I love the warm, friendly welcome of the concierge! Ally was a treat at recommending an Italian restaurant which was absolutely amazing! I am at a loss for words and I love to talk! She said to be there if we needed her! Excellent service! The view and space was remarkable! I love the partition for privacy in the bedroom. I am in complete awe for my birthday! God is great!

It is really good hotel that people work here really really friendly and its a really good place to spend the weekend or your night they make you feel like home.

It was a great stay. The room was nice. Coffee came the first day but was forgotten on the second which isn't really a big deal because we were headed to the bakery downstairs for breakfast anyway. The hotels coffee comes from here and hotel guests get free coffee there. The only real complaint I have is with the in room cocktail kit that costs $18. The souvenir shaker leaked all over when we were making our drinks. I told the front desk and they said that basically since I opened it, I owned it and would have to pay for it anyway. I guess in the grand scheme of things, it's not a huge deal but just didn't seem like they wanted to make it right at all. I guess I have a neat shaker to look at on a shelf.

Love the atmosphere of the hotel … great staff that provided great customer service … loved the set up of the room and was pleased with the setup of the king suite! Will be back again.

Efficient check-in. Nice rooms and cheaper parking than all the rest. And, great coffee in the morning delivered to your door. Will come back!

Very nice hotel, especially location. Challenges: on the 13th floor and the elevator was down for about 15 minutes. They deliver coffee in the morning but they screwed up the order and brought tea.

I recently visited the ACME Hotel company for a night out with friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff at this venue. We were greeted the moment we entered and were promptly directed to the social area of the hotel. The beverages were excellent quality and nature. The Ambiance and atmosphere was also very upscale and provided a fine night out with companions. I would highly recommend this company and hotel as well as he Associated social area to my friends and family.

What an amazing hotel. Location is spot on, service is brilliant, and amenity is on point. It is true what ACME say — they want to stand out and be different; chic. The design is edgy and the staff are cool. Nothing is a problem for them. The Morning Joe coffee is a brilliant touch. The spa and gym area is great and Berkshire Room bar is friendly. Rooms are a good size and the bathroom is very modern. Overall a great boutique hotel that is not stuffy. Awesome value for money.

The only reason this place doesn't get more stars is because the decor. They sacrifice functionality for aesthetics. The bathroom has a lit lipstick kiss on the mirror that glows red and you can't turn it off! The shower is really cool, then you use it and realize you'd rather have a normal shower head and not a rain head. Overwhelming decor, almost as if they changed designers multiple times during the process of building. Sensory overload. I will say that the staff is very good though. Not my style of hotel.

Great experience, great staff! Loved the cool vibe and the chalkboards on the door are brilliant! Our door-cierge Karl (with a K) made sure our bags were taken care of and brought to our room at check in time (we arrived super early). He suggested places to eat, things to do, and set up Taxi and Uber service for us. Loved getting the thermos of hot coffee delivered to the room every morning. This was my first time in Chicago and you guys really enhanced the enjoyment of our stay. We look forward to staying with you guys the next time we come to town!

Acme hotel was great! Great service there was always someone outside to open the door for us and took our luggage up to our room. The cleaning staff was very good and so nice. The beds were so comfortable. I loved the decor of the room it was very unique and very comfortable and great location it was near everything! I loved the hot tub area it was very cool! It was nice having coffee sent to our room at the time we wanted and having the bakery right there was great! Best donuts! I would highly recommend this hotel!

Check in was fast and personal. The place has the advertised funky vibe as soon as you walk in. Everyone is friendly. There's techno music in the elevators. The room is small but clean and well appointed. There's an Alexa in my room! The mini bar has decent prices. $2 for coke and $5 for beer. Way less than most places. I'm very excited for my free coffee delivery in the morning.

This is my second stay here and I love it. Great location. Walking distance to a variety of cool places to eat, drink, and experience Chicago. The staff is amazing! They are so friendly and personable. Concierge is prompt and courteous. Parking available for a fee but had in and out privileges. Rooms are cozy, beds are soft and welcoming. Glass shower — need I say more… I could not ask for a better experience. Great for business or pleasure trips. I highly recommend this place and will undoubtedly stay here again.

Small rooms but otherwise awesome experience. Their gym is fantastic and they deliver coffee and tea to your bedroom in the morning! So awesome. Staff is friendly and courteous and there is art everywhere here! Would definetly stay again and recommend to other travelers!

The staff at the Berkshire room were friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I all ordered the dealer's choice. We all received fantastic drinks. The interior is beautiful. It made me feel like I was at the apothecary.

