Microtel Inn and Suites

Smelled awful like dirty mop water. Checked in to 3 rooms none of the rooms were clean. The beds were not made up. Finally the 4th room was decent enough to sleep in. It was advertised with a microwave/refrigerator neither was in the room. The counters were worn and torn, toliet seats looked like they been there for ten years and the T. V had no signal. This place is in NEED OF A MAJOR REMODELED! This is unacceptable!

Went throw 3 rooms no ac service sucked smelled like people were smoking marijuana. Slow service. No help at all no trash can Frigidaire broke an no trash cans an only 2 small pillows on bed toddler side. Rude service. Was not clean really small. No trash can an also. Worst room of my life.

Should be no stars but have to give one to rate Terrible. Rooms smelled bad, old food stuck to microwave, dirty socks in dresser, hair in tub drain, chair looked like someone had urinated on it. Employees trying to bum money and smokes from people. Lobby is dirty. Pics online don't represent what the rooms look like at all. Wyndham should be ashamed to even put their name on this! Front desk is very unorganized. Go down the road and get a better room for cheaper.

You can tell that whoever cleans and maintains these rooms is lazy and not at all detail oriented. There was tape on the walls, the bathroom floor was greasy, the toilet was not clean, the room smelled of old cup of noodles, the floor was crunchy, and the bedding was ripped in SEVERAL places. We got in very late and the woman behind the desk complained and complained about how late we were, and how they cancel rooms for things like this. She also complained openly about how she didn’t get a chance to eat. I swear she must have told me 6 times she didn’t get to eat her lunch. She also mentioned that they don’t clean rooms unless they know someone will use them. So, the let rooms sit filthy until someone books them? Also, the locks on our door didn’t work, and this is a place where you want them to work. All of the other employees were very kind and respectful. No clean towels though!?! That’s ridiculous… I can’t believe I paid money to stay here…

Never again! We got here the pool was Green! Our first room the toilet seat wasn’t on the toilet, no towels or wash cloths (told they don’t “supply” them) the 2nd room (they moved us to) had people staying in that room! Yes other people were booked in there already. The 3rd room there was NO cable not even a cable box! I was told I would have to “down grade” to a smaller room if we needed the cable we couldn’t do that with 5 people. So we had no t. V. No towels/wash cloths & NO pool! This place is not very clean either! Recommend no one stays here in the future!

The housekeepers stole food out of the rooms and dranks. They took unused towels out of the room and posted a sign no extra towels. Attitudes at the front desk. Significant others to workers in the back room with them. Some of the beds was not made. When we first arrived no one was up front or even came up front for five to ten minutes. Its not the worst but it definately is not the greatest!

By far the worst motel I have ever stayed in. We stayed 3 nights and had 2 rooms. People working at the desk let their friends hang out in the lobby. The pool was dirty after the first night. Our first night both air conditioners didn't work. The desk clerk changed one of our rooms but was very unpleasant about it… They definitely dont know the meaning of coustomer service. The 2nd night we asked for more towels to accommodate the four people we had in our rooms and they only let us have 2 and made us bring our old ones back first… The desk clerks were very rude to a guest of mine thinking she was someone they had prior put out the hotel and SHE WAS NOT. They tried to apologize but professionals don't act in that manner. It was flat out ridiculous. Our 3rd night we went to get more towels and the desk clerk caught an attitude with us and said they were OUT AND IT WASNT HER JOB TO GET US ANY. She said it was house keepings job. I WORK at a Wyndam hotel and I have never witnessed this kind of treatment to customers. The hotel needs a whole change in management… VERY DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE AND MOTEL. Also our rooms were dirty and we found clothes in the drawers and trash on the floor… This motel will never receive a dollar more of my money

Would not recommend staying here. It is very disorganized, not clean, and the staff is not accomidating. Spend the few extra dollars somewhere else… it will be worth it.

