Most comfortable beds. Great roof top bar.

Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The staff was beyond kind and friendly. Alex at the front desk was SO helpful for anything we had asked or needed. Tony, at miss Ricky’s, was amazing and accommodating. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. Great location for being able to go visit down by the river walk along with close proximity to millennium park. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Great full service, nice and clean rooms.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights. Had to cancel because of covid. Was willing to eat the one night deposit already paid but then they called me back and charged me a one night cancellation fee in spite of the fact that I cancelled 7 days before booking and we all know they will rebook that room and make my $700 plus charging the new booking.

Great location for leisure travel or business. Beautiful rooms, nice rooftop bar, helpful staff. No valet parking right now but easy self parking close by with validation prices.

Perfect location and the chamber room is exactly as pictured. The rooftop bar was an added bonus. Everything has a very luxurious feel! Price/fees were a lot higher than I expected but overall would recommend/stay here again.

This is a bad bad bad Hotel… great location but for the same price you can get a way better place. No room service, no house keeping, no Concierge service, nothing… very disappointed…

Very unique and modern fun luxury hotel.

They cancelled our hotel due to Covid on 5/2, they told us it would take up to 120 days to see the refund. We have had to cancel several other travel plans and other companies were able to credit us back within a week or less.

What a fun atmosphere! A touch of Retro with a sassy flair. Very friendly & helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the "Shag" room for a friend's puppy's bday.

We stayed here Christmas eve into Christmas. When we arrived the staff were very warm and inviting. As we went in and out throughout the day we were constantly greeted and struck up small conversations with the hotel staff. Later that night, unfortunately, we had a problem with the smoke detectors going off due to the steam from the shower. The interaction we had with a staff member regarding that was less than desirable. I contacted hotel management and they almost immediately got back to me (which I was pleasantly surprised about) They went above and beyond to try and make up for what was really just a weird accident. They made accommodations for us with just a couple day's notice for NYE and made sure we had a great time. The hotel is clean, with a very modern vibe and centrally located. The rooms are truly soundproof, we could not hear any nearby rooms on either stay. Management is awesome, their customer service alone is reason enough to stay there. To top it off the hotel is really great. I have a hard time in some hotels with allergies (I think the Palmer House tried to kill me once lol) and I had zero issues here. And they allow dogs. We found our new favorite hotel in the city. I would highly recommend Virgin Hotels to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Great hotel and super friendly team.

We had a beautifully modern suite on the 19th floor. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine in our room thanks to Samira. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel also offers a lively bar and chill lounge space with board games. We enjoyed cocktails and Connect 4 as we looked over Wabash St. Virgin has a cool coffee bar at the entrance too. We were within walking distance to Millennium Park and really enjoyed our stay! We will return as soon as the snow melts.

Love everything about this Boutique Hotel. The location is spot on, the bar, restaurant and attached diner extremely well serviced with great food and drinks but I really fell in love with the room, fantastic design and perfect in every way.

Awesome place. And very comfy chairs on the roof top bar! Drinks were amazing not too pricy, even got bottle service. The DJ was spinning, which motivated me to continue to buy buy buy lol. I loved thee entire experience.

The hotel is perfectly located, with a perfect style of decoration: every detail is taken care. The rooms are big and bright the bar and rooftop are fantastic! And their people is great too! I highly recommend it!

Girls weekend will go down in history as remarkable! The Virgin Hotel is so Chic, clean, friendly staff, great location, and reasonably priced. Loved the personal touches and that it’s pet friendly. We will be back!

I have been reading a bunch of the reviews and I would like to set record straight for anyone planning on staying here. With the exception of hearing the subway outside, the rooms, customer service and location of the hotel exceeding our expectations. We love you guys and we will be back!

The hotel has got funky style, for sure, it was probably "something" 20 years ago. Today it feels a bit worn-out, reception dark and lacking the welcome look and feel. Staff was friendly and helpful though, all good here. The room was smaller than I have expected reading description of a "chamber". Was 7/10 for cleanliness. The walls made of paper, and made it hard job sleeping hearings neighbors talking, not even partying, just having conversations.

