Absolutely beautiful inside and super friendly staff. Bailey is awesome and adorable!

Positives: I enjoyed the live entertainment under the tent, as it is slim pickings with the current pandemic limiting where you might find live music in Rochester. Great idea to have a tent outside, so people can enjoy the music & dinner in a socially distant environment. Negatives: MANY!
1. The stage placement was not conducive to a good listening experience. It should have been placed the long way with the music headed outward not bouncing off a brickwall. 2. Service was HORRIBLE! We waited for 45 minutes to be greeted, which we had to hunt down a server & beg to be waited on! Drinks took 1 hour to receive & dinner took 2 hours! The tent was not full with several empty tables in front of the stage. Tables around us waited up to 3 & 1/2 hours for their meals. Totally unacceptable. If our kids weren't playing on the stage, we would have walked out! 3. The food arrived room temp & dried out!

Went this past weekend for the first time and I loved it. Great customer service and atmosphere. Out wait staff was awesome and very attentive. Steak was seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be back!

I wanted to spread the word about an amazing person we met when we went to a nursing function. Her name is Dena De Leo and she was incredibly warm and inviting when I approached her about having a Murder Mystery Event at the Hotel. She was easy to talk to and welcomed the ideas without hesitation. Her turnaround to getting this event up and running was what every boss would want… efficient and productive. She made things happen and I for one, am grateful because we will be one of the fortunate ones to have gotten a ticket.
We have a small business and would welcome an employee with this work ethic. It is a dying trait.

The Inn on Broadway is a beautiful, elegant boutique hotel located right here in the heart of Downtown Rochester, NY — my husband and I stayed there recently for our anniversary and found the rooms to be spacious, elegantly appointed with period furniture and a luxurious large bathroom. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the dinner at Tournedos Steakhouse was amazing (dessert was fantastic — carrot cake-cheesecake! ). If you are looking for a lovely place to stay or a beautiful venue for your wedding, shower or special occasion, I highly recommend The Inn on Broadway!

Elegant, vintage, Beautiful and clean with exceptional service. Tournedos is a lovely fine dining experience. Stephanie will take very good care of you at the bar. Doug has a wonderful service presence and the ambiance is delightful, Warm and welcoming. Close walking distance to Spot Coffee, Venetos and the East Ave nightlife. Close proximity to Red Wings baseball game in summer and Rochester Amerks Hockey in the Fall/Winter. Geva Theatre is also very close for your entertainment.

The Inn of Broadway is by far one of my favorite places to stay and eat absolutely beautiful and the suites are so perfect everyone a little different so your never bored with the same place. Being a Weddjng photographer I also get to enjoy this darling place as a venue for reception simply perfect to say the least.

My son and I had very enjoyable lunch at The Inn on Broadway. The waitress was very attentive and accommodating, which made it special. When you want fine dinning at a historic beautiful restraint and hotel that would be the place to go.

Got a "Luxury Room" with my fiancee for our 10yr anniversary and it was beautiful! They all come with a jacuzzi or soaking tub AND a fireplace. Also had a little kitchenette, complete with dishes and silverware for 2, wine glasses, wine bottle opener and coffee. The bathroom had a HUGE shower with a built in bench, very nice! Nicest hotel in Rochester! I read reviews saying the staff was rude and mean, let me just say that was NOT my experience. Everyone was super friendly and very accommodating! Five stars! I wish I could give 10! Such a beautiful and clean hotel!

Absolutely beautiful room. The amenities were wonderful, my only complaint was how loud everything in the hall seemed to be. Someone was vacuuming very early in the morning in the hall and it sounded like they were in our room. Old furnishings with an updated flare made the room quite enjoyable. Would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and the food at tournedos was fairly good. The creme brulee was not set and we had to send it back, but the steak was delicious.

My husband and I had dinner @ Tournedos. Our table servers, Michael & Sara were excellent. Very nice environment. Food was delicious. If you are looking to go somewhere for a very special dinner or occasion this is the place, but be sure to view menu on line because it is not your everyday menu & prices.

My son and his wife got married at the Inn and they also had their reception the same day. The room was beautiful. The food was delicious. The staff was on top of everything. We even had guests play the piano in the lobby. The Innv was perfect for their big day.

