk staff were great and everyone was friendly. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would be careful about my belongings and would bring some disinfecting wipes. I love that they have a shuttle to take you within 5 miles. That made it much easier for us. This place would be good for a weekend getaway, but be prepared — it's by some major roadways with a lot of traffic.

Location of the hotel is on. A busy shopping street. In Henrietta. Close to dozens of restaurants and bars as well as retail stores. The hotel itself was very nice inside and all. Staff we're attentive. The bar was very nice although it did smell like clorine a little as it must be close to the a swimming pool.

The room at this hotel are quite nice. The interior of the main area is definitely worth checking out as well. The whole lobby is open to the incredibly high ceiling and half a roof of windows that extends down to the first floor. There is a pool in this space, as well as a bar. Very attractive hotel, with helpful staff and reasonable room service rates.

Was told complimentary breakfast was included as it is at most hotels nowadays ended up getting charged $50 for sad buffet table. Hotel is nice but not a family friendly area. Tried to go to dinner at 7:30 hour everywhere. But $50 for buffet after being tol complimentary breakfast.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Great pool/bar area. Rooms were nice and bed was comfy, but felt bathroom could have used a little work. Sink/vanity was nice and updated but shower, wallpaper and vents needed some help.

This was my first time staying at this location and the overall service was great, but they also went above and beyond. This trip has included the first major snowfall in the area and the staff took it upon themselves to go out and clean off as many cars as they could. I am a diamond Hilton member, so am slightly biased, but have to say that no hotel I have ever stayed at, outside of a resort, has ever provided me that type of service. Thank you to the staff for doing this as it is truly appreciated!

Hotel is in a great location — easy pickup and drop off if you are having someone stay here from out of town as it's about 10 minutes away from the airport. Rooms are clean and very spacious. There's a very nice indoor pool and there is also a bar in the lobby area. There are plenty of event spaces and the dining room is staffed for breakfast lunch and dinner. Double Tree hotels are always great and this one is no exception.

The Double tree has upgraded there lobby and I am beyond in disbelief. It's amazing, breathtaking, they definitely put some good money and effort into this. It looks great as well as the service, the food all around greatness of this hotel.

This place has a beautiful atrium inside with a pool in a corner of the lobby. The rooms inside the hotel face the lobby and there is a huge glass wall overlooking the city. The place is beautiful inside and the view is excellent from the upper stories. Plus it's close to a lot of places to eat and shop. The worst thing about this place is the glass elevator. I swear, it has to be the slowest elevator in New York. It's almost torturous waiting for it to come and get you and then take you to the main floor. That may not seem bad, but I was there when a hockey league was and I had to stop in every floor to pick up more and more teenagers with all their giant bags of gear. Standing in a crowded elevator is much worse when the elevator is slow. Still, beautiful hotel.

The room is tastefully decorated. My only complaint would be that the toilet seat is showing signs of wear; this made me feel like the bathroom wasn't clean. If you're looking for a meal during your stay bring plenty of money. I felt the restaurant/bar was a little pricey for what you get. With that being said my stay was pleasant.

Unbelievably amazing. Great open atmosphere, indoor pool, friendly staff. The beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Not to mention FREE warm and soft cookies at the front desk. Truly a great place to stay.

It's a unique hotel with pretty much anything one might need. I've attended a wedding reception there, which was planned out very carefully, and went very smoothly. Customer service was at it's 100%, the staff was quick, kind and welcoming. The rooms were pristine, providing an ultimate level of comfort. Job well done Double Tree!

Staff is friendly and inviting. Renovations are completed from last year and look very nice. Rooms are cleaning large and comfortable. The only complaints are the chlorine smell in the first and second floor from the pool. And the trouble that I had getting towels before 9 a. M. Because housekeeping was not in. However as soon as they came in they did bring up towels. Otherwise my stay with exceptional and I would definitely come back.

Nice and clean. Recently renovated. Great pool and bar. A nice place to spend the evening while on a business trip. Also the breakfast bar is really awesome.

For such a grand hotel was very disappointed that there was no free breakfast, in house menu prices were outrageous ($6.00 for a bowl of cereal! ) room was nice but no liners for the garbage containers, no microwave in the room, no cups in the bathroom, had to "find" where the toilet paper was, no channel guide to let guests know what channels were offered, no 24 hour coffee station, cup of hot chocolate was $3.50. Again nice place very grand but was definitely disappointed, doubtful to stay a second time. I work at the Hampton Inn in Oneonta, NY and for a small hotel compared to this one ALL the above especially free breakfast is included. Very disappointed.

We stayed at Double Tree for my son's hockey tournament and we were glad we did. Yes there were a lot of kids but we expected that, the pool was a little smaller than we expected because pictures on the website from the angles the pictures lead you to think the pool is large. The pool was on the smaller size in real life but overall a very nice pool. Hotel was very clean and while breakfast was a little pricey it was good. The chocolate chip cookies offered at check in were very good.

The place is great… Very modern and the lobby is amazing. Nice little bar, although pricey. The gorgeous bartender made me an excellent drink. Room is great with a comfortable bed. No complaints.

Room was great and check in was smooth however the hockey families that were on our floor seemed to have full run over the whole place! Parents seemed to have no interest in watching their children but preferred on drinking and enjoying themselves while other guest had to listen to their children run free up and down the hallways, in the elevator, and pool area until ridiculous hours of the night. We were able to move our room the 2nd night thankfully but it was an inconvenience and nothing more then a sorry. I felt as thought the behavior of others should have been addressed.

