Nice room, good location for business trip, staff nice and helpful. Need to upgrade the free breakfast as other nearby competitors have more to offer. However, competitors don't have kitchens in the room so if you have an "extended stay" planned and intend to cook the choice is easy; stay here!

The staff was very helpful and courtesy. The breakfast was just muffins and nature valley bars and coffee or tea. Room was dated but clean.

Excellent hotel for the star rating. Very calm, peaceful with nice staff.

Above average rooms. Good for longer stays as the kitchen provided is quite useful. Housekeeping is purely namesake. Stayed here for 2+ weeks, during which housekeeping came just twice and just made the beds. No vacuuming or cleaning the floor of any kind was done. Housekeeping must be improved!

Was very helpful employees was family friendly rooms were clean and huge for what ur paying very cheap if I could give them 100 stars I would this was the best hotel we've been to that help more then needed.

Syracuse Extended stay is one of the Better Extended stays I have been. The staff is so friendly and the rooms are clean. Ruby Tuesdays is within walking distance.

This is a very nice place to stay! Staff went out of their way to accommodate us with my handicapped father. It exceeded our expectations as did the staff. Its very clean & well kept, beds were very comfortable and all was updated.

Good if you need an apartment in a pinch. All the amenities plus utensils.

Staff was very welcoming and eager to help. The whole building is outdated but spacious. The area is quiet and surrounded by other hotels on a dead end street. The kitchenette in the room is sufficient and has a full size fridge and lots of cupboard space. The provided dishes and pans could be updated.

Asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. When I complained they handed me a bottle of Febreeze and told me next time not to do discount booking to secure my room. Screw this place.

Amazing breakfast. My daughter ordered a S'mores Hot Chocolate, unbelievable! I ordered a California Benny and it was absolutely delicious! Must go!

I have stayed here a few times and had completely different experience every time. One time was excellent on the first floor, the room was clean, remodeled, quiet. Last time I stayed on the second floor and the room had a smell from the AC and I was not able to get rest because person next door was too noisy all night and all morning. The office staff has always been very professional and helpful. Location felt safe.

Great service. The employees are great. Rooms are fine. The problem with this particular ESA is the other guests and the thin walls between you and them. I suggest requesting a room on the third floor. That way you won't have someone stomping on the floor above you. You will only have to deal with the ignorant guests to either your left or right.

Everything was lovely. Very comfortable and pleasant. Priscilla was so sweet to us when we checked in and was very friendly. Only issue waa that they didn't have any coffee in the morning. Otherwise 5 out of 5

We originally booked at the Super 8 next door, but without notice the Super 8 cancelled our reservation. My DISABLED husband and I were left with nowhere to sleep after a 5 hour drive. The Extended Stay saved us. Jim at the front desk was amazing. This place is clean, safe, and comfortable. It was almost a Godsent that Super 8 cancelled us after reading their reviews. I loved our stay at Extended Stay. Thanks again for helping us out.

I'm giving this place two stars instead of one only because they were very nice and apologetic the next day. We prepaid the room for the night. I called to make sure the room was available as we were arriving extremely late. They assured me it was no problem. It was after midnight when we arrived. The front door was locked but they had a house phone to call the desk to be let in. All the lights were off on the front desk and no one was there. No one answered my call. I looked up the regular phone number and called on a regular phone; again no answer. I tried pounding on the doors but got no response. I was trying the national resevation number in the hopes they had an emergency phone number when someone came to the door. The night desk clerk was doing laundry and couldn't hear me. Let's just say I was not greeted with a warm welcome when the door finally opened. I tried to check in and their computer was doing an audit. I had to wait until that was done before I could check in. By the time I got a key and got to my room nearly an hour had gone by. The towels were all torn from wear and tear. Since its an Extended Stay they normally ask if you need any kitchen supplies. The night clerk hadn't asked and I didn't think to ask. There wasn't a glass or cup in the room. . I went back to the desk for a glass and of course the lights were off again and no one was there. When finally I got to lay down the bed was so hard it was uncomfortable and hurt to lay on it.

Room smelled like sushi, hair from previous tenant still resided in the tub. Free breakfast consists of coffee and muffins.

