Old, unkept, disgusting looking breakfast, facilities ie toilet & bathtub not working properly. Fridge never cold even when set on high.

Rooms were clean and a good size. Staff ere friendly and helpful. Located near several chain restaurants, and only a short drive from downtown. Smelled a little like smoke, even in the non-smoking sections.

My parents come in from Iowa to visit and they chose this hotel because of the photos and other positive reviews. The photos were surely staged by the staff and the reviews must have been older ones. When my girlfriend, her son and me and my daughter went to visit my parents at the hotel and spend time with them, I obviously was not impressed. The hallways were dirty, the elevator had buttons hanging out of their respected holes from their wiring, their room was Ok but the bathroom was extremely small. When we went to enjoy the indoor pool, which was the main selling point to my parents, it was cold, like the heater was broken. Then what was also a huge surprise was that the hot tub was not only out of order, but COMPLETELY FILLED IN WITH CONCRETE! I wouldn't recommend this hotel even if I was paid. Please, if you've gotten this far in my review, go someplace else.

Hot tub no longer exists (but is still on the website). Pool didn’t have any steps to get in/out, just metal ladders that were not very stable or sturdy. Hotel was rundown, dirty, and desperately in need of some TLC. Stayed here when friends visited years ago when it was Comfort Inn but just moved back to the area and recommended it for my boyfriend’s parents… what a mistake—will NEVER stay here again or recommend it to any visitors.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed! Floors are disgusting, bugs laying everywhere, window was left open and the room was full of mosquitoes! If it wasn't so late and we were completely worn out, we would have told them to forget it! Never staying here again! Period! Absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone! And that last picture, really looks like dried cum on the skirting of the bed.! Update: hair on the table, expired elevator inspection and the list goes on!

For the price, this hotel is hard to beat. We've stayed here twice and the front desk workers have been personable and kind. Last time we stayed we broke a microwave (don't ask) and they were as gracious and helpful as we were overwhelmed. The rooms smell clean and the carpet is new. The beds are soft with a good pillow selection. The bathroom is small and the tub is dated, but for the price, I couldn't ask for more. The breakfast is typical, but the breakfast area is cozy and accommodating. We've struggled with other Quality Inn and Suites, but this hotel keeps us coming back for the chain. If this hotel was the standard we'd always stay at Quality Inn and Suites!

Champaign, Illinois rooms were very nice and the breakfast there is very good and well prepared.

Stopped there while going on for a long drive. The hotel was good. It is closer to I74 which is a plus. The rooms were clean. The small drawback that we noticed is that the rooms looked little small than the typical room apart from that it was a good place to stop by to get some sleep when you are travelling in a long drive.

Great rooms comfortable, I had a concern I follow the champaign Urbana news gazette I believe I seen the front desk worker David in the news paper for sexually assaulting a child he looks a little shaved up but I’m pretty sure that’s him I won’t be staying there again I don’t want my grandkids around a sex offender.

I called to speak with manager multiple times the person working in the morning named brennen was very rude and become disrespectful I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have had great experiences but since the owner is gone in DC this guy has let everything go to his head I had sent 3 people to call and try to get ahold of the kind lady but they where all hung up on or told he would call the police let’s weed out the felons and negotiate hiring better staff at the quality inn in Champaign they had great staff about 6 months ago please bring them back night shift is even worse like I believe the lady has a Gun charge for Better business and less stress just take your business to baymont inn until the owner is back to deal with the issues in this hotel.

Nice hotel at a good price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had standard options including eggs and sausage. Indoor pool was freezing cold.

Spent the night on our way home from Branson. Room was clean and nice size. Air conditioner took several hours to cool the room down.
Breakfast was okay. No sugar free syrup like the last 2 Quality Inns we stayed at.
Was a good value and pool was nice however I didn't like that the only way in was a ladder instead of stairs.

I will say this. The room was clean, but that's about it. Overall lack of maintenance. Found a used syringe by our vehicle, witnessed 2 drug deals go down in the parking lot. Discovered in the second day that our window did not lock. There was a piece of wood to hold it shut. Do not stay here. Not a safe property.

Don't stay here! Please! It's not safe, its frequented by drug pushers and prostitutes and always reeks of marijuana! The owner is an Indian guy who cheats workers and the employment system, doesn't properly pay people by Illinois law and pays people under the table. They treat guests and workers unfairly and unjust. The place is not clean theres dirt and trash and bed bugs. They bomb rooms with bug spray daily, toxic. This is all TRUTH. Not embellishing at allll. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere please! Plus they have an Indian couple LIVING there and they dont pay them, they make them work for free. Very unusual. beware the manager of this hotel creates fake reviews for his benefit and the hotels. So if theres no picture next to the review its him. Just saying. The public consumer has a right to know the truth.