I loved the location, the rooms gift small but nice, the bathroom very clean and cute.

This hotel is awesome. The rooms are on the small side but make up for it with big charm. They have a sitting area with table, nice bathroom with big mirror, and big comfortable beds. Lots of cool art throughout the hotel. The refrigerator in the room has beer you can buy and snacks are available for a fee. All rooms have an Alexa to ask for information. The lobby opens up to the Berkshire room where you can grab a cocktail or you can grab a slushie at Bodega. Feeling a little sore but you still want to booze it up? Take a trip downstairs to Bunny slope hang in the hot tub and sip some drinks. Gotta burn some of those calories you drank? Check out the gym downstairs. When you check in don't forget to set up your knock and drop breakfast by West Town bakery and passion house coffee roasters coffee. This is not my first stay at Acme and won't be my last.

The hotel staff were very accommodating for our large group. They worked with us to set up a ton of rooms and all the room requests during our stay were handled quickly. We had a great stay!

Great location, close to tons of restaurants and activities. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor is interesting, it has a punk rock meets comic book vibe, which is not really my thing, but other people liked it a lot. Rooms and elevators are tiny. Service to the room was slow. Overall I was satisfied with the stay but I probably would not stay there again.

Great home base to explore the River North area of Chicago, 1 block from the Red Line, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Short ride on the Red Line to the Chicago Theater, easy to get to Acme from Chicago Midway Airport on the Red Line with a transfer to the Orange Line at Roosevelt Station.
The hotel has a hip, music-oriented vibe with a friendly and helpful staff. The 11th floor rooms are quiet (except for the city traffic noise that comes with an urban location). Great city view, comfortable bed, and awesome rain shower with plenty of hot water. Coffee delivery was on time or early each morning, and the West Town Bakery adjacent to the hotel. The room was wired for technology including a Chromecast for the TV. There's no mini-fridge or microwave (just a mini-bar for $), but for a weekend visit that was ok.
Overall, a great value for the money and would definitely stay here again!

We used ACME for our wedding block — we had ~80 people stay and the room rates were unbeatable. Danielle was amazing to work with — she was meticulous with all of the coordinating. They handed out welcome notes we created to each of our guests, ensured everyone was taken care of, let us use the Bodega for the bridal party/family to get ready the day of, and even let us use Berkshire room for goodbyes and coffee on Sunday morning! Our guests loved the proximity to everything! Would recommend ACME to anyone getting married in downtown Chicago! Eclectic boutique hotel in the heart of Ohio Street. Rooms are perfect, clean, and the Amazon Echos in the room were great with their own ACME skill too.

We came here for new years and had a blast. Really appreciated the complimentary bag check and party favor swag-bag! The room was clean, tidy, and well decorated. Everything was also very up front for items in the room (fresh coffee in the morning, snacks, mini bar) in terms of pricing and availability. They asked for room preference prior to arrival and did a great job meeting our needs. Would definitely stay again.

My friend had a room for the night for her birthday, I was at her room for a bit to get ready to go out. Everything seemed nice, the decor was cool and industrial, but the doors to the rooms were very thin. Walking down the halls we could hear what everyone was doing in their rooms very clearly, which was a little unnecessary. Decently priced mini bar drinks, but the room snacks were a little expensive.

I highly recommend this hotel! It was super affordable and exceeded beyond my expectations. It was a perfect place for my 21st because it has a cool vibe going and in a great location. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was probably the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Also the staff was super friendly and helped with whatever I needed!

I recently stayed at the Acme for a weekend getaway and I was really impressed! The rooms were very cool. I loved the coffee in the morning. Jasmin at the front desk was especially helpful and nice. The wife and I will be returning for sure! Thanks Acme!

Checking in was quick and easy. Parking lot attached to building made it easy. Hotel is located in a good spot. Quick walk to Michigan Avenue. Food and drink options are in close proximity. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. I enjoyed the see decorations. Plus free delivery of coffee in the morning is a big plus. I would stay here again.

This is the worse place ever. Cheap, cheap, and mold infested on the air, couldnt breath. Bad design taste and so small and scared. The bathtub was nice only.

Cute boutique hotel in a good location with rooms that were nice and clean. The staff was friendly. I agree with those that said the counter space was non-existent in the bathroom, particularly for 3 people. They could also use better and more lighting. Start by putting a better light bulb in the entty to room 1408.

This hotel was great! Friendly, helpful staff really showed and was the cherry on top. Little touches like rock music in the elevator, a guide on the TV (which had a really nice full HD picture), decorative art everywhere, creative door covers a for the ice machine, exits, and elevators, Alexa in the room, and second floor lounge also made our stay enjoyable.