One of the Best hotels we've stayed in! Great location, awesome and friendly staff, beautiful rooftop bar and cute room layout. The mini bar covered everything too! the best thing was the early check in and late check out! We got in at 9am and they got us in right away, extremely accommodating! Can't wait til they're in Nashville and nyc!

This is the only hotel I’ve ever stayed in twice in Chicago! Absolutely brilliant hotel, even better staff and awesome amenities. Always a pleasure to stay at the Virgin hotel. Thank you to the team for making our trip so special this time and making my husbands birthday unforgettable. I have wonderful things to say about cerise rooftop bar, thank you for holding onto my purse after one too many negroni! Thank you to Bruce at the commons club for hosting us at social hour and suggesting awesome things to do with out time and last but certainly not least the hotel staff for being there for alll requests! We can’t wait to get back for another weekend in paradise.

The place is very cozy and unlike other bars, it's not packed but it's popular. Good for a small gathering. The music is fresher than the rest of the bars and clubs. Cocktails are not a lot to choose from but they are good. The bartender might get frustrated easily if you give them too many orders at once or order multiple times in 2 minutes (happens in a larger group). But the experience was really good. The bouncers are much better (professional) and don't have a smug face.

It was fine. I'm easy going so wasn't annoyed by small things like a light not working and the TV being a little buggy. Was expecting a little more after reading reviews. All in all it is still a nice hotel with friendly service and cute personality touches. Wouldn't discourage people from staying here but there is probably better bang for your buck in the city.

Great boutique hotel! The style is unique and very Virgin. The attention to detail is great (tip: look under the bed). The room is a decent size, but they do look like they were working with the existing building's dimensions. It's a funky configuration too, walk in and have closet on one side with the sink between the two sides of the closet. Meanwhile, on the other side you'll find one room for the toilet. Just the toilet with a thick heavy door (in case you and your new significant other are traveling). Then the shower is the other room. The bedroom was good too, still funky with the felt wall and pockets. My only complaint was I got bit by something twice that wasn't a mosquito. Tried looking for what it was but no luck. Left a bad experience for me. Finally the elevators are beautiful but given the size and height of the building, you'll find yourself waiting a long time to go up or down. Staff are friendly. Attached restaurant is nice. Overall a great boutique hotel.

Great room for the price. Awesome experience around every corner. I loved the layout of the room, and all the little touches to the room that made it memorable. Location is great, cleanliness was great, and staff was awesome all around. Speedy check in and out. Will definitely be staying here again.

While the rooms are nice for one person, sharing the room is advised due to the coziness of the room. They overstock the mini fridge with their items so you cannot store you own stuff or leftover food you bring back to your room. They have no fax service so a company sending their employees, stay away. They are close by and in walking distance of some the best that Chicago has to offer. The diner at hotel is very expensive.

The hotel is entirely pet friendly, the staff is incredibly supportive and kind. The rooms are fun and modern, very well designed and very comfortable. The location is perfect for downtown business or pleasure, and the rooftop bar is great fun with excellent views and top notch bartenders. I'll definitely stay again.

Hip hotel with very thought-out rooms. All staff were kind, caring and informative. Even in rush hour traffic, arrivals are easy with curbside valet parking. The bed was comfortable and the rainfall shower was to die for. Book without hesitation.

The Virgin Hotel takes pride in being hip & quirky, and they do it will without sacrificing service, comfort, or convenience. The British accents all over the place made me feel a bit like Austin Powers was going to pop around the corner at any minute. The rooms were a bit different than what I've experienced in every other boring hotel; as soon as you enter your room, you're in an open area with your bathroom sink on the left, and the toilet and shower on the right, with a little makeup area in between. Further into the room is the bed, TV, and fridge. The bed was wonderful, I slept great both nights I was there. The spacious, walk-in shower was excellent as well. The room has an elegant, modern design with lots of interesting little design touches here and there. There was a free happy hour w/free drinks from 5-6 pm every day. The service was excellent, polite, and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.

I’ve stayed here 3 times and always look forward to coming back. Everything is clean and modern but in an old quirky building. I think it’s the little things that do it for me and the Englishism’s such as blokes and birds toilets in the common room bar. Check in and out couldn’t be easier or faster, hello proove who you are and done your off! Your spoilt for choice in Chicago but I think this is certainly worth a go.

