We had a newly updated Baker Suite. It was very clean and the jacuzzi tub in room was amazing. Quiet area near the water would def. Recomend.

Clean and updated for a great price!

The room was nice and clean, check in and out was fast, the motel was in the middle of the downtown, so everything was close. The only thing was parking, our spot right next to the room was taken and we couldn't find another parking nearby. So we parked by what we thought was hotel property and turned out to be someones private parking and they demanded $50 for it.

Friendly staff, better than average breakfast, clean rooms and comfortable beds. A good choice for a night's rest.

Affordable, very clean, close to the ferry, and within walking distance of an amazing Italian restaurant, Ciao Bella. Would stay again if in the area.

We drove 14 hours to be up here for my brother in laws funeral. This place looked clean and got great reviews so we booked a room for 3 nights. We’ve only been in the room to sleep and change. Last night we got in around 1am after spending time with family and seeing a movie. There was a sticky note on the door telling us to see the front desk. However they were closed so we couldn’t. Then some kid starts pounding on our door at 7am and tells us the owner kicked us out and we were supposed to leave last night? We’re obviously confused and have no idea what’s going on. He tells us we’re kicked out for smoking marijuana in our room. We don’t even smoke! He says the owner smelled it around 6-7 at night. We haven’t been our room at all at this point other than 10 minutes to change around 5. He continues to accuse us and call us a liar. Request to talk to someone else but he will not listen. After an hour he says we’re fine and can talk to the owners when they get in. But he wants to “inspect our room” and they are “watching us”. Needless to say this is unacceptable and we are now being treated like criminals for something we didn’t do. We have one more night in town as we are burying my husbands brother this morning and I am stressed they are going to be in our room and touching our stuff while we are there or throw us out. They are refusing to give me my money back so I can go to another hotel also. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was super big, comfy, and modern with a bit of sea-side comfort.

Very nice rooms. But don't stay there. Managers /Owners accused me of smoking, because some guys staying across from me kept smoking with door to outside wide open. I tried to say I wasn't me smoking anything, I wasn't even awake.! They woke me after banging on my door at 7am! I answered the door startled, I had no idea what was happening and in a night shirt. To be told to leave immediately. I was on vacation. And. Note, I was upstairs in the hotel and had been sleeping at least 6 hours.! So super weird. Id been there almost 2 paid weeks! So I'm sure if I was the problem they'd of known all the times I stayed there. They had no problem taking my $1750 for staying 12 nights. I was told rudely to leave the hotel (after I'd paid in full) and been a perfect guest for 2 weeks, and had 3 more days on my booked and paid for time in the Suite Room. It was a really strange experience. I also had stuff disappear from my room. Random things, make up, clothes, it didn't feel very safe. I was later told by a manager at the time (who was fired not long after) that they, the OWNERS HAD "up rented" my room, at a higher price, to someone else. So They needed the room guess. So they made me leave 3 nights before my PAID IN ADVANCE TIME was up. I had to go thru credit card company for a refund. I had stayed there SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS with absolutely no problem. I won't stay there again. As a single female & return customer, it was very unsettling.

My daughter and I stayed here for several nights and found the room comfortable and we felt safe. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family. I wouldn’t trust their restaurant recommendations as I think they are tied into the place adjacent to them, and there are MUCH MUCH better options in Anacortes.

This is a gem of a hotel, with nice staff, cozy roomy rooms, and a central location. I recommend this hotel for business travel or a weekend get away from the city.

The new ownership is investing money and time into helping out this Inn. The bathrooms are redone, and the hotel breakfast is definitely convenient.

Convenient location near the mouth of the Tommy Thompson trail and the Market grocery store. Clean, large rooms furnished with pots and pans. Underwhelming but sufficient breakfast.

As with any lodging, satisfaction depends on what you are looking for. Sunrise Inn is a quiet, traditional hotel, offering moderate accomodations, but more than adequate if what you need is a clean, comfortable place for one or more nights. No large staff, shops, bar, etc. To increase the price.

Beautiful view, most comfortable bed ever! Kind service, quiet, clean and Continental breakfast was good and portable to take back to room.

The room was great. The only problem was that it was too hot and the heater in the bathroom wouldn't turn off.

Beautiful room jetted tub was relaxing very quiet. Customer service from the office was great. The only thing that didn't work was the fireplace. We will be booking our stay at the Sunrise Inn again soon. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

The room should have been a queen bed, but it ended up being a double. The staff was not knowledgeable during check in with their own software, causing me to return to the front desk to pay the remainder of the balance that they didn't charge me for the first time. The room was clean enough but dark and the shower water pressure was barely a trickle. I probably would not stay here again unless I was desperate and broke.

Enjoyed the stay. Room/building was a bit stuffy even with AC on max but nice overall.

Poor experience and customer service. Do not stay here unless you enjoy unexpected extra charges. We chose to stay at the sunrise inn due to its location but were extremely disappointed by the management and extra charges added to the room after booking through the website. In this age of internet booking, this hotel has not figured out the appropriate way to do things. This is my first negative review I have ever posted.

Because I put cig buts in the trash the 1, evicted me and 2 charged me for a deep cleaning fee… People I am an old soldier, I put the butts in my pocket when out and about and don't litter. On my honor these folks are wicked sucky… I did not smoke in their shitty room.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed at a horrible horrible place multiple issues the biggest one is there was blood from the previous person stay there on the sheets and then at the end of the day when we got back there was blood still on the sheets the maid hadn't even change the sheets but accused my husband of smoking in the room because they found cigarette butts in the trash he's conscientious and doesn't throw them out on the ground just gross I'm an ER nurse in the bio hazard with the blood was just gross I have a picture here I'll show you.

Very clean, and well kept. This historic house is independently run. Very nice location close to the San Juan Islands. Not overpriced. A great deal in Anacortes.