Eclectic boutique hotel in the heart of Ohio Street. Old Chicago building so don't expect Holiday Inn sized rooms. Eatery and Bar in the lobby and a Starbucks just across the street. Comfortable bed and rain shower made for a nice stay. Neat and useful that they put Amazon Echos in the room with their own ACME skill too.

This hotel has a big problem. You want to stay longer than booked. All in rock style, relaxed and very professional staff.

If you're looking for a hotel with a lot of personality, convenience and great service, this is it! The room had a funky retro rockabilly feel to it but still managed to remain unpretentious. Staff was very helpful and concierge was great! The only negative I found was a handful of cheerios under an auto man and a large bug of some sort that escaped before I could see what it was!

This place is awesome. Won't stay anywhere else in Chicago! Cool rooms, super clean, outstanding staff! Have the coolest amenities like free coffee delivery, Alexa in your room, awesome hot tub! And they are super adorable! Highly recommend you don't waste your time going anywhere else but here!

Not sure why the name is wrong on Google, but the ACME hotel was awesome. Really friendly staff, awesome room, and great location. Will be back the next time I'm in Chicago.

We stayed two nights here and wished we had stayed longer, both for Chicago and for this hotel. We opted to upgrade our room to a suite at check-in as we have a one year old son (so having a bit of distance from him sleeping is good). It's a block from the subway station which is great. There's plenty of very good restaurants around, as well as fast food, bars, convenience stores, etc. Really wanted to check out the Berkshire Room and the Bakery but unfortunately couldn't fit them in (time or stomach-wise). Rooms were clean and in very good condition. Mini-bar was for the most part well-priced which was appreciated. The place is full of cool little touches that just add to the experience. The gym and spa looked very inviting. Air conditioning is a bit noisy, but do you care? We didn't. Also liked the extras — Google Glass was a cool thing to try out, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the morning joe service. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for the staff which was great. We picked the place up for what seemed like a good price to us, so I doubt you'd be disappointed if you stayed here. I will be back the next time I'm in the city, that's for sure.

I loved my stay here. Free coffee in the morning and reasonable parking next door. The rooms are small but really cool. The whole vibe of the place is awesome. The location is perfect as well. Its close to the subway and tourist attractions. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I don't think its quite worth the money, but its still a great place.

This place was great and cheaper than other hotels in the immediate area. The hotel is very modern and feels very clean and well kept. The room I got was a great size for a couple or a single occupant. I loved the wood floor instead of your run of mill hotel carpet. The TV was nice and you could hook up your device to it via the provided HDMI cable. The desk was spacious to get some work done. The room looks out across the street so nothing spectacular but that's not why I booked the hotel. The fridge in the room is only for beverages supplied by the hotel so there's no room for you to put any left overs or keep your drinks cool. There is an ice bucket if you want to go that route. There are another set of treats next to TV. Don't pick these up unless you want to get charged. The bed was comfortable and stacked with an ample amount pillows. The air conditioning was quiet and did the job of keeping the room at a cool temperature. My biggest gripe with the AC unit was that it was pointed directly on the bed. So if the unit was on and you were sleeping, it may be a little uncomfortable with the cold air blowing directly on your head. The bathroom was nice and spacious. There was a large mirror in front of the sink and an ample amount of counter space. The shower had an appropriate amount of pressure. You also get a voucher for the canteen next door for $10 worth of breakfast. Even though the place was organic, it was delicious and filling.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Twin double bed rooms come with a small living room that includes a microwave. Free coffee delivered to your door in the morning. Definitely would stay again!

Very chic. My 5 day stay was awsome! Location is perfect for walking anywhere downtown. I recommend a suite for space and window view if it's a must. I loved the artsy atmosphere… very cool! Most importantly it was very clean and staff were superb! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Trendy hotel, the Bershire room located on the first floor is one of the best places to grab a drink due to its contemporary and chic design.

Great location, decent amenities with a modern design. I recommend getting a room facing out instead of towards the courtyard, though — the room facing in was very dark.

Check in was delayed due to a shift change where we were not informed that our room was ready. The room felt like they were trying to cover up cheap with quirky. Incredibly obnoxiously loud guests were yelling in the hall and knocking on doors at 2 AM. Next time we will AirBnB.

Worst experience, front desk staff short and rude, room was missing things from the mini fridge and soda cooler, check out they were accusing us of stealing the things from the room. They don't speak to each other so u can understand them they all speak in spanish.
