The hotel is centrally located in the water tower close to Michigan avenue, restaurants. Great spacious room with beautiful views. Friendly and welcoming environment. We were treated like royalty. Great option for a trip to the city.

Really top notch hotel fabulous Guest relations Spa was nothing special I've gotten much better pedicures then the full body experience I recieved. And pelicans NBA team was staying here which means I wasn't the tallest guy on the elevator anymore.

We celebrated our anniversary today at the Spa and it was fabulous! We had the most incredible couples massage followed by the most incredible dessert and champagne! Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Loved it and will visit again. Views of Navy pier and the mile from the Lakeside suite were fantastic. Staff were friendly and engaging. Specifically, Jasper at the front desk, Jasmine with housekeeping, and Billy in the club lounge. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and pampered. My only recommendation for improvement would be to add large ice cubes in the lounge :)

Beautiful hotel with amazing service. Our room had a great view of the city and was well appointed. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom with tons of counter space. Late checkout was not a problem.

The room was very nice with a fantastic view of Lake Michigan. The hotel having it's own private entrance to the water tower mall was very convenient. The pool is a bit small but still very nice and indoors. The rooftop bar and patio is actually on the 12th floor rather than the actual rooftop. Overnight parking was costly at $70+ per night.

Our girls trip this year was to Chicago. What a Wonderful city! And what a wonderful experience it was to stay at the Ritz… Everyone was so helpful and kind. We had an amazing view of the city, with a very spacious room. And, we were all amazed at how Frank went over and above to make our stay just a little more special. Everything about the Ritz-Carlton screams luxury. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are so friendly from the moment you arrive. If only every company was run this well. I wasn't the biggest fan of having to take an elevator to the 12th floor lobby and then another bank of elevators to get to my room, but that's just the way it is. We upgraded to an executive suite and it was fabulous. Great views of the Hancock building and a couple views of the lake. I love you Ritz-Carlton. Can't wait to get back!

We were not impressed with the room at all, we booked a suite and it was less than expected, but one phone call and the front desk upgraded us and then catered to our every request. The hotel is a bit dated, but the Staff made up for that 10 flod and beyond. From Managment, to room service, to the club floor associates, even housekeeping was phenomenal! We will go back just for the Staff!

Stayed at this beautiful hotel many times during my business travels to Chicago… Location is excellent, close to everything… free Nespresso coffee in your room… nice views of Lake Michigan… clean fitness center which was renovated last year… Swimming pool and sauna room are well maintained.

Wow, what a beautiful space. Attended the annual wine gala in the newly remodeled banquet space on the 12th floor, it was beautifully redone. Neutral but beautiful. The food was really good too. Really enjoyed the smoked wild salmon cured and smoked in-house, absolutely delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The entire staff was pleasant, and welcoming as expected. No question or inquiry went unanswered, and discrepancies were fixed immediately, and room service was phenomenal. The location is perfect with beautiful views to go to sleep and wake up to. All of my favorite stores, shops, and restaurants right outside of the elevator or across the street.

I had a drink at this hotel and they were also kind enough to look after my bag for the day, even though I hadn't stayed in the hotel. Overall, lovely place and lovely customer experience. Next time I travel for work will definitely stay there!

Lovely views, decent gym, great spa. Warning: The Cafe closed early on Sunday so I was SOL when I mosied down for my 12:00 p. M. Quad. There was an espresso machine in my room, but I wasn't confident the pods would provide adequate levels of caffeine.

They have the most exquisite delicious arrays of food and superb selection of wine and cocktails. To top it all, you gain and experience the attentive care of Ritz Carlton’s wonderful, caring sommelier, Pierre Lasserre. His staff and their care for individual in their facility was phenomenal. I think the best place to unwind, celebrate or just be is at this Carlton Club lounge! They have provided service above and beyond our expectations at that anyone’s I think! All this gushing and praise I suggest this to anyone wanting to celebrate, unwind, rejuvenate or simply spend a weekend. They will not disappoint. They cover all their bases from the valet all the way to their club amenities! Kudos to the wonderful staff of Ritz Carlton Chicago. Most, on that exquisite Club Lounge. It’s worth all the time spent.

I will start by saying I totally understand quality comes at a price. The prices at the hotel restaurant (Torali) are overpriced tremendously! I paid 72 dollars for a mediocre breakfast at best! I could understand if the breakfast was of great quality but that definitely was not the case. I ordered a omelet and coffee my wife order pancakes, 3 strips of bacon and a orange juice. The price is outrageous this was not a high quality breakfast by no means. Definitely upset customer!