We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. We travel constantly and I’ve been in many hotels, I think the design of the room is so well thought out, is simple but with everything you need and the bed was sooo comfortable, I was actually happy that it was cold and rainy outside and spend most of one day just enjoying the room. Staff was always attentive and smiling, location is great and the whole place is really cool. My only advice would be to improve the drinks at both bars, some good crafty cocktails will bring more people and raise the bar rating that is very low. We’ll definitely stay here in our next visit to Chicago.

We stayed here in Feb '18 to get a night away from the kids. Little did we know there was a DJ contest many, many floors above us. We called down several times thinking there was an issue with our neighbors, but it was the bass. We finally fell asleep about 4a. The following morning, after speaking with the lovely man at the front desk, we were told they would comp our breakfast and to request a refund through the hotel tonight app. After doing this, they claimed the breakfast was all that was promised and would not refund our night of no sleep. If you have an issue, make sure you get it taken care of before you leave!

➖ Room service was disappointing. Concept and design of Miss Ricky’s diner is great. However food was just okay. I have had much better diner food elsewhere. Lastly, if Virgin Hotels do not provide movies on demand, they may consider providing the ability to pair/project mobile devices/tablets/laptops wirelessly to the TV monitor. ➕ Hotel staff are kind, courteous and very helpful. Bed was very comfy, having the room divider from the bathroom area is great. The room divider helps dampen noise. Our room was directly across from the elevator and noise was not an issue.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. Excellent location near the river and Navy Pier, and by many restaurants. The room was extremely clean and well designed. Little touches (like leaving ear plugs in our room just in case the city was too loud, which it was not! ) were awesome. The social hour with free drinks every day was amazing (fantastic drinks) and the rooftop bar was so cool! Great food up there too. Everyone was very friendly. Virgin definitely has my business in the future, and I'm excited that it looks like they're opening up more in other cities.

My wife and I were looking for a place to enjoy our first anniversary and we both thought of the Virgin Hotel. We were surprised at how affordable it was. Even more than that, how lovely the staff was! When we told them that we would like a room for the night for our first anniversary, they made sure to have someone come by our room with a hand-signed card from the hotel's staff thanking us for choosing Virgin for our anniversary, and they gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate the evening with! Also, that bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in my life! Highly recommend!

Yes YES HELLS Yes! Great Staff, Great Stay! More than that its a fun walk in all directions! Clowns to the left of me Jokers to the Right Happy Place in the middle with YOU ALL 2nd time staying there even still YES.

This hotel exceeded our expectations and then some. It felt like we were in first class in one of Virgin's jets but way bigger. Even the bed was shaped like the first class pods. Everything in the mini bar was super affordable. Service was unreal, free bottle of champagne on arrival, easy check in and check out, help with bags, etc. First time ever in Chicago and Virgin Hotels was a big part of why we had such a great time. Then there is the Commons Club (the in-house hotel bar and restaurant). Holy cow this place is unreal. The first meal I had was their steak, and I have got to say, this is the most unique steak I have ever had, in the best way possible. We came back later that night and I had the burger, again, the most unique burger I've ever had. Happy hour is just a great touch. We will definitely be back in Chicago and will stay at Virgin Hotels again for sure. Thank you guys!

We were very happy here for two nights. The room was small but we had what we needed — a larger shower, king size bed, fridge, wine glasses, etc. I wish we had bottled water with us — found out later that we could have had tap water to drink which would have been fine. Had a little trouble with the TV the one time we tried to watch it. I wish they used trash liners in the rooms. Every staff member we interacted with, even in the hallways and the custodians, were pleasant and genuine. Hospitality here was great. The coffee shop and diner were awesome, the drinks and the service! We enjoyed the bar upstairs but had other plans for meals and didn't eat up there. Keith at the bar was refreshing and kind. I'd love to go back and would recommend!

Great service and unique, well-thought out rooms (or chambers, as they call them. ) The evening happy hour makes the price totally worth it — — you can order ANYTHING from the bar from 6pm-7pm each evening! Unbelievable!

