A very decent place to stay, they have a pool and provide breakfast. Inexpensive, clean, friendly, good convenient location and quiet.

Decent value, typical older Cape hotel, cleaning staff did good job, if you're mostly using it as a place to sleep, it's fine, has pool, basic cable, only complaint is Breakfast… Not even close to other neighboring hotel standards, if you're lucky there's cereal, maybe bagels, what was a plus for a few days was Espresso, and nice but occasionally glum former barista hostess made them into flavored iced drinks, However, Staff was so worried about the extra dollar if you drink two that they "ran out" next day… Silly since we tipped well, but no incentive to tip after it became self serve plain coffee again… Plus, friendly = good, but sometimes desk staff was too "familiar" or too glum for someone so young that may not know what real life tribulations are…, If you want fancy and aren't willing to put up with only 3 basic propane grills that might need a wheel and are maybe in front of another room 5 doors down then spend more money elsewhere… But for the Price I'd probably stay again, just don't expect much more than Apple Jack's cereal for continental breakfast…

Second time staying at the Olde Tavern Motel. Very spacious rooms. Good central location if you are exploring north and south of the location. Plenty of parking. Orleans has a wide variety of eateries and other businesses.

I highly recommend everyone stay here. The rooms are cozy and clean, there are grills for cooking out, a very nice pool area with floaties. There's breakfast in the morning. The staff is very friendly as well and always there to help with anything. Over all great place to stay!

A great little family owned motel. Clean, comfortable everything you need. Has a great outside heated pool. Great location in middle of town but set off road so very quiet. Close to highway so you can get to anywhere on cape easily. Family and employees are hands on and gladly help with anything you need. The price is right and can’t be beat!

Is there a minus star? We felt like we were in a bad 50’s movie. Heat wouldn’t work. Couldn’t reach anyone. Lock on door was loose. Bad choice. But there were sanitary napkin bags.

Manager Brendan is very helpful very polite And will do anything to help out a customer including giving up his personal microwave for somebody renting a room always have so welcome and will return anytime I am in the area.

Winter stay at a summer location. The room was musty smelling probably because it was off season. It was clean as motels go and would probably be more charming during the summer. Host was really nice and due for her new baby in a few weeks. We're not really motel people but if you are this would be a great stay.

Great staff, clean rooms, comfy beds and free coffee in the morning 10/10 will be back!

Looking for value, don’t shy away from this motel. Staff is very pleasant, rooms are spacious, close to a bunch of stores and beaches. The 5th star would likely require them to upgrade the rooms: drafty windows (a winter visit), cracked bathroom tiles, old fixtures & decor, and most painful… the mattresses (ouch). Clean but dated. The trade off would be that they could raise prices by 3x.

Comfortably nestled in off route 6A. Clean, quiet and scenic. Close to beaches and amenities.

Stayed at the Olde Tavern Inn recently and found it to be very charming and Quaint! The new remodel is very nice, the rooms are lovely and they have added a breakfast that was just Perfect! I love the history that is displayed in the main office and the young lady, Noelle, was a delight and so Helpful! I will definitely go back to the Old Tavern Inn again when we come back to the Cape! 4 stars fromantic me!

Though the man who greeted us was very helpful, and the price of the room for the night was very reasonable ($90) — which was to include a continental breakfast. Once our money had been taken — he was nowhere to be seen. Sandy wanted a hairdryer — no man! Breakfast, which was advertised as being from 7.30 — 9.30, again — no man! The air conditioning unit sounded dreadful, and was just able to drown out the noise of the fridge.
It was clean and tidy, and within walking distance of a number of restaurants/eating places.

I like this place I'm not choosey can I spend another night I'm in room120 I have my own place in Orleans the paint is not quite there yet one more day would be nice let me know ok it's nice to be alone once in a while plus I really like it here I don't sleep that much here I can pay you have a nice night.

Great place with a ton of history. Beautiful pond's near by for fishermen. The rooms we're nice and cozy freshly painted and beautiful landscape. Pool in the back is great for the kids on a hot summer day. Good family atmosphere! :)

Hotel has had a full make-over. Fresh paint inside and out, new bedding, landscaping enhanced, expanded breakfast. Slowly the place is coming back to life and the whole family is working to make your stay fun and memorable.

Great Cape classic! its been there longer than I remember, family owned. They are nice people with clean cozy room, exactly what you expect when visiting the cape in summer or winter. Looking forward to going back next month.

We showed up early hoping to get the check in stuff out of the way… told to come back at two oclock. Well we did and had to wait for an hour and a half while the checkin person showed three other groups of people their rooms. Really… just give me the keys and let me go! One of the reasons we chose that motel was the continental breakfast… to save money and time. It was supposed to begin at 8:30. By quarter to ten we gave up … dropped the keys in the mailbox and left. We spent an extra ten dollars and a half hour grabbing breakfast. Might as well have said no breakfast or coffee. Perhaps a coffee machine in the room would have helped. My allergy ridden son was a bit peeved that the room cleaners neglected to give us tissues. Not sure if I would go back.

Relatively low cost motel with minimal room decor and somewhat noisy AC. The bed was actually very comfortable, the room a decent size and there was a quiet space outside for sitting. Nothing fancy but we'd stay there again.

Not bad for one of the older motels in the area. It's not a luxury vacation here so look elsewhere for that. Good value for the price. Beds were very comfortable! No frills budget motel. We'd stay here again.

A great experience! Kid friendly, close to beaches. Restaurants and activities, friendly staff, great place to stay…
