We pulled up to the valet at the Drury Plaza Hotel at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day and the 3 valets stayed "chatting" at the valet stand until we had our luggage out of the car... at which point one came over and asked if we needed a luggage cart, which we did. He did assist in loading the cart, but I actually pushed it into the lobby, and on to our room. Strike one. We had reserved a pet-friendly room on-line, and were told, and had to sign a disclosure at check-in notifying us we could not leave the dog in the room alone, for any reason, ever... REALLY? Kind of defeats the purpose of a pet friendly room. Strike two. I will say the room is very nice. 7:30 p.m. At this point we just got home from dinner, on a patio with our dog, and we'll hope strike three is not awaiting... although that being said, there was a $35.00 pet fee, not previously disclosed, and a $20.00 parking fee. I wish they put as much thought into the actual guest experience as they have with their in-room TV commercial.

Amazing view of the sunset from the rooftop here! Also, three free drinks per guest and happy hour snacks from 5-7pm were so awesome! The drinks are limited to the basics like martini, old fashioned, tequila sunrise, wines, and beers. I ordered a custom vodka Shirley Temple, which was pretty good if I do say so myself. The bar snacks include popcorn (yaaas! ), baked potato, salad, taco bar, nachos and cheese, hot dogs, and a couple soups. Not bad… but the drinks are better.

This hotel is spectacular! Not only is it dog friendly but it’s kid friendly too. Every person my 5 year old daughter encountered was kind, respectful, and helpful, each one giving her and I a warm smile. Anytime I came to the lobby someone asked if I needed help. The breakfast is amazing and the coffee is to die for. The pool on the roof is beautiful along with the jacuzzi. I literally can’t wait to come here each year because they make the best Bloody Marys on the second floor (free of course because this hotel is awesome) Anyways, I can’t say enough good things about this place. We thoroughly enjoy it every time we visit. Plus the plaza is so close so you have access to anything you want. Thank you Kyle Danley for making our stay especially great. You are a wonderful manager.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Location was perfect Everything was within walking distance. But if you don't want to leave the hotel there's so much to do there you can go swimming Lounge by the pool they serve breakfast and dinner and drinks in the afternoon. The best part is going up on the 5th floor and watching the sun go down amazing view.

Looked around to find best deal & location of hotel in Santa Fe, and Mann did my wife & I luck out choosing this hotel… The hotel might be 4star amenities, but the staff is 5star all the way! The kickback drink & appetizers from 5:30-7pm was wonderful… We met so many great people travelers & regional locals… The pool & balcony areas are just stunning. Then there is location… If you want a hotel we're you can walk everywhere, bingo this is it… thank you Drury for an amazing stay… AAAA+++

10-stars! This Drury Inn was excellent! Perfect central downtown location. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. The happy hour kickback is great. Rooms were very modern despite this being a very old building. Worth the extra money (which is hard to do). Will come back again

Heather B.

Great room! Excellent restaurant. Outstanding service. Even the DOG loved it. Pet friendly is an understatement! No hassles for last minute booking or the dog. We WILL stay here again! It was our first time in Santa Fe and the hotel we close to everything. They even played Happy Birthday on the guitar for me.

Kerry A.

Beautiful hotel in the downtown area. Centrally located and within walking distance of the square and most attractions. Free shuttle stop within 150 yards of hotel. Friendly customer service oriented staff with a great free happy hour and incredible free evening food choices. Can't go wrong here.

Gwendolyn E.

Great hotel in a great location. Hotel staff are very helpful. The free food is nice! Breakfast is decent and the "kick-back" can substitute as a meal. Pool outdoors on the 5th level looks lovely, and the fitness center is a good size for a hotel. Rooms are very quiet, clean, and relaxing. The bathroom in the king "deluxe" room is quite spacious. Hotel clientele appear to be a mixture of retirees and people attending a conference hosted at the hotel.

Very amazing Drury location rooftop pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was okay. The kickback food was amazing! I really like the potato soup! Our room was very clean and very huge very high ceilings made it feel more open and spacious. The scenery was amazing to lots of awesome architecture in the area to look at!