Rooms are okay, they have a microwave, stove, refrigerator but no oven. Cleanliness is average. Staff are nice. A couple of restaurants within walking distance.

For an extremely cheap hotel, it was a little better than you would expect. Relatively clean and dated. The bed and pillows are not very comfortable, which is also to be expected. There is a kitchen in the roomroom. You can request pots pans. There are a few breakfast items that you can take in the morning, across from the lobby desk.

The Extended Stay America was located in a very convenient junction off of one of the more major highways going into & through Syracuse. When we checked in the staff was friendly and inviting. As it was a short visit there really were not too many needs we had to attend to. The rooms are simply laid out. Not the most comfortable bed. For a quick over night stay though it would suffice, for a more long term visit I could see this not offering the most restful or rejuvenating of sleeps. It was neat that the room came equipped with a full size fridge and two burners. That way you can save some expense on eating out every night. Forget any sort of assistance after closing hours from the front desk. Reception was a ghost town after 11pm. Over all though for a quick get away. It was still everything we needed in its simplicity.

It's a hotel. It's called Extended Stay, but our stay was quite short. I suppose it could have been extended, but it wasn't. But they do support extended stays.

The room was very spacious with in suite kitchen. Friendly staff!

The customer service at the front desk was very good. We were a bit of a pain in the butt when trying to book a room but she was very helpful and patient. Great service!

It was an average room at a reasonable price. The front staff was very friendly. Overall a good experience.

Clean, friendly staff, rooms have kitchens, beds were comforable, located right by the highway, gran and go breakfast (Kind of dissapointing), perfect for low budget lodging.

The only negative about this place is the location, there is nothing around it. No shopping, no ATM, only a few restaurants; none of which, are on site. The rooms are more than adequate, wireless does work a bit slowly. And there are plenty of electrical outlets. They seem to take in what may be homeless persons, or DSS clients. The only problem with "unrefined" guests are their manners, at times. Smoking will be done in non-smoking rooms, and they can be loud. My room came with no dishes, or cookware, I had to ask at the desk. Breakfast could be better, as well; only coffee, no herbal tea, or juice is offered as a drink. Muffins, and granola bars are just fat in disguise, but the oatmeal, and fruit are wonderful.

I asked for a non-smoking room the black man behind the counter after telling me smoking room are the only ones available. He gave me two room keys with nothing written on them and said I was all set. I looked at the man waiting for a room number, He looked up looking at me. Over a few seconds pass and I had to ask him which room number I was in, which he state 316. The next day I asked again for a non-smoking room and the same man stated they have none, I asked when people check out why didn't he hold a non-smoking room? He said he would give me a room but he does not want a room with someone already in it. Trying to wrap my head around what he just said to me, I asked the man what his computer is for? The man sensing my oncoming anger said I can get my supervisor for you? I said that would be great. He looked surprised and said she is up on the 3rd floor but does not know where she is, and will have her call my room. I went back to my room packed my things and checked out. Now a week later I'm dealing with incorrect billing, Its not like I'm trying not to pay for my stay, he just messed that up too.

Neon lighting and an HD television with no HD. Is it 1997?. No, 2014.

Very gross hotel, place had bugs stains stink and had very rude staff.

I paid $55 to stay here for one night and I will never come back. The room smelled funny and was covered in stains. The carpet was gross and the recliner was covered in dark brown stains. This place was designed to offer the bare minimum, but it was too dirty for the 2 star rating it had. To top it off, the place lost power and then had no phone or Internet service the whole night. In the morning I tried to sleep late bit the housekeeper ignored my do not disturb sign and knocked and yelled until I got up to answer the door. I then missed check out by 13 minutes (how could I know with no power for the clock? ) and they sent the bouncer to eject me. He was a very large, rude man who pounded on the door and told me to "get out". When I protested (politely) and informed him about the clock, he generously gave me 45 minutes to leave. Less time than any other hotel gives happily for late check out. He told me he would be back in 45 and then radioed the desk for the exact time. He seemed eager to catch me sticking aroud, so I left as soon as possible to avoid a likely beating. If I could rate this place lower than one star, I would.
