Bar restaurant closed. Hot tub looks like it’s full of pee! We pick this place because the pictures on their website looks attractive included bar and restraint. It’s nothing and not worth your bucks for 170 a night. They won’t give me discount for false advertising The four door keys did not work so had to go back to desk to get another key!

It’s a beautiful Territorial Design & Location.
Are bathroom needs updating and the toilet is old and the lid. The shower tub was slippery. We have 2 pictures in are room that were the same?
One wall needed paint. Besides that we enjoyed are stay.
The pool spa etc. Are still closed and the
Rooftop Bar & Grill. The back door was shared open, we tried to close it. No Bellman
Either. We found a cart thou. You go dnstairs
To fill your ice bucket.

I felt like I received great value for the price. The views were impressive and the location was perfect. I will definitely stay here again and will put my out of town guests here as well.

Room are nice, food is good, beer and drinks are great… but none of this mater if you don't have awesome people like the Lodge has. From the girl cleaning the room, to the front desk, to the bartender.

What a beautiful place this is. We were traveling from Ohio to San Diego and had decided to stay a night here. What a great hotel with all the amenities needed. Plus downtown is just a shuttle ride away with a wonderful driver. Great places to eat and enjoy. The old Church is incredible. So much to do. Plan on a full day of activities. Have fun.

Yes the front desk staff Ashley S. Was very helpful alway had a smile, great person the housekeeper was nice. I have enjoyed my staff have no complaints. Plan to stay here when I come back. Thanks to Ashley.

The staff was friendly. Unfortunately EVERYTHING else was AWFUL. Filthy carpets throughout, clogged sinks, almost unlocking window (I was one the first floor, a little wiggling and it could be opened while locked). The "heated" outdoor pool was freezing and the hot tub was luke warm which was too bad because it could actually be a nice area with the tiniest bit of care. I wanted to take a run and was told the surrounding neighborhood was too unsafe. Absolute fail. Oh, when we were leaving the hallway ceiling was leaking… no one was around to tell at the front desk just as when I called the front desk the night before because of dogs incessantly barking, no answer. Ever. Don't do it, this place is a complete dump. It should cost $50/night. I almost forgot! The "complimentary" water bottles were REUSED! GROSS!

The customer service was excellent. Comfortable beds. Would of liked to have 2 queen beds but not available.

Worst experience ever. System was down when we checked in so we waited 45 in line. Then the king room we paid for was suddenly sold out, so they offered us a double. We took it seeing as most hotels are sold out. Then we get to our room which is occupied by someone else. Back to front desk where we asked to speak to manager (with a nose ring) and we are still waiting 20+ minutes for him to come up. Ridiculous… never again.

Awesome shows, got to see La Emi Flamenco. Such an awesome show! Have also seen Maria Benitez there three times in prior years. Good service & friendly staff. They have a great bar & food.

I love the architecture! The pool is perfect. I’ve been here five times and each time had a different style room. The rooms were clean and comfy and the decor is cool. The location is just a short drive into the historic section of Santa Fe. There are so many places to visit, from museums to outdoor markets.

Only been there for a couple of pool parties but the staff are very attentive and helpful.

I received the most amazing pedicure from Moreen Gomez today. It was the best one I’ve had in my entire life; and I’ve had many the room was calm, quiet and clean. I will definitely be back. Thank you for providing quality service.

This is a little gem very close to the fun parts of Sandra Fe! Amazing decor, very friendly and helpful staff and beautiful Mountain View’s. Their staff even offered to clean off my windshield after a snowstorm. The restaurant had a limited breakfast selection but still had great food. Overall I was very impressed and it’s an incredible value for the money.

The rooms are a bit dated but maybe that is the style. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. Danny and Ginger (shuttle drivers) were by far the best part about the stay. Both are friendly and extremely helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return to see them.

Spent one night here with family of four in a room with two twin beds, which was a bit small but good value for money. The hotel has a nice feel, the room was nicely done and clean, beds were comfortable. Big plusses are that it's close to the center of Santa Fe (we walked it in about 20 minutes), and they provide a free drop off and pickup service. Our driver Danny was great and provided a lot of info on the history and surroundings during our drive. And lastly, the outdoor swimming pool is great to relax for a bit.

We have had our church's women's retreat at this location two years in a row. It is a nice hotel. They go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Especially, Israel, he always ensures we have what we need. We enjoy our time spent here.

