The worst Holiday Inn we’ve ever stayed in. The desk help were appalling. First impressions were not a selling point. We waited between 15-20 minutes while the computers were slow or down. The 3 desk clerks never once said sorry for the wait, let me get you some water, would you like to sit? Meanwhile the couple who checked in before us had come back because they were assigned a dirty uncleaned room. Not one of the 3 at desk offered to expedite and move them to a cleaned room. They had to wait for the room to be cleaned. The breakfast seating area was dIrty. The floors in hotel dirty. Think again before staying. Not a good Holiday Inn.

We booked our room online with reward points and had a set amount to pay. We were charged our reeds points and the money online. Once to the hotel they charged another $100, but could not tell us why. Upon making it to the room, it had stained bed linens. My young daughter also locked us out of the safe with some belongings in it and the front desk had no idea how to unlock it or who to ask or when. The final and worst part of this was finding a PILL on one of the beds that did not belonged to us. We have 2 small children along that easily could have tried swallowing it without a second thought. When alerting the front desk, the worker said that it definitely didn't belong to a housekeeper (I looked up the pill and it said it was for Parkinson's disease… levedopa). The worker brushed it off with a slight sorry, said that it must be from a previous guest (meaning the room wasnt cleaned! ), and just dismissed the matter. This has been the worst hotel visit I have had in my life.

It is the cleanest and most comfortable hotel Candy and I have stayed in to date!

Clean rooms, helpful employees.

A reasonable if average offering in the HIE way of doing things. More modern than some and staff interactions were limited but pleasant. Breakfast offering a bit smaller than similar hotels, and our room had some peculiar plumbing quirks — a toilet that gurgled and splashed upward when flushed, and shower made loud odd noise when turned on. Hotel staff did inform us of pool hours at check-in even though the pool was closed ("temporally") for maintenance. Thankfully we didn't bring our kids here as that would have been an epic fail in that case.

I stayed here August 6-August 10, 2018. Unfortunately I was double charged for the room and 10 days later I still have not had the extra charge removed from my credit card. And despite calling multiple times and leaving my phone number I still have not had a call from a manager to explain what is going on. Additionally, the door to the room did not shut completely and I was told all the maintenance workers were fired recently and so no once can fix the door. When I asked to speak to the owner I was told his name is Harry and he is unavailable. The whole situation is quite a shame as I regularly stay at holiday inn across the US. I did give it 2 stars for the great breakfast and a kind front desk worker who showed me where the mailbox is out on the street. **UPDATE** 14 days later the double charge was removed. Holiday Inn compensated me with IHG points. Their star rating has improved now… from 2 stars to 3 stars.

Used the conference room for a work meeting. The workers were very accommodating and professional. Great experience.

I've stayed in better, I've stayed in worse. It is newly renovated. The staff are nice. It has a pool and a workout room.

Giving 5 stars even with the construction that was going on. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Was in town for a funeral and had 3 rooms here with other family. Rooms have a nice modern decor. Stayed in a suite with my 2 kids, my sister, and her 2 kids. Had 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. Front desk was friendly and helpful. And we were there a lot needing extra towels and bedding for the pull out. My 3 year old nephew tried calling another families members room, but was talking to the front desk, they entertained him until we figured it out. Lol does have an indoor pool and free breakfast.

Currently undergoing remodeling. The beds I found very comfortable but the new decor looks like a bad trip to a modern art exhibit. Nothing peaceful and calming. The new dining room is no longer cozy with fireplace, couch, etc. Tables, chairs and such are all hard lines and angles, cold and impersonal feeling now sadly. This use to be our home away from home.

Girl at the front desk was nice, but when we were trying to find our room we were going the wrong way and when we asked someone where the room was all he said was "good luck. " Plus there was no mention of renovating going on so there was a lot of noise in the morning. The breakfast was gross from their "one minute pancskes. "

Great room! Spacious, clean and very comfortable! Service not so much! Payment method and hold on deposit for two days not a fan of! But the room itself was awesome. Slept like a king!

