Review of Days Inn 2*

MY room was clean and, VERY comfortable. Although, it did smell like someone recently smoked in this NO Smoking room. The people in the room next to mine were taken to jail for fighting. Unfortunately when you stay in a hotel that has low rates you find a less than desirable element also staying there. Obvious by some of the other posts reporting finding leftover drug paraphernalia etc. MY room did NOT have any evidence of such. I DO thank the Local Police for coming quickly and restoring the peace and, tranquility of this property. As soon as they left the rest of the guests were all very quiet. The Rooms on the second floor have a vaulted wooden ceiling with wood beams and are extremely attractive. Beautiful Room! At some time this was a Magnificent Hotel/Motel. IF you like your room warm in the winter you'll LOVE this place cause the heat will knock you right out of the room IF you keep it turned on high. I had to turn mine off and open the door and window into the hall to cool it off. The HVAC is like many older properties its either AC or heat for the entire building depending on season and what management has determined prudent. During my stay… Heat. The room DID cool off nicely in no time at all and, I was very comfortable especially after the noisy neighbor was taken away. I felt really bad for the kids. I almost posted her bond. I don't know exactly what transpired however, it seemed odd that the man and woman had some type of fight and SHE was taken away while the Police questioned him about his alleged drug use/abuse. Oh well. I guess common sense got the best of me and I remained silent and, sequestered IN my room. I really did come very close to posting her bail for the kids sake alone. But, maybe this will serve as a wake up call to them? Only HE knows. I truly hope the best for those babies! To be subject to such vulgar language. I can only pray for those babies. God help them! Yes, I AM VERY Sad for those innocent little babies.