Worst hotel ever. It really feels as I’m staying in a trap house. Prostitution in the parking lot. Ppl hanging out playing loud music in the parking lot. I feel really unsafe here especially having to smoke outside with all this activity. The breakfast is frozen. They gave out reservations away then gave us a dirty room. The new room had no hot water. So after driving 6 hours and working 12 hours we had to pack up our things to move into another room. This rooms tub doesn’t drain properly and has a weak spot near the tub. We ask for fresh towels and the towels they gave us would be dust rags at my house. The doors to your room does close completely. Never again!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Waited half a hour for them to have a room ready at 4:30pm when I already had a reservation. Get to the room it was horrible. Dirty sheets with stains and hair in both beds. Hair in the tub and on towels hanging on tub. Food in cabinets. Comb in closet on the floor and a beyond dirty microwave. Went to the lobby to tell them I wasn't staying in there and ended up having to wait yet again for another room with a room full of other people waiting as well! It ended up being a cleaner room (or so I thought) but could have been better. Ended up having baby roaches and a part of the floor stayed wet near the sink. It was horrible and I'll never go again that's for sure. Wish I could post the pics I took!

I check in around 5 pm. It has a funny smell. I could not even sleep thier I left right after icheck in will not stay I waste my money. The sheet had hair on it n some spot I know for sure Hsk not change the sheet they pop them. I would recommend anyone to stay it. The lady at the fromt desk was friendly

Absolutely the worst microtel I have ever stayed in. Had to go to front desk for real pillows, bath towels, no condiments or cups for coffee. Sheets had stains and a hole through it and the mattress. How long since changed? Found a roach in the room. Talked to another guest at the breakfast area that said she had them move her and her dauhhters room three times for bugs. Chair cushion had stains that looked to be bodily fluids. This place should be pulled from wyndams list! never again!

Saw small roaches. "nonsmoking room" stunk of cigarettes. Toothpaste in the sink in the main part of room. However very friendly staff Lady. I'm soo not booking here again. The second floor smellted HORRIBLE. Needs a renovation. Or new management!

This hotel (main lobby) and rooms smell awful (had to ask for a second room because the first smelled like stale cigarettes… but, the second room smelled like mold and mildew — just as bad)! In addition, the room was filthy and in disrepair. This is the second time we have stayed at a Microtel. Both times have been disappointing. I will never stay at a Microtel again.

This place needs a complete renovation and thorough cleaning with a strong disinfectant. The bathroom is unsanitary and dirty. The toilet is covered with hair and the bathroom counters are dirty with used soap and open shampoo bottles. The bathtub paint is peeling. Please pay a little extra and stay some where else. Oh, there's no shower head for the shower!

There are many things that I could say about this place. The rooms were decent, but the bathroom has mold covering th ceiling. The bathrooms also have some questionable appliances. When me and my family got up, we went to go eat breakfast expecting food. There was no food in any of the warmers, and no food in the waffle mix container. When another kind lady went to tell the receptionist, the receptionist came in here, very slowly fixed it, and then rudely said, “there I fixed it. You all can have if you want it. ” Hmmm… I don’t think I’ll go here again.

Enjoyed our stay at Microtel Inn! Brandy was wonderful to help, by giving us information and letting us know of different places we might enjoy eating at.

Ok so first off, when I got in my room I went to the bathroom and the toliet paper roll on the wall was empty, the extra roll was still wrapped. So when I unwrapped the toilet paper roll it looks as though it had gotten wet and was left there to dry leaving a brown discoloration at the bottom of it. Now normally you would think not a big deals just ask for another one. But here is the deal if the housekeeper cleaned the room properly that toilet paper roll would have been freshly changed. Plus the hall smelles like meldow and you couldnt smell any cleanning products in the room at all. Now I did housekeeping myself at a hotel and we had to clean unattended rooms and attended rooms. Next I'm in the elevator and notice that I smell an electrical burning smell which made me look at the certification validation card. So the experiation date on that was 07/17/2017 which clearly it's Oct. 2017 and I'm like what if this thing breaks down (which it was slow as hell) So not super big issues but if your like me if you spend your money on something you expect it to be he right.

The WORST hotel experience ever! Negative 2 on a scale of 1 — 10. The only good to make of it was the helpful night guy with tattoos and the morning worker who was very cheerful. Will never stay here again. Moved THREE times, each bathroom deficient, rusted, stained carpeting, dirty microwave, etc. Was afraid to eat breakfast. Should be shut down.

Horrible experience would not return. The second room we was in (we moved because the first room didn't have a microwave or fridge) soon has we walked in my husband killed two roaches. We left to go to the store came back and there were 3 more roaches. So we changed to another room. Paint chipping, old bath tubs, and horrible smell throughout this hotel. Personal at the front corner do not answer phone calls. I called after I booked the room on a website twice with no answer. Called from the room no answer. After seen the roaches decided not to eat the free breakfast complete turn off. So if you can do not stay at this hotel.

