I have no idea why this is listed as a 2 star hotel. Great staff, Great customer service, recently remodeled, very clean, great breakfast. The king bed is very comfortable. The quietest air conditioning unit ever. Would definitely stay there again. Great job to you and your staff!

The hotel/motel is clean and provides you great hospitality. The hotel/motel owner is very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. The staffs were very helpful. The hotel provides you very clean rooms. Stayed 2 nights in non — smoking room. The cafeteria of hotel/motel was great. When I say was great (i mean it :) ) Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this hotel to everyone. You wont regret, just be there:)

The location was great. Right in the middle of all the places we had to go this weekend. The room was nice and clean. They had great customer service and were very friendly at all times. This was a very welcoming establishment.

Excellent. The rooms have been updated. The beds are high, makes it tough to get on them. They are very comfortable though. I would suggest bringing a fan since the A/C unit is near the bathroom. Large screen TV, Wi-Fi, refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast is free as well. Great location, close to many attractions.

Rodeway offered great prices for a pleasant stay. I took a trip up to Ithaca to visit some of the nearby state parks, and Rodeway had the best prices. My room was modern and clean, with a comfortable, King-sized bed and a large tub/shower. The continental breakfast was also surprisingly good. All the staff I interacted with were kind and helpful. It is close enough to the city where it only takes a few minutes to reach by car, but far enough away to offer a quiet stay. Robert Treman State Park is only five minutes away, too! Overall, Rodeway was a great place to stay at a low price.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but there was black mold on the ceiling. I brought this up as I checked out and the management told me that it was aware of the issue and had not yet been able to fix it, but that it would be fixed soon. Aside from the mold, the room itself was nice and it was reasonably priced. The hotel is also close to Buttermilk Falls and other gorges, which was very convenient.

I had to visit Ithaca to attend a funeral and was looking online for a hotel. The first hotel that came up in the search was the Rodeway Inn. At first I went past it to the other chain hotels in the area. I was surprised at how expensive the hotels were. I then looked again at Rodeway Inn and thought that for the price of the room it really can't be that good. Then I started reading all the great reviews and decided that I would give it a try. I am very happy to say that the hotel was just great. The room was super clean, the shower was great and the bed very comfortable. The room was just as good as any other of the big named hotels in the area. I later found out that I paid $100 less for my room! And as a plus the breakfast was also just as good as any of the other "fancier" places. If you're going to Ithaca stay at the Rodeway Inn. You won't be disappointed!

Great service! The rooms were comfortable and quiet. It had a great view. When we had travel issues and had to stay and extra night it was simple, fast and efficient to book another room. Very friendly staff. Overall great experience.

The room was clean, the bed and pillows and sheets comfortable, the AC worked nicely, and the shower had great water pressure. The front desk staff were great too, friendly and accommodating. We came with our dog who seemed ok in the room and there was a nice outside area for him to do his business. Glad we stayed here. Affordable and comfortable.

My two family members and I really enjoyed our stay at your Rodeway Inn during part of my graduation celebration several days ago. We liked the hot breakfast, and the various other foods offered. The staff members were very gracious, attentive and helpful. We look forward to returning sometime.

Great people to work with. I had to cancel for a medical reason, and they refunded my money, no questions asked. The place is immaculate. I have no idea why this is listed as a "two star" hotel. It's not. They spent a fortune on renovations, and I wish them the very best of luck.

I traveled to Ithaca, and I stayed at Rodeway Inn. I was enjoy to stay here. The room which I got, was clean and fresh. I had a big bed, and it was very comfortable. Also, the room has new TV, new furniture, and white towels, very clean. Also, I liked design of the room, it’s nice green accent wall. The breakfast had a good selection, and everything was fresh and tasty. It is very good place to stay. I am satisfy.

Modest motel, but newly remodeled and very clean and quiet. The heater made just about zero noise; it was the quietest of any hotel in the past couple of years. The tub had an excellent texture for non-slip standing in the shower. We had an "inside" room, nice and dark, with a curtained window in a separate area. Good price. We would definitely stay there again.

