Very clean hotel with comfortable beds, small continental breakfast and very good staff.

Trisha Brewer

Comfortable bed, quiet night! Hot showers with plenty of water pressure. Great price, too.

Super clean, extremely friendly… I have made this one on my stops when I go cross country. GREAT truck parking.

Samuel Schuweiler

Very friendly manager and staff. A little outdated but clean. Good competitive prices that will save you money.

The staff were so nice! Easily accessible from the highway which makes it great for travelers. They were re-paving the parking lot to make a better experience for visitors to the hotel! A great stay

It was $62 for the night and was definitely worth the price. We got a king sized bed that was comfy and clean, a good bathroom, and a very nice welcome at the front desk. The breakfast was not amazing but I thought it was perfectly suitable. Overall, it's worth the stay if you're looking for somewhere cheap and clean.

We were in town for a softball tournament for a few days. When we arrived, the manager on duty was very accommodating, even helped us find our next day's location on a local map! The bed was very comfortable with great water pressure in the shower! Although the hotel is somewhat dated, the rooms were very clean and well kept with updated television, mini fridge and microwave. The morning as we were preparing to check out, the manager graciously offered to let me stay longer as I had previously mentioned working on a paper I was writing. I felt welcome our entire stay and if any problems had raised (which they did not) I feel like they would have been addressed promptly. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back again next year!

If you are going to spend the 80 dollars a night I'd go elsewhere! Pros: Room smelled great. Mini fridge and microwave in room. Wi — Fi. Bathtub as well as shower. Cons: You can hear every little sound because the walls are so thin. Blankets were really thin so I'd bring your own if you like to be warm. My husband has his conceal and carry permit and because he was carrying the manager treated him like a crazy man, saying he was going to scare off customers. The manager in question was of Arabic decent and I feel like if we dont assume him to be a bad guy based on his race he shouldn't assume my. Husband is going to hurt someone because he exercises his 2nd amendment right. I asked the manager if there was a door located near our room and he told me no, we would have to use the front entrance. We got to our room and realised not even 5 feet away is not 1 but 2 doors leading into the hotel. As we unpacked our car the manager watched us like we were going to do something illegal. I felt very uncomfortable and Minnesota state law says any location open to the public allows for conceal and carry unless specifically marked otherwise! There wasn't enough room to even put up a playpen so our one year old had to sleep in bed with us. They offer a "continental" breakfast which includes 2 choices of stale cereal, mini donuts, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and bread.

Very clean and quiet hotel only one there one night three cars there the second night had the curtsey to put other tenants away from each other. Very polite owner/manager. Little older hotel but very clean good price would definitely stay again. Traveling with kids to sporting events, try to stay cheaper at times was very satisfied one of the better cheap hotels we have stayed at.

Not the nicest hotel but it was excellent for the price and the staff was wonderful

Came in late… after 11pm. Front desk service was friendly and accommodating. This hotel allows dogs. Very quiet location. Easy access to route 90.

Stopped here on our way to South Dakota and I needed a good nights sleep SO bad. Let me tell you I got it here. The bed was soooo comfortable. Felt like I was back home. And the pillows were fluffy and soft. Couldn't have asked for better. Especially for the price. 60$! Free continental. So so. Had cereal and a waffle. Hot shower with good water pressure and we were out! Two thumbs up!

Great stop over on way out west from Wisconsin. Very friendly people. Nice rooms. Good continental breakfast.

Carolyn Cox

The management is really nice and prompt to fix things. But, the hotel is really old and run down. The breakfast was okay, but only carbs. Yogurt or protein would have been nice.

Bobby Dearman

GM is very nice and accomidating. Good place to stay for the money.

Douglas Wilbanks

Clean and comfortable room. Decent breakfast and good Wi-Fi. Low water pressure.

Cancelled reservation 2 days prior. Received email confirmation of cancellation. Hotel still charged my card and General Manager refused to refund my money. I will never book with Econolodge again.

Very good service! Clean rooms and friendly staff! Will stay here again

Stayed at the Country Side Inn in Austin, MN last night after driving 12 hours. TV didn't work, room smelled, shower had very low pressure, called the front desk about it all and got the blow off. Not much for breakfast either… won't stay here again!

My wife and I decided to stay cheap when we went on a day trip to southern Minnesota. We found out the hard way that you get what you pay for. We were quoted an overnight price of $45/ night, but because there were two of us, we were charged an additional $10. The total came to a little over $60. For a little more we could have stayed at a better chain hotel and had better service and a better room. When we arrived the hotel looked like it was old and a "mom and pop" business. We always try to help the little man or locally owned businesses. Initial check in was fine and the security for our room was very good. Once we entered our room we noticed that it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. The bed was wrinkled, there was dirt and trash on the floor, mold on the bathroom ceiling, and worst of all there was a used condom and wrapper on the floor. When I reported this last bit of nasty information to the girl at the front desk, all the girl did was have me write down my complaint and my information and room number and that she would report it to management. We never heard anything from management and I will never stay at this place again. The Country Side Inn is a dirty rip off hotel. The management and owners need to learn some customer service and hire some real cleaning people. So everybody, spend the extra $10 to $30 dollars and stay somewhere else, because the Country Side Inn is not a place I would wish my worst enemy to stay.

I never even had a chance to book with this hotel. I called once and got a response from the other line 'hello? '. And that's it… no, “Countryside Inn, how may I help you? ”, nothing. I have worked in a Marriott and if we EVER picked up the phone and answered that way, it would have been a response of, "don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you on the way out". The second time I called back, I again got a hello? and then they hung up. I called back to directly speak to a manager and I got the run around and then I got put over to another co-worker, whom completely didn't know how to treat a customer. And this is the best part… yelled at ME and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back one more time to get the General Manager’s name and number and they hung up on me… trust me; I'm calling back in the morning. so my point is… do not go here for customer service! make this your last choice for accomitations in austin, mn.
