The room is great very clean new renovations done very nice.

Never anyone at the front desk. Room wasn’t bad, but the halls smelled. No carpet on the floors so can hear every movement from the people above you. Bad experience at the “ continental breakfast” instead of helping, a woman was argumentative about everything. They didn’t have hardly any choices either. Definitely over priced. Over 100.00 per night for this was a rip off. Wouldn’t swim in the pool if you paid me. Positive was the River view behind the hotel. Should have stayed at the Candlewood in Mattydale the whole stay.

The experience was pleasant. The room was clean. There was a clear entrance off the road. It wasn't right off a highway but still easy to get to. It had an outdoor pool that seemed clean. The continental breakfast was your standard fair. There was no problem with checking in or out.

We traveled over a thousand miles and had to stay in a few unsavory rooms for more money than we paid here. We have felt like royalty! So clean and the owners are so nice. Very accommodating. Made our stay very special. Thank you.

Nice place to relax near the river. And sit by the pool.

This place was a dump, plain and simple. Gave it two stars because the staff was friendly.

I wish I could rank this dump in the negative. There was no to little hot water, black mold on the tub fixture. Loose tiles on 2nd landing (a law suit waiting to happen). The security locks on outside doors didn't work. No security cameras on perimeter of buildimg. Just to name a couple of things. Be forewarned!

I've stayed here 3 times as it is the only hotel in the area. The first 2 times I've been checked into dirty rooms. Hair on the sheets, all over the sink. Just not at all clean. Now this last time in in room 117. Do not stay here. The floors above the room squeak so badly. I asked the front desk for ear plugs and the woman said they didn't have any. I called again and the man at the front desk said that the people above me were wearing steel toed boots and that they took them off. No, it's just a loud squeaking. Just do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

Great place to stay. Reasonable very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Hotel was pretty crappy. Doors aren't sealed right. No security whatsoever anyone off the streets could walk into the hotel where all the rooms are. Spiders and webs all over the place. My dad stepped on a piece of glass getting into the shower causing it to get stuck in a his foot and bleeding everywhere. The hallway smells like a strong odor of weed when we woke up. Thank goodness we were only staying one night. Won't be staying here again. Do not recommend to anyone.

Fleas fleas fleas fleas fleas. Did I mention that this place is infested with FLEAS? I should have known I was in for an interesting experience when while checking in the Indian lady owner was walking around with a can of RAID! Had to switch my room at 11pm because of FLEAS! The room I was switched to had no hot water and the television didn't work properly. Furthermore, the "security" door was broken so anyone could come in off the street. The stench in the hallway was indescribable. I suspect the "extended stay" guests at the end of the hall were involved in some sort of drug activity as I believe they were the source of the strong pungent odor. You can't make this stuff up! Absolutely the worst experience staying at a hotel I have ever had! Oh, by the way I am writing this at 2:50am because I can't sleep, it feels like my skin is crawling! I think I'll go sleep in my car! Obviously the discount I was given wasn't enough to buy my silence! Like I wouldn't write a review! … C'mon! I give this place a 1 out of 5 FLEAS… UNACCEPTABLE!

I enjoyed myself at this hotel it was very clean and the rooms were clean also the workers were very friendly shout out to one of the workers (Amanda)! Also hotel outside has a nice deck by a lake and has a bar and a room where you can play pool, And provides free breakfast In the morning. I can say I really enjoyed myself with my family we laughed and played in the big field outside of the hotel we caught baby frogs Also we had a cookout and went on a nature walk on a trail in the woods ✊ I had so much fun and I can't wait to go back I give this hotel a thumbs up.

Being here reminds me of a resort. This was the most fun and relaxed time that I ever had at any hotel! I definite would recommend this hotel. It has horse shoe game (4 game sights). Darts. A bar. A restaurant. A lake over view w /boats… a outdoor pool… a deck… hiking trail… fishing. Cookout area (which they supply the grill and seating) … PARTIES… ceremonies and a great place for wedding and wedding party over stay… gorgeous area, s for alone time or family time… huge back yard with country-like setting… front is hotel look… Hotel staff EXCELLENT… any minor issue that I had was quickly taking care of. Most recent reviews that I read was true… but there is nothing major. Or of great concern. Actually for price… the experience makes it worth the cash. (The nature back experience… I felt like I went on a summer vacation resort! … Score 10 with me! (The manager (staff worker). Took me on a tour, showing me the changes that they are making since the hotel became under new management. Any improvements that this hotel needs, I feel comfortable that the changes will soon be rewarding and will bring the star rate of this hotel ☝ up. Very kid friendly… Yes the staff monitors the hotel… but that is because the manager wants all to experience the best hotel stay ever safe — clean — and willing to make improvements… I Will Be Coming Back ASAP. Just to relax on the. £Hotel Resort£… Love this hotel… serve basic cold breakfast… with hot coffee and hot waffles and oatmeal packages.