This was a great find : Wonderful, friendly staff Nice breakfast buffet Great Kickback Happy Hour 5:30-7 every night — 3 free drinks, tacos, pasta, baked potatoes, hot dogs and chili. We only went once but a great deal of you have a big family Rooms were spacious and very nice and new. Fast USB ports on each nightstand which was great. Rooftop bar Alto and rooftop pool and spa was a nice addition but crowded. Sunsets from the roof are great Valet parking was a bummer at $20 per night but the guys were all great! I would definitely stay here again. Location was fantastic, right behind the Cathedral. 2 blocks from the Plaza

Beautiful surroundings on the outside of the Hotel. The Hotel itself has nice wide open spaces and is very clean. The bar on the top floor was alright, on the night we were there a fight broke out amongst the ridiculous. Pool and hot tub on the top floor were excellent. The room also was excellent, balcony, TV room and bathroom equipped with spa tub made our stay extremely relaxing and enjoyable.

This place was wonderful! My fiancé and I enjoyed our time here and the service was outstanding. Conveniently located in walking distance of many great places to visit. The complementary breakfast and drink social where great things to experience. The staff was always very attentive, helpful and friendly.

We have been extremely impressed with this place since finding it several years ago and this has become our favorite place to stay. All the staff seem to really enjoy working here. The facility is beautiful. Bar Alto at the top of the hotel is awesome and has some great views of the city and sunset. Heated pool on the roof is a super plus. It is right off the plaza. Highly recommend.

Diane C.

Hotel was beautiful, great area with lots to do just a walk away. Issue was with hotel, charged us then undid charge then charged again causing issues with our bank and with extra fees that no employee want to admit it's in them, not us we did not run our card it was the hotel. Still waiting to hear back from someone who wants to takes responsible.

Colin B.

Very quiet and the staff was excellent! Everyone from management to the table clearing staff was as polite as I've ever seen and management continually asked how the stay was going and if there was anything they could do for us. They've got customer service down. Other hotels should send their staff here to see how it should be done!

Bryan J.

Stayed here for a work trip, wasn't sure what to expect because Drury isn't a luxury name, but this was a fantastic stay. The art was incredible and in good taste, the free breakfast, food and drinks in the evening, and the really cool rooftop bar with a view made this stay epic. This used to be an old hospital so there is history and fun stories all around. Couple of blocks from the city square, great location and price. Would absolutely stay again if I go back to Santa Fe.

Karen D

Great room, wonderful decor, NO room service? Must order from the expensive restaurant in the hotel, and then pick up the food yourself. Expected better from a hotel at this price point.

Michael R.

Excellent hotel! Excellent Location! Love the room layout as well. Can't complain about the 3 free drinks at night either :)

John R.

Dreary digs of a former hospital are now the spotless rooms of Drury Plaza Hotel. All the amenities of a top lodger with all the charm of a hardwood floor. Stiff environment suitable for business trips but lacks coziness for romantic weekend getaways. Two bars. Dining. Sunport Airport shuttle $35. Walking distance to Plaza, restaurants, Cathedral

Kat O.

Super sweet staff, personally showed me suites to choose from when I wasn't even sure of the difference. Super sweet to our fur baby too! Kickback and breakfast happens on 2nd floor, excellent restaurant (Eloisia) on the first floor with a 15% discount coupon in room. Rooftop jacuzzi, pool and bar. Watch sunset from there. They also have valet parking for $18 a night. Again sweet people. Only thing we don't like is that the sliding barn door on the bathroom doesn't seal. So if you are standing by the bed TV, you can see the person on the toilet through the small crack left between the wall and the door. *Pictured

This is a well-run hotel with an excellent location. It's only a 5-minute walk to the main plaza and many of Santa Fe's attractions are within a 15-minute walk. Close to shopping also. The staff is trained well and appears to be genuinely interested in the guests' comfort. The breakfast is solid. The evening "Kickback" 90 minutes is also good with some snacks (sometimes there's pasta that could be dinner if you're so inclined) and 3 alcoholic drinks per over-21 guest (the wine and beer are fine, but except for the rum, the other beverages (scotch, vodka, tequila, gin) are below par… for example they serve Johnny Walker Red… sorry, I've never had anything below Black Label). The bathroom door in our room was a bit weird in design so we had to make an effort to ensure that we did not impose on the bathroom-occupant's privacy. Toilet paper felt like sandpaper. These are the only two things that I found lacking in this overall excellent hotel

Scott H.