It's a great looking place, but don't look too hard. No exhaust fans in bathrooms, so the whole room gets humid after a shower, and stinky after a poop. Mold on the ceiling above the shower. Restaurant has very limited hours, but even then is subject to the whims of whoever is running it. The restaurant was supposed to be open on two different occasions when we stayed there, but they put a note on the door saying they were closed. And the bar is only open for four hours a day. 4pm to 8pm. I've never heard of a bar closing at 8pm. Should be at least 10pm or later. The saving grace was our bartender Michelle. She was awesome!

This is well decorated and decent hotel. Staff was friendly. Rooms were cozy. There is a nice enough pool and hot tub in courtyard. Some things that could be improved would be the lack of a mini-fridge or at least have more than one ice machine in the whole hotel. The pool also needed to be cleaned as leaves had blown in, and the hot tub was hot, but it had no bubbles.

Originally a lovely facility but inadequate maintenance. Even ragged flags flying in front should respectfully be replaced. Overall shabby. Very nice staff and room size wonderful; plus quiet. But even though booked for 4 people, only enough towels/sheets for two. Very little attention to details. Could be first class with proper management directed to those details that make guests feel special and appreciated.

It’s not my imagination… parts of this property need attention. Our suite was on the backside of the propery. Trash can was overflowing in the parking lot for the two days we stayed. The doors to rooms on this side of propery are in need of paint and repair. Porches dirty. Our welcome mat was in shreds. Not a good first impression. We were in a suite that smelled like mold and air freshener. Blinds were very dusty and there were scuff marks on the walls. The most irritating thing was many of the electrical outlets didn’t work! There was inadequate lighting in the living area. Only decent lighting was above the bed and in the bath. The linens on the bed were lovely but the king mattress was totally worn out. We rolled to the middle. Not good! Baths were clean and linens were nice. Loved the decor. We asked, upon arrival, for missing linens and water. Those were provided quickly. Water bottles in the room did not have sealed lids… what’s up with that? Of coarse we didn’t drink them. Have to ask if they’re being reused? Nice facade tho.

I knew I was taking a chance based upon the mixed reviews but given that this is a Heritage Hotels & Resorts Property, I thought it would be better than it was. Due to some unexpected expenses I had to cancel our planned vacation and decided to do a staycation with my kids instead. Upon arrival the door lock did not work and we could not get into our room. We had to wait for maintenance to replace the unit and even then it was temperamental. The amenities (shampoo, showe…r gel, water, snacks) that you pay $15.00 a day for for were not in the room (which is problematic when you're already IN the shower). I called the front desk and was told that I would have to wait as the person with the keys to the locker was not there. My daughter forgot her toothbrush… they were out of them but I could drive to the Albertsons about a mile away or wait until tomorrow. Also missing were cups for the coffee maker and coffee/creamer/sugar. The room was rather dark and the lamp shades were falling apart. Minimal light in the bathroom and no ventilation. Room turned very late the next day (not really a big deal) expect for the fact that again the amenities (water & snacks) were not in the rooms and had to go ask. Housekeeping did swap out the empty bottles for the full ones we finally got from the night before. Pool area is in serious need of repair.

The toilet did not flush well. Some of the entrance walls have markings and the carpets look worn. There's a sign on the exterior entrance doors that say they will be locked at nine. On two different nights the doors were absolutely not locked. The second night I had to ask for a roll of toilet tissue. You have to go pretty far, near the lobby, in order to get ice, candy, snacks. We were less than impressed. The Southwest charm does not merit comfort nor basic modern upkeep. I would not go back.

I can tell that this used to be a pretty swanky place, but a lot of it seems neglected and in desperate need of updates. Our room smells like a mix of chemicals and urine. There are a lot of weeds everywhere, and the interiors are a little too rustic. The beds are clean and comfortable, and the pool area is really nice. The staff is friendly. The feel of the place reminds me of The Grand Budapest Hotel when the hotel is in disrepair and decline. Whoever owns this property needs to really step it up! It could be quite grand again.

Very nice hotel. Spanish and Indian decor. Very cozy. Keurig coffee maker and several types of coffee and tea also in your room. Love the decor! And the the restaurant is fabulous. Beautiful view up on a hill. Shuttle takes you to lots of locations in Santa fe!

I was there for a reception and then moved to the bar. The reception space was very nice and well-appointed. I didn't drink at the bar but I was there for about an hour and everyone that was drinking seemed happy with their drinks and the service. The location of the hotel and the views are fantastic.

Hotel was awesome! Loved having a full service restaurant available. The shuttle service was excellent! The driver, Donnie, took us on a extra tour of the area explaining the history of Santa Fe including architectural styles. There was also a live flamenco performance that was excellent. Having all of these services and entertainment options close really made the stay extraordinary. Room rates and comfort of the room were also top notch. Highly recommended!