The Bad-had to call 3 times for slippers and finally got 1 pair. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable, but not detailed at all, Peninsula (where we stayed the weekend prior blew away the Ritz in this category, wrapping up chargers in Penisinula ribbons, arranging shoes etc). The pool was very cold, we came with 3 children who swam anyway, but it was too cold!
The Good-Club level service was exceptional, enjoyed beverage selection and snacks, front desk was quick (check in and out), valet and luggage were timely. The hotel is beautifully remodeled and enjoyed a cocktail at the bar. It is friendly for children and our corner suite was large and filled with light, perfect for our family. I even called and had them set up a tent for the kiddos which was ready when we arrived with three kiddy robes. Service was very good, besides our room attendant who could have done a LOT better, this really knocked them down a star. My husband would have only given a 3, but I feel the good deal we got grants a 4/5.
I would stay here again with kids because they accommodate 5 in a room, but the Peninsula will te our business as a couple.

Have stayed here before and after the renovation. The renovation is really good. The lobby, rooms, restaurant, spa & health club are all very nice and the whole look and feel of the property is fantastic. It is one of the nicer Ritz Carlton properties I have stayed in. The location is great and the staff was fantastic.

Enjoyed an event here. Plenty of room for the silent auction and guests to look and mingle. The bar was well staffed so there was essentially no wait for drinks. Dinner was a Filet Mignon which was delicious.

I can't recommend this place enough. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. The rooms were impeccable and the view of the lake was great.

This hotel just had a beautiful renovation in their lobby which really elevated this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, as expected, and it's always nice to have a Nespresso machine in the room as well. The staff is super friendly and the location of this hotel is fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel of you're looking for an upscale place to stay on Michigan Ave.

Hotel has undergone a major renovation which has significantly improved the common areas and rooms and suites adding an ultra modern flair as opposed to a more traditional aesthetic. The room was clean, beautiful, and I had no complaints. The facilities are truly five star. The service at the hotel can be described as mixed. I am a Platinum member, and I booked a room at the Ritz Carlton Club. The Club is new and beautiful though very expensive. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful at the club. The same cannot be said for the front desk staff who came across as supercilious (perhaps they would use this word to self characterize their demeanor? ). At check in, the male receptionist was unfriendly and arrogant. Similarly, at check out the male receptionist was unfriendly and did not even bother to ask how the stay was. Finally, no porter offered to move my bags into the uber. Overall, great experience though the front desk should be retrained.

The Ritz is always a top notch hotel to enjoy. The rooms are impeccable and far beyond everything else — the service is in a league of its own.

I had brunch at the Ritz-Carlton. Try the baked eggs they're pretty awesome! The service was amazing and every need or consideration was taken care of immediately. It is of course, a little pricey, but that's the Ritz.

Check in is terrible. They make you wait wait and wait. Plus, they try to give you the worst room they have with nothing like they advertise. Call them and ask for another room. They have much better rooms. They just try fool you. Plus, the food is terrible. Not worth it at all.

This is a great place to attend a conference. The food is excellent. The service is very professional. The location is ideal.

The Ritz Carlton Chicago is in a prime location for visiting the city, a block off of the Magnificent Mile and connected to the water tower place. The Hancock Center is right next door and you are steps to the lake. If you have children (the will offer you a complimentary crib on check-in! ) the park next door is one of my favorites in the city. The interior was renovated in 2017 and features an incredible art deco lobby. The staff is incredibly helpful, in a very noticeable way in this day and age, everyone you meet will offer to exceed your expectations. Not every guest room has received an upgrade yet, so ask the desk if you can have a renovated room when you check in.

The lobby bar is a favorite for post-work cocktails. The outdoor terrace is a lively in warm weather. Drinks and service are high quality.

Very high quality as is all of their venues. This one is in the heart of Chicago's miracle mile. Lots of surrounding activities. Prices are of course on the high side.

Food was good, however there is no view if you eat in the restaurant. If you eat in the deli you get a great view. Seems wrong. Expensive meal no view.

Having stayed in most hotels in Chicago, this is still my favorite. Some extraordinary water views, service that is impeccable and always ahead of the curve. Hate cannot go wrong place to stay. Get one of the executive suites on the corner and you will be thrilled to pieces and may never leave your room!

My room was in the 60th floor. I felt like I was on sky. Loved everything from my room to service. My stay was really memorable.

