Most unsatisfactoy places we have ever stayed. Bar is high priced. $6 for a well shot. Complimentary breakfast is a total joke. 4 oz. Coffee cups. Food is mostly nonexistent. First and last time.

Very clean, staff were pleasant, easy check in and check out. Loved the walking bridge and the beautiful view at sunrise! I suprised my husband with a date night and he loved the room and the view in the morning!

Older hotel, undergoing some renovations. The service at check in and out was super friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was closed for maintenance, but that cannot be helped. I loved the high ceilings and open beams in 621. It was relaxing and calming to have natural light com in from above. Great country views and it was quiet. Added bonus: Longshots Bar and Grill. The food was really good. Get the wings! Everything we tried was very good and our server, Jackie was awesome and knowledgeable. I recommend both places. Great values for your $$

We quite pleased with the latest stay at this property. The property is undergoing many renovations (which have been needed for a long time). The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and everything in the room worked properly. The refrigerator and microwave were welcomed additions. The staff was VERY helpful and accommodating! Our 2 cats traveling with us were welcome (the $10 pet charge was fine by me). Furnishings in the room were somewhat sparse, but think that's due to the work in progress. One of the few places left where you can actually get a smoking room. Considering that this was a smoking room, found that you wouldn't have known that upon arrival (that's how clean the room was! ). Price was reasonable. It's not a 5 star property (and does not claim to be), but it is a diamond in the rough. With a little more work it will reach it's full potential. Will definitely be going back here in the future!

Well, it's better than a Motel 6. Rooms are quiet for the most part, and sort of clean. I think the age of the furniture and tile make it look a bit more dingy than it really is. No bedbugs, though it looks like an Orkin guy and some elbow grease could get rid of these massive wasp nests. Definitely a "well used" set of rooms. You can actually open the windows! New carpet! Rooms reek like cigarettes, though, that was our fault for not asking for non-smoking rooms, but in our defense they could have offered it. We're not from NY! I have to ask though, did the moron who installed the bathroom door even notice that you can't open it all the way…? Put it on the other side of the wall. Minus the need for some TLC, the hilltop view at sunset and nearby parking was very nice. Not a totally horrible stay for $100. Though, I would skip the attached bar/restaurant.

Was very nice. Needs a little updating but great for the price. Restaurant staff was very engaging and fun.

We had a nice stay! The rooms were clean, the pool was great and the views awesome. We will definitely be back to stay again…

Cute place. outdated but its nice. Clean. The beds are comfortable, however the pillows were really small. The breakfast wasn't the greatest. Not much to choose from. The pool is nice, well maintained. The guest service was great. Very friendly and respectful. Id stay again.

Good but not great. To be fair, we were there at the very opening of their season — but they were not even close to being ready. Place not very well kept. Rough around the edges. Not professionally built or remodeled. Uneven floors, incomplete landscaping, etc. I had the impression their better days are behind them. Could improve, but we did not get the impression it will be too much. Outdoor pool was nice. A bar with a singer was so-so. Our view include a truck/port-a-pody parking lot. Overall, the place to us was a 3.4 out of 5.

Ok I would have to say that I wouldn't pay out of pocket to stay here, I'm sure that there is better places to stay in town. The website for this place seems that it doesn't fit the actual place. As the place is dirty the rooms are dusty the pool is green ok it does say pool closed I'll give it that. The food at the bar is good. As for having a wedding here definitely don't do it unless you're low on funds. I find that hotels on the west coast are so much better just my opinion. My recommendation is don't stay here unless you have to. OH BY THE WAY THE Wi-Fi HERE REALLY SUCKS! Ok walked into my room today it did smell clean so that's good. Floor wasn't vacuumed. The restaurant serves some really good burgers. I do recommend.

This is definitely actually a motel. The pictures are brilliantly done for their weddings because you can't tell that the ceremony area is actually right in front of the pool.

I attended a wedding a few weeks ago and the new addition looks amazing! The food was excellent and so was the dessert. I hope I get invited to another.

Very clean and spacious rooms, the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

Fun place with live music and good beer. Also, a nice patio and a hotel attached if you would rather get a room instead of driving home.

Great retro hotel that's being renovated. Imagine a 1960s hotel on a hilltop with a long defunct airstrip. This place was a quiet getaway for decades. Now being updated its just off exit 44 on the Thruway. Great bar, large banquet spaces and outdoor areas.

I needed a cheap place to stay. I'll admit it. And while the entrance was tricky (pull over at reception, then they will give you directions to drive your room) the motel itself was lovely. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a little bar/resteraunt complete with pool table. The food was good. The drink was strong but tasty. It was much more enjoyable than the price would suggest.

The rooms are priced well, very nice, clean. The hotel bar is a great place for a drink, and karaoke night is a blast.

The upper level rooms are very good, has a cottage house look. Very spacious and well maintained. They need improvement at their breakfast. Breakfast room is also tiny.

My fiance and I went to check out potential venues for our upcoming wedding. The event scheduler Angelo was very friendly and helpful answering all our questions. The running room was very nice but much of the rest of the building looked dated and needed some repairs. We were told many renovations will be done within the next year, so it may be in better condition soon.