I visited the Microtel Inn on Reiger Road for business purposes. I met an employee there to take care of some paperwork that he needed done. The hotel was what I would expect of a hotel of that rating. It was generally clean, and the workers were very nice and polite. They did not have much traffic going in and out while I was there. It is in a quiet location, despite the fact that it's close to the interstate.

Room has a foul order. Did not give me my veteran discount. Manager is unfriendly and not willing to accommodate my wishes. Manager not willing to work with customer. She has a bad attitude.

The person who checked us in was nice, the hotel was clean and it was quite. The location is perfect but you get what you pay for. I would stay here again but not as my first choice.

The hotel is actually right next to the newspaper "The Advocate" and there are many things that can be improved but for the price of the suite and the neat layout with the kitchenette in between the beds and side tables, it almost felt like it was separate.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The odor was horrible when we walked in and it only got worse. The room had knats flying around the room. The room wasn't made up when we checked in. Housekeeping came to tell us that she hadn't finish the bed, she came back to the room and gave me the sheets to finish it. I went to the front desk and asked for another room. It didn't have the knatts but the smell was horrible. I will never return to this hotel again HELL NO not interested. I had to give them a star in oder to post.

The room was okay. Bur the pool nor working and they're not giving refund nor a % off bill. Breakfast was good either.

Decent the price. Clean room, no Wi-Fi. Free breakfast and onsite laundry, but half the TV staitions don't work. Ideal for anyone on a road trip looking for a break.

The hallway had an odd smell, the room was dated in serious need of an upgrade. The bathroom had a roof leak that they'd attempted to repair before. But it still leaked. The toilet didn't work. When we were ready to leave for the day the elevator was out of order. I Informed the front desk that our toilet wasn't working. The clerk assured me that they would take care of it. When we returned 12 hours later the toilets still didn't work.

Very poor, Stain and damp on the carpet and stain on the wall, Rust everywhere, There was no bread nor milk and we were there at 7:50, breakfast was til 9am. Sausage was just GROSS! If there was an option for 1/2 star, I would have chosen that option. Absolutely will not come back.

I have stayed at other Microtel's in the past and they were all very nice and clean. I can't say that about this place. The whole place smelled of cigarette smoke and dampness. The drawers in our room were filed with dead bugs. The counter tops were sticky. I would go on, but I think I have made my point

My fiance and I stayed here for about 6 weeks and it was great the staff was very friendly especially Patrice, she went out of her way to make you feel welcome. Our room was very comfortable and large we didn't want to leave and go home. The rate was very reasonable. The biscuits and gravy is the best I've ever had at a motel. They're starting to do renovations.

If I could give this a 0 more than once I would. The lobby was the cleanest spot in the building. The hallway was filthy I mean TRASH ALL AROUND and SPIDERS! My 1st room had been smoked in even found an old cigarette box under the bed. Second room was cleaner except for the SPIDERS on the bed and pillow along with the strands of the last guest hair! Food and trash in the stairwell. Needless to say we checked out immediately and went to a Holiday Inn. Will NEVER use this hotel again. I have used it twice in the past and it was no where as filthy as it is now. Ridiculous!

When I checked in, the first room I was given smelled awful and the mattresses were propped up in the middle of the floor. The second room was dirty. There was trash and old towels. The bathroom was gross. The third room was finally decent enough to at least sleep for the night. When we went to breakfast the following morning, the bagels were hard, the coffee was cold, there was water in the apple juice machine and there was only 2 hard biscuits left for the biscuits and gravy they put out… and it was only 8:02 a. M.

Check in January 12th 2015, Rm 212. Roaches all behind the refrigerator, on the desk and in the bathroom. First time staying at the Rieger Rd location and I want be back. Roaches were coming in under the door from the hall. Stain on the wall resembles like a suicide bomber blew their self up. Shame Shame. Never had this problem at the other two locations. I should have checked the reviews.

Let's see where to start. Front desk can't figure anything out. Reservation was made but had two rooms booked they found one of them. Wouldn't let us check in early so now almost 4 and still not checked in. The American flag out front is a disgrace torn and old. If this how they keep the property need to see the rooms dirty sink … stained toilet but o well u get what u pay. Good think my company pays mine… but will advise them not to book here again