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. Room was ultra-comfortable. Wi-fi was fast. My favorite thing was the rooftop heated pool and hot tub. Even on a FREEZING evening, the pool was steaming warm and the hot tub was perfect. Odd, the bathroom door. This isn't the hotel for you if you're traveling with someone that's not close family. The bathroom doesn't really have a door, in the traditional sense. And the shower stall is transparent. Hotel prices in Santa Fe are reasonable. This is one of the best hotels in town for sure. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

Mariah S.

Awesome place right in the middle of the downtown area. Has a beautiful pool can I miss. Beautiful rooms wonderful soft big beds

Karoleigh A.

The staff here is amazing. EVERY ONE, says hello, asks if you need anything. The rooms are lovely, clean and our terrace is so nice. Great location, just a quick few steps to the plaza. Will definitely stay here again.

Linda J.

Great location. Wonderful & welcoming staff. Everyone here goes out of their way to accommodate you. Food & drinks is great!

Art F.

This is a nice hotel. It has a great location just off the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The staff is always very welcoming and helpful. The hotel offers a good breakfast in the morning and a big spread of food in the evening along with drinks. Parking is limited so it is valet only. That's the only downside to this hotel I can find. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Kelli L.

This hotel is pretty much perfect! The location is everything! The weekday morning desk clerk is amazing! He gave us an early check-in and upgraded us into a King Suite that was wonderful! The bed was very comfortable, clean, and had ample luxurious bedding. This hotel has a daily "Kick back event" (Happy hour on steroids) from 5:30 to 7, guests can attend to eat or by using a card received at check-in get three free drinks (actually good drinks, select cocktails, beer, or wine) My fiance found beers he liked and I had martinis or gin and tonics. They offer a small but fresh and delicious soup and salad bar, a hot dog or nacho station, and a hot buffet that seems to vary each evening. While we were there they offered a baked potato bar, penne in a pesto sauce, great chicken tenders, a taco bar with fantastic rice and black beans. All of this and the top notch, full hot breakfast they provide right there on the second floor in the morning was all just really outstanding! We were able to be very picky about what restaurants we actually went out and tried. We travel for leisure quite a bit, and the Drury really is on top of their game. I would tell anyone going to Santa Fe to only stay at the Drury. The art work on display really grabbed me as well. Anthony, the bartender in Bar Alto on the rooftop is wonderful! So my only tiny suggestion would be is that Bar Alto stayed open a little later.

Rebecca U.

Amazing. The hotel is decorated with local art. The entire hotel is clean and modern. They upgraded us to our surprise on arrival to a king suite, and the breakfast was high quality for a hotel breakfast.

Marcus F.

Wonderful hotel. Great bar, pool, gym, and beautiful downstairs lounge area. Room was clean and very comfortable. Nice staff. Tasty breakfast and nice kickback in the afternoon. Wonderful location in SF.

Joe B.

Great stay right next to the jewelry street markets. Come for the culture and art and stay in a first class hotel. I now look for other Drury properties every time I travel.

Marilyn E.

My husband and I stayed here after we got engaged and had a wonderful experience. We love it so much that we returned the day after our wedding for a mini-moon. Both times the staff showed us the upmost professionalism and kindness. From the valets and doormen to the front desk and managerial staff, they made our stay memorable in the best way and even gave us major room upgrade, that made the stay more enjoyable for us. The property itself is in an amazing location and has the old town feel with new and high end upgrades. Between the kick-back in the afternoon and the totally inclusive breakfast, as well as Eloisa, we never felt the need to leave the hotel. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and cannot wait to go back every year for our anniversary.

Casey M.

Beautifully designed inside and out! The courtyard is lovely and fits in perfectly with the Plaza. Our room was upgraded to a suite with a fireplace and a huge bathroom. The employees were helpful and so friendly. We skipped the “Kickback Lounge” for the rooftop terrace bar. It was incredible! Amazing views of the surrounding mountains and there is tons of seating! We ate at their restaurant and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. Delicious! Don’t miss out on the Banana Split for 2. So so good.

Zia E.

