I cancelled my stay or so I thought. The gentleman confirmed on multiple occasions that my stay was cancelled. I stay at a hotel on a weekly basis for work. It is my mistake to had taken the gentleman at his word and not documented a confirmation number. The manager said he would reach out to the employee to verify my account of the experience and get back to me. A week later he has not reached out and I am unable to reach him. For two years I've stayed at hotels on average four days out of every week. Holiday Inn will never receive my business again. Unprofessional, dishonest and far from trust worthy.

I arrived with my co-workers around 10:30 PM. The front desk staff quickly got us our room keys, and was also able to look up one of our names in the rewards system even though he didn't have his rewards number on his person. My room was clean and tidy. I really have no complaints. I slept well, despite being on the first floor with the fountain and lights outside my window. In the morning, the breakfast area was a little packed. It's not very large, but in all fairness I should have arrived quicker.

Friendly and outgoing staff. Clean and a good breakfast. Close to many places to eat and the casinos.

Friendly check in, clean inside and outside the building. The room is clean and fresh. The breakfast is nice, fast and easy. Buns, cereal, pre made waffles, juice, oatmeal…

Very friendly staff. Just your average room. I was there on business, but great spot for bay side casinos. Breakfast was good, but needs an oatmeal vat, not envelopes (see what the competition is doing — I have communicated this to IHG about HIE breakfast before this comment).

I was EXTREMELY frustrated when I received a phone call at 8:30AM to inform me that since I checked out they had grabbed everything I left in my room and put it at the front desk. I was returning from work at 9am and had planned to hang out for the two hours I still had before 11am check out. I had NOT checked out and I had placed a do not disturb sign on the door. I'm not sure why I would have checked out but left my suitcase UNPACKED in my room and my things lying out. Very violating experiencing knowing someone touched all my stuff and also thought it was acceptable to enter the room with a do not disturb sign on it! The front desk person was very nice in listening to my complaints but it really does take away from what happened. I hope the housekeeping staff will be better trained to use common sense.

Great hotel for a family stay. Has hot tub and a pool. The breakfast buffet is very good. The staff was great also. Everyone had a positive attitude.

This place is amazing and the staff just make it even better. Check in was quick and easy. When we got to the room it wasn't the room we booked. Robert came to the rescue and fixed it. Amazing customer service. My husband and I are so pleased with everything. Room is nice and clean! Can't wait to try breakfast in the morning.

Extremely nice 12 minutes from Atlantic City main strip. One Road in one row back. Modern rooms clean, indoor pool, sauna breakfast included. I will definitely go there again.

We were very happy with the hotel. One of the very best holiday inns I have ever stayed. I just wish they would cut back on the use of chlorine and bleach.

Super clean and the staff is very friendly. Stayed here recently when visiting from out of state for the night. We checked in late as the staff was cooking breakfast for the next morning and the front-desk receptionist John (I believe) was awesome, greeting us with some jokes about how he refers to himself as "Chef Jacques Pierre" when making the eggs. Lol. Shower was spotless, as was the room. No issues at all. Breakfast had tons of options — — pancakes, eggs, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, danishes, potatoes and a bunch of other stuff from 6:30-9:30 on weekdays. Great deal and we will stay here again if visiting this area.

Affordable hidden gem with beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. Everything is brand-new and super clean. Very very much on the up-and-up. I got a really clean vibe when came in here. Very good deal, especially for the price. I notices that the upper 2 levels are divided into two wings, and one can only access the other wing by passing through the lobby. This is a nice safe-environment feature.

Love this place! We have been coming here for years. Extremely clean. From owners to management, front desk, house keeping, and maintenance, everyone that works here goes out of there way to make you feel welcome. We come here rather then stay for free at the casino. All because of the staff.

Nice, clean large bedrooms. Had a walk in shower, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning, pool area and outside sitting area with a soothing waterfall. I highly recommend.

Our group of family stayed for two nights here and we enjoyed pretty much. Rooms were clean, meeting room was good, breakfast was awesome, and staffs were very kind. I strongly recommend this hotel to others.

New Modern Clean Holiday Inn Express & Suites Absecon. It was our first time staying here and we had no problems. I found it to be kept up to date and worth the money we paid.

Staff is nice and polite the hotel is clean and smells great BUT they do use a lil too much cleaner cause when we got on the elevator the smell of cleaning solution was so overwhelming. Then after we checked in the elevator broke our room was on​the 3rd floor and it was broke the whole FOUR days we were there had to carry luggage down 3 flights of stairs when leaving. So disappointed in the fact that we had no elevator for 4 days.

The holiday Inn was great. Very clean, affordable and overall a pleasant experience.

The place was clean, staff were friendly, and it was affordable. The bed was very comfortable. The room was nice. However, the breakfast was not good. I booked for two queen sizes beds. Instead, I received two full sizes beds.

The Room Was Nice. Hot Tub Was A Little Small For My Husband And I But We Are Bigger Than The average Person So I Wasn't Too Upset. The Bed Was Too Firm And We Both Woke Up With Aching Backs. Other Tab The Bed And Hot Tub Our Stay Was Great.

I have stayed here about six times while in town for business. Free breakfast in the morning is good. Beds are okay; when staying request a room in the back portion of the hotel, it is a lot quieter. There are many fast food places on the main drag right across the street from the hotel. Staff is always friendly. A lot of government people stay in this location as it is close to the TSATC and other government facilities and the FAA Center.

It is a good clean place they'll treat you well with breakfast cafe all the time, you get points when you become a member and you can muchod benefit.

The rooms are very nice and have many of the amenities needed for comfort. The staff is polite and very accommodating.

Everything clean and tidy. There are 24-hour coffee and tea at the front desk. Small pool for the swimming with pleasant temperatures. Breakfast adequate and tasty. The staff is trying very hard to populate everything quite soon. Pleasant climate in the hotel.

It was very comfortable at this hotel. Breakfast was quite good and the staff were all nice. I paid a little extra for the jacuzzi room and it was well worth it.

This had to be the worst experience I have ever had and one of the reasons I only stay at Marriott brand hotels! I arrived at this hotel JULY 24TH 2015 and the front desk was kind and the building looked very clean. I check into my room 207 and the carpet is dirty stained I wore slippers my entire stay. This was so nasty to me it smelled old and didn't look like it has been shampooed in along time. Secondly, I am ready to snuggle with my fiancé as I pull back the sheets what do I see a BLOOD STAIN. Yea I know WTF right that's what I said my fiancé and I just wanted it to be like a juice stain but not at all pure BLOOD! I was so disappointed because I never wanted to be the guest that complains but that isn't it. The front desk brings me sheets and bless her heart because she was very kind hearted. There were cigarette burns the women came to my room three times before the sheets were at least decent. I call the manager today 7/29/15 and I spoke with JOHN who was absolutely no help. I explain my situation and the manager tells me that he can refund me my taxes back … sir are you SERIOUS! I chuckled because this was such a slap in the face I asked for the corporate number. I call corporate and they give me the number I speak to a women who is extremely nice but she offers me 100.00 after a 400.00 stay I am not pleased at all. I do not feel like I should have paid for my first night at all. I was tired after a long ASS drive and I had to wait to lay down.

Avoid if you have allergies. Poor housekeeping, vacuuming/dusting unsatisfactory even after complaints. Beds infested with dust mites. Mites this time of year are epidemic. Need mite covers on beds. They don't supervise housekeeping staff. .
