My one complaint is that this chain is dog friendly. I realize people do bring their dogs with them when traveling, but they should have a separate wing for them. Since I was awaken both nights by barking dogs, I would probably not stay at another Marriot for this reason. I have difficulty falling asleep, so to be disturbed after I do is upsetting. I feel badly being negative because everything else about the hotel was top notch!

We went to Missoula to see Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater. In spite of it also being a home game at U of M, we were able to get a room reservation the day before we needed it. When we checked in, we had to wait a while because there were quite a few people checking in and only one person was working. Not only was she required to check everybody in, but also answer the phone. Being in the customer service business myself, I felt bad for her. She remained calm, was very professional, courteous, and portrayed a willingness to help. We had a sweet suite! Two queen beds in separate rooms, "living room", and fully equipped kitchenette. We were there only long enough to sleep and shower, but this suite is more than adequate for a long-term stay. The bed was very comfortable! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, however the decor was odd! One bonus is that they provide a free breakfast. It was nothing mind blowing, but served its purpose! I highly recommend starting at this hotel on your overnight stay in Missoula!

Not only is this a great hotel, but the staff is excellent! I want to give a special shout out to Racquel and Alyssa who arranged for me to keep two large shipping crates for a week and a half, even though I wasn't at this hotel for the entire time. They were extremely helpful and friendly, and I'm totally appreciative for what they did. I highly recommend this hotel, not only for the accommodations, but for the hospitality. You can't go wrong!

My son and I were on our way to Seattle, Washington. We had to drive across the country, all the way from the State of New York. Tired, stranded, in need of good rest, I called Marriott Rewards to only find out that no one could help me: one of the associates hung up on me, the other one couldn’t even comprehend what I needed. In despair, I found the closest hotel number along our way. I called the number, and a front desk attendant named Alyssa answered the phone. All I needed to do is to tell her that we are tired and would like to stay in their hotel… Alyssa did the rest! She booked a room for us, she called the Marriott Rewards and obtained the certificate number. All that we had to do is to get to the hotel safely, and Alyssa did the rest! We commend Alyssa for the outstanding job she did and grateful to her for her help. We recommend everybody to come and stay at the Towne Place of Missoula Montana. Pavel and Sammy.

So I'm on day 48 living here of what could be about 80 total days (apartment wasn't ready and they placed me here). I cannot explain the gratitude and friendlyness of everyone everyday! The service is amazing and they show how much they truly care about each guest here. I am so glad I've gotten the opportunity to be here! Thank you guys for being the temporary family making a hotel feel like a home!

The best of the best! I'm in the service industry myself; stayed for a month for out of state business. Its hard to impress me, but the people at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Missoula know what they're doing. Their service and quality is unrivaled thus far in my travels, no two ways. Keep it up, you guys and gals are unrivaled!

I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. Our family of 8 booked 2 rooms in December (card was charged) and showed up in June with our conformation information and was told that our reservations were canceled TODAY. We received great rates then the city started booking up for a golf tournament and they realized they could make more money by offering higher rates to other customers. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Please save your time, energy and money and book a reliable hotel other than TownPlace Suites.

The Towneplace Suites in Missoula went above and beyond for us during our stay. I can't say enough good about their amenities and staff. The location is ideal as well. We will definitely stay here whenever we are in Missoula.

Recommended by a friend. LOVED STAYING HERE! Staff was so willing to help even in the middle of the night. Breakfast was amazing and full of choices. Rooms were clean, bed was so comfy. The ability to cook in your room is the best. Saves from having to leave to go eat. Just take your groceries and cook right there. Cozy, warm and almost like home.

Large clean rooms. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very pet friendly too! Gave us a treat bag for the pup.

Nice, clean, visit! Friendly staff and easy to work with. Very kid friendly, nice pool, and wonderful breakfast! They also have plenty of space in the rooms and full kitchenette. We will be back!

We've stayed there a few times and consider it a good choice. The TownePlace Suites division of Marriott has a different modern design compared to other Marriotts. Friendly. Good convenient location by the Reserve overpass in Missoula. Just a few blocks from I-90. Close to Reserve shopping and restaurants, such as Cafe Rio next to Target.

Nice place to stay away from the busiest part of Missoula. The front desk staff are friendly & the room service found us a wine cork after the one in the room broke! I appreciate that the staff paid attention to non guests using the pool and hot tub.

Towne Place really took great care of us when an unexpected death of a friend happened. They were so accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms were amazing and they honestly have everything you need to make your trip complete. I would highly recommend Towne Place and will definitely stay again. Thank you for all you did for us.

The best hotel I’ve stayed at in a very long time. The amenities and attention to the things you might need during your stay were perfect. Kitchenette was perfectly stocked. Closet spaces were ample and felt homey with a laundry basket supplied. I’m an OTR truck driver and my truck was getting fixed for 3 days. My stay felt very relaxing and I felt like I had my own apartment in Missoula staying here. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were just frikin amazing and friendly. The mini convenience store downstairs was perfect and I spent a lot of money there lol. The heated pool and jacuzzi was perfect. IHOP and big box stores are a short walk away.

The property was well kept and the staff was friendly. Provided a breakfast that included two hot items (eggs and sausage rounds) and a waffle station. If in the area, it is definitely a nice place to stay. There are a few eating establishments near the hotel but access to a vehicle may be preferred.

Wonderful service, accommodations were plenty and clean. Quiet. Nicely furnished.

Room was great. Front desk attendant needs some lessons in class. Had my card decline (we were traveling so it was a security thing) and she was very rude about it. Paid cash but will never go back.

Super friendly staff and CLEAN hotel. Pool is outside which is the only bummer. Good is good and it's located next to all the shops and a movie theater. My 1st choice of places to stay when I come to Missoula.

