Terrible experience. When I checked into my room, I took a nap. I did not know the hotel left an ozone generator running in my room. I woke up hardly able to breathe and with a sharp burning sensation in my lungs. I found the generator, turned it off and noticed all these health hazards printed on it, along with "not intended for use in enclosed rooms". EPA, FDA, and OSHA all have strict regulations on ozone generator use, which Trump Hotels just threw out the window. I complained to front desk. They moved me to a new room after the house keeping manager assured me there's no health hazard to breathing in high doses of ozone (total BS). They told me I would not be compensated in any way beyond a room upgrade, which I didn't even want. They said they'd send their medical team to perform an evaluation on me. Their medical team turned out to be a security guard (totally clueless about the situation) whose only service was to call paramedics for me. I can do that myself. They had oxygen tanks there on site for medical incidents, which they refused to offer me. Ultimately, they ended up doing nothing. Customer service is NOT a priority there. Front desk "manager" was rude. She fully acknowledged they harmed me and other guests of my room, but wasn't willing to compensate us beyond a relocated room. Needless to say, being unable to breathe ruined my night and I was unable to enjoy the plans I had made. All because Trump Hotel insisted on using equipment not intended for indoor use and failed to notify guests such a device was left running. Then upon check out, they tried charging me a $28 resort fee. For poisoning me with ozone. Are you kidding me.