I've stayed at the Virgin Hotel in Chicago twice now. After the great experience I had the first time in January 2017, I knew I would be back. I stayed again this past weekend, and had another wonderful experience. I'm a big fan of the youthful, modern vibe the hotel gives off, despite being in the heart of downtown Chicago. Both times, the service has been excellent, the beds comfortable, the rooms clean, and if you get a chance, take a ride in the hotel's Tesla. Also, for what it's worth, I received the same excellent service while checking in this time around, from the same employees that I did the last time I stayed a year ago. This leads me to believe the Virgin Hotel treats their employees as well as their guests, and that gives me peace of mind that I'm spending my money at the right place. I will definitely be back at the Virgin the next time I'm staying overnight in Chicago.

One of the best hotel experiences I've had. They are beautiful rooms with great ammenities. And the hotel has a great location. The free cocktail hour for guests puts this place at the top of my list.

The rooms are beautiful and posh I was you haven't thought about. If these aren't feather pillows, they sure do a good job of simulating them. Keith was our bartender, and he did an excellent job of familiarizing us with what the bar had to offer.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Virgin Hotel. This hotel is downtown close to the Trump tower. The rooms are very well organized and appointed for being on the smaller side (at least ours). They have a jazz club downstairs, an excellent coffee shop attached and every night at 5pm they have happy hour where drinks are free :). Would stay here again for sure next time I am in Chicago.

Definitely upgrade to the bigger king if your woman likes to take 3 hours to get ready. The whole area has my wife wanting to remodel our bathroom. We love the entire experience of this hotel.

Very nice room. There are a lot of really cool amenities but personally speaking, the bed was too soft. Lovely mini bar and the shower was awesome. I would definitely recommend it. I hope they build one in San Francisco soon so we can have a staycation at a nice hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, the rooms were nice and clean. The bathroom layout was a little weird, there was no door between the shower and the beds just a partition that moved and had a peep hole to. Loved the speaker that you could hook your phone into so you can play music. Comfy bed as well.

Holy hotel of my dreams! This place is among the best in Chicago. The staff is warm and inviting with a great attention to detail. The facilities are beautiful; restaurants, bars, rooms, and all. I especially loved the evening desk crew during my stay.

Great location! There is a lot to do within walking distance or you can hop on the train. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel/rooms are nice, clean, and have a fun, modern twist. Plus, the red accents give a nod to the Virgin brand. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice stay. I liked the rooms, clean, modern, with a touch of smart innovative design and s-appeal. Great gym for a hotel. The bar was cozy and well decorated with kind staff but ridiculously overpriced and the dinner portions were tiny for their price! Breakfast was ok… at the diner.

This review is for Cerise rooftop bar only. Upon entering the lobby, the place feels elegant, stylish, and vintage. Made us really looking forward to the rooftop bar and it didn't disappoint. Great drinks, cool atmosphere, and gorgeous view of the city. Nice place to chill on the weekday and good place to meet up and dance to live music on the weekend.

I was in town for work, (my wife joined me-she loves visiting Chicago, too! ) We were looking for a new spot this year. The staff was simply terrific. The location was spot on, with respect to food spots, parks and museums. The room was neatly designed with a progressive, hip vibe to it. We enjoyed a western view of the city. Love the pocket doors and the shower facility. The members hour (and room) was over the top fantastic. We will be back to the Virgin Hotel next year. Fantastic property. All-around great experience! Rooms are spectacular. Amazing finishes and simply just the right amazing small touches of personality that Virgin is legendary for. Motion-sending lights in the closet areas, lots of plugs next to the bed and everything else in between. It's made for comfort and experience. Be sure to check out "The Study" on the second floor for a great place to relax and lounge.

Located right by the river on Wabash, great location. I stayed in Suite 1102, the room was wonderful. Very spacious with awesome amenities. Free drinks from 7-8 at The Commons Club (second floor bar) and complimentary entry to a ticketed event going on at the rooftop bar (which had a line around the block we were allowed to skip). Would definitely stay again!

Roof top view was nice but appetizer food was awful. Chips and dip turned out to be kettle cooked potato chips with a side of ranch and a side of lazy hummus. Or kettle chips with guacamole? Why? $18 meat and cheese spread was probably best bet. Also, any double cocktails are just 2 full-priced singles in one glass. Heads up.

