Great food and awesome staff! The wedge salad with steak tips is amazing.

Enjoyed our stay at this simple yet accommodating Motel. Freshly reopened restaurant had tasty food, good servers, but maybe need a little help when they get busy. Overall wonderful place and am looking forward to staying again.

An ok place. TV's a bit small but the bed is comfy and the room is clean. The price per night is $68 + tax… nice digs for the bucks.

While it's your typical roadside motel, it's over priced. The bed was quite hard, but had good water pressure in the shower.

Recently spent a night there in a room for six. It was clean, and the staff was friendly. However, the room had a distinctly musty scent, and two of the three mattresses were way too flimsy or hard. The breakfast offering was also very modest. All in all it was fine for the price but probably wouldn't return.

The bar and restaurant are permanently closed. Breakfast was juice and coffee. However, the rooms were clean and the property was well maintained. Overall a decent stay for travelers on a budget.

Night of 23 to 24 July 2017, room 119 spotlessly clean and well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker to make coffee, hair dryer and ironing facilities laundry. Wi-fi A-1 everywhere. Breakfast included in the beautiful dining room of the restaurant which is closed 3 days per week. It includes oatmeal, cereal, mini quiches, toast and coffee. We paid the excellent rate of $69.00 for a total of $78.39 with tax. The rates are excellent compared to other accommodation in the city. We can do our washing free of charge. Superb outdoor terrace or the restaurant. One caveat for the flies that come in the room then don't leave your bedroom door open too long. We highly recommend this charming, family-run motel is very well run by a couple very correct.

The air conditioning was so loud we couldn't use it. I need cool air. Very disappointing. Better ck unit before it blows up.

Had a very nice stay. Clean rooms friendly staff. The Neon Bar and Grill made one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to everyone.

Raine Motel is a nice, clean motel located just at the edge of town as you enter Valentine, Nebraska. My husband and I have stayed there twice on river tubing trips. There's a restaurant attached with a great outside dining area. The people are nice, the beds are comfy, and the bathrooms are cute with pink subway tile. Nothing too fancy here, and the comforters could use updating, but always a pleasant experience at Raine!

The Neon Grill in The Raine Motel is the place to get a great meal. Seating is limited inside, but they have a nice patio area where you can also dine. The food is always amazing, from the BBQ to the steak I've never been disappointed.

Great price for the rooms, they were very clean had a bit a funky smell at the start but cleared up after running the air conditioning. Breakfast was small but was adequate for me. Overall I would stay here again as they did not skimp out on the bed quality they are very comfortable.

My dad and I have been staying there for years, during the spring turkey opener. Nice n clean rooms, bathroom n such! Always can rely on em for a good room at a decent price. I've been seeing new improvements throughout the years, nice job Tim n Dana!

I just heard the YouTube videos about when that Howard guy got pranked, hilarious material, totally hilarious! That's the best besides the Tube bar and red the bartender 1970's phone pranks. I'm Snickering all night.

Run of the mill roadside motel in a small town. What annoyed me about this stay was the feeling of harassment. I asked for a late check out, understanding that I might not be allowed to do so. Surprisingly, the owner said yes, that I could have a 1pm check out. Great, right? No. At 12:18 pm I received a call to my room from the owner, asking how much longer would I take to check out and that the housekeeper was waiting on me. She also said that other people needed to check in. I said about 30min since I still needed to take a shower. I felt rushed and then a bit angry because I had the only car in the parking lot. There was no need to lie to me to say that others were waiting to check in, when clearly, that was not the case. Also, if I truly put the housekeeper out of the way, why not just tell me no, and that late check out is not an option, whatsoever? I have no problem spending my money elsewhere in order to receive the service I expect. If you are looking for a place to stay for the Sandhills Marathon, or any other road or trail race, look elsewhere. I even explained to her that I just needed a shower before getting on the road. It would be a smart move for the owner to look at the revenue brought in by this race and try to accommodate running instead of pushing them away.

Experience of the actual hotel was fine enough and the restaurants food was good even though it didn't offer anything in terms of atmosphere. However, the owner, while nice and decent at first, was heard cursing out a group of young men for being loud the night before. Yes they were loud, I believe there for a bachelor party, who can blame them? But to use such foul language in the presence of other guests was inappropriate and unprofessional. We will not be back for this reason.

As far as price goes, it was a very inexpensive stay. Sadly, however, the room smelled and was not very clean. The attached restaurant (Neon Lounge) was fine, but nothing special. The complimentary breakfast consisted of frozen items we could microwave, and cereal. The staff was very friendly, and helped with whatever they could. I'm not sure I would avoid this place, I just wish it was cleaner.

Stayed at this Motel while on a road trip to Colorado. Excellent customer service. They accommodated our 1 a. M. Check-in and had a good continental breakfast before we hit the road again. Beds were real comfortable and the room and bathroom were very spacious (larger than most hotels). For the price, you can't beat it!

Whoa! This is a MUST stop! These Ribs are AMAZING! Everyone at Bootleg would drive to Valentine on a special trip just to eat these again! Great people!. Cheers! Wish we would have tried the twice baked potatoes!

It's nostalgic and exactly what I expected from the reviews. Awesome food and caring owners. I'll stay again if in the area.

We weren't actually able to stay there due to an unforeseen change in our travel plans. My wife called to cancel our reservation. Even though it was slightly past the deadline time, the owner didn't charge us. We had looked forward to staying there based on the rave reviews and having seen it driving past it several times previously. And it looks like very nice Hotel. As we sometimes drive that route a couple times a year, we definitely will be staying there our next trip through Valentine.

Very good price for what you're getting, a nice room that is upgraded a nice bar and lounge that serves great brisket like melt in your mouth brisket and great service people very very nice.

My dog and I stayed one night here in February, and I had a fantastic time. Tim was very helpful, and was eager to give advice on sights to see around Valentine. He even suggested some places that aren't on any guide books for the area. The staff at the Neon Lounge and Restaurant was friendly and got me a seat at the bar right away. Everyone was helpful and interested in making sure my visit was the best it could be. The room was clean and warm, the bed was comfy and the shower was awesome after a day full of driving and hiking. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Valentine, NE.

Older motel but very clean. Tim and Dana are super nice people and make sure you want for nothing. Bar is remodeled and the food is great. Tim makes a kickass Ribeye.

Nice and clean rooms, very reasonable rates. We were cooked killer 20oz. Rib eye steaks that were fantastic. The owners were out tubing and the son did the cooking, checked us in and was extremely helpful. I would recommend this motel to everybody who stops in Valentine. HANDS DOWN! I am a contractor who has been staying at Motel Raine on and off for the past couple of months. The new owners, Tim and Dana, go out of their way to make sure you feel like you're at home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is passing through Valentine. Rooms are clean and affordable. It's also nice there is a bar at the motel to have a beer at after work. Would also recommend eating there.
