This place has gone down hill! I’ve stayed at this specific red roof inn hotel in the past while visiting family, so I figured, why not do it again. Never again will I stay here. We asked for a non smoking room and was given a smoking room. The bed spread has burn holes in them, floors and falls were dirty and had holes in them. Toilet leaked, bathroom door knob was falling off. Phone had ashes on it. The maids never stopped by to offer any towels and the management doesn’t have a key to their own linen closet to give more.

Pet friendly. Nice staff.

Adequate parking. Easy access. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.

Terrible service will never go there again.

Would not recommend staying here for multiple reasons…

My friends and I stayed here on 1/11/19 and it was the worst experience we have ever had! Bed bugs and roaches were in the rooms! The first room we were placed in room 232 had a roach in it and they placed us in another room 205 for the inconvenience. We woke up the next morning with bites all over our faces and bodies and when I went downstairs to complain the lady at the front desk, named Nancy, who was very nonchalant about it and also told me that she couldn’t refund my money for the night we stayed. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she wasn’t around. We had to call corporate to see about their policies and the entire time she could have refunded my money but chose not to until the manager told her to give the money back. Do not go here they have bed bugs and roaches.

I recently stayed there for one night. Staff at the check in desk was really friendly. The room on first appearance is clean but if you look under the bed, you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in a really long time. I made sure to get a non-smoking room but you can definitely tell people have smoked in there. The room had an ambiance of cigarette smell and there was cigarette burns on the blankets. Also the highway is right next to the motel so you can hear big trucks and loud vehicles at night. I can’t complain about the price though, $80 a night for 4 people. So you know what they say, you get what you pay for.

The one night deal was good. The cleaning is really nice. I think that no smoking room is not enough to avoid smell something. Keep a little bit more attention.

A friend and I visited for a weekend, so the price was fair because we weren't going to be staying long. The room wasn't extremely spacious but it was clean. There's limited amenities in the room: no hair dryer and no iron. The service desk was nice enough to bring the small ironing board and iron they have to us after we called. While both the iron and ironing board looked like they've been through lots of use, they worked fine, but take care if you're ironing something important. The remote in the room didn't work, but again, for how short our stay was, it wasn't a big deal. The location is near to the essentials: diners and gas stations, so that was good. Overall, if you're looking to keep lodging costs low, this place works, but if I stayed for longer than a few days, I'd consider a different option.

Fair but did not offer any kind of breakfast.

I've recently stayed here overnight by myself and wanted something affordable with no frills. This place was exactly that! The room was much nicer than expected and very clean. The only things I wish they put in the room were a hairdryer and a refrigerator. The walls are also pretty thin and they allow animals to stay so I could hear some barking, but not enough to bother me. Overall a comfortable and affordable hotel, I would definitely recommend it if you are staying for a few nights.

Our room was nice and clean. We stayed overnight and we're completely happy with our stay. The staff was pleasant and friendly and hand-poured our coffees for us in the morning. Great for the price. We'll happily stay again.

Check in time was supposed to be 1pm. Got there at 220pm and were told there were no available rooms cleaned yet. Immediately set the tone. Had to shop with our cars full of luggage still. Got back at 430pm. Room was filthy. Rotting peach under the bed. Gummy bears and a full garbage. Didn't even clean it at all. Smelled like they sprayed febreeze and walked out. The bed was uncomfortable as well. Felt like sleeping on a sagging bean bag chair. Couldn't wait to get out. All night was terrified of bed bugs. Do not stay here. Location is bad as well.

I was only there for a short time. The parking was great and it was in a nice location. There were gas stations and convenient stores as well as a restaurant very close by. The rooms were nice and comfortable.

It was clean, and I liked the hardwood floors. The bathroom was small but there was plenty of room in the living space. The lamps were well designed and convenient. There were gnats at the coffee station in the lobby, but maybe they'll clean them up.

Room was not very clean and smelled like wet dog. The lady who checked us in seemed confused and out of it. Price was good, but wouldn't stay here again.

Great place. Marci at the front desk was pleasant, very helpful and just a wonderful person. Always smiling and ready to assist.

This place had helpful staff and clean well kept rooms. We stopped here on our trip to Indiana and then stopped at a red roof inn in Elyria Ohio. After experiencing the Ohio location it made our stay in Syracuse seem like a spa retreat. Thank you for taking care of your business. It shows. Will probably stop here again next time we travel that way.

Stayed here this past weekend, the women at the front desk were not friendly and seemed agitated. Although there was not trash laying around the building, the building itself was extremely run down and needed repairs. The room was clean but had a musty smoke smell, we slept with the window open, which by the way did not have a screen. The room was very dated and in need of some tlc. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom was too small. Housekeeping was awesome, very accommodating and friendly! The location was perfect for commencement weekend ar Syracuse University.