I had drinks at the bar on the second floor of the hotel. The bar itself is the centerpiece of the room, which also has many sofas and tables to relax with a cocktail. There are games to play, but the people watching is entertainment enough. It's usually crowded and fun. The drinks are creative and look as good as they taste.

Virgin Hotels is an absolutely incredible hotel. The bars are great, they have great events, and the beds are comfy as hell. All in all a great place!

I wanted to express my most grateful appreciation to the hotel staff who helped find my lost shopping bag. It was the most amazing experience. Even though I was not a guest of the hotel, I wish to stay there next time when I visit Chicago.

The guys at the front desk were extremely friendly. The hotel decor was really hip. The room itself was clean and had an interesting layout. The TV system was actually easy to use and simple. The bed was really comfortable. I would stay here again.

Great hotel overall, but several issues with our room. One of the sliding doors is broken, one of us got locked in the toilet, and the light fixtures are surprisingly confusing. As others have said, the outdoor soundproofing could have been more thoughtful. There's only one chair in the sleeping chamber when there could easily be two. People going to the rooftop bar clog the elevators. But the large king room is very spacious and fairly comfy. The TV is needlessly difficult to use due to the hotel "features". But the shower is incredible!

Everyone has a hotel style that they like. For me, the Virgin Hotels Chicago is my style. It is highly functional, modern, and slightly funky. The service was excellent; highly efficient, but not intrusive. A valet to handle unloading the car, quick check-in, with a brief but thorough description of hotel operations, amenities, and food and beverage options. The fitness room is well equipped. The Club Room bar, when we were there, offered free wine from 7-8, and a variety of small plates (in my opinion, they could expand the list, make it a bit more edgy, and charge more for it). We had a basic room, but it was more than adequate in size. VERY comfortable bed, LARGE shower facility, LARGE sink area, two small closets with luggage space. My only wish was for more movie options in the TV. Show less.

Very nice boutique hotel. Nice large room with separate dressing area. Comfortable bed and nice amenities. Even the mini bar is reasonably priced, slightly more expensive than the drug store, but not enough so that you can't justify the price.

We went to Miss Ricky's, the sandwiches are very good, the beer selection is not bad, there is an option of beer flights which is better. Tremendous service.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and very polite. The room was lovely very spacious and modern with lots of clever features. The bed was very comfortable, minibar prices were reasonable with lots of choice. Room service was brilliant and the food was very nice. Breakfast at miss Ricky's in the hotel was lovely. It's an interesting and unique bar to say the least. Pretty fun. Been there once when the terrace was open and once when the terrace area was closed. They have heat lamps out there! Nice view even though the buildings are so tall next to the hotel. The drinks are awesome but take SO long to make it almost isn't worth waiting for one. The credit card reader was broken when I went and since they made me wait 30 minutes, they gave me the two drinks for free. Nice workers but they need more staff I guess.

We ate at the hotel restaurant. Food was really good. The bathroom was located upstairs by the bar. It was a really cool spot. Would recommend getting drinks there.

Very good hotel, good located, good price, rooms very comfortable, the price of the things in the mini bar are very acceptable, they have a tesla that leads you to any side at 2 miles.

The service was outstanding! The guy who got our luggage out of our car noticed we had a pack n play with us and offered to have one sent up for us instead of using our own. We forgot something in our car and the desk had someone get it for us and bring it to our room. We ordered room service and I don't remember how long it took but I do remember thinking "wow that was really fast! " The app you can download to control room temp, TV, order room service etc was an awesome idea, but didn't work that we'll on my phone. I had to click on buttons a million times for it to do anything.

The Virgin Chicago provided an excellent stay. The rooms are comfortable and impeccably styled. Members of the staff are, to a person, friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers good food, and the bar never lost an order, even when things got busy. (Speaking of the bar, it offers a free happy hour to guests during the evening. Quite a plus! ) I would happily recommend the Virgin to anyone considering a stay in the area.