Beautiful and exclusive hotel right next to The Magnificent Mile. The executive suite is roomy and the view is great. Hotel has all the amenities you can expect from a 5 star hotel and the sights are within walking distance.

Newly redone hotel. IMHO they ruined a classic. New lobby design is incoherent, busy and garish. Room update is ok. Some services such as coffee in the lobby, shoe shines, newspapers appear to be gone. They at least kept a superior group of concierge personel All in all still a comfortable above average hotel but no longer on a part with the Four Seasons.

Very rude and condescending gentleman who was in charge of seating tonight in the Lakeside Room. We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had wonderful service. Very surprised the hotel is allowing such rude behavior to guests.

The beauty of this hotel and level of pride of service is definitely breathtaking. I had the opportunity of a life time to have a 3 hour tour of this beautiful hotel from Tia, an HR Manager, as well as Joe, the Director of Security. We were also able to meet the General Manager along with many of the professionals that run the day to day operations. They are currently undergoing a major renovation in their hotel and it is definitely something no one should miss one it is complete. Book your hotel rooms now because the Ritz Carlton of Chicago, if not already, will be the best place to stay while traveling.

I was really impressed with how friendly everyone was. Both staff and fellow guests made it a point to say hi. Our room was very spacious and had a great view of the city and lake Michigan. I also was very happy to find out they offered complimentary shoe shining overnight. The central location to all the shops. Kept both my wife and I busy in our spare time.

If I could give this hotel and it's staff more than five stars I would! I had a previous problem with the location during a past stay (we were double billed), and Anna and her staff took care of it immediately. Not only that but they made our most recent stay even more enjoyable. I got a stomach virus during our stay and the staff went out of their way to get me saltines and chicken broth which weren't even on the menu. (I didn't even have to ask, they knew with my ginger ale and sprite order that I was not feeling well. ) I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Chicago. The price is competitive, the location is perfect, and the rooms are huge. We loved it! Please note… This hotel is under a little construction but you could barely tell unless you had stayed there before. There was no noise or interruptions and the hotel is still beautiful.

I finally found a place to stay. I go to Chicago a lot. I stayed with all the big chains and most of the boutiques around here. This one is clearly the best one. The rooms are nice, the stuff was very professional and helpful.

Unclear was the lobby that is up to the 12th floor. Very strange to have been my first time there as in any other hotel lobby is entered. Very comfortable place, quite luxurious.

I went for a wine tasting and was in awe of the beautiful decor. The staff working the event were all very friendly and efficient.

I attened The Frank Sinatra 100th birthday party dinner last year and stayed at the hotel. I had the valet park my car. When my car was returned to me in the morning there was a large door ding on the drivers side. They made note of it and said that they would take care of it. When asked to complete a survey I pointed this out. I was again notified that they took responsility and would pay for the damages. After several weeks had passed I called the manager and advised him of the lack of follow up. He advised me that he would take care of the situation to my satisfaction. That was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing. The hotel was fine but their word means nothing.

We have never stayed in a cleaner hotel or been treated better anywhere. This isn't a hotel we would usually be able to stay at but I got put up there once for a convention and ever since we have pinched our pennies so once a year so we can stay there and get treated like royalty! Just left yesterday and wish we could have stayed longer. Already counting down the days until next year.

Clean, quiet, luxurious! We stayed on the 18th floor overnight during the summer. Our window faced South with great views of Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. Soft beds, his/her sinks in bath, and a very comfortable room. I think the tub was too deep to step in and out of for a shower — almost 24". Its nice if you wanted a bath, but who really takes hotel baths? Would definitly stay here again!

Our stay in this hotel was amazing. The staff was beyond delightful and the room (specifically the bed) was outstanding. We travel a lot and have not experienced such a perfect hotel until this weekend.

Delightful. Was upgraded to a corner room on the 28th floor — sweet! Service so nice. A small example. I was just there overnight, so brought my toiletries in a zip lock bag. Dumped them on the counter and went to dinner When I returned, they were all lovingly laid out in size order. Too cute. And my ice bucket was filed twice a day. Yes, it's the little things that make such big difference Would love to return.

My wife stayed at your hotel for a trade show she was attending. On her second morning, while waiting for a taxi in the lower lobby, two of her gold and platinum bead bracelets slipped unnoticed off her wrist. That evening, after some anxious backtracking with no luck, called hotel security to see if they might have been found in the hotel. Moments later the head of security was at her door with the two bracelets. They had been found by a bellman that morning and turned in to security. We thank and commend your staff for their honesty and integrity. Besides that, the hotel was wonderful.