Lovely hotel in an historic old building next to the cathedral with friendly staff, large rooms, valet parking and some unexpected extras. We had a very enjoyable stay here

Heather G.

Beautiful hotel in a restored building just off of the Plaza behind the cathedral. Very trendy and spacious with lots of natural light and high ceilings. I was entertained by some of the carry overs from this buildings past inhabitants, fire doors and government office space feel in the halls. The happy hour and breakfast offerings were nice and very popular. The roof top lounge was a lovely way to pass the evening as well.

Bex F.

A truly wonderful place to stay! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and aims to make happy guests. Beautiful facility right in the heart of downtown Santa Fe.

Jacqueline B.

The room was large and had an extremely comfortable king-sized bed and fluffy pillows. The nathroom was gorgeous with both a large tub and a separate glass door walk-in shower. The kickback had some good, filling food choices and a few free alcohol drinks. The breakfast was big with lots of choices. Would recommend this hotel!

Ryan J

Our group had a great two-night stay. This is the nicest bang-for-the buck hotel you will find, and I will definitely think Drury everywhere for future consideration. The decor was inviting and the hotel was in very nice shape. Note that they have only valet parking which usually is $16 — this fee was waived however apart of our promo package. The room was very nice as well as the bathroom. One thing I would recommend though is to get different carpet for the rooms; they did seem a little cheap and dirty compared to the rest of the overall hotel. The bathroom was very spacious an we liked the shower, and it already came stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower to press and release. The edges of the shower wall caulking could have been cleaned nicer however as I ran my finger down and got slime. The breakfast buffet is included and is very nice and the food selection very good. They don't have real orange juice (concentrate flavor with water), but most hotels are this way so I expected it. Drury really gives you the extras at no extra cost. They don't have the 'resort fee' shenanigans, and they have the 5:30PM kickback — 7PM, and that is essentially dinner… chicken tenders, pasta, hot dogs, soup, and more. It's a nice buffet and saves you money so you don't have to buy dinner somewhere. 21+ get three free alcoholic drink vouchers to use for each night too. Impressive!

Chad G.

I've stayed in many nice hotels, but this is definitely in my top few. The rustic decor is so inviting. They serve an evening snack that should be called dinner, complete with free drinks. A full breakfast buffet as well. You can't ask for much more than this.

Adrian M.

Best place to stay in Santa Fe! It's located right behind the historic cathedral, which you can look over from the rooftop patio. The service is amazing! The food and drinks are great! I will stay here every time I visit Santa Fe!

Sunshine D.

Wow! This place is a gem. The rooms are spacious, and the rates are great. Our stay included breakfast on the 2nd floor, where we were greeted to eggs, cereal, yogurt, breakfast meats, all day coffee, tea and fountain drinks. In the evenings they served finger foods and build your own tacos, that were heavy enough for a small meal. For those who enjoy adult beverages you get 3 drinks per person per day! This was all included in the nightly rate — a rate we pay at places that are not so luxury elsewhere. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying each aspect of the hotel. Pool, Jacuzzi and gym on the top floor made for pleasant night time star gazing and the rooftop bar became the social spot for to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere. The hotel also has a restaurant on the 1st floor that attracts many locals and the grounds are well kept. There is so much to do in the walk-able surrounding areas. This place is a great find. Can't say enough! Experience it for yourself.

Tiffany G.

Very lovely hotel! Great hot breakfast, every single person we talked to on staff was extremely helpful and friendly, awesome rooftop pool and kickback hour (not to mention great rooms and decor). One of the best hotels I have stayed at.

Carlos B.

Rooms are great. King bed, big tub, amenities are great. Free breakfast and kickback (light dinner with 3 free alcoholic beverages) daily for guests. Service is exceptional

Can only give a 2 star because the front desk attendant insisted on moving me to a different room (pet friendly room) because I have a service dog. Federal law prohibits this, yet the Drury apparently doesn't care. The valet service needs work. We had a very strange welcome when arriving at the Drury. Our valet greeter was bizarre to say the least. Not a comforting feeling when someone else is going to be driving your vehicle… The breakfast, dinner, room, pool, etc. Were awesome, however.

Neal M.

