They are in the middle of remodeling but cant hear anything. Rooms are always clean. Staff is extremely nice. Breakfast is always good and lots of choices. This is the 2nd year we have stayed here and we are happy everytime.

Great rooms, great service. Front desk was super friendly. Had a huge group of family stay here with a group rate. Sundy was very helpful in getting everyone accommodated.

It's a nice hotel, the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and spacious, and the pool is very nice. But… There is a tree next to the pool that has this strange type of bug that is in a cocoon type of shell and has a little worm looking thing inside. They fall into the pool, all over the ground, and you totally wouldn't notice them until you see them move. Creepy!

This hotel has been very nice. I stayed one night to go to a Rutgers orientation the next day. The accommodations, service, and quality of the rooms were all impeccable. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

My first trip to New Jersey and I found the trip to the hotel to be reasonably convenient. The check in process was quick and easy after some delays getting out of the airport. I found my room to be as advertised. I like finding enough toiletries and bath towels. The room was comfortably cool and the daily cleaning left the room straightened without making me wonder if my personal items had been moved around the room.

This is a great hotel. Always clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. This is always my first choice for a hotel in the area.

This hotel was great, I'd stay here again if I visited NJ. They definitely cater to millennials, which was kinda cute. See the photos for proof. Also, most importantly, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had a good time — friendly front desk staff, clean odor free rooms, wonderfully extensive breakfast! The only thing I regret is that I didn't get to try out the jacuzzi tub which, weirdly enough, is right by the bed! Actually, that would be perfect for "parties"!

520 clean room amenities were great! Definitely staying there again! Wish the Wi-Fi worked a little better but it was complimentary so it's okay.

We stayed overnight because we were working in town and instead of driving all the way back to long island just to be up early and drive back the next day we opted to stay the night. Staff was very pleasant and nice lobby area was well lit and clean and so were the room. I would stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here while attending a wedding nearby. The facilities were extraordinarily clean, the room was well appointed and the staff was so kind and friendly. Additionally, the continental breakfast was superb — waffles, eggs and sausage were far more than expected. We were thoroughly impressed with our overnight stay.

This is a very nice hotel, and the beds are so comfortable. The staff was very courteous, and friendly. The location is excellent as well, near shopping, and many restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Probably my 4th or 5th stay here. Same as usual. Reasonably comfortable, one of the more affordable hotels in the area. I'd recommend it.

Fantastic, helpful staff and nice, clean rooms. They were very accommodating when hosting our event and extremely friendly. And the breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel yet. Would love to visit again. Thank you very much for hosting us on my first time in the East Coast!

Room was greay… staff was great… bed was great… hot breakfast was not so hot… cold eggs and cold turkey sausage don't sit well with me.

Simply amazing staff — best, most friendly, cheerful bunch I have run into in probably any hotel in which I've ever stayed. Will definitely remember my stay for this aspect. In addition, impeccable atmosphere and room quality you come to expect from Hampton.

I was very disappointed to find out the only hotel pool was closed due to an ordinance from the city because it had not been inspected for use yet. I was told this information after we checked in. I have two teenage boys with me that wanted to go swimming. The pool was the main reason I chose this hotel and there is not even an indoor pool to use.

Friendly front desk. I found the a/c not to work very well and the pillows were not great. The room was clean and I would stay here again though.

Have reviewed this hotel, stayed probably 100 nights over a few years, I think it's one of the best Hamptons I stay at and definitely the nicest hotel in the area. The front desk staff knows me by name, which is a nice touch for a frequent traveler. Rooms smell nice, air conditioner is built into the wall, not one of those little window units so they always work well. Lots of food options within walking (Ruby Tuesday and some other similar chains). Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The location is close to the center of South Plainfield with a lot of restaurants and other hotels in the nearby vicinity. I stayed here specifically because of a badminton tournament hosted at the International Badminton Center, a convenient 10-12 minute drive away. The rooms were well maintained and everything was to my satisfaction. We were provided with plenty of towels and there were multiple charging points by the bedside for phones/tablets/etc. The breakfast wasn't out of this world, however it was enough to fill you up and let you last until lunch so I'd say it served its purpose! The desk employee was very kind and welcoming. I would stay here again if I had to come to this area another time in the future.

HAMPTON Inn was clean, quiet, service personnel are very helpful. Here, in the city centre, close to restaurants, shops and University are all very close. Complimentary Breakfast is convenient, especially our 7 and a half to a swimming pool collection.

Service was good. Rooms a bit small but comfortable. And location was convenient: close drive to rutgers. Overall it was a good experience for the price.

My room was super clean. The house keeper Ana was very nice and extremely helpful. Looking forward to staying again.

I have to agree with other reviewers — the staff is very friendly here. However, my room was priced somewhat high. I got a smoking room, and while I was impressed with the floor not smelling like smoke, there were weird and very large smoking/burn-related stains on the carpet floor near my bed. Also, when I booked my room, it stated that I would have a fridge in my room, which I did not. Overall, this Hampton is pretty nice… I guess I just got a bad room or something.

My room was EXTREMELY clean! The house keeper Hallie was extremely nice and made sure we had all our necessities to have a great stay! Louie the breakfast manager kept the breakfast bar stocked and replaced condiments immediately! Merle the front seat clerk was just as polite and knowledgable about the property! Kudos to the management team you guys obviously are treating your staff great because it shows in there work! See you guys soon!

Amazing hotel. This is the nicest Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. The staff was nothing shy of amazing and very friendly. The room was super clean and I couldn't hear any of my neighbors. They had popcorn, cookies, and snacks all day and fresh coffee everyone I was in the lobby. This is just a great hotel all around.