We are diamond choice members and are stay here was the worst experience every at a Choice hotel. We travel for business and use Choice for are stays. This was the worst kids running up and down halls in to the late hours of the night. The guest above use had kids that where jumping we complained to the front desk and nothing was done. You could smell marijuana in the hall and people in the front lobby drinking and being load. The front desk said there was nothing he could do. I think he was afraid of them. The police should have been called. Don't stay here if you are a law abiding citizen. Not a place for family.

Good management, hot pool, fast food, lots available food delivery, extra sheets, blankets when needed. 24 /7 coffee.

Very dissatisfied with my stay. Even though we paid for 2 nights, Choice Programs would only award points for one night because we showed up in the morning of the second day. Despite the fact that we called the hotel and checked in, and notified them that we were doing this through comments. Ridiculous policy.

Affordable, very friendly staff, nice pool, and great breakfast!

One of the better values around for the price. In addition to providing clean comfortable rooms, they also give you a complimentary breakfast included with your room… Pets are welcome, only adding to the appeal, and the staff is always courteous and friendly. When we are traveling we always check to see if there is a Quality Inn nearby.

Nice inexpensive place to stay. Convenient location, heated pool, good breakfast. Common areas are a little dingy but the rooms are nice.

I would have given a 4 star but there appeared to be mold by drapes. I would give it another try.

Very accommodating, but needs work on cleaning and upkeep of rooms. Couch bed mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable. Main beds were alright.

The hotel was fine and the sheets were done well. Overall it looked pretty great for the one night I was there.

Beds were comfy. Front desk people were nice. Pool was great. Hot tub was out of order. I bet breakfast was great… but I was so comfortable in the dang bed… I didn't get up in time.

Room was clean and in good condition. Reservation had been made on-line. Check is was a breeze. Breakfast area was neat and kept stocked with selections. Love those waffle maker s.

Where do I start? When we got to our hotel room, it stunk! It smelled like someone smoked in the room, then tried to cover up the smell with a cheap air freshener. So, I go to the front desk to complain and we got another room. It smelled better, but the room was still a dump. There were dead roaches on the bathroom floor, mold in the tub, water stains in the ceiling, and there were cigarette burns in the sheets. My wife woke up with a sore back, since the mattress was really hard. Sleeping on the floor may have been more comfortable. Since we were traveling with our one-year-old daughter, I requested a Pack ‘n Play for her to sleep in. They gave it to us without padding. They expected my daughter to literally sleep on top of the bars at the bottom of the Pack ‘n Play. So, I go back to the front desk and told the guy we need padding for the Pack ‘n Play. They didn’t have anything, but he gave us these disgusting sheets that not only stunk, but they had stains. So, we ended up using the sheets off our bed and the cushions on the sofa to make our daughter a bed. The cherry on top was breakfast. Cold coffee, no milk, no waffle batter and the cereal was stale. What a joke. The best thing about my experience is checking out and seeing that dump in my rearview mirror. I’ll never go back.

Management here was exceptionally thoughtful. We arrived fairly late in the evening, but when the concierge saw that we had three kids and had only booked a room with one bed, he upgraded us to two full beds at no extra charge. He also personally brought us towels at the pool and repeatedly inquired whether our stay was comfortable. As mentioned by another reviewer, parts of the hotel were still being renovated; once the renovations are completed, this will be a solid 5-stars. We stay at a lot of budget hotels, and this was head and shoulders above the competition.

Shack was very nice! He really cared about my stay. He was there for most of my stay. There was no word "no" in his bone. I found out that all the queens are on one floor. Breakfast isn't all that at all. But other then that it was a nice stay. Can't wait till they finish remodeling. you should ask for a remodeled room.

For the price, it was great. Pool was nice, already knew the hot tub wasn't working, and that was ok. Saw no bugs (which I checked the mattresses for evidence of bed bugs). Breakfast was a nice spread. Staff was friendly.

