Our stay at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi was absolutely one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had anywhere in the US. Our welcome (and your customer service) began long before we arrived at the Inn. My group of four woman happened upon a special package offered by the Inn and listed on AMEX. Website. We contacted your hotel reservationist and also your concierge with many questions (all cheerfully answered) so we might determine whether the hotel would offer the various amenities preferred by the varying tastes of the four women in our group. We were assured that all of our needs would be accommodated. Wes, our concierge, assisted with transportation arrangements and the receptionist obtained details regarding specific requests of members of our party. The moment we stepped into the limo at Albuquerque Airport we were greeted with refreshments and cooling amenities. Check-in was gracious and smooth, and there were more delights waiting in our lovely rooms. Those first encounters set the tone for our glorious stay at your hotel. Every day our lovely rooms were spotlessly cleaned. Each morning a paper waited at our door; each evening we returned to find our beds turned down, the fire lit, and water and cookies by the bed. Every single hotel employee we came into contact with was extremely professional: polite, knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. Every measure was taken to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The lounge staff greeted us warmly and quite efficiently cared for our needs. In the evening, our bartenders and waitresses were simultaneously efficient and lively! The food in the lounge was tasty, pairing perfectly with the small selection of well-chosen wines by the glass; the craft cocktails were amazing and memorable (the hotel namesake whiskey was quite good! ). We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the dining room — the meals were excellent, with portion sizes that left no one wanting! On our last night we ran into the one and only snafu — the wait staff were prepared to set up room service for us in the hotel library so that we might watch the season premier of Game of Thrones on the big screen TV. When the manager determined there was a "glitch" (the TV would not receive the HBO station) he suggested we set up in one of our spacious rooms and arranged for room service bring our drink and food items to us! Check out was also smooth: your desk staff warmly accommodated our wish to have a few charges moved from one of our rooms to another. Typically, after four nights in a hotel I am very eager to return to the comfort of my own home, but in this case I was terribly sad to see my stay come to an end! I look forward to returning with my husband so that we both may take full advantage of the more romantic experience, which I am certain the Rosewood Inn will be able to provide.