Trendy Style, Fun, Beautiful Lobby and Rooms, Excellent Restaurant, Great View from the Bar on the Top of the Hotel, Great Atmosphere, Nice Rooms… We met the owner and a couple of the investors and they were very friendly and open to hear about what we liked and any suggestions we had. Room service food was excellent and the mini bar and snacks in the hotel room were priced as if you were buying them at a normal store, not overpriced like most hotels do. Highly recommend this hotel! Stayed September 2016, traveled with friends.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this modern hotel. I was only at this hotel for one night, and I wish I could have stayed longer to experience it better. The hotel has a very cool, hip, and chic vibe that was so much fun. Every detail in the hotel and the rooms were a surprise that put a smile on my face. The staff was so friendly, and they matched the same modern and laid back vibe that the hotel gave off. I will definitely be staying here again when I return to Chicago.

Very good hotel, central, modern, spacious. It is true that the metro runs very near and you can reach to disturb, but is not exaggerated. It is a bit expensive but certainly worth it!

Staff were very friendly, the room was beautiful, and the amenities are second to none. The Commons Club is a great place to relax, grab a drink, and eat. The hotel is in a great location as well. It's elegant, classy, and it's where you should stay. Next time I'm in Chicago, I know where I'll stay.

Great place to stay and very close to Millennium Park. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and I loved the idea of the complimentary Tesla rides. Very modern clean rooms. Nice views. They fulfilled our every request.

I did not stay in the hotel but it looks like a very good weekend gateway for Chicago visitors. The rooftop bar is excellent and very nice on a warm day.

From the location to the view to the awesome atmosphere, Virgin Hotels really had me feeling good the whole time. Free bar service for an hour at the social club more than made this hotel worthwhile. The whole place had a very modern yet retro mix of themes. Would very much love to go again.

Just stayed here this weekend with my wife. I was impressed with size of the rooms and the layout. Would be great for an extended stay. Great service too. We will make this our first choice when we return to Chicago.

I love this hotel. It's location is ideal (within walking distance to just about everything) the staff are incredibly friendly, and my room was so cozy and clean it was hard to leave. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed at in all my years of traveling. I would highly recommend a stay here.

I went to get brunch which was fantastic. The service was pretty good, too. The only issue I had was that even though my dish was priced fairly, the granola and yogurt was about the same price as my meal. There were a few items on the menu like that, which I thought was odd. I'd definitely go back though.

Terrific location, super friendly staff, well-appointed rooms. Right next to the L, though, so expect to need to use the provided earplugs. At night the lobby becomes a rather chaotic waiting area for the rooftop bar (which I hear is excellent but I wasn't willing to wait an hour to find out).

Amazing hotel for the value! Right from the door you can take in the British feel with the dim lighting and decor. The so called Chamber rooms they provide are unbelievable! From the cleanliness to the amenities provided, we had an amazing experience and will definitely come back again.

This is pretty much a perfect hotel. Super helpful staff, beautiful spacious rooms, courtesy Tesla car to drive you to dinner, free cocktails for guests at happy hour. The spa is wonderful as well, great service. Bar on the 26th floor with some nice views. Great location, close to Millennium Park. 5 Stars!

An amazing experience! From the moment we walked in the door the service was great! Our room (a king suite, Room 2311) was incredible with great views. We enjoyed happy hour (free drinks from 7-8p), and breakfast at Miss Ricky's. And the champagne gummy bears are a must! We'll be recommending this hotel to everyone we know & cannot wait to go back! :-)

Great location in the loop, rooms are really interesting and fun. It's got a cool vibe throughout the hotel and there's a bunch of neat things in the room. Parking was a bit of a challenge however.

The location of this hotel is perfect. You are close to the Magnificent Mile but aren't stuck down there. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We took advantage of the happy hour and it was perfect for a quick drink before dinner. If you are a tech person you'll love all the features.

Our stay the the Virgin Hotel Chicago was fantastic. We stayed for a amazingly warm November weekend and loved every moment at the hotel. The grand suite was worth the extra money for the side room. Great for relaxing for a bit before going out again but not being in the bedroom. They surprised us with a candy gift our first night because I joined "the know" their loyalty program. The 2nd floor bar and restaurant has free drinks for one hour every night and it is packed and fun. This place is a must for anyone who likes a fun young hotel thats a true experience.

The service from everyone atthehotel was VERY good. They were very friendly and didn't act like we were bothersome with any of our questions or request. Our visit was for my birthday and they delivered us a birthday card and acomplimentary bottle of wine as a gift! The location of the hotel is perfect for food shopping and site seeing. We really enjoyed the 'different' style of the room and all of the technology in the room that you do not see in other hotels. We will definitely be returning to Virgin Hotel Chicago!