It's an OK hotel, the room has everything you would expect but for me it didn't really feel comfortable. I stayed in the part that is detached from the main hotel and felt like the room was huge but didn't have enough furniture to fill it. The TV was too small for the distance it was from the bed and sofa. The room was very dark even with all the lights on. There wasn't even soap in the dispenser to shower. The hotel's staff is great and the public areas around the hotel look nice.

Stayed 2 nights with my fiance and pups. They have a fantastic hosPETality package for if you are travelling with furry family members. The room was beautiful, and the shuttle service to the plaza was very appreciated. Walls seemed a bit thin as we could hear our neighbors (we had a room adjoined to another).

Decor is very nice and very fitting for Santa Fe. Great service by the friendly staff. Close to the Plaza and to the main road to Ski Santa Fe. There is a restaurant/bar on site with good food. Key cards were troublesome. TV is on the small side. I would definitely come back.

We stayed here 2+ years ago on a Groupon. It was nice but not fancy. The breakfast was included and is was nicely prepared and tasty. The room was clean but dated. The grounds were nice and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

I’ve stayed at the Lodge at Santa Fe several times, even as a local, because I want to know about a place before recommending it to anyone. The location of the Lodge on the north side of Santa Fe works well if you don’t mind the walk to the Plaza. But there’s also a free shuttle, so staying at the Lodge makes even more sense when you realize that it costs half of what a comparable hotel nearer the Plaza charges. I’ve always experienced very good front staffers and room cleanliness, but the restaurant and overall maintenance should be better. The Southwestern decor throughout the Lodge is lovely and a main reason to stay — although the presence of movie set film crews is an ongoing and fun occurrence.

I attended a funeral dinner at The Lodge. Staff was outstanding! Attentive service, especially accommodating to the family. The buffet meal was delicious and set up properly to minimize waiting. Lovely decor, too. I can't say enough yo properly praise this venue.

Stayed here for the New Year's holiday. The rooms are nice. Good Southwest decor to get you cultured. The rest is lack luster. Walls are paper thin and fellow lodgers without etiquette were up at 4am blow drying, conversing and laughing. Front desk workers seem like they don't want to be bothered. Upon our initial arrival the front desk attendant was having a nice personal conversation on the hotel line, had to wait a cool 2 minutes for her to finish before getting checked in. There is a pool and hot tub. In the winter the hot tub seems to be more of a kid's splash zone. We took the complimentary shuttle to town 1 night, and very nice of them to keep it running through the New Year's Eve night, but as other reviews do indicate it is highly undependable — ended up having to Lyft most of the time. Overall, it's very average. Seemingly a family budget hotel rather than a romantic getaway. But if you must!

Not to our expectations. Heater in the room makes it too warm that you can’t breathe even on lowest setting. Room service is good but front desk is not friendly. Shower head is very low, you actually have to bend your head to get under it to wash your hair and I am only 5’10”. Sinks gets clogged easily. Working out room very bad. Good location close to downtown but overall won’t recommend it or stay here again.

My wife and I spent the weekend there and our stay was okay but not great. The staff were all friendly and accommodating but the place lacked some luster and could use a little updating. After all, it is listed as a "heritage" hotel with the likes of La Fonda. Breakfast was okay at the restaurant and the lounge was comfortable with great service, our waitress and bartender were the most memorable aspect if the experience, friendly and professional.
My biggest complaint was that we could hear housekeeping coming down the hall at 9am knocking on doors announcing themselves. I've never experienced that anywhere else. Housekeeping should start after check-out time or they should know from the front desk which guests have checked out and hit only those rooms.
Unfortunately I don't think the great staff would be enough to draw us back there again unless we learned that the place had been updated.

We typically come here the week before the Christmas rush… revamped restaurant and bar great staff, clean rooms and great rates. Love their bus to the downtown area… best over all value in Santa Fe. Book now!

This a beautiful hotel. We stayed in a pet friendly room. It was a little worn but bigger than most hotel rooms which was great. Pool and outside areas were very well kept. We will definitely come back to stay and explore Sante Fe.

The Lodge at Santa Fe provided a relaxing experience. Everything was clean and comfortable and the staff was accomodating. We were part of a group and the staff handled that well. The restaurant had lovely views and the chef was helpful with gluten-free options. The room that we occupied was comfortable but a bit on the small side and the full-size beds not quite as roomy as we were used to. The king rooms were about right. Refrigerator and microwave were provided on request. The pool and hot tub were clean and the area attractive. All-in-all it was very nice experience and in a good location.

Great location and views. Has a shuttle that takes you to the plaza. I am hosting my wedding here and the staff have been excellent and professional through all the planning.

