My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Millard room for an October Wine tasting weekend! I feel this Inn is a gem! First of all, the pictures online do not do it justice. It is a beautiful very well taken care of historical home that has been refurbished back to its original fire places, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and beautifully decorated! The Millard Room was stunning and very well appointed with top of the line towels, linens, bedding and everything we needed for the weekend! The purple walls with dark wood features and carved sleigh bed were so aesthetically pleasing! The room was very spacious which is hard to find in old bnbs and there was a sufficient amount of outlets near the beside tables and around the room which can also be very hard to find when staying in old homes! The mattress was a great combination of soft and firm and I slept better than in my own bed at home! This home and the rooms are clean! I didn't even see a spot of dust anywhere! And the room, house, bedding and linens all smelled so clean and fresh! The innkeeper Wendy is so down to earth and accommodating and genuinely wants to make you feel at home! Wendy's breakfasts are delicious and we appreciated the cookies at night with complimentary water, teas, coffee and juices! There is a fire pit and wood out back that you are free to use. The view of the mountains and farmland are stunning and it is a nice quiet area! It is a 10 minute drive to wineries on the east side of Keuka, 15 minutes to Penn Yan and 15 minutes to wineries on the west side of Seneca. It's a great little spot in the middle of the 2 lakes! We cannot wait to go back and visit Wendy and her sweet, friend dog Bella again! 🍷