I don't think I have ever been in such a disgusting hotel. Mold in the air conditioners… the woods and nature surrounding the hotel is infested with ticks. Ticks crawl under the doors and they will be in your room. The rooms look like they don't even have house keepers. Walls are filthy. Super dumby place. Staff are jerks. Don't waste your money here. It's simply not worth it.

Don't let the pictures fool you, this place is gross and is completely infested with wasps, bees and spiders, I even had to kill a spider mid shower! They'll tell you they serve breakfast at the restaurant but turns out the restaurant doesn't even open until noon! Try waking up after you've been at a wedding all night just to find out they lied about opening for breakfast and to basically go fend for yourself. What kind of establishment blatantly lies to their guests just to piss them off later? All in all this place was so disgusting and we left as soon as we could.

This place is a dump. The older man at the front desk is rude as hell. The place has a SERIOUS wasp and bee problem. There is wasp nests EVERYWHERE, you can't even sit in the balcony due to so many wasps just everywhere. The place needs to be gutted and re-built. Even the vending machine doesn't work. We went down for breakfast, nope, no breakfast, the rude old man pretty much told us to F off. I don't think I can efficiently explain the amount of wasps and bees, it's literally unbelievable. Do not stay here.

After arriving at 4 am our room was not available because they didn't have it… They give confirmation numbers over the phone but then tell you they don't use them in there system. The manager came to meet us. Obviously very pissed off and rude that he was awoke from his slumber. So instead of our one room with two queen beds. We were told they had two rooms but they had king beds. We would be charged for both rooms. After some stern words he reluctantly agreed to charge us for one room. When we got to the rooms they looked liked something out of the movie SAW. These are rooms that aren't "in the system". We Googled other hotels and left. Earning a night in prison for showing the manager how to speak to a woman would've been better accommodations. It's not a hotel it's a motel with long term living options. Which definitely brings out some shady people.

Nice place. The room was clean, the pool is great and the view is really nice. A great place for the price. We needed more towels and they resolved it right away They have a nice bar but it was closed The only down thing was breakfast. It was just coffe and store bought cupcakes. Tried to make waffles and the mixture came out grey, yuck!

The room was dirty, not just poorly cleaned, I mean dirty! Bloody boogers on the walls and cock roaches came climbing up after the sun went down. Not worth the cost of the room even though it was cheap.

I would give you guys a better rating but ive been trying to call to book a room and its been ringing busy for the past hour, kinda hard to book a room when no one will answer.

My friend three a rave here for NYE. The 10$ beer buckets are awesome and when you are done with the party you can go back to your room and sleep it off!

Very bad hotel. It is cheap but not very clean. There were bugs everywhere in the hotel. The bar was not open on labor day weekend during Drum Corps Associates championships. Overall very bad experience there and would not got back. The hotel is in the middle of no where. The only good things was that they let us use one of the meeting rooms for pizza and let us practice outside the hotel. I would not recommend staying at this hotel as it is pretty far from Rochester and there are much better hotel in Rochester.

Our rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and we had a good experience when we first arrived. BUT, we told the front desk our son was going to arrive late — — after midnight — — and asked if they would leave a key for our room for him. They said no problem. Well, our son arrived after working a 12-hour shift and driving 6 1/2 hours and when he arrived and called the number specified at the front desk, a very grumpy gentleman greeted him and told him there was no key left for him. Our son told him the room number so he made him a key (taking him at his word, I guess …) Then, our key did not work on the second night and another gentleman, who we discovered after some prodding worked for the hotel, let us in and said he'd come back with a replacement key. He did not. I'm 50/50 with this one.

Nice place, it was clean and the staff was friendly. The price was reasonable, less than $80 for 2 adults and a dog.

Lets see… where to begin. We checked into the hotel on 22 May to attend our neices graduation from RIT. At first glance the room seemed ok, a little outdated. After getting settled in we could not find the remote for the old TV, so I started looking for it in the cabinet. I was unable to find it but I did find 2 boxes of condoms. I called the front desk and they sent the maintanence guy up, at this time he took me outside to explain to me that their was a swingers party in the room we were staying in and they probably left them. OK… got it, strike one… the TV had horrible reception and he said that he would be installing a new flat screen in the morning… never happened… strike two. Then while moving the bedspread my wife found an opened condom package on the floor near the bed… strike three. If it was not for the lack of hotel rooms in the area for the graduation I would have moved to another hotel. Obviously they do not do a good job of cleaning the rooms. Also the towels were paper thin and were not even adequate to dry off. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone with a family to stay there, it seems that they hold a lot of swinger parties there.

We have stayed because of the rate per night, but put up with the disrepair, smells and lack of comfort that other places have as a standard. They raised the rate by 30% which makes this place off limits. We can do the Microtel a few miles down the road for 55 per night and they have al new beds. Ownership sucks at this location (Howard).

As we found with all 4 motels we used on our vacation, the room we had was well kept, clean and orderly with a relaxing view overlooking the green, tree covered, wooded area to the east. Entering the driveway one night it was exciting to see a wild Grey Fox, one of the two foxes that live in the area, trotting along and looking straight at us. Our whole experience was very relaxing and enjoyable. We also dealt directly with the owner on a credit card issue and found him very understanding and helpful. His attitude was one of cooperation and concern for our satisfaction. We plan on returning to the area in the future and will definitely stay here again.

Filthy, dust, smells like mold, ring in tub and long brown hairs! Horrific.