This is a great hotel! Stayed here Saturday. Gus at front desk was very personable and helpful. Dan O' Leary made sure our stay was excellent down to the last detail. The diner is excellent. We highly recommend this very clean and luxurious hotel!

The Virgin Hotel is located in a renovated bank building in the heart of downtown Chicago. It is very easy walking distance to many sights, and public transportation. The service was very good, with an easy early check in. The room was fairly spacious, with customized snacks and beverages in the mini bar (join the rewards club). The amenities were very tasteful. A lot of the things are automatized, or interactive via your television or app. It was a little awkward dealing with the sensor lights in the closet. The sliding door helped separate this area from the bed. There are ear plugs to help deal with the elevated noise — you are right above a curve in the loop, so the squeals travel farther than most street traffic. There is a cocktail hour nightly in the excellent bar on the second floor, though there could have been a bit more help in the seating department for this. There is also a rooftop bar, open in the evenings and weekend late afternoons (our clerk forgot to tell us about this). On the whole, a great, comfortable stay.

I stayed for two nights and was blown away! Just as my cab came to a stop door was being opened by hotel staff who promptly handy bags ready for me. Check in was a breeze and the staff was super helpful and pleasant. The property is clean, beautiful and smells really great. The rooms were quiet, spacious and full of little gems and surprises. The bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. I ordered room service breakfast the second morning and the food arrived hot, fresh and delicious! I will definitely be staying here again — no doubt.

This review is for the rooftop bar alone. You can really feel the Virgin spirit in this establishment as soon as you enter. Be prepared to be immediately wowed by the view from the outdoor patio with a view spanning from the Willis to Trump tower. It is absolutely perfect. The feel of the lounge is very laid back, but sophisticated. There is a DJ spinning in an open area of the bar, but on the floor, not in a omnipotent platform. The tunes were great, but not so loud you could no longer have a conversation. The drinks were high end and the bar even offers champagne by the glass. My fiancee is a big supporter of that aspect. There were bar seats for a group setting or large, cushioned couches for a more intimate evening out. The Virgin hotel rooftop is a must stop for those out looking for a drink blended with a great atmosphere.

I stay in a lot of hotels for both business and personal and this was quite possibly the best experience I've had yet — way better than any Ritz or W I've stayed in. Before arriving I sent an email asking for early check-in and late check-out to accommodate my travel plans and within minutes someone from the staff replied and said it would be no problem at all. The hotel itself is very tastefully furnished and doesn't feel stuffy like a lot of other luxury hotels. The food was fantastic and the staff was the friendliest I've ever experienced at a hotel. I was out in Chicago for my brother's wedding and upon departing the hotel one afternoon, instead of hailing a cab for me, the attendant offered to drive me to my destination in the house-car, an awesome Virgin branded Tesla — amazing door to door service. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in Chicago (and checking out future properties as they open up across the US). Keep up the awesome work.

The Virgin Hotel in Chicago is great for people who like hip, happening and youthful vibe hotels. The gym and lounge/club upstairs on the 25th floor are very nice, cozy and fun. I enjoyed my stay with Virgin as the facilities are new and staff are very accommodating. They also have restaurants downstairs that are supposed to be amazing. Maybe next time.

Very nice hotel with a odd ball virgin feel to it. Hotel is clean and stylish. The only down side is the noise from the subway, did not worry me but if you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. Good location great hotel.

One of the best hotel experiences I've had in a while. There is a HUGE premium on customer service at this hotel, and it really goes a long way. The place is beautiful, hip and sexy, but it's also fun! I love that you can customize your mini bar, and everything is street price. Yes, some rooms are right near the L. The hotel provides ear plugs, but if that's a deal breaker, try to get the high floor. The rooftop bar is great, the wine/coffee bar downstairs is awesome, and Miss Ricky's has really great, elevated diner food. I will def stay here again.

I was so looking forward to this experience and I was not disappointed.

The place is beautiful, no doubt. But! If I order a Jameson, it is because I like a drink that tastes mostly like whiskey. I paid $20 for 2 ginger-ales.