Really excellent motel. Out of the busy center of Ithaca near Buttermilk Falls… Total make over was well done. Nicely decorated rooms. ALL new furnishings and amenities. I am particularly happy that the sheet smell SO fresh and clean. The staff is SUPER nice. It's my new GO-to place in Ithaca.

Family run operation. You know where they live in the back of the property. Nice clean and good rate close enough to colleges waterfalls etc. Indian family who are more American than some native born folks. Hard working all hands on deck style operation. They are making the American dream happen one day at a time. Breakfast was good rooms were big. Wishing this family and hotel the very best.

Pleasantly surprised on how brand new the rooms were. Apparently they had a complete renovation. The staff is very nice. The location is on the main road that leads to shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this Rodeway Inn to anyone visiting Ithaca.

I wasn’t sure about this place initially. I read mixed reviews on it and pulling up I was nervous. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was greeted as soon as I pulled up in my car, ironically because the front desk person must have just arrived too. Once I was inside and checking in the gentleman who helped me (I can’t remember his name) was very kind and welcoming. He reassured me that I was going to enjoy my stay and advised me of all the perks of the hotel, including the free breakfast. He made the check in process flawless and I felt welcomed. Once I got to my room, I was extremely pleased. It was clean, smelt good and was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was pretty. Over all, whenever I come into Ithaca for work with the ambulance service down the road, I will be staying here.

We were looking for a “dog friendly” place to stay near Ithaca. Decided to give this business a try, fully expecting “dog friendly” to not necessarily equal “people friendly”… but WOW!, were we WRONG! Kudos to the owners for the fantastic remodeling job they have done! Place was clean, very nicely remodeled and extremely affordable for a hotel so close to Ithaca. I would stay here again with or without a pet! Also impressed that owners questioned / interviewed us about our pet BEFORE booking our reservation. They respectfully made it very clear that they were open to accepting well-behaved pets and pet owners BUT very much respected the wishes/concerns of their non-pet-owning guests. The only thing keeping this from a 5/5 was the outside cleanup needed from renovations… but no reason to doubt that this will occur once the weather breaks!

Excellent experience. We paid about $70 and it was comparable to many hotels I've paid $100 or more for. Seems recently renovated and everything was very clean. The king size bed was firm enough to sleep well. Breakfast was hot and filling. Service at the desk was polite. Even the water in the tap was tasteless and way better than my water even at home. Great value and I would return.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay… this place is not it! I was awakened by a yelping dog which was not with a "registered guest", people blasting their music and slamming doors. You open the door and theirs your bed. So whatever conversation is going on outside your room feels like their having it by your bedside. And let's talk about the couple that came in at 12:43 am and decided to argue until 2:12 and talk until 3:29… how do I know the exact time you ask? IT'S 3:41 AND I'M TYPING THIS REVIEW! In my humble opinion… pay the extra $15-$20 and stay in a hotel room where the walls are not paper thin, you're not forced to listen to multiple conversations and people act like that had some level of home training! I wish I could give this place a fifth of a star. :-\

I stayed here 1/12/18 and this property was awesome. The rooms were very clean and had all the conveniences you could ask for, including free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was very good and the front desk and breakfast area was very clean. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating in every way! I will be staying here every time that I stay in the Ithaca area.

Great value! Newly remodeled, very clean, comfortable bed. No bells and whistles, just basic hotel room. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Just out of town, so a nice quiet atmosphere. At half the cost of other local hotels this was the perfect value.

Highly recommended! Brand new guest rooms. Complete with fridge, microwave, flat screen and great shower.! Comfortable beds and pillows. Management superb. Great breakfast also. Have stayed at this Rodeway 3 times never an issue.

Good rooms at a reasonable price. Staff was courteous and helpful. The place was undergoing renovations when I visited but it was not a problem. The complimentary breakfast was the icing on the cake.