Great hotel. Modern, up-to-date rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent location and value. Free breakfast and evening snacks.

Angela B.

Great spot in Santa Fe. Free drinks at happy hour and nice pool and hot tub on the roof. Tourist towns have that problem of needing tourists yet despising them at the same time. We were pleasantly surprised that the staff at this hotel were considerate, thoughtful, and just downright kind. For our family, it was an excellent choice and we'd stay here again.

Joaquin M.

I really enjoyed my stay, I've been here twice so far both times ivr had great experiences, would definitely recommend

Angie M.

This place is amazing. Great rooms. Close to shops. Reasonable prices. Must stay!

Luna H.

Love the service, open concept, the very well designed and the collections of Art! The rooms are very spacious and comfortables. I was very impressed with the transforming from a hospital to a hotel accommodations. Bravo! I will definitely recommend this beautiful place to family and friends. The location is perfect and the amenities are great!

Kathleen D.

We have stayed in nice hotels throughout the world and often been disappointed. The Drury Plaza in Santa Fe ranks up at the top of our list. The service is simply outstanding and everyone that works at the hotel has not only been well trained but they are friendly and engaging. When we were desperate for D-batteries on Christmas morning for our grandchild's present, they didn't direct us to a store — they GAVE us 6 batteries so we could be on our way. The rates are so reasonable, the rooms are spacious, the valet parking is efficient, and the breakfasts and other treats/cocktails are very generous. We're done spending a fortune for the well-known hotels near the plaza. This hotel has got it all figured out.

Brian M.

Great option, please consider. Fun location with lots of freebies. Rooftop pool and jacuzzi. Free Wi-Fi. Evening Happy Hour with heavy appetizers (read dinner), soda and popcorn in the afternoon. Rooms were very well appointed, the king suite is PERFECT for families (full slider doors isolate kids area from parents)

Shelby L.

This hotel is gorgeous, with beautiful art all over the place. I was just there for a conference and they had more than enough room for everyone. There was free food out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can't emphasize enough how amazing and helpful the staff was! They went out of their way to be helpful and were friendly and sincere! I found all of the staff to be great rather than just a few. I have started at many nice hotels and resorts over the years, but this was my favorite. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone for any type of stay! If someone from the hotel reads this: thank you for making my stay great during the volunteer conference!

Stephanie A.

Beautiful facility, wonderful accommodations. Great bathrooms.

Neil W.

Excellent rooms, great service, and it is in a great location. Note: valet only — no regular parking

Riva M.

Very pleased. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Would recommend to anyone!

Justin W.

Have you been to Eloisa, it's absolutely gorgeous. I couldnt believe how much I enjoyed the watermelon salad amazing taste and presentation made it look Da Vinci. The ahi tuna brioche was melt in my mouth delicious. The flavors still dancing on my pallette, in tune with the ambient music playing in the background. The chefs are so clean they dont have to hide with an open design to an award winning kitchen. Wow… this is in Santa Fe, new favorite.

Howard T.

We just had a family reunion where we all stayed here. The Drury Plaza hotel worked out very well for this. It is a short walk to the main plaza of Santa Fe. The rooms were big, with enormous bathrooms. The staff was friendly and the manager was constantly checking with people to make sure everything was going well. For our reunion, having free drinks and food every night made for a great gathering place.

Lisa G.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff.

Verna S.

Wonderful location and beautifully renovated hotel with friendly service and lots of extras.

Barrett C.

We had a wonderful stay at thr Drury Santa Fe. Kyle and Kenn were a wonderful help at check in. All the extras are awesome.

Bobby B.

My wife and I decided to have a 'staycation' in Santa Fe. We love that we could walk to anywhere around downtown Santa Fe from the Drury Plaza Hotel. We checked in and were welcomed with a friendly valet and front desk. They gave us some drink coupons for the bar upstairs to use from 5:30 — 7pm. We had fun hanging out on the mezzanine. Our room was great, super clean and we had a nice view of Palace Avenue and the Cathedral Basilica downtown. The bathroom was spacious and our room had a little side living space. The staff is great and welcoming, friendly and informative. It's nice to feel welcomed. The Drury Plaza Hotel is great for a 'Staycation' and if you are visiting Santa Fe, perfect for a vacation.