My business needed two banquet rooms right next to each other with food service. I worked with Sharon who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The event ran very smoothly without any issues. The rooms we rented were Monroe north and Ontario north. Both rooms were spacious, clean and just what we were looking for. The hotel seems to be under construction but everything was clean and nice. I would definitely have another event there.

The hotel is being remodeled some at the moment. Friendly staff, clean room, bathroom could've been in better condition, good breakfast selection.

Had a seminar at the DoubleTree in the ballroom and the place was gorgeous. Loved the layout of everything and the employees where very nice and helpful. They served us breakfast and lunch and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

It was doing some remodeling when I was there. The room was clean and the location was great. The price was great as well! I would stay there again!

We stopped by looking at a wedding venue. The renovations they have done are spectacular. The ballroom is very spacious and the bridal suite is flawless. Great place.

Service overall is good, but staff was not proactive with educating out of state guest on rules and regulations in the area. Other guest and I were not notified before we arrived of the hotel's lack of online payment despite having registered and submitted payment information online. Other than that service was great. I can't give them 5 stars until they get more proactive with educating customers before they arrive.

Under construction currently but I've attended other events at this Hotel and it's decent. I've never spent the night. Construction should improve main foyer a lot.

I swam in the pool with my children and it was great until another guest at the hotel had the misfortune of her daughter vomiting in the pool. No one was notified of the mess, I pulled my kids out but the other children remained in the contaminated pool even after we'd gone back and showered post swim. I understand that the hotel doesn't have lifeguards on duty but the health issues of guests should be on the staff's mind and there should be periodic checks on the pool.

Great atmosphere and a beautiful public areas including an open dining area and pool area. We stayed during a hockey tournament and they were more than accommodating for all the hockey kids.

I like the hotel overall. It's convenient to many shopping opportunities and close to my office. I do wish they had a whirlpool and the pool was not in the middle of the hotel where people can look down on you from the balcony. Also, with the number of people with allergies, why do they only have cookies with nuts?

I have attended the same industry event for many years now. This event has been held at the Double Tree for a large portion of that time. My experience is always pleasent when I attend this event. Great food and a wonderful atmosphere.

Doubletree had great food for our banquet this year and we're very accommodating.

Went for a wedding, the food and service was fantastic. Other than having to share the hotel at the same time as a bunch of teen hockey players and an uncomfortable pull out mattress in the couch, they stay was great.

A nice place. We stayed here for a hockey tournament… with 12 other teams. So the place was overrun with rowdy kids. For the most part the security staff kept things under control. To accomodate the other guest NOT here for the hockey, they try to enforce a 10pm curfew. The hotel is very close to every possible food establishment that you could possible think off so finding a place to eat away from the hotel restaurants is easy. The restaurants inside the hotel are just way too expensive for what you are getting. $15 breakfast?!? $20 for rigatoni bollenaise?!? The hotel itself if very large and is in pretty good shape. The service is very good, from the front desk to the maid service. Everyone was friendly and accomodating. Well except for the grumpy security guy that kept chasing the boys around for playing knee hockey in the hall way. :) The Wifi is actually free, contrary to a previous review. Perhaps they have changed their policy since that review was written. The speed of the connection can be a little spotty if there are tons of people on it… which is probably the case most of the time. The free warm chocolate chip cookies they give out at the front desk are great. :)

Awesome place to stay! Rooms were very clean, breakfast was great and if you wanted something to eat later in the evening the food from the bar lounge was great too. All prices were reasonable and great service all around.

The staff was great and we ate so much delicious food. Loved the cookies at check in. Wonderful welcoming staff. Malik was a such a great server in the Bistro, such a humble gentlemen. Also, thank you to Dan, f&b manager, you made us feel very welcomed. Nice looking hotel as well. Miss the microwave in the room tho, but everything else made up for not having one. Thank you again, very nice place.

We booked 2 rooms online for 3 days and we didn't know later that we were charged for another room and they won't pay us back. Worst experience ever.

They have been re-doing the rooms and construction has been going on all day and night. I called the front desk and they said they would stop at 9:00pm and it's now 9:30pm. It's been noisy all day and the noise has continued into the night with no hope in sight. Wouldn't recommend this place.

A great hotel for families and kids. Perfect for sports teams. The breakfast buffet needs some work as the area is understaffed and the food is mediocre.

Had no issues. Beds were very comfy. I had pins in hip at time, so I am picky about bedding. 4 pillows that made me fall asleep quickly. I was away from pool area, so kid noise was no proble. Take these reviews with a grain of salt. Some people just like to complain about something.

Busiest day of the year and we had a death in the family. They did a great job accommodating our family and were very nice. Chicken parm and carrot cake were awesome.

Just staying over night due to my heart surgery. The staff was very warm and made me feel extremely comfortable. I asked about Wi-Fi and the manager I believe offered it for free during my stay. The pool is decorated beautifully. The tv's are nice, the restrooms are clean. My father's military and they give an reasonable discount. If I ever come through Rochester again This is going to be my go to place.

This is a great hotel, particularly for Hilton Honors members. The rooms are clean, with very modern decor. High-speed internet is available via in room wired connections. The fitness room is very nice! My one complaint: $11.00 seems over the top for a cold breakfast buffet. Other than that, the hotel is quite nice, and I will continue to choose it for my business travel.