It's a nice hotel, pets are welcome here. But they are short staff at the front desk and room service on the weekend. You would think red roof inn would have more people working especially the price is high on weekends.

Room was gorgeous. Hardwood floors, flat screen TV, King size bed. Room was very cozy. Staff was great with knowing what's around and their restaurant recommendations for nice local places where awesome.

The facilities and rooms are small, the service is pretty good and the location is excellent, they should improve the security of the facility. It is not the worst hotel but definitely can improve. Which I definitely do NOT recommend is the one that is next door (Days INN)

The room was too HOT and the heat was not on, AC would not run (and it's March), toilet wouldn't flush, they didn't clean, no room amenities, grounds outside covered in feces and it seemed like there were some shady people that took permanent residence. Coffee was good and I'm glad I only paid $50/night vs. $90 others were paying. I will never stay there again.

My fiance and I are frequent guests at this and all Red Roof Inn's. During our last stay, my fiance and I had requested a late checkout of 1 pm which was granted. We were running behind and I had called the front desk to request a little more time. The woman at the front desk (who I found out later was the GM) was very rood and said we needed to get out of the room ASAP or she was charging us for another night. After a short discussion of our situation the GM informed that we could have until 1:30. When getting back to the room prior to 1:30 and standing outside the the housekeeper harrased myself and my fiance indicating that if we didn't leave the front desk was going to police. Worst customer service ever.

Very nice! Animal friendly. Comfy beds. There was a shirt left in the bathroom that did not belong to us. Otherwise enjoyable. One room had very loud dogs that kept us up. Don't know how close it was to us.

Nice place to stay on a budget. Rooms are clean staff are helpful and friendly.

My stay was ok. The room was clean and the price is great especially if you have a dog. It's possible to walk to Dunkin Donuts. Next time however I would consider one of the hotels in Carrier Circle. That area seems quieter and a little nicer in general.

My husband and I actually stay here often. The rooms are always immaculate, the prices are amazing and the staff are all friendly and will always direct you to great local restaurants. It's right off Carrier Circle and you can't beat it for a room under 90 bucks. The place is always packed and the beds are comfortable!

Not amazing, one could even described it as a downer. The door doesn't close properly unless you slam it, the latch on the door is broken, there's no fridge nor microwave, not even a box of tissue. There's no temperature control but do have an AC that can cool the unit. The bathtub is not really clean, and the drawers and hangers are out of shape. The elevator smell funny, the ice machine is only available near the lobby, and the house keeping seems to only do the minimum unless there's additional "motivation" is involved. HOWEVER, the place ISN'T really that bad, it's ok clean with plenty of lights for you to activate and it have free Wi-Fi without any password. Free parking, doggy is allowed and the front desk guy is chill. Overall, it's a pretty good place to stay if you don't need all that luxury or you have a dog. Don't expect too much and you will be fine here.

One of my favorite hotels. Great price for the room. The rooms are all very nice and clean with a microwave and a mini fridge in each of them. They also have early check in. I believe at six or seven in the morning you can check in and keep the room till I believe eleven or noon the following morning.

We were in room 104. The attendent was great and quick. The parking is good. Location is only a 10$ Uber ride away. Good bed, clean and comfy.

Good quality rooms. Easy to access, budget friendly staff is friendly. Quiet area, lots of amenities nearby.

Mostly clean. There was some dirt on bedspread but sheets seemed fine. Cigarette burns in the curtains. Quick overnight while driving cross country. Fine for the price. Small rooms as expected for motel.

Decent hotel for the money. $52 a night. I wouldn't pay more than that. No fridge or micro. Housekeeping does well and front desk does good. I sleep with a fan so it drowns out noise of the road. If you don't you will hear the road. We stayed during the week so can only speak for weekdays. No hair dryer in room, but you can ask for one.

Room was adequate for a few hours of sleep on a road trip. Affordable and simple.

The room was clean enough. There were no particular complaints. I was just using it as a place to crash for the night when I was too tired to drive. It was bare bones with everything that you needed but absolutely nothing more. It was adequate for the value that I paid for it. The room was absolutely nothing special, but it got the job done. I would stay there again if I needed a quick, inexpensive overnight.

The motel is clean and comfortable. Surprisingly good quality for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were very easy. The only unpleasant experience was trying to call for a reservation. The automated system put me on hold for about five minutes before I got a human being. All told, we've stayed here three or four times in five years. They've all been pleasant stays. We'll probably stay again.

Arrived early morning. Was checked in quickly as we had a sleeping baby with us. The room smelled like a 1970s motel. Booze and smoke were prevalent. Bed coverings were stained a bit. The linens were clean. Shower was nice, abundant hot water. It was loud so our child didn't wake anyone up at night so that was a positive. For the money, it was a reasonable value.