From the moment I walked in, the staff at The Inn on Broadway were attentive, available, and incredibly polite. From the front desk and room service and valet. The room was fantastically adorned in classic, retro styling and smelled clean and felt well kept. My experience only got better from that point on. Conversations with Sam, Anthony, and Allegra were genuinely authentic and provided an unexpected joy on my trip. This hotel is full of very interesting people. Tournedos, the restaurant and bar in the hotel provided me with one of the best dry-aged steak dinners I've ever had and the bartender and wait staff were professional, courteous, and on-the-spot with their service. Over the course of the few days I was there, I had a minor issue that would have resulted in a big problem for an event; who would have thought something so simple would have such serious implications? At any rate, the front desk pulled a string or two and helped me sort it out and pretty much saved the day! Like I said, VIP treatment the whole time. Couldn't be happier with the experience and highly recommend this establishment for anyone staying in the Greater Rochester area.

Good rooms and a nice/historic building. It's a really nice place to stay though it is a little pricey.

I love this place, a boutique hotel in downtown Rochester. Every room is somewhat different, which gives it a bit o' charm if you are a frequent visitor. It is a retroactively a hotel, so if you if you want every convenience at hand, you may be a bit flumoxed — outlets aren't always where you'd like them, for example. The staff is friendly and professional: I've yet to have a bad encounter in many visits. They have Keurig coffee makers in the rooms and serve a decent breakfast in the morning, but we nearly always find a local eatery, which abound in this area. If you want a romantic date night, have dinner at Tournedos, a fabulous steak & seafood restaurant adjacent to the lobby.

The rooms, the restaurant and the management and staff are very friendly and all around amazing, even the bathrooms are amazing! I love tornados the restaurant they have downstairs, it's a very fancy, very affordable establishment and the food is amazing.

Inn on Broadway (Venue/Catering/Room Block/Event Coordination) : The Inn on Broadway was the perfect place for my husband and I to get married. We had a wonderful wedding and the ballroom is absolutely gorgeous. Despite the venue being perfect for our needs, we had both positive and negative experiences with the staff. The Positive: -All-inclusive venue with catering, food tasting, wedding coordination, set up & take down, room block, bridal suite, and valet parking all handled by the Inn on Broadway. -Alyssa was very detailed even in the middle of planning her own wedding! -Comprehensive pre-wedding planning meetings -A comprehensive “Banquet Event Order” document provided to us which we shared with other vendors so everyone was on the same page -Alyssa and Jessica coordinated many aspects of our wedding effortlessly The Negative: -Before our final wedding meeting with Alyssa, we were supposed to receive the ballroom table layout to plan our seating arrangements, but we received that document less than an hour before the meeting so we didn’t have a chance to complete it or work through it with the coordinators. We completed it after the meeting only to find out that the layout diagram only included 14 tables instead of the 15 tables we agreed to. I had to draw in a 15th table, not knowing where it would be set up. Because of this my parents ended up being seated further away than I had wanted. -Alyssa arrived late on the day of our wedding.

Always a wonderful and special time at Tournedos restaurant at the Inn on Broadway. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the valet service and once inside the coat check … the hostess is pleasant as well. We began the night in the small but quaint bar for a drink while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Bar is stocked with top shelf liquor and many local and small breweries on tap. The dining area is wonderful. Servers work in teams and as such, there is better service. Our meal was expertly cooked and as always I look forward to my return visit. One more item … be sure to save room for the dessert cart … Amazing!

Mildly disappointed on a recent visit… Our 3rd visit. They have changed the bar area from a nice library like setting to a room with a few overflow booths for dining. Not very comfortable. We ordered 2 ribeye steaks, one dry aged one Wagyu. Both came sliced and a bit too charred. Couldn't tell the difference between the two… Sliced! Sides were not bad but small. Pricey for the experience.

Beautiful place. Nice people. But the food was average. We had a large party and they served meat on the plate with no garnish, just a hunk of meat. The vegetables were served in a large bowl to pass around family style.

The venue is nice. It is definitely top tier but the large gathering space leaves a little to be desired.

Played here this past weekend (Kalifornia Entertainment) for a wedding and it was incredible. The venue itself is beautiful and timeless. The staff was extraordinary, fun, friendly and on-point with everything. The food was marvelous and delectable. If you're looking for a first-rate and transcendent venue for a wedding or event, look no further because this is your place!

This place has great service, very attentive. They put on my sister's wedding beautifully. And the wedding photos we ended up with at the hotel… we're amazing… Hope to be back sometime soon… definitely worth the price.

Beautiful historical building. Clean friendly environment.

