Beds are comfortable, good continental breakfast, reasonable rates.

The Best sleep I've had in years. The Bed was sooo comfortable. The bathroom was also the best. Good water pressure, easy to regulate. The price was ideal. When we return to Elmira we will be back. A day ago we stayed at a Lodging facility up in Intervale, NH and the shower water nearly burnt me. They will remain unnamed, however we played close to $200.00 for a night and had a bad experience. I highly recommend this particular Econo Lodge.

A couple hours after arriving there was a black out but the overnight staff remained calm and professional! The Lodge itself needs a lot of care such as paint towels, plumbing, … there was a 4 foot by about 5foot hole in the ceiling at the top of the 2nd floor stairs … look up youll see it… breakfast was a little scarce but I guess for the price idk…

Room with two double beds, large screen TV. Clean. Very be small bathroom. Satisfied stay.

I was a bit disappointed this time. It is just the opposite of of our experienceas last time. Brrakfast was not attended by anyone. No milk Very little cereal in the dispenser. Our room was not as good as it was last time. Anyway it was not what we expected. We will be staying here again in about 5 days. Let's see if things are different. For the inconvenience I am asking whether we will get a lower rate. I think we should.

When we arrived, we could take 1 hr. Check in earlier. That was good.
Then we entered the room and it stank hugely for smoke. When we asked for a non-smoking room, the lady told us we had booked a smoker. After a short discussion we got a non-smoking room.
This one was pleasantly clean. Also the bathroom was in an acceptable condition.
The breakfast was delicious. My wife even got a gluten-free breakfast.
The location was good for our trip to NY.

This place definitely met a five star rating for "bang for your buck". You get what your pay for. Cons: Outdoor facing rooms. Hot breakfast game not strong. The door was a little drafty. Pros: Distance from airport. VERY helpful and nice staff. They let you leave your car there while you're on your trip to (wherever you flew to) instead of paying an extra $35-45 to the Airport. All the basics. TV, clean room, no smells, restaurants in the same parking lot, and very very inexpensive. If this room were $90-100, I'd give it 4 stars. If it were $130+, I'd give it three stars. I wouldn't pay more than that. (Review relevant to 2018 $USD)

Good value for work related travel. Not a place to impress anyone but clean rooms although a bit tight in the bathroom. Stayed a few times while working in the area. Friendly staff even has microwave, iron and free WI-FI. They have free coffee in rooms as well as in the lobby. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles along with various cereals. Nothing fancy but you have to wonder how they can do it all for such a cheap rate. Beds and pillows are fine as well as plenty of towels.

Wow, CAN'T beat it for the price! Comfortable and clean. Nice hot breakfast too. Staff was super friendly, awesome location for shopping and restaurants.

Always 5/5. They are super accommodating and I feel safe when I stay there.

— Uncleaned mold covered by wallpaper, very limited housekeeping, water takes about 5 minutes to get hot, very weak toilet water pressure, terrible guest washer & dryer + nice TVs, some cosmetic updates, good enough breakfast, cheap rates Don't launder your clothing here, unless you want your clothes to be substandardly washed then ruined in the dryer. Go to a laundromat.

Extremely pleased. Very good value. Nice hotel for very cheap price. Stayed for one night for a local interview and was pleasantly surprised. Nice comfortable and large king bed. Clean room with no smell. Nice large flat screen with fast Wi-Fi. Room was large and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and check in was super fast. Would definitely stay again.

So far the place is not too bad at all a few things need to be updated the beds are very comfortable no smells breakfasts is not bad other then the sausage links are gross. The staff are nice and friendly. I would stay here again for sure.

Um, wow, someone else's shorts (previous customer) as hanging on this back of the bathroom door. Had to change the tp and inside that little thing was several think layers of dust. I wasn't looking. It was that obvious. Besides that it was okay but those things lowered my trust level significantly. Sorry to say, a bit unnerving.

I must admit to being pleasantly surprised by the accommodations here at the Econolodge. Having stayed at various similarly priced establishments in and around Elmira over the last month for business, I've seen some rather iffy hotels. True, the parking lot is a bit of a mess, and I literally can't stand upright in the shower, but everything is clean and my welcome was warm. So was the breakfast, which I wasn't expecting, but was certainly a great way to start the day. I'll most certainly be back.

Nice facilities in room, with multiple power sockets on desktop. Easy for guests. Enough parking spot on the rear. Inexpensive.

We have already recommended the Econo Lodge Elmira to several friends and expect to return ourselves. The property isn't fancy, our interest was in our room and for the price range in this area we were very pleased. We'll furnished room, clean crisp white bedding, good firm mattresses, decent bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, free easy connect Wi-Fi, all we needed. We were on the second floor. There is no elevator, we don't have one at home, no problem for us (motel is only 2 stories). Complimentary breakfast opens 5AM — ideal for early risers. Again, not fancy but better than similar offerings we've had at other lodging in the area at twice the price. Great location for a variety of restaurants and plenty of stores. All staff we encountered were pleasant and offered assistance.

Room was nice. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was lacking and not tasty. Price and location was good.

Meh, get what you pay for. Front desk was nice and room was clean. The rooms were tired and the maintenance staff is too. Hard to overlook their lack of attention. They moved the toilet paper hanger and left the anchors in the wall. Try harder. I took them out for ya.

Good place to kick back before snd after concerts at tags. Very reasonable too.

Stayed at the Econo Lodge in Elmira. It was a nice visit. The woman at the desk was very friendly.

Pretty cost effective place to stay. Building is a little old, but pretty well taken care of. Newer furniture & TV in the room and pretty good breakfast as far as hotel breakfasts go. Only mild complaint is the size of the bathroom (I'm not really sure why they minimized it as much as possible, but not a big deal). Overall a great place to stay, especially for the price.

The room we reserved was unavailable so the manager upgraded us to a bigger room for the same price as the smaller room. Our room was very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi and free hot breakfast.

Really enjoyed the stay. Restaurants close and close to the freeway and malls. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff super. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Hulagins up at all hours on a sunday night partying like it's a frat house in the back parking lot. Then playing a game called slam the doorsalot in the hallway. The room was okay, no complaints, nice tv. But there is no control over the noise of other guest.

I had a very nice room that was inside, very spacious and nice big bed. Very friendly staff also nice location. The rooms that were outside did not look as nice though.

Located close to the mall, the room was nice, it was clean, it did have a couple cob webs but the bathroom was clean and the water remained hot. Good price for the value.

The bed was like heaven, only thing I couldn't sleep I heard water running all night. The front desk kept turning off our key. When we got back to our room at 2am I had to stop at front desk to have it set again. I found that inconvenient. Otherwise room was nice clean, and very comfy.

Bad smoking smell for both non-smoking room and smoking room. Staff supposes to be at front desk is missing most time during the day. Slow re-fill for breakfast stuff, no milk or other similar food are served after 9am as it was claimed to be out. Depends where you go, the location is far from finger lake, average 45 mins to nearby scenery. Having said that, that's the one I will avoid in future.

This Motel has fallen to us and we can recommend it. The external appearance is unremarkable, and the first encounter at the reception, a cancellation. We arrived a few hours early. But already, a little later, the room is available. The room is spacious, the Service is very well sought after, and in the case of linguistic problems for a solution. — We were pleased to be here.
