This is our “go to” place to stay in Vegas. The suites are beautiful. Spa services are great! Restaurants are wonderful, and that $15, 000 I went home with last time was the icing on the cake! Excellent experience all around!

We liked everything. Highlight was the gym and Spa. For $30 you can enjoy the Spa that has amazing amenities and is not crowded. The bad part was the Air quality in the hotel gami g area… it could be improved.

Great throw back hotel and casino to when Vegas offered free or cheap drinks and eats. Table minimums are affordable. Staff are very friendly. Feels like a local spot. Love it!

I didn't stay. I just came for the day to see a show. The casino is very clean and doesn't have that stale cigarette smell that you get from the Casinos on the strip. Plenty of bathrooms and bars throughout. Great restaurant choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved that there's a bowling alley, movie theater and an arcade in the hotel. Bingo was fun. When I come back to stay, would definitely stay here.

Thank you South Point for a fun filled and exciting time. We won big time! The Executive Slot Host was generous. And the buffets were delicious; I think the only hotel that has breakfast, lunch and dinner at a reasonable price. We will always stay at South Point. ❤️😊

First time, and absolutely enjoy it! Wonderful staff with responding to questions that me and my boyfriend have. So many things to do especially since we’re vacationing here for six days!

So we just got back from our first stay at Southpoint yesterday. There are definitely pros and cons to the place.
Pros: the food was very good. Staff very welcoming and friendly, large spacious rooms. Cons: I have to say as a frequent traveler all over, I have stayed in many many hotel rooms, the beds here are the worst in any room I've ever stayed in. Hard as a rock, very uncomfortable and they give you two pillows that are as flat as a pancake. Had to ask for extra pillows. My back even hurt the next day after sleeping on that bed. They really need to step it up in the bedding department for sure. The slots were also very tight.

Love this place. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Great place off the strip if you have kids. Will definitely be back. On-site movie thater and bowling a plus.

I found this hotel one of the best on the strip, reason being very clean excellent customer service, the hotel is bright and clean. Food is not that expensive if you don't need to leave the hotel you don't have to everything is there for your convenience.

Staff are awesome, amenities are second to none. So many things to do, you will not want to leave. Wanna see a movie, no problem, wanna go bowling, no problem, wanna catch a show, no problem, wanna lose some money in the casino, no problem and of course if you wanna eat till your hearts content no problem. They have steak houses, deli’s hot dog stand, buffet and even a Steak ‘n Shake all in house. South pointe is the place to be.

Was just there over the weekend and it was great. The staff is wonderful. Many restaurants to choose from. Went to the Silverado Steakhouse, that was wonderful. We are locals and we’ll definitely be back there for staycation! Loved it!

The rooms were great, staff was nice and helpful, Casino had good amenities (including a bowling alley, 14 theater movie plex, 11 restaurants and a huge reasonably priced selection of alcohol in the gift shop). As the previous reviewer noted, the buffet is under construction and had 5 stations open and the food was hit and miss. Some things we had were good and others not so much. The prime rib I had was very tasty and about medium rare (which is perfect for me) and the horseradish sauce was really good.

I actually just left the hotel just after 12 noon and checked out after staying 2 days. The hotel room was huge and clean and nicely done and the staff was very nice. I do have to say the buffet was a dud, part of it was closed down as to remodel and so selection was small. They did give a discounted price for that, honestly the quality of the food wasn’t so good! We paid $12 for dinner buffet when in reality it should have been only like $6-$7. Small selection and prime rib was way too rare even for a end piece still had blood and was just too pink! Stuffing looked gross. All I ate was a small salad a piece of turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy. Ate at the cafe and their food was way better and actually cheaper! Slot machines way too tight and didn’t win a thing they sucked my money so quick! I would stay there again for the room but not to eat or gamble there!

I visit Las Vegas once a year from Australia, I have stayed on the strip & at South Point before, I checked in on the 4th of June check out on the 8th of June & Checked back in on the 17th to the 22nd, I found South point excellent value for money, both times the rooms smoking rooms which is what I wanted were extremely clean & quite, the bed was comfortable as were the pillows,
there was no fridge in the room, but an ice machine down the hall, I felt the coffee making facilities could have been better but its not enough to stop me from returning, all of the staff I encountered were pleasant to deal with
it suited me the location of South point
and I enjoyed my stay, I'm not sure if those staying there have access to private or better parking then those just visiting? it was frustrating to find a park out front? overall I recommend South point as clean & excellent value for money.
I'll definitely be back unless you make it non smoking as I love that you can smoke most places there.