Basically. Lipstick on a pig. Good for night. But not much more. You get what you pay for. Owners really don't want to obviously update most foreign ownership only cares about money brought in. Not what they're providing their customers. Maybe if you update then you can charge a little higher fee and be full all the time. No Fire Protection, place could burn the ground in a flash, especially when they allow people to smoke in non smoking rooms (cigarettes/weed). Guess their insurance won't pay for it when it burns on there negligence to enforce the rules. Maybe the fire chief should be called next time. I'm sure he'll get there attention with some fines or shut down.

The pool is not heated only the room. Hot tub doesn't work along with the elevator and side doors, TV doesn't work as well its all fuzzy & can't get a decent picture. Toilets barley flush in our king size room. The chlorine is so strong your eyes will burn & you will develop a cough within minutes of being inside. This place is garbage. If your going to advertise something it should be there. Worst hotel. Don't waste the money or your points staying in the dump.

Good service clean room comfy bed good pool hot tub was being renovated but that just means its going to be better.

The building and interior is extremely old and in disrepair. The room furnishings need to be replaced. Beds were lumpy. The breakfast was horrible. I've never had "eggs" powdered or otherwise that had no resemblance of actual eggs. Threw them away. Ive been in many other motels for spending about 80 bucks that were much better. Avoid this place unless you have no other alternative.

The location was nice. Easily accessable from highway. Hotel was alright. Nothing fancy. Breakfast is okay. Good place to stay for a cheap price.

Bad hotel. The rooms are filthy and smell bad, the towels are such low quality they leave fibers all over you and the internet doesn't work at all. The televisions are also incredibly bad quality, they look like an old CRT despite being flat screens. Don't stay here.

My boyfriend and I have never been so impressed by a hotel before. The room perfect, very clean, had everything we needed, the most comfortable pillows and beds, microwave, fridge, better sized towels then most hotels, and very easy to get too. We couldn't have asked for a better room. But being that when your away from home you can only plan so much and this is where the wonderful staff comes in. The gentlemen at the front desk went of out his way to get us a cab to make it to our event that night, which also was there waiting when we got out of the event as well, which was incredible since no one wants to be stranded somewhere they've never been. Made us feel at home and safe, which is the ultimate when going to a hotel. Already have plans to go back. So if you'll be the area don't hesitate on a place to book, book Quality Inn and Suites.

“old wine in a new bottle” yet another pleasant stay. My favorite person SHAK was still there working. Its a real treat when you have such a helping staff working around you to make the stay comfortable. There are only few managers who go that extra mile to keep there guest happy shak is one.

Continental breakfast every morning from 6-11am. Two floors. Plenty of parking. Surrounded by many restaurants and businesses. But great for the price consideringng there are three other hotels just around the corner. Transportation to anywhere is difficult. Bus stops are close but times are scarce so plan ahead. Not much else to see in Champaign so its a bit off campus.

Checked into a room with condom rappers on the floor, blood on the sheets, and a dirty bathroom. The water was super cold in the 2nd room offered. Nothing quality about this "Quality Inn. "

Stayed here one night as we were passing through town. The guy checking us in was very nice. The lobby wasn't very impressive but the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small and it was hard to close the door behind me but other than that I have no complaints. Would stay here again.

Granted, I showed up late and without a reservation, but there was plenty of room in the parking lot so it seemed likely there would be more than a couple of rooms left. I checked in, walked down to my room, and let myself in. While there was nobody there, it was apparent that someone was still checked in. There was a suitcase of some kind, the bed was unmade and the room pretty filthy. Went back to the front desk, told the clerk, he apologized and assigned me to another room. This was an improvement. No one living there. On the other hand, it hadn't been cleaned from the last occupant. Bed unmade, towels and trash on the floors, etc. Back to the front desk. Apologetic clerk. Offered to reduce my rate for the night and said he would go down and check out the next room himself before sending me down. He comes back and gives it a clean bill of health. I go down, and yes, it's better looking. Until I look in the bathroom. There's no toilet seat! It's broken off and thrown under the sink. Back to the front desk. "Listen, I'm usually not a complainer… " More apologies. An even bigger discount on a room. It's really late and I don't feel like trying to find another motel. Off he goes to check another room. He comes back. This room is fine, he says. It's clean, has a toilet seat. The only thing is, there's a stain on the bedspread at the foot of the bed, but no big deal. I go down to the room, and it passes my quick inspection.

We loved the hotel! We stayed for 2 nights, our bed was comfortable, the room was clean (there were a few pesky fruit flies but everything else was great! ), and the staff was excellent! The manager upgraded us to a preferred room and kept the rates very low for us. Great hotel for the price! Wonderful stay!