We just had our wedding at the Inn, and I can’t say enough good things! We planned for over a year and a half, and all from out of state. Alyssa made the planning so easy despite the distance and time difference. Always quick to answer my questions (no matter how ridiculous or needy they might be) and do much of the legwork for me in regards to rentals, she was so much fun to work with and all of the staff made our day go flawlessly. I searched endlessly all over Rochester for potential venues, and I have to say that there are not many places that offer the charm, elegance, and value that the Inn offers. If you are considering the Inn for your wedding, you have no need to look any further. Alyssa, and her sister Jessica, along with the whole staff were amazing to work with, and I had no trouble letting go and putting the flow of the evening into their hands! Don’t miss this amazing venue… and the beautiful sunset rooftop photos you get along with it!

We attend an Aveda fall forum every October and they always do a wonderful job. It is a beautiful location.

One of the best Ribeyes I've had. Staff was super professional and polished. Appetizers were large for the price which is always nice. Decent wine selection but quite a bit over priced. Overall, I'd only go back if someone else was paying but I'd go back.

Amazing meal and service at Tournedos, well appointed room it was perfection! This one makes our top 10 list for sure.

Our wedding reception at the Inn on Broadway was absolute perfection! Alyssa and Jessica went above and beyond throughout our entire planning process. The food was amazing and the night was perfect. Our guests loved the food and enjoyed their stay at the hotel. We would highly recommend this amazing venue!

Hands down, one of the best wedding reception venues in town. Alyssa and Jessica were amazing to work with. They were extremely professional and responsive every step of the way, even though I was managing planning from long distances. They worked closely with me to make the food, drinks, and entertainment just right. The night of my wedding flowed perfectly thanks to their behind-the-scenes work and planning. The decor was stunning, the timeline of events moved perfectly, I was able to relax and have the time of my life, and there was even food and champagne waiting for us in our room at the end of the night! Thank you Alyssa and Jessica and thank you to the Inn on Broadway for making my wedding day perfect and and for hosting so many out-of-town guests with such efficiency!

Attended a wedding reception, the staff was excellent and the food was great. I would consider looking into this place for any future events.

The location is very convenient for anything downtown. Eastman is 2 blocks away, and the bars at East & Alexander are 3 blocks away. The room we stayed in was on the smaller side, but still included all of the basics, except for a fridge. There are larger rooms available that have fireplaces and sitting rooms, and we're planning on trying them out on our next visit to Rochester.

We booked the Inn on Broadway for our wedding, and oh my goodness, Alyssa and Jessica are the dream team! Every step of the way they were by our side helping us plan, and on our wedding day, the venue was perfect, as was the food, drinks, and service! I could not have asked for a better team! We had both our ceremony and reception there, and the whole team made our vision come to life! Our complimentary suite was a dream, and they brought up left overs for us to snack on that night and the next morning :) I even called and asked about which of the food left in our fridge was gluten free the next morning (I have Celiacs) and despite it being extremely early, they had found out which food I could eat within 10 minutes! Unbeatable service. I cannot recommend the Inn on Broadway enough!

I went to the Inn on Broadway for a company Christmas party and it was my first time there. The stuff was magnificent and the food was delicious. I'm planning a date night there so I can enjoy great service again.

Beautiful, old location for a wedding. Carolyn, Will, and Eli (Elijah? ) were great bar tenders and servers. Great service and free valet parking!

Inn on Broadway was easy to get to. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and bathroom was spacious. I have a husband that is 6'4 and sharing a bathroom space can get quite tight. We stayed here for a wedding and the room where the reception was held was beautiful. The food, it was amazing! My husband and I will try the restaurant in the near future.

The restaurant was a little slow for a Friday. But we had fantastic drinks and food. One of our Steak's was under cooked and they promptly removed the steak and literally walked right back out with a perfect cooked one. A+

Came to the bar for food and drinks during the Rochester Jazz Festival. The good (seafood salad) drinks and service were impeccable! Prices great tool.

Beautiful hotel and everyone was incredibly pleasant and professional. The only knock would be that they need to upgrade their AC.

My band was hired by a wedding party to play at the reception hosted at the inn on Broadway. As someone who was working and not a guest, I was afforded the opportunity to work with the staff at the hotel in a professional capacity. They were professional, helpful and efficient, and very good at their jobs. Not only did they provide great help and assistance to the paying guests, but they also afforded wonderful professional courtesy to myself and my bandmates.

The restaurant is phenomenal and the decor is gorgeous, antique but modern. One of my favorite places in Rochester.