Great hotel lower-priced lower volume layout is simple and easy to remember not within walking distance of the action on the strip but it has everything you need at the hotel. The pool area is quite pathetic compared to the big dogs in Vegas but fit my needs as a 1 night hotel as I pass through town.

Great place to eat and have a nice time. Oysterbar is THE BEST! Great food! Get there early on the weekend to avoid a semi long wait. If you're willing to sit at the bar you can get in faster. Really cool set up. The Pan Roast is my favorite but you really can't go wrong with any selection! Great price for what you get. About $18 — $23.

Nice facilities, clean and inviting rooms, although the bed was too stiff for my liking. Love the theater on property and the horse arena!

For experienced Las Vegas fans, this hotel is great. Not as hectic an atmosphere as on the Strip. In 10 minutes you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Parking is even free here.

First time staying there. Nice little hotel and casino. Parking garage is ample in size and easy to maneuver in. Casino is not gigantic, but big enough. Lots and lots of places to eat in the casino. Room was really nice and large. Everything worked fine and bed was comfortable. We had a nice view of the pool. We never went to use it, but it looks good. Overall good experience and would consider staying there again to be away from the craziness of the strip.

Kind of like an indoor city. This place has pretty much everything inside. Nice rooms, clean all over. Cheap food prices, especially late/early, but name no mistake, it is cheap food. Plenty of other options for rays though as well. Has regular shows, evendone free ones. Full round of gaming. Large variety of slots and video machines. Has most all table games, etc… from what I could tell. Dealers and pit bosses were friendly and helpful. Movie theater, which looks decent. Bowling alley as well from what I understand, but didn't see it first hand. Definitely a one stop kinda place.

We went to the Coronado Cafe for dinner. Our group of 10 were seated fairly quickly so that was a plus. The price was ok and the serving size was good. Each meal was more than enough to fill our stomachs. However, the quality of the food could've been better. A burger we ordered medium was just barely rare and the sweet and sour chicken was nothing to be proud of. The chicken was hard and crunchy and the sauce wasn't all that great either. Not only that, but the rice wasn't very sticky and I prefer sticky rice. The wait staff was very friendly and were refilling our drinks whenever they were empty, or close to it. Though the food want necessarily bad, I'd definitely try a different restaurant the next time I'm out there.

Good place to go if you have a family, since there is lots to do. Downfalls? It's a little far from the strip, so you can't walk. Ups? There is a bowling alley, theatre, some shopping for the families. If traveling alone, the casino is clean & inviting. The buffet there is not bad, too! Lots of Vegas locals come this casino, as it's close to the residential area.

Last but not least the gambling through the entire center is massive. I'm not a gambler but if I were, I'd have lots to entertain myself with. I'll definitely go again the next time I'm in Vegas.

Lovely hotel and casino. We started here for the weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and staff is v very friendly. We attended a time share presentation for an upgrade package even though we were definitely not interested we still got free gifts which was cool. The pool was great. The restaurants were good just a bit pricey but it's expected in Vegas. A great time overall.

Best local hotel and casino off the strip. Casino is well taken care of and the rooms are suites. I also highly recommend their spa, Costa di Mare. It's one of the only couples spa in Vegas. Can't even tell you how much I loved it. Mt boyfriend and I got the sugar scrub spa package that included a fantastic massage. If you pay for a service you can use their spa all day. I am actually looking forward to going back to Vegas just so I can go to the spa here and play their fantastic wheel of fortune slots.

Always enjoyed my stay here. Close enough to the Strip or Old Town if you need to get there. They have great amenities for everyone. Reasonable prices to stay. Our room was outstanding. Would recommend this place to anyone interested staying at Vegas.

Service at restaurants was very poor. Did not enjoy any of our meals here. The amenities were very nice. Rooms are decent. I would not recommend staying here if you are wanting the best experience. If you are visiting with children then I would recommend staying here because the of movie theatre, pool & bowling.

Large hotel and casino. It's a long walk to rooms from any entrance including the parking garage. A good value and not much of a drive to the strip. I'd recommend it and the coupons when you check in add to the value. Lots of venues for many activities on site as well. The food is great.

Took my girlfriend here for a Valentine's spa weekend. Everything was awesome and our spa experience was amazing. We did the couples Honey Do's with the hot rock message. I highly recommend going to South Point and utilizing the spa services.

This casino/hotel is the total package, something for everyone, and you can come to Vegas and spend your entire time within its walls and not feel like you've missed out on anything. Great restaurant selection (hello familiar Steak n Shake! ). And Vegas's best race and sports book, in my opinion, open 24/7. A solid value. "Joints" like this are a dying breed in Vegas. It's a modern version of old Vegas service.

