The rooms look nothing like the website. Calling the description online generous would be stretching it to say the least. They must have pulled four stars by counting them in the sky. Everything is dated and worn. The food at the various restaurants is bland, greasy, and overpriced. I paid $9 for an iced coffee and a blueberry muffin that was still batter in the middle! Also, we had booked three nights here but they only had two on the books! At first I was mad but it's actually a blessings in disguise. I don't want another night here, not that they even attempted to remedy the situation beyond saying I was SOL. When we got to our room there was a cloud of mosquitoes around the door (external entry). It was impossible to enter the room without letting in mosquitoes. Then they land on the ceiling and you can't even kill them because the ceiling is made of plaster inserts! There were still mosquito guts from the last (several? ) patron's attempts to rid the room of pests. Getting to sleep was impossible. The air conditioner was old, loud, and finicky. I just stayed up all night on my phone instead. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Literally anything that can be terrible about a hotel is, here. The bath even has peeling paint! I'm surprised that they haven't been sued by the Four Seasons corporation because they're damaging their brand, even though they're completely unaffiliated. I have one more night here. At least I'm not paying for it since I'm traveling with my wife for a conference.
