Hampton Inn on Reiger Rd in Baton Rouge came through for us during this catastrophic storm Ida aftermath and made sure our mostly out of town guests had a place to stay or they wouldn’t have been able to attend the wedding. All of the staff: managers, front desk, food services, housekeeping and scheduling all made sure we were taken care of like family. Thank y’all for going above and beyond ❤️

The man at front desk was rude. He wouldn’t open the Pool because it was a cloudy day. Rudely told me the pool hours. He said when weather permitting it would open. The only reason I booked the room was for the pool and my kids didn’t get to swim. We we’re at Top Golf across from the hotel (I-10) for 3 hours and never rained. Sad that someone is to bothered by opening the main things at a hotel. Also at breakfast the only thing to drink was coffee not good for my kids.

Sparkling clean and spacious room… front desk staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions… Hampton Inns are always our first choice!

We had a good time, clean rooms that were comfy and nice! Beautiful hotel. Awesome pool. Only wish we would have got here earlier but they still let us swim after checkout! Happy Father’s Day.

Our stay was good and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good. I'd stay here again and recommend this hotel for a nice stay.

Booked a suite that sleeps 6. Awesome room. Needed a few more towels and other toiletries for all 6 of us but got them quickly with no problems. Got the room comped because some sorry excuse for a human pooped in the swimming pool. Would have loved to take a dip but couldn't bring myself to do so. Staff is VERY friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again. And go swimming next time.

Skip this one. I had the same experience as a couple of other folks. Room smelled terrible, smelled like someone cooked something with curry or some other spice I couldn’t get rid of the smell. Found Hair in the bed, and there are no plugs by the bed. Also there was no towel rack by the sink or shower (weird). The closest door literally fell off when I opened it (no way the housekeeper didn’t know this was broken). Lamps be the bed were falling apart. The guy at the front desk was nice, but when I told him about the closet door all he said was thank you for letting me know. Ended up moving to the DoubleTree 5 minuets up the road.

WILL NOT stay at this one EVER again. The first room we had smelled horrible. The mini fridge was leaking where the plugs for TV and such are. The second room had ants in the window and coming out of the remote control. The floors were sticky that means the tile and the carpet. The couch has stains all over it. If I could give them a 0 I would. Unacceptable!

Breakfast was horrible. Our first room was and there was a hair on the bottle of shampoo that was on the bathroom sink. A light fixture was out. We got changed to room 317. No hairs (that we saw). Beds were not hard but not comfortable either. I would not recommend for families traveling. Overall, room didnt look clean. Would not stay here ever again. Good if you want a 1 night cheap stay thats not a motel. We booked thru AARP for $75 (w/tax $89). Pool looked surprisingly good though.

The hotel was decent until I got in the bed. I looked under the comforter and there's yellow crusty stuff on it… ummmmmm yeah totally grossed out now! This is why I bring my own sheets and blanket! Be sure to check your bed before getting in it.

This hotel will forever be very memorable to me. They have the nicest people and the very first hardest-working hotel manager I’ve ever met. There are several wonderful employees here who have become like family to me as my husband & I stayed many weeks for a work assignment. They’re attentive to guests’ needs and also helpful with whatever they can do for you. Breakfast is good. The rooms are comfortable even though they need some updating. Gym is small though and has very limited equipment. The business center is very useful with 2 work stations and a laser printer. Located in Baton Rouge, you are closer to the bigger restaurants, the countless shopping places, and to the Mall of Louisiana.

This was a great location, room was very nice and breakfast was good. I was disappointed that there was no Bible in the room. Is this true of all Hampton Inns?

The rooms was great with its price, it had 2 different pools and a hot tub, had a great TV channel selection, Wi-Fi speed was good, bathroom extremely clean. Employees were great.

I admit I may be pickey about hotels. I was trying to be conservative with spending, $99 seemed a good deal. I regret not spending the extra$20 at a better place! I figured most Hampton Inns are in the good or better range. Wrong. So just in town 2 days to handle some personal business. The staff is very nice and friendly and no put down of working people. For starters, the room smelled of urine. At first I’m thinking maybe some disinfectant type smell. After not being able to sleep because of cold air blowing Vs desired heat, I put on a warm vest and move over the far side away from the vent blowing at 4 am. Once there, definitely urine smell coming from that corner of the room. Additionally, my best description for room overall was disappointing, depressing. I read the reviews before selecting this hotel which don’t seem to be accurate! I recently have stayed in Home 2 Suites, Drury Inn which both surpassed Hampton. Pluses were the hot water in shower and coffee.

Service staff was awesome even though they stopped serving after we checked in they still offered what was still out to take. Front desk staff was very courteous. If I'm in Louisiana again I would definitely stay there again. Google maps directed us to go a bit out of the way to get there though.