Great staff! Pam and Miranda were extremely helpful and made sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The horse riding competition going on in the arena was fun to watch. The pool was not overcrowded. The buffet was great and the waitress we had was efficient and friendly. The late night steak and eggs at the restaurant was good and the waitress was quick and very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Didn't do too bad on the machines either!

We've stayed here a few times, and it never disappoints. We love the nice rooms and gift shop with tons of great items. Slots and bingo are favorite activities for us… So much to do, you never have to leave. The pool is beautiful and clean. We love the hot dog stand for a very cheap lunch option. The staff are all so nice, too. Can't wait for our next visit. There is a free shuttle to/from the airport. Great perk!

Great place for locals and visiting from out of town. A quality hotel at a great price! Lots of amenities including an Equestrian Arena, Bowling lanes, Arcade, Movie theaters, A full service Spa and Salon, Fitness center, A full service old time Barber Shop. So much to comment positive about the South Point! Also so many wonderful restaurants with AMAZING FOOD! Great guest services and friendly employees! The hotel rooms are really nice they do have smoke free rooms as well as entire floors. I would not recommend eating the the buffet. The cafe on the other had serves great meal any time of the day. The casino has an over over intoxicating smell of smoke all over the casino floor. I wish they would have a better ventilation system that would use an exhaust to remove some of the smoke.

Great place to go to place bets. Hotel rooms are very nice. Always great there… no complaints here. They do not make u get up and leave if you are sitting at a slot machine, and you are not playing, like most casinos do. Also have free parking. Cute arcade and bowling for kids next to the theatre. Free comedy show every friday at 1230am… so Saturday morning… its called, Dirty at 30, so they use a lot of adult jokes. Great for locals and tourists.

Spacious rooms, clean, good Casino. If you want to stay away from the bustling Boulevard this hotel is recommended.

Free Valet parking, buffet excellent and very good price.

The drinks are absolutely horrible, but they are really cheap so pick something that they can't screw up. The best thing about this place is the Spazmatics 80's tribute band which is absolutely awesome, doesn't cost a lot to go to their concert, and has a huge venue that you can dance and have cocktails and the best time of your life. I highly recommend you go there specifically just for them it is the best part of Las Vegas. The hotel is not near the strip, it is before you get into the city but it's not far from it. So you can probably get cheaper rooms there if you can't afford to stay on the strip.

Nice hotel. I used to work front desk here when it first opened and it was a cool place to work with a nice atmosphere. The management was great and the owner of the place is a really nice guy which makes it that much better. The customers were pretty laid back too… a lot of cowboys and cool people. Dining options are great and the place is always really clean. I recommend South Point.

My wife and I go to the movies here, occasionally. Normally during their reduced price times (Tuesdays, I think). It isn't usually too crowded, and the seats are comfortable. The popcorn is good, and they'll do deals on their food (e. G. 2 for $6 on candy). Check in advance for when the deals are, if that's why you're going. Also, they do serve alcohol. Not sure if that's restricted to certain theaters or if you can take it into any theater.

I stayed here several nights. The hotel and casino could use an update, but the room and bathroom were incredibly clean and quiet. This hotel is further from The Strip than it looks on a map and the shuttle service is a little strange and costly. Still, there are several options for restaurants here, which I appreciate, and there's a theater and bowling alley. I'd recommend staying here to anyone not looking to be by the strip, but to still enjoy the Vegas experience. Also, the pool area is nice, but the water was too cold to enjoy.

Fabulous south-Strip destination with entertainment geared especially toward the older generations. More laid back environment compared to the other Las Vegas Boulevard casino/hotels. Lots of restaurants, huge gambling areas, premier sportsbook and multiple large seating areas for relaxing and watching various sporting events.

Great hotel if you're looking to stay away from the strip. If you don't want that party vibe then this is your place! Also pro tip the pool is open until 10pm so you can swim basically all day which is unheard of in Vegas. They even have a movie theater and bowling so it is great for the whole family! Bingo is a blast and goes on all day. The food is good at almost all of the restaurants. It is truly like a little city in there. If you're looking to go to the strip they do have a shuttle from the hotel so you don't even need to rent a car to stay here!

Ate at the Coronado cafe. Mostly quick service, though we ordered our drinks and then had three more people ask us about taking our drink order. Found out that the first person who took the order had gone on break and left the drinks. Other than that, the food was good. The waiter was attentive. Will eat here again. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and the variety of things there was to do. Not staying on the strip was nice having a calmed trip with just as much fun. And it's great if you want a day to stay inside between, bingo, the movies and a bowling alley there's something for everyone. And their buffet was very good!

Large rooms and bathrooms, less chic and pompous than the hotels on the strip. By the distance to the attractions is a car recommended.
