Love comfort Suites! You can tell this hotel is run very well and the manager Laura is amazing. She will go out of her way to accommodate requests and make your stay pleasurable. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Customer service was a big issue at this hotel. I came to this hotel to visit with my relatives and would never come back. As an owner, operator, and manager of my own Comfort Inn, this hotel is very unprofessional. Brett was very aggressive to me and my friend. He even called my hotel and said very negative things about me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my WORST ENEMY.

Everything looks great but the bed Natural Foods getting a little worn out, customer service was great…

Stayed at this hotel last night and between 9:45 am and 11 am someone hit my friends car hard enough right in the front to push it over a curb. There are zero cameras in the property and the general manager Laura who was working during the whole time was rude and unhelpful and even refused to help to police officer with any info on who checked out. I asked for her bosses contact information and she basically said there is a property management company and she has no boss to answer to and couldn’t / wouldn’t even give me a phone number.

Conveniently located next to the outlet mall and just off I-10. Check in was very expedient. Room smelled fresh and clean. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Staff very friendly. Great hotel overall.

Beds slept really well. I was really impressed with the size and cleanliness of the room. Enjoyed the pool. Tried the "fitness center ", wasn't much to it and was not stocked with water or cups. Was shocked that they only had one washer and one dryer for customer use and they were expensive and coin operated. The desk clerk was in need of a personality and an attitude adjustment.

We had a good one night stay. Everyone was friendly. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and up to date and they have rooms to accommodate our family of 6. We would stay there again.

I reserved on the Choice app for a 2 Queen handicap accessible suite with a sleeper sofa and roll in shower because I'm in a wheelchair and can't walk very well upon checking in I received a 1 King handicap accessible suite with the sleeper sofa and a roll in shower I even showed the guy my confirmation email from Choice and he said that room had a regular tub with a seat and the grab bars so if you're handicap make sure before hand I've had issues with other hotel brands ie IHG (Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express) Hilton (Hampton Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites, Home 2 Suites, and Hilton) and now with Choice I'm not a heavy traveler but I'd like for once to check into a hotel without any issues the room I received the bed was very low to the ground and was difficult to get out of once I got into it but I would recommend it if you are staying in the area shopping at Tanger etc.

Very good rooms, pool and breakfast. The only thing I'd like to see improve is the lighting in the bathroom and bwdroom. I found it very dim for applying makeup and my husband had a hard time seeing to shave his face.

Our stay at Comfort Suites in Gonzales, LA. Was wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent, especially Tori working the front desk. She was a fantastic help and provided exceptional customer service. I would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I am staying at this hotel for work. The rooms are great. Tori is a wonderful person to talk to, she is super sweet. The fresh cookies everyday are the best! love this hotel glad my company decided to stay here.

Nice room, staff friendly, breakfast was ok in the morning. Why a 2 star? No blackout curtains for morning sun. Not only no blackout, which most all hotels have, there was no way to draw the heavy curtain to cover the window. Get this fixed and rating goes up dramatically.

This is an absolutely terrific location. The staff is always so happy and friendly and the rooms are large and roomy and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling either on business or vacation with a family. Easy access to everything — shopping, food, interstate, and expo hall. Can't say enough good about the way it is operated.

What a great hotel! Tori was wonderful and did an amazing job upon check in she was so nice and made me feel very welcome! The manager Laura was so helpful and sweet and went out of her way to make me comfortable. The rooms were very nice and the fresh cookies were a huge plus thanks to everyone who made my trip so lovely!

I could have slept on the floor and it would have been softer. The pillows are just as bad. I awoke the next morning with a terrible headache which was caused by the mattress and pillows. The rooms are very noisy. If anyone above you walks, you know it. If anyone walks down the hall, you know it. The name, Comfort Suites, is very deceiving.

The employees were very helpful and friendly. It was very clean & comfortable, very nice. It still has that "new" smell! I would DEFINITELY stay again.

I am here now and stay here when I visit my office in Gonzales. The staff here is very friendly. My room looks practically new. The TV, A/C, etc work perfectly. I visit alot of different Comfort Suites in my travels. This one ranks as one of the best. If you do have any issues; the staff here will make it right. Highly recommend checking them out.

Do not stay here if you need to use gym on regular basis! Treadmill is broken, bike is broken, clock is broken, and seat on weight set is ripped up. I'm here for 4 nights and very disappointed! Should not advertise you have something that no one can use!

The staff is awesome Hotel it's very clean.