Where do I begin the ceiling in the bathroom leaked to the point that there was a stream of water running down the wall. The wallpaper was peeling away and the handicapped handles on either side of the toiled were ripping out of the walls. There was no smoke detector, a hole in the wall, baseboard in bathroom was peeling away. The room cost me $155! When we told them about the water they responded with 'we know, the maintenance guy will be here Monday'. Well that doesn't help because it's Saturday. Then we said we wanted a discount at least. The only discount that they were willing to give us was $10 off. Paying for a room of this quality at that price is an absolute joke!

This was a great place to stay! Clean, great shower, very reasonable price, friendly owners. They informed us of a Great restaurant to eat at, Mimi's. Good food and great price! Would stay there again.

The Red Roof Inn Fulton NY used to be Riverside Inn. It is an older hotel-but recently renovated and clean. Cheery, helpful housekeeper. It has a lovely little lake behind it. Budget friendly — our room was $70 with a king size bed. They do AAA and AARP discounts.

What a cute little inexpensive place to stay! Building exterior could use some TLC but the interior is beautiful. The pool is well kept. There is a dock to sit at and drink your morning coffee. The continental breakfast included a waffle bar, cereal, fresh fruit, toast and bagels, along with juices and milk.

A big step up from the days of the Riverside. The staff was friendly and always available. Room was clean and very quiet. A/C worked perfectly and the landscape was nicely maintained. Price is right. Very glad we gave this another try.

By far the worse place ever. Dirty towels, open used soap on the sink, hard as a brick bed, floors nasty and bathroom disgusting. And only worth about 35 dollars a night not what they are charging. This hotel wouldnt get a star if I didn't have to give them one to make a review. Do not stay here!

My house burned ending me up at the Riverside inn so when I settled down in my room and found out that the smoke detector didn't have batteries in it I was concerned. I went to the front office and informed them of the circumstances and they replied "don't worry your room should not burn down tonight".

We got locked inside our room! Save yourself the trouble and do NOT book here. Our first "non-smoking" room was saturated with smoke smell and the clunking air conditioning leaked all over the carpet. Our feet got soaked from walking on the carpet. We switched rooms, since our asthmatic daughter was having a big problem in the smoky room. The second room smelled better, but there were a list of problems in this room too (dirty, 2 thin pillows/bed, no coffee maker, no microwave, no fridge). The worst part was when we went to leave in the morning, we COULDN'T GET OUT OF OUR ROOM! The door wouldn't open. The deadlock was stuck. We called the front desk and upon coming to the room, he started to freak out, using curse words (not cool with our 2 young girls). He did not calm the situation in any way, which then got our girls all worked up. The front desk guy called 9-1-1, but luckily, I figured out how to unlock the door. We were stuck in the room for about 20 minutes. When we checked out, the front desk guy offered to drop our room price by $20, Ughh. After arguing with him about the screwed up situation, he did allow us to pay 50%. Honestly, they should pay you to stay in a dump like this. Don't do it!

I chose to stay in Riverside Inn because I was visiting family in Fulton. I didn't have high expectations, but I was still disappointed. My main complaints are that the advertised free Wi-Fi did not work and the beds were very hard. There were also a series of little things, that I could have lived with, that needed improvement… the tissue box was empty, the toilet paper was very thin, there was no coffee maker, no microwave, poor lighting in the parking lot, no elevator, a strange smell to the room, etc… But the no Wi-Fi and hard beds are the reasons I'm not staying there again. Next time I'll stay in Oswego where there are far more choices, even though it means driving farther. On the positive side, the breakfast is tasty and complete with items like eggs, sausage, pancakes, bacon, etc. And the waitress is very nice.

I walked in and no one was at the desk. After a few minutes I started saying hello severeal times with no responds. Then five minutes later a lady came to the desk. I get my room. The halls were ice cold. I get to the room and it was ice cold to. I turned the heat on and it was very poor heating system. The bed was to soft tryed to sleep but between the cold and the soft bed it was awful. I took a shower and even on full hot the water was not very warm. Sorry I will not go back I was there only two hours and I had to leave needed to sleep but could not I slept better in my car.