Beds were really comfortable, lovely room and grounds. We were supposed to get included continental breakfast, very poor choices. Services were lacking for price.

Pet friendly, no bed bugs, so that is a win. $98 with a 45 min notice plus $25 pet fee plus $15 fee not mentioned on the phone. A bit disorganized and dated. The restaurant is OK, but not what I was hoping for during my one night here. If you aren't exhausted from traveling, you could probably find a smoother experience for the price. The hot water took so long to get hot that I ended up giving up and taking a cold shower until the very end.

Just a few minutes drive from downtown Santa Fe. Garduno's has wonderful New Mexican style food. It's a little bit on the pricey end but the chips and salsa are super awesome. Plus on your birthday they come out and sing you happy birthday with a big Mariachi hat right on top of your head. They have wonderful margaritas and a beautiful view.

Pretty hotel, decent rooms. We had the bad luck to stay during a MASSIVE wedding + reception that made the place crowded and loud until pretty late. It's close to downtown Santa Fe but a bit far to walk if it is hot or cold out (we walked to downtown and back but got sunburned, not used to the altitude! )

Room was clean, but kinda small. Bathroom shampoo and conditioner weren't restocked, which I only realized when I started showering. Asked for extra body lotion and they said they "ran out in the entire hotel". For 200$ a night, including a mandatory 15$ "rec fee" (for two water bottles and granola bars), I would expect more especially since they aren't located near anything. Won't stay here again and won't recommend it. ✌️

While our stay at The Lodge was enjoyable, our visit to the hotel’s restaurant was a disaster. We checked in around 7 PM on Sunday and decided to go to restaurant for a quick bite. When we entered the restaurant, the manager informed us that she only had one waitress and she might be overwhelmed. Overwhelmed? The place was practically empty. After about 10 minutes, the waitress took us to a table that was directly under an AC vent. We asked to be seated by the windows. She said she would have to get a table bussed. After about 20 minutes, the manager walked by and asked why we weren’t seated. She checked and a table had been bussed but the waitress apparently forgot all about us. After we were seated, we placed an order for a margarita and nachos. We asked that they add avocado ($1.95 extra). The nachos arrived (and were room temperature) and as she was putting the dish on the table she informed us that they were out of avocado. A Mexican food restaurant out of avocado – you have to be kidding! You should get your bar drinks before the meal arrives — but no margarita. When we asked about the margarita, the waitress replied, “margarita? ” Rather than going directly to the bar, she proceeded to wait on another couple, taking the time toll them about the specials. Ten minutes later she shows up with the margarita.

The rooms didn't seem clean or even well-finished. Chairs had nails sticking out of them, walls had holes in drywall where bathroom fixtures were screwed into them. Shower had poor pressure and was either cold or scalding with no reasonable in-between. Body was in shower was empty the first time I went to use it. Toilet was very small for a full size room. Shuttle to downtown was only semi-reliable and we had to request it start early enough to attend morning meetings for our conference. Rooms didn't have refidgerators which is a surprise given they're standard even at the most average modern hotel. 1/3 lamps in my room didn't even work. All-in-all, this place isn't great. It's not even cheap compared to other nearby hotels. Stay elsewhere unless you are seriously strapped for cash.

Stayed in a Jr suite. Room was large but some of the furniture needs to be updated. Everything was clean except one mirror and a light bulb that was out when we arrived. They both were fixed within minutes of us notifying the front office. Shuttle is very convenient and friendly drivers. Overall was expecting more for the price. Feel the location still has a ways to go to consider itself a resort compared to other places we've stayed at.

I loved this hotel everything was clean and tidy. The restaurant at the hotel also has really good food. They also offer a shuttle to take you downtown which is great! The service is fast and friendly. Also has great parking with awesome views!

Great staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The decor could use a little updating. Signs on exterior doors throughout the hotel stated that residents would need a key to enter after 9:00 p. M. None of the doors I saw locked after 9. Still a good value.

This is a fantastic hotel! It is well priced and you get a ton for your money. The staff are attentive and helpful. The rooms have local flare and are well maintained. The hotel is impeccably cleaned. The maid service is excellent. My whole family loved this place. The pool was great and the grounds lovely! I highly recommend it!

We stayed here for one night, but I wanted to stay longer. The decor is nice, very southwestern, and the outside is very stylish. They have a lot of amenities that I didn't get to use. Beds are comfortable and the room was clean. Cons: It's not as nice as the pictures. The room itself is a little dated, and the bathroom is not updated. All of the work has been done to the lobby and common areas. Overall, a good place to stay that's more affordable than what you'd find downtown.