Worst hotel experience of my life. Checked in hours after check in time to be told most of the hotel the electric was off due to the construction that I wasn't told about when booking. They switched my room and when I walked in the room was shaking from construction workers drilling and hammering on the other side of the wall, you could see them and they could see me through the inadequate blinds. Changed my room again to another under construction room and the workers were rude and loud as well. I awoke at between 7 and 8 am to loud drilling and hammering right outside of my new room, where the staff knew I was staying. The hotel office was under construction as well, no breakfast. The Wi-Fi did not work for me in my room either. A giant waste of money. Terrible experience, I would never go to this specific hotel again. When I left feedback, I got a rude response from the general manager arguing about the facts of my stay. So I decided to leave a public, honest review of my experience. Stay away.

We have always stayed here when visiting our son at college. The owners have been great with prices and accommodating our arrival times. Now we are excited to stay in the new rooms as well. I got a chance to stay in one of the few rooms that were open at the end of August and I loved it. Fridge, TV, hairdryer, everything was new and good quality. VERY spacious, great bed, nice bathroom touches. I like the added hallway outside the room to keep the chill out in the winter! We like the fact that we can do Ithaca all day then be just slightly outside the hub bub to sleep at night. We plan on bringing the family up for a hockey game later this fall and even asking about far future reservations for graduation.

Place has potential. Ithaca hotels will always be busy thanks to the Cornell University. Cute renovation, good bed. They honored do not disturb sign and later checkout request, since I'm not a morning person. If they figure out the soundproofing between the hallway and rooms place is good for under hundred dollars a night.

I made a confirmed reservation in May for July 28. One week prior to my stay I received a phone call that the hotel is under renovation and wont reopen till mid august. They had to know this way before. Totally irresponsible. I am on a bike trip and have no place to stay that night.

On the outskirts of town, so it's quiet but close to where you want to be. Clean. Newly remodeled.

Just simply old and dirty. Seems they would be more cautious of this seems they have another (cleaner & nicer) hotel right next door and another directly across the street.

It is in a very convenient location for touring colleges and going to other tourist locations. The room I stayed in is very large and comfortable, with two large beds, a sofa bed, a television, a refrigerator, a microwave, a fully functioning bathroom, a small eating area, a nice porch, and good lighting and air conditioning. The service was excellent, with staff bringing us any necessities on the spot, and the breakfast served was exceptional. Overall it has been a great experience so far and I hope for that to continue.

Found it expensive for such an unkempt place. At least there were no visible bug infestations.

Yes I stayed there two weeks ago in room 108 I've stayed in plenty of motels cheaply. However this room I got bit by BED BUGS. Yes that's rite next morning I got up took a shower notices huge itchy bites all over. I called the front desk the person screamed cusses an hung up. So I reported them to the health department BE WARNED.

This is a nice place fair price good management. Wi-Fi, breakfast.

The man at the front desk was so kind and the breakfast was pretty good for an inexpensive hotel. You definitely get what you paid for.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay! I got out of the ER yesterday and wanted a cozy place nearby to spend the night — — this place was it. Very cozy room and wonderful bathroom. Sheets were clean and blankets+pillows were as well. The bathroom had complementary soap and shampoo, and ample towels for your convience. Many TV stations were accessible, including HBO! We watched a lovely movie and cranked the heat and fell asleep. 5/5! Wonderful stay.

Good value at $65/night. Paid another $25 for the dog. I am glad I didn't read the other reviews before booking… they would have frightened me off and sent me to the Holiday Inn. In room 108, saw no signs of insect life, slept well. Awoke to an OK breakfast including those half-moon shaped egg and cheese omelettes that you heat in the microwave. I think Rodeway takes over tired motels and refurbishes them to something like a modern standard. It's not the lap of luxury, but then again, you're not spending a fortune.

Clean, huge rooms with huge bathrooms and more than reasonably priced! Highly recommended!