Very nice room! One of the nicest I have stayed at in any price point or location. Great service too. Laundry facilities were a little messed up, but otherwise great.

We stayed in the King Suite and it was very spacious. Accommodations felt very luxurious for the price point and beds and bedding were very comfortable. Front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff were all very courteous and helpful. While I still think it deserves 5 stars, there were two items I could see room of improvement for — the laundry machines were unfortunately placed in the far end of the hotel hallway on the ground floor which made carrying laundry a little difficult. Also, while the breakfast was appreciated the hot food was a little over done and underwhelming. Still above average experience for the price point — we would stay again!

Hampton inn is my go-to hotel where I know the rooms will be cllean, staff will be friendly and breakfast will be great. I've never had a bad experience here. I have only great things to say about Hampton inn!

I will speak only the positive side in this rating: The location of the Inn was awesome, not to far from everything! The king size bed was very comfy, the room was very large, the staff was friendly!

Nice rooms with nice accommodations. Complimentary bottled water and happy hour draft beer. Breakfast has a lot to choose from but cooked food is blah. Definitely sub par the morning I was there.

The toilet paper holder was mounted crooked. It's not at all important, but if you mess that up… You've probably messed up something more important. It's a good location and the service is good when you have to use it (you'll probably have to). Overall it's an okay place to stay.

My family and I stayed one night at this Hampton on a Saturday night. The location was very convenient and the free breakfast was a draw for us. Check in went very smoothly and the room (king suite) was pretty spacious. Everything seemed fine but then after we had unpacked and we're headed out for the afternoon we realized our room door had a problem closing correctly and we had to slam it several times so that it wouldn't just push open on it's own. We didn't have time to address this with staff at the time though. The floors of our room also had this sticky feel to it. No idea what that was but it wasn't pleasant. Also when we went to make up the sleeper sofa the bedding for it wasn't in the room. We called the front desk and they asked if we had checked everywhere and said we would have to come retrieve it ourselves since they were the only person there that night. I definitely expect better from this class of hotel. I slept well enough and everything else was fine till breakfast. They had a only one waffle maker for the very busy hotel so even though I would have liked one I did not have time to wait behind five people in line. They had cheese eggs which were pretty decent but any other hot breakfast item was stale and hard or just gross. Very dissatisfied with the breakfast. I ended up having a bowl of cereal. The hotel itself was pleasant enough and clean enough. I hope in the future they would try to make sure bedding is more available and the to breakfast is fresh.

Good clean hotel great pools. Close to blue bayou water park. But they have feather pillows so make sure you bring your own pillows if they used cotton pillows it would be 5 stars.

Surprisingly quiet. Free breakfast was average. Ten minutes away from downtown is convenient enough.

We stayed here when we were in town for a bowling tournament. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Gave us extra blankets and pillows when we asked without question. The breakfast was very delicious and the complimentary water and mints are a great touch!

We use this hotel 5-6 times a year and it used to be a wonderful place with employees we looked forward to seeing everyone we come. They say it is under new management now and it is going down the drain fast. The breakfast people used to enjoy the customers and this past weekend all the old employees are gone and the new ones were horrible. We will be looking for another place to stay in Baton Rouge for business and pleasure. I don't know who the new management is be they don't seem to be hanging with what used to be there.

The location of the hotel was great. The breakfast was very good. The room itself was clean and comfortable. However, the location of my room was not great. It was located right next to the pool pumps. There was a loud humming sound all night and was unable to sleep.

Let start by saying I am not a paid reviewer or employee of La Quinta. This place and the staff are outstanding in every way. We arrived from a super long cruise/sightseeing/driving vacation throughout Florida and was relieved to be greeted by such friendly staff at the front desk. Room was especially clean and huge! Deco both in the main lobby and our room was "Top Shelf". They had the most comfortable bed of our entire vacation. We want to say thanks to all those folks who made our stay here so nice. Keep up the good work, this was five star all the way! Great Job.

This is a nice enough hotel. If internet speed is important to you or your work, then this hotel has the same glaring downside as other Hampton's that I have stayed at. The "complimentary Wi-Fi" is extremely slow as it is throttled to around 1 Mbps. If you want a decent connection, you'll have to pay extra for their so called "high speed" internet, which while faster that the "complimentary" option, is still far slower than what most of us can get from our phones at around 2-2.5 Mbps. I've had much better experiences with connections at Holiday Inn hotels, which I've found to be both extremely fast, and included in the price of the room.

Beautiful, spacious rooms, (lobby was under renovation but large conference room open for breakfast), ample parking for my 26foot Penske truck, and friendly staff. Would be happy to stay again.