The bed was so comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The only reason it's a 1star, and not a negative 1, is the friendly lady at the desk at check-in. Room had no hairdryer. Only got 6 channels on the TV. Ants in the bathroom. Shower drain clogged and wouldn't drain, stood in water over my ankles taking a shower. Will NOT stay again. IHG had better get a grip on this property.

Very comfortable, nice atmosphere. Felt like I paid a lot less than I should have for the quality.

My folks always stay here when they visit Vincennes and enjoy the staff and spacious rooms.

Only issue was they are updating the 3rd floor and contractors were going in and out of the common spaces drinking the coffee etc… Nice clean comfortable room, good shower and courteous staff.

Very clean good Wi-Fi. Employee new the difference between a Holiday inn and a Holiday Inn Express and he new. Good breakfast. Nice staff.

Location is great: right by Denny's. Room is decent. Not enough sockets. Breakfast very mediocre.

The hotel was in a fine location right of the highway and the staff were friendly. The room was actually much bigger than expected. The only problem we had was there was a word smell in our room and we could not tell where it came from. It wasn't so bad we had to leave though so it was still fine.

Great lodging experience. Full occupancy, but limited noise. Very pleased.

Room was nice so was the staff. 3rd floor room smelled kind of musty like the carpet needed replaced. Ac didn't work very well either.

Rooms are big with comfortable bed. Good tasting complimentary breakfast. Locted near restaurants and shops.

Staying here for 2 nights. So far first night went well. Very clean, nice employees. All around good experience.

The location was easy to find. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. My daughter LOVED the pool. The rooms wasnt cramped and the price was rather reasonable.

We have stayed there quite a few times, never had any major issues. Beds were comfy, only issue was the bathroom fan was not working and toilet seat was very loose. I turned the issues into the front desk and they thanked me so they could fix the problems. Things can't be fixed if they aren't told about them. I'll be back again next June Good willing.

The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. Might bring your own pillow as all four provided were flat.

Good hotel. Clean and friendly. All I expect from a holiday inn.

Amazing service… The printer in the business office was out of ink and the amazing lady working at the counter over night (around midnight) let us use her printer behind the counter. She was personable and friendly. I can over look the outage of ink because the lady working in check in desk was so great.

Beds were uncomfortable, service was fine.

Our family rents a conference room for Christmas Eve. Over all the hotel is nice however when we got the room the tables were dirty and the floor needed swept. We had to ask for cleaner for the tables and for it to be swept. They were accommodating with any requests and very friendly.

No issues with any part of the hotel. Decent place to stay.

Two words — Bed Bugs. Gross! I travel a ton for work and stay only at Hampton or Holiday Inns and this is my first bed bug sighting. Their solution — a free room for tonight. No thank you — I packed my stuff up in 20 seconds and found myself at a bug free Marriott. Unfortunately, none of my 25 employees will be staying here for a long while either. Too bad Holiday Inn of Vincennes. A sincere apology and a night at a competitor would have saved a fair amount of business.

Clean with a friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was pretty good. Rooms are a bit old. Carpet was clean but getting old. Location was convenient but unappealing.

This was, with out a doubt, the worst Holiday Inn I've ever stayed with. I travel a lot for work and I usually stay in either Holiday Inns or Marriotts, but this Holiday Inn was easily the worst hotel I've visited in the past three years. The carpets in the rooms stunk of mildew, the rooms had patches all over the walls, the breakfast was inedible and the front desk was rude and unapologetic. On top of all that, they mistakenly put a hold on my personal card of over 600 dollars and when I called to ask about the charge the man, whose name I wont mention, told me that it wasn't a big deal and that, "You could hold that amount out of my account and it wouldn't bother me. It's just a hold, we didn't really charge you. " Does that sound like an apt apology? Do yourself a favor and pass this little gem up.

Stayed a week and the rooms are nice and clean and all staff are very friendly. Continental breakfast very good. Bacon, sausage, omelets, pancakes, coffee, juice.

I stayed there for two nights during a business trip. Facility was very clean and comfortable. Faculties were responsive and friendly. Recreation center is bit small. However, descent breakfast menu, not much options but had all the basics. Very good coffee.

Dont stay here unless you don't plan to sleep and love train horns.
