We decided to stay here because it was a good price for a weekend and we saw some good reviews on another site. The room was clean, but quite small and you can hear everything from the other rooms. I had to go out to a dollar store to buy a fly swatter because there was at least a dozen of the little buggers in the room. After a night on a lumpy, hard bed, the manager called us on the phone at 8 AM, waking us up to ask if we needed towels. We told him no thanks and went back to sleep. At 10 AM the smoke alarm started beeping and going off. We grabbed a maid in the next room and he went to get the manager. The maid returned with the manager and asked us again if we needed towels and again we told him no thanks. After much fiddling, the manager finally got it off the wall and said he would change the batteries and bring it back in a little while. I told him that I had to get ready to go out to work and that my wife was going to go back to sleep and that she would call him when she got up. 30 minutes later, I got a call from her and she was freaking out. The male maid had WALKED INTO OUR ROOM without knocking to bring us the towels we had told him twice we did not need. He was standing next to the manager when I told him she was going back to sleep and that I was leaving. She went to the front office and all the guy had to say was "Sorry, It was mistake. " I have to agree, because staying in this hole was the biggest mistake we ever made. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for lodging.