Staff was very nice to me checking in was not a problem my room was clean and I put the do not disturb sign up and I was not bothered. Checking it out was fine and I will stay there again if I'm in need for a room. I only stayed for 12 hours or so. So I could get some rest before I got back on the road. 1/17/18

I stayed at this hotel on 10/31/2017 paid for one night. Checked out on 11/01/2017 and two days later they charged me for a extra night. I have called and called every time I call I’m told I have to speak to a manager about a refund and every time they say there is no manager available. It’s 11/09/2017 now and I still have not been able to get a manager on the phones me to get a refund. I am starting to wonder if this is normal practice at this hotel and how much money a year they profit off people not seeing the extra charge or them making it impossible to get a refund. I travel with work and our main office is in this town. I will never stay at this hotel and will do my best to make sure my work colleagues never stay there as well.

Conveniently located. Lots of surrounding restaurants, stores. Modern, clean, attractive rooms. Friendly staff.

Don't get room no. Cause the king-sized bed was rock hard and lumpy; I took a 2-1/2 hour nap, woke up & my back was hurting SO Bad! I t took me forever to just get dressed, I almost wanted to call the front desk, just to send someone to help me put on my socks and shoes; That's how bad & UNCOMFORTABLE the Bed was!

The Gonzalez Choice hotels know how to do it. Both the Clarion and Comfort Suites are 100% awesome.

First off I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth … I went on a family trip and we checked into this hotel when I tell you they gave us a room that didn't have no air conditioner working the tub was very dirty, so we told the front desk clerk that the room is in bad condition she had no idea that the room was that way so she had to leave the front desk by the way she was the only one working out of the whole hotel that night leave the front desk just to accommodate us and put us in another room … Then the elevator didn't work and we was on the 4th floor and they didn't have no vending machines nowhere on any floor at all but the first one in the lobby where the front desk was … Comfort Suites y'all need to get it together baby!

Found a green roach in the bed that my baby was in. I brought it to the front desk to the attention of the employee. She took my name down and said she would give my number to the manager for a possible discount. Never heard from him, and they didn't seem to care at all. I should not be worrying about roaches in the hotel room for the price I paid.

We were charged more then the quote we were given. Our a/c was either broken or couldn't keep up. Good chance we brought a box fan or we would have had to switch rooms for sure! Another friends staying here also had a/c issues. When he switched rooms, the desk clerk tried giving his room to another friend. Good chance he was at the front counter to let that friend know the a/c wasn't working. The desk clerk would have purposely given the room to someone else knowing there was an a/c complaint before it was even checked on! Breakfast ends to early. We weren't aware of breakfast times because the clerk hadn't told them to us so we missed breakfast our first morning there. Which ended up being fine anyways because the food obviously was stale and had been just left in the case from mornings before. The breakfast attendant was VERY rude. house keeping ladies were very sweet, and courtious!

Very nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Our only concern was a noisy ac unit that we turned off at night to sleep. From 3-4pm traffic in area is heavy due to work shift change.

It was all good until bed time. The air conditioner sounded like it need to be replaced. It worked fine other than not running for long periods of the night. The mini fridge had a life of its own as well. And most importantly never ever stay in room 112… unless you like to wake up 5:00 am. It's right next to the kitchen, and the cabinets line the wall next to that room. I do not like waking up at 5:00 am. Front desk personnel were nice.

Silverfish and ladybug-type bugs were all over the place in the bathroom. Very little lighting in the rooms. What I'm guessing is an employee (local plates, only there during the day) has repeatedly parked in the blue area between handicapped spaces blocking my access to my car). Very noisy on the bottom floor due to the ridged faux wood flooring that seems to amplify noise. The staff was nice but unable to to figure out how to do a military or AAA discount. Positives — there as always coffee available and the included breakfast wasn't bad. We knew Comfort Suites would be no frills, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Stayed for a night recently. Very clean, good breakfast, and helpful staff. The place smelled brand new. As little as this may seem, it was nice to be able to open the window in the room and hear the frogs at night. I had a great night sleep.

Pros: New build, nice clean interior. Room was nicely decorated. Large TV, fridge, microwave. Nice breakfast: Waffles, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs. Would have been nice to have some cereal. Cons: AC was noisy. Staff was rude. Sound proofing not so good; could hear the people upstairs.

New construction, very nice sized room and clean. Probably the nicest Comfort Suites I've stayed in. Quite impressed.

Terrible night auditors and trainers, no help at all to a tired, traveling, already paid and booked customer. Instead of housing the customer for the night and getting files faxed to them in the morning from the company the customer worked for, they denied residence. I worked night audit for 4 years and I know how files are done. Hospitality was not their goal and certainly not satisfaction. Not cool!

Clean, well appointed, well staffed. I was disappointed when the Marriott was all booked but this hotel has made me not think twice now that we are here. Everything looks to be brand new and the rooms a very spacious and clean. So glad to not regret staying here!