Came across this lodge at the perfect time! Greeted by Friendly attendants at the front desk. Room was cozy and clean! The bar was a perfect way to end the evening! Breakfast was delicious and the service was great! Will definitely be back.

It was okay, staff were great at the counter but at the bar rude and innattentive. No spa, or pool during winter months. They need to spray I killed three spiders in the room while there. Close enough to a shopping center, down side no continental breakfast just a vending machine or the restaurant upstairs Gardunos… if it wasn't for the attendant at the front desk giving us a discount and the rooms having a beautiful furniture I probably would have g I vendors this place 2 stars.

Clean, Safe, Quite That is what I want in a hotel it nailed all three. Great place to stay for a weekend or a few days, we stopped for two day and ended up staying four. The off season rates were great the restaurant was reasonable and very good. The shuttle service to downtown worked out very well. The staff could not have been any better Thanks for a very enjoyable four days.

Excellent service, great prices and rooms. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay close to downtown Santa Fe.

Although it has potential, the weak management makes the Lodge a 2 star at best. Upon arrival we (and several others) had to wait about 20 minutes before we could check in due to a shift change. Once we got to our room we found the heat hadn't been turned on for at least a day in the 19 degree snowing weather. The two outside concrete walls were cold to the touch and the room was cold soaked and in the 50's, temperature wise. Additionally, the shower diverter and bathroom outlet didn't work. Of course there were "no other rooms available" so the night manager said he would discount the rate 50% and provided us with two extra blankets. The manager stated I didn't need to worry about checking out the next morning because he had already discounted the rate in their system. Upon checking the next morning I found the night manager had not discounted the rate and the day time manager knew nothing about it. Only when I requested the day manager to call the night manager was I provided the 50% discount that was promised. Never again!

It was clean and quiet. The view is a little eerie, but nice (the hotel overlooks a military cemetery). The water pressure baffled me… It's extremely strong. The toilet sounded like an airplane taking off. The shuttle is a huge plus. The driver, Manny, is awesome. He can tell you all the hot-spots and fun things to do during your visit.

I was charged $100 extra for a cleaning fee after my stay during the Saint Bernard National. I am outraged! I did not leave my room dirty! When I checked in my room keyed did not work and I was moved to another room. The keys worked sometimes. I called the front desk and reported a broken chair and dresser. There was a thick layer of dirt on the top of the TV cabinet and everything was dusty and you say that I left the room dirty! I never received my meals from the “Taco Bar” and the “Annual Dinner” because there was not enough food from everyone. Are you going to give me a refund for the $200 that I paid for the meals for my husband and I that we didn’t get? You under prepared all of the prepaid meals for the group. We paid good money for those meals and received nothing! Then you had the nerve to charge me $100 for a cleaning fee… are you kidding? My room was cleaned once because your housekeepers didn’t get around to all of rooms until late afternoons when we are trying to relax. My dogs were crated and I brought my own sheets to cover the bedspreads. All your housekeepers have to do was to vacuum the floor, the rest of the room was the way it was when I arrived! I am contesting this charge with my credit card company. My dogs are the top performance saints in history and I have never been charged for a dirty room! I expect a reversal of this charge. I paid an additional $25.00 (not by choice) for a housekeeping gratuity… that should cover the vacuuming.

In the room 2 lamps were out. One was unplugged, but that didn't matter as it didn't work anyway. They put a standard 2-way bulb in the functioning 3-way lamp. Even if those 2 lamps worked the room was overly dim. The bathroom door would hit the toilet seat if opened all the way. The water pressure left giant amounts to be desired and as you showered in a cramped shower with a second soap tray mounted just below shoulder level so it was perfect for hitting your elbow on. We were there for a wedding. The hotel's own program showed cocktails would be served from 5pm — midnight. Well an hour after dinner at 9pm, they decided they would close the bar. We are a quiet crowd. There was no need for this. Some of us go to pick up our own alcohol while others go to complain. After a while they finally open the bar again, but now have a security guard barring us from taking in our own drinks. Then he starts following people around the hotel, creeping around corners. Now that it's time to sleep the heater is either on or off, it's cold out so when we wake up in a sweat we have to turn it off until it's too cool again. I for one will never return there.

I loved my stay at The Lodge. I had a very comfortable room with good amenities. The staff was very quick and responsive to any questions or requests I made. In particular, Luke and Jeff were very helpful, even finding a way to guide me from the downtown to the hotel shuttle. Manny the shuttle driver was also great to deal with. Overall, I can't recommend them enough. I give them a 5 out of 5.