Was a great stay. Service was good, breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the staff were all wonderful people.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and well furnished. It seems the interior of the hotel has been recently renovated. Everything felt new. The kitchenette was well stocked. The bed was very nice. We would happily stay here again.

A very clean and quiet hotel with a lot of home-like amenities with a miniature kitchen, two closets, a desk and couch. The miniature kitchen is equipped with a small 2 burner glass stive top, a deep sink, a small refrigerator, cabinets, drawers, a dishwasher and glass dishes (plates, mugs, bowls, pint glasses, & salad dishes — 4 of each), limited cookware (colander, cutting board, mixing bowl, measuring cup, pot and pan with lids), cutlery of set of 8 for knives, forks, spoons, one large spoon and spatula. The hotel offers breakfast from 7 till 10 and also includes a gym, swimming pool with a hot tip and a bbq cooking area with lots of patio furniture. There is a printing service offered for those who are staying to conduct business matters and each room has an Ethernet cable to use with a laptop. Overall was a very nice place to stay and enjoyed the room.

Great location in Missoula. Close to plenty of shopping and food, only 3 miles from downtown and 2 miles from the airport. Rooms are really nice, staff is friendly, prices are very reasonable and the location is really quiet. My room was next to the pool and I still didn't hear anything. Will definitely stay again.

We went to visit a relative staying at the hotel. The facilities are nice, clean and orderly. Guest rooms are well appointed and clean and there is a very nice pool and grill area.

Besides Google maps ending on the street in front of the actual street that leads to the parking lot, our experience at the Marriott was great! We took full advantage of the gym, outdoor recreation area and outdoor pool. Our room had a modern look to it with it's own kitchen and cooking items. Again greatly impressed!

Great staff and wonderful amenities. Took advantage of the large outdoor patio and BBQ. Pool is outdoors but heated. There is also a hot tub. Decent fitness room. Breakfast has everything you really need and won't leave hungry.

On a whole, we had a very positive experience. I was staying the night with my husband and two of our children. I arrived first with our daughter and my husband came later with our son who is in a wheelchair. When I checked in I realized my husband did not request an accessible room. The only thing he really needed was a bathroom that could fit his wheelchair. The gentleman at the front desk was more than accommodating. He took me up to show me the room so I can ensure my son would be able to get in the bathroom. It was big enough for him. The only negative was that there was a car parked in a handicap parking spot with no handicap placard or sticker and all the other handicapped spots were taken. Although that is not a fault of the hotel my son was unable to park and get out of his car without assistance.

Nice, newer hotel. Roomy. Firm beds. Breakfast typical hotel breakfast. Great staff. Cannot book a Saturday stay without staying on Sunday, which caused us to have to move hotels for Saturday.

Loved the setup, outside space and laundry area. Great place to stay and awesome breakfast.

The staff here make the hotel great. They are attentive, kind, and outgoing. The accommodations are newer and the room was nice. The beds are not too hard but they are still hotel beds. The pillows have no structure and are flat all through the night. On par with all other Marriott properties.

Fairly nice and well priced.

First time for everything. Dirty room. Was here less than a week ago, and perfect room. Customer service is excellent tho. The room was so dirty, I decided to not even lay in the bed. Hair, towels on the floor, smelled like cigarettes. Not to impressed with this visit. I choose Marriott because family/friends work for Marriott, the rooms are always clean, and the service is always great. Just not this time. : (

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the customer service here. The lady, I think Nandeeta was very friendly and even helped me and my family after hours as well as brought extra blankets up to our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is one of the more expensive hotels which surprised me when I got there and there were practically no amenities. No breakfast at 9 am because everything was literally gone. They have a snack section for kids that starts at $3 for a tiny can of soup. If you're willing to drive a mile down the road there are plenty of restaurants, but it's not exactly convenient. There are at least 20 better hotels within six blocks of this one, so keep driving and get something better. The old woman who runs the desk is extremely slow and dimwitted. She had to keep asking the tech guy how to do the simplest of things. I felt uneasy giving her my credit card. Our reservation was for a ground floor room, but she gave it to someone else and we ended up on the fourth floor. Would never go here again.

The suites are nice but not separated into bed/living areas. Continental breakfast is good, but it is limited when compared to some other similar places. Unfortunately, we needed the separated rooms.

Staff was a little preoccupied with training a new person. First stay at a hotel with full kitchen, dishwasher, full size fridge, two burner flat top and overhead microwave. Enough space to comfortably use my laptop for work and eat dinner before bed. Only stayed one night but would have been comfortable working for a full week in my room.

We stayed for a little over a week. Best place to stay. Rooms are awesome. The outside area very nice. We used the grill and played basketball. Will stay here again.

Treated like GOLD! I felt like a VIP! The staff was the best hotel staff I have ever encountered! This is the ONLY place we will stay every time we come to Missoula!

Very cozy — full kitchen — desk and couch — why I gave the star rating was the outdoor pool — breakfast is very average — we never ate the complimentary breakfast as we eat mostly organic food — the main lobby smells like Frebreeze — which is toxic — very strong when you come in — besides these things we enjoyed our time here.

Everything was great, but the room service literally was half assed. Expect nothing more than garbage taken out, bed made, and carpet vacuumed. Anything more you'll have to complain for. I stayed for over a month and bathroom and kitchen were never cleaned and the sheets never changed (my coworkers also complained of the same issues). Internet service is worse than most hotels I been to as well. Front staff and the rooms are nice!

We stayed here for a week and honestly loved it we were sad to leave they have the most comfortable beds with a full kitchen this was nicer than all the hotels we have ever stayed in the staff is really nice and the pool and hot tubs were very clean and blue they have BBQ grills basketball court a fire pit and their rooms are huge.