I was visiting my sister who was staying there. The room was nice and clean. She really enjoyed that she could bring her dog. I thought that was great too, for future reference, for myself, since I too have a dog. Hardwood floors were nice. They also exchanged her room no problem when she had an issue with the first room she was assigned.

The outside of the hotel is not very nice, but don't let that scare you off. The lobby is small but clean. The rooms are a little larger than your standard hotel room with a fridge, microwave, large working space and a safe. It's as nice or nicer than other that are 3 stars or less. The rooms have recently been renovated and I think it is probably much nicer than it had been.

The lovation is nice, it's right off 90 and easy to get to. The rooms are well maintained, but the out facing rooms are noisy making it hard to sleep.

We are travelling across the country and for the most part we stay in red roof inns. This was the best location so far. It was clean, the front desk was helpful, and comfortable bed. Cheap and allows dog. Plus a noon check out!

Upon arrival it was clear that this wouldn't be a pleasant stay. The hotel faces a truck stop despite being described as "family friendly" on the website with nothing to actually substantiate such a claim. Be aware of this if you are with a family. Family friendly is not at all accurate and there are PLENTY or other hotels in the area to choose from. Apparently you have to book a "deluxe" room if you want a microwave or refrigerator. I was told they only have 10 rooms that currently offer 2 beds with these appliances, which isn't made clear on the website. Desk clerk was very off putting and made a snarky comment when we came back a second (and later a third time) trying to obtain a room with 2 beds and a refrigerator. She never explained the situation to us which would have eliminated any confusion on our part, simply had attitude. The entire staff I encountered seemed unprofessional and unfriendly (except the housekeeper who was nice/helpful) which is not the type of service I expect from the "hospitality" industry. Overheard other guests that had issues with service (or lack of) that evening as well. I could go on and did place a review with the Red Roof Inn directly. To which I received a "stock" reply/apology. Instead I will end with this… You get what you pay for … It's definitely worth paying a little extra money to stay someplace else. Comfort Inn isn't far from there and when I stayed there had a very pleasant experience.

I've enjoyed my stay everytime I've been there. The prices are great. The bed is extremely comfortable. The people they have at the counter are pretty monotone, but friendly. The location is only about 10 minutes from destiny usa, which I've gone to every time I've been there. It's a nice area. I would recommend this hotel.

Front desk person was chatty and helpful. Room was cramped and small, but clean. Being that we were only there to sleep and leave, it served it's purpose. For the price, I'd stay again.

They allow dogs and the room was clean so that's most important. Good service.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was a great overall experience and I could bring my cat with not extra charge. It is only about 10 minutes from most things you'd want to do and at a great price. The only small thing is that the heater whistles when it comes on but other than that the room was very clean and the service was great.

Place is ok, felt unsafe, definitely better than the other places in the immediate area.

Customer service was great. The rooms were clean. It's cheap and if your just driving through and need a place to stay good spot.

Horrible, disgusting mess. What a horrible hotel. Moldy bathroom, tub backs up and fills with water and hair, shower head sprays all over and actually squeals so loud it can be heard in the room. The towels are the size of a dam shammy, great if your drying your tea cup poodle! Concrete ceilings are falling apart and everything needs a fresh coat of paint. If you want to experience what sleeping in prison might feel like try this hotel, its a concrete box. The overall rating they got of 2 stars on other sites is not far off.

Great room for great price.

This is the best Red Roof at which I have stayed. I am a regular guest and the staff is wonderfully accommodating. I bring my dog with me when I have an extended stay and the staff always does its best to give me the same room so that the dog feels at home. I guess dogs remember (smell) where they have been so he is always happy to be here in "his" room. And there is NO CHARGE for the dog! Try to find that deal at other places. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant within walking distance in addition to a Dennys, pizza joint and Dunkin Donuts. They even have room service. You cannot go wrong. It is right off I-90 so it is central to everything. Don't let the cheap prices steer you away. This place is every bit as good as those chains that are considered a step up at more than an additional $25-50/night, plus pet fees. Give it a try. Only thing that is missing is free breakfast but I prefer the savings on the room. As I said, Dunkin Donuts is next door and there is free coffee in room and in the lobby. Thank you Red Roof.

After checking I we noticed that other rooms had mini-fridge and microwaves. When we asked about them the desk clerk put the blame on us for not asking for the upgrade to the deluxe king. Paying extra for a mini-fridge when it is standard in other hotels, really. Plus to cap it all off there is spider webs in the room not just one but several and the mirror is dirty. We had to ask the desk for a blow dryer.

While the outside looks a little sketchy and you access the rooms from outside, we were most pleasantly surprised by the brand new room inside. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean. A/C unit big, but not so loud you couldn't sleep. TV's fridge and micro all brand new. Right off highway, but no hwy noise at all. Beds are all doubles (not queen), if you are a couple get the king room.

Actually a gem for the price! The room was very nice, with lots of space. We stayed there a couple of nights on business and we would do it again.
