We booked our wedding block here and their customer service is exceptional! The constant and effective communication with Issac and his staff met our expectations! We highly recommend the Hyatt for wedding blocks!

The Hyatt family of hotels is great! The staff are always happy, out going,. Knowledgeable, helpful. We love these hotels, even though we prefer a room near the elevator you do not hear it. The rooms are well thought out and very comfortable, beds are so comfy I never want to get up. We ate at the hotel last night, oh my… I had the Brie appetizer and let's just say it was to die for, my husband had the bacon sandwich and was also very happy! We totally recommend this hotel and all of the Hyatt hotels!

Expensive, uninspired drink menu lacking variety. View from terrace is of a parking garage. Inattentive staff. But this is Normal and anything different is to be valued.

The room our conference was reserved for was too small for the one hundred people who attended. My girlfriend and I ended up choosing to leave earlier than we intended, rather than continue to sit in the oven. The building otherwise seemed modern and well kept. I would probably come back if fewer people were attending the event in the same room.

Desk staff were extremely nice and professional. Room was really nice and clean. Plenty of towels, shower got plenty got. AC worked really well! Breakfast was good but eggs were powdered. Very enjoyable stay!

Our home away from home. My son lives in Normal Illinois and we visit there alot and we always stay at the Hyatt. This hotel has everything! Great rooms and the best staff. Going to be there in 8 days!

We visited the Hyatt Place Rooftop for a girls night out. The decor is really nice, atmosphere was great. Drinks were delicious. I'm looking forward to visiting again.

Incredibly accomating and friendly staff. A great location, right in the heart of uptown Normal. No hot tub, but I'd still pick it over the Marriott, in my opinion.

I stayed here or a work conference. Check-in was super easy and the staff was very friendly. We had a room on the third floor with an okay view. I did forget to bring a couple things and when I went down to the desk they provided these for me. The breakfast is pretty small with choices of oatmeal yogurt and then eggs and bacon with pancakes but it was enough. The room was very clean with enough pillows and our room had a king size bed with a pull out couch.

This passed weekend the JLR family reunion was held in Bloomington Illinois and those of us who chose to stay at the Hyatt Place in Normal were very pleased with our stay! The staff and service were second to none! I would recommend the Hyatt Place in Normal to anyone who is looking for a clean and friendly atmosphere. There was always a smiling face and someone willing to assist. I can go on and on about my stay but I will end it with!

Nice location, right on ISU campus. Very nice area, lots of places to eat / drink in walking distance. Very nice hotel, seems to be new. Great breakfast, very nice pool. Hotel seemed very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Only downfall was the amount of noise. It was VERY easy to hear people in the hallway. They were crystal clear, so it was difficult to have a quiet room. I didn't walk down our hall very far, so I don't know if the people in the hallway can hear people inside the rooms.

We were in town for a regional swim meet at a local high school and the location of this hotel was perfect. Too less than 10 minutes to get to the pool. Also hotel was located in an area with plenty of restaurants. The room was awesome, very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The service was wonderful. Breakfast was great as well — a great selection of foods and all were of high quality. All the employees were very nice and accommodating.

High reputation, great place to stay the night. Odds and Ends menu, a menu where you can purchase things that you forgot like a toothbrush, razor, shaving cream, and tooth paste, all for really cheap and still useable.

My experience here was lovely. I got snowed off the road during a blizzard and I was stressed out because of an engagement I needed to be at within the next 12 hours. The hotel I tried to reserve last min when I couldn't drive anymore, upon calling back, bumped me because they had no availability and made a reservation mistake. That hotel called the Hyatt and asked them to match the price and they did. Most of the staff seems to work like a family unit. They were all very kind, and Edwina went out of her way to make sure I had a great stay. So much so, that I asked for her name so that I could write this review. Breakfast was delicious too. Thank you for making a crappy snowy situation into a great one.

Chic hotel. Strong and fast free Wi-Fi connectio both in room and in public area. The only thing I would recommend the hotel to offer is an in room safety deposit box. Breakfast is ok. Juices are fresh and there are many types of milk to choose from.

Excellent, excellent staff. Every single person I encountered went above and beyond to make my business trip run smoothly. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is great and coffee is prepared early and often. I wish every business trip could be like this!

Very nice. Parking is in the garage across the street. Complementary breakfast is very nice. There's a train station across the street. The trains didn't keep me awake but it's something to consider.

Newer/modern hotel with really nice accommodations and a great staff. Love the room's space and styling! Surprised to see it is a "dog friendly" hotel. Will stay again if in the area.

Very nice place to visit and spend a night or or weekend or whatever is needed. Reasonably priced for the quality and amenities. Well maintained and clean building and rooms. Nice pool and hot tub. Very nice complementary breakfast. Friendly front staff and housekeeping and and breakfast staff. Easy quick parking availability. Near many restaurants and other businesses.

Breakfast was great. Room was really clean. Location is really close the train so did wake up to the sound of it twice during the night. Earplugs were provided but I chose not to use them. Really close to Illinois state campus which was a plus. Nice area around location. Enjoyed the live music that was playing in the roundabout that is located close by.

Not given what I paid for online. Selected a king bed, I had a queen. No bath tub in the whole hotel except for the handicapped, I was told, even though they put online shower/tub. Had two kids and they were unhappy because of that. Couldn't sleep all night because of train honking horns every few minutes. Very bad experience.

I really enjoyed our experiance which was a first for us and celebrating our one year wedding anniversary. The room was really nice for the price really comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool while we were there as well. Now the shower stream was a little dull and the breakfast wasnt the best at all besides the juice but the room and the atmosphere plus where we were located was worth it.

This is a very nice hotel that goes out of its way for their guests. The rooms are very clean and the restrooms are very well maintained. Great location for families visiting Illinois State. You can walk to the train station and take a trip to Chicago or St. Louis.

The hotel was in a great location and was very nice inside. Their indoor parking was nice however it was across the street which wasn't so nice in the rain. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel was amazing! 1. It's very new, so it's modern and beautiful. 2. The rooms are huge and all have a couch area that's partially separated by a small wall. 3. They have a dining area with a 24-hour market/cafe. 4. They don't have microwaves in the rooms (they do, however, have mini fridges), but there is a microwave in the dining area downstairs that you can use. 24-hour access. 5. It's right across the street from the train station! I saw other reviews that complained about the train noise, but honestly, you'll get over it soon. And the last train that comes through isn't that late anyway!

Loved our stay! We made a quick decision of where to stay while on the road and couldn't have been happier. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast in the morning was great and everyone working was great.