Stayed in one of the suites with the 2 person bathtub. This is such a warm, comfy, cozy room. We loved it. The bed & pillows were the best yet! Will be going back for another anniversary weekend.

Rooms were clean, staff was supper nice, just a nivery play to go and stay. Will be back.

My wife and I held our wedding reception at the Inn on Broadway and we cannot say enough great things about it. In reality, it was the exceptional work of Alyssa and Jessica that made the entire process so seamless. We felt incredibly comfortable as they addressed all of our wants and needs, including food, setup, sound, the overall schedule, etc. They answered numerous questions and were always willing to make arrangements to ensure that our special day was just that — special. Perfectly planned, perfectly executed. Also, if you've never tried their food or seen their distinctive rooms (every one is different), you should — both are really on a different level. This worked out particularly well for us because for food, they had many steak and chicken options, which we appreciated; and for the rooms, they had enough to accommodate all of our out-of-town guests (of which there were several since neither of us are from Rochester). Mike.

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception here on 8/1/15. We were able to plan all of it from out of state with the help of our parents and staff at The Inn. Alyssa and Jessica were more than helpful with us as we are both very particular about things (we prefer to be called Mr. And Mrs. Zilla). Everything about the evening was wonderful. The ballroom was set up perfectly, the food was delicious, the rooms inside of the inn are breathtaking, and the staff was more than helpful. The only minor thing was that the ballroom was very, very hot even with air conditioning on during our reception. Other than that it truly is a magnificent place to have a wedding reception, and I applaud all of the staff for a job well done. The Inn on Broadway is definitely one of Rochester's hidden gems.

Beautiful historic hotel in one of the best locations in downtown. Close to all the coffee shops you could dream of — Rented a Luxury room for a girls-night-out to just sit by the fireplace and drink some wine. My only real complaint is that they rooms that they have on the SITE are not *exactly* like the room you might get. I was expecting a sort of red/orange girly get-away room, but ended up in a dark green, wooden, masculine room with really low lighting. Hot tub still worked, fireplace still worked, wine was still fantastic. So I don't have much to complain about. I just really wish that I had known ahead of time because I was sort of let-down. Oh well. Next time I will know.

Had an awesome relaxing stay here! The room with the fireplace is a very nice room, & the roomy four head shower is to die for! Loved too that our room had the door around a corner but that may have been because we were the last room at the end of the hall! Staff was very nice & helpful as well! Only downfall was their parking lot is small but they also have a restaurant so they use the same lot for both.

Words cannot even express how wonderful my wedding reception was at the Inn on Broadway. I can honestly say that I owe all of that to Ryan, the event coordinator. The inn is such a cozy venue that offers class and sophistication to your wedding day. Since my husband and I planned our wedding from out of state (we grew up in Rochester) we were constantly in touch with Ryan via e-mail. He was always available for any question or request that we had. He worked with us on creating a "signature cocktail" and kept us informed throughout the entire night on the timeline of things (when dinner was going to be served, when cake should be cut, etc. ). We had a wedding planner, but did not even rely on her the night of because Ryan was on top of everything. Ryan and his team set up the reception beautifully. The food was absolutely amazing! I recommend the strip steak, salmon, and hunter's chicken. The Inn was able to set up a room block for our guests and offered them a discounted rate for the weekend of our wedding. We had about 25 of our guests stay overnight at the Inn and were delighted to hear that the inn offered a complimentary breakfast the next morning. It was such a nice touch to be able to see our guests the next morning for breakfast and spend time with them before they needed to catch their flights. My husband and I were given a complimentary room the night of the wedding which was absolutely beautiful. There was not a detail missed!

We got one of the luxury suites for a night and it was beautiful. Huge soaking tub, coffee maker, fireplace. Really lovely.

We tried to visit the Inn and made our appointment, but the person was too busy to see us and sent another, unexperienced girl to just show us the room. I asked how many people to a table and she said "8 or 10, if they're not fat. " then laughed. We were so disappointed with the service we got as this was our top choice for a reception area.

My husband surprised me with dinner reservations at Tournedos. They were very accommodating to our 1st year anniversary dinner. Flowers on the table, wine in a chiller, and exceptional service. I ordered the filet mignon and my husband got the surf and turf. My filet melted in my mouth and the lobster tail was HUGE! The side of truffle mashed potatoes was delicious. If you like wine then you will love their selection. The wine list is a 3-ring binder full of selections from all over the world. The atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful; wine bottles, large paintings, gum wood trim, roman shades, very classic. This was definitely a first class experience.
