I was going to be asked to move on account of the smell of the room, but it occurred to me that every floor I'd been on smelled like a different rotten food and that it'd be a waste of energy. People (including staff) are loud and slam doors regardless of the time. I don't expect too much from extended stays but basic hygiene and cleanliness are a must. And roaches. Oh the roaches. I'd be terrified every night I'd step on one. I was also concerned for my dog's health. Disgusting. I have absolutely no idea why anyone is leaving positive reviews. I highly suspect the positive reviews come from either paid reviewers or employees themselves attempting damage control. Or perhaps you're just blind with no sense of smell or situational awareness. Truly the Skid Row of Louisiana.

Absolutely terrible. Not clean, and not a friendly crowd. The elevator was full of marijuana smoke at 6 am in the morning. No housekeeping and carpets are moldy. Would not recommend this place!

Rooms were decent for the price. Front desk employees were very helpful. Never really had a problem during our week-long stay. I'd definitely recommend them. Just remember that it's not the Hilton, so don't expect that and you'll surely enjoy your stay.

I stay at Extended Stays for work in other parts of the country. The state of this hotel is pretty sad compared to the others I'm used to. The rooms were in disrepair and were dirty — namely the shower. Breakfast was literally nothing more than packaged muffins and granola bars that were almost gone by 8am. I definitely won't stay here again and I'll likely stay away from Extended Stays that I'm not familiar with in the future.

Location is key reason to stay here. This is a working person hotel not for vacationing or relaxation. Inexpensive for people that must remain on a location for their job. The rooms have kitchenettes so the building always has funny smells. This includes the rooms. Staff has always been good to me and I never had any issues with safety.

Somehow, our reservation got changed to a day earlier than what I reserved. We got to the elevator, and we’re hit by a strong smell of pot. This should have been my sign to go somewhere else, but I didn’t get the hint. As we crossed the second floor towards the 3rd on the pot ridden elevator, there was a loud screeching noise. This happened every time we used the elevator. The bathroom door wouldn’t fully close since the bathroom door was not properly hinged (therefore it also would not lock). The towels had stains on them, the toilet would only flush when it wanted to. The fridge made noises every few minutes, and the neighbors shower sounded just as loud as our own. We could literally hear every person who simply opened their door anywhere down our hallway. We were on the third floor, and could easily hear people talking (not yelling) outside on the ground floor. I took as many pictures as I could, but can’t figure out how to upload them.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in period. No hot water, the hotel is filthy, it wrecks of weed. This hotel is literally a crack house. If you enjoy cruel and unusual punishment stay at this hotel.

Not bad just don't pay for Internet up grade. It is junk. Not worth it at all. Can even pull a page with not pictures let alone watch a video. Don't west your money.

No stars … dont waste your time like I did… I stood in the messy front lobby for almost 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk to help. The hallway reeked of marijuana. My room was supposedly non smoking as soon as I opened the door it smelled like a pack of cigarettes had just been smoked. I immediately turned around and asked for a REFUND… This hotel is disgusting!

Got there and our keys to the room didn't work at all. The worker came up multiple times to reset the key even tried changing the keys. Then called Monday morning called the front desk spoke to a different person she wasn't very helpful at all like she didn't want to do her job. Told me every time we leave and come back we have to stop by the front desk to get them to come open the door for us. This is very poor customer service I will not b coming her again.

It has nice rooms for reasonable prices. They have great service.

Room was clean… but air woundnt get cold as we set it, bed was old, hard… not enough pillows. And they was very thin… we came in late, 930p, staff was polite,,,,,, nite woman for 10p was DRUNK when she got there, plus was 30 mint. Late (1030) (evening staff was comolaining about it was always)

Just a place to lay your head if that’s what you’re looking for. The rooms smell like smoke and rotten food. The floors are stained and disgusting. The Wi-Fi connection is terrible and they tried to charge me for having two users in one room on their Wi-Fi when I was told it was free no matter how many users. To top it off, the parking lot is EXTREMELY sketchy at night. Multiple people circling around in their cars for hours and people pacing around the building as if waiting for some sort of exchange. Definitely did not feel safe! They also advertise “free grab and go breakfast” and we were told this morning “our corporate office took that away and there is only coffee”. Seriously!? For the rate we have paid this place is not worth more than $50 a night if that!

A place to sleep. Needs a bit of fixing up. Hard beds. I slept and ate. People seem nice.

Furniture was in poor condition. Not cleaned well. Most of the lights didn't work. Front desk did not follow through on promise about help with Wi-Fi. Was quiet, but never again.

Stayed here just one night passing through, so not an "extended" stay, but regardless it was really nice. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, and a Kitchenette. (Full size fridge/freezer and stove). Clean rooms, friendly service. There is an izzos illegal burrito right in front you can walk to for a quick bite.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I made a reservation with the chain and arrived late (around 1 am) I was not told that the lobby would close at 11 pm and even though there are some sort of boxes for keys at the entrance for late arrivals there was nothing for us or other guests that were also waiting. We called the hotel using the hotel phone and the main reservation number, finally someone answered and we were assured that some one would help us very soon. We waited more than 2 hours and nothing… While waiting for the manager we saw several drunk individuals going to the property, the smell of the lobby was very bad and the lobby/entrance area had beer cans, felt very unsafe. We ended up going to another hotel in the area which cost us more money and so far no one from the hotel or the chain has called us to even apologize. Do not go to this hotel is a dump! I will never consider even going to another Extended Stay due to this experience.

This is a great place to stay if you are needing a temporary home. They have been nothing but NICE to me since I began using this hotel as my place of choice when off from work. Quiet. Mostly construction workers and the like staying here. So it stays quiet.

The staff was nice and friendly service the rooms was clean but kept seeing small roaches in the bathroom they came and sprayed my room but I still saw one or two they could upgrade on the breakfast not enough to go around stayed there a week ago.

Cheap, clean and very nice staff.

Housekeeper was excellent quenetta Jackson needs a raise but the hotel it self needs improvement.

Absolutely filthy! Management? There isn't one at all. Absolute neglect and free for all. Front door is open to anyone to come in as they please; worse smell from the rooms and promises of cleaning were never fulfilled. Stayed for 3 nights and 2 of those nights spent elsewhere since I couldn't sleep due to the party next door. Wouldn't stay here if they paid me!

Do not stay here! valuables were stolen from my room. And staff seems like they were in on it because they all say diff things and caught them in a lie! no good! dirty, loud people yelling. Music playing loud at night. Seems like front desk will give just anybody a key. I've seen a couple people claim to leave their key in room and front desk just made copies of key without checking id. Isn't that a security concern? this place is disgusting!

Although there were numerous signs posted to inform guests that there was no smoking, the hallways, elevator, and of course, my room smelled like stale smoke. It made me think of an old casino that decided to ban smoking after 50yrs of allowing smoking. I used the fan during my stay, and it smelled like it was blowing cigarette smoke into the room. There were cigarette burns on the sheet, and rings on the table from the previous guest's drinks. I wished I had known that the room would have an overpowering smoke smell so that I could take my business elsewhere.

We did have a very awful experience but the manager is trying to make it right. Will give it another try and see what happens. Can't fault someone who wants to make change and offers you an option. Our second stay was wonderful, very nice people and everything went well. I just have to say I am floored at how many people are lacking in manners now a days.

No coffee in room. Room had a strong cherry smell.

I wasn't too happy with the property. The rooms were disgusting, the cleanliness just wasn't up to standards. The price per week was far too high for the low quality. I had an issue with one of the front desk employees, however I understand that standards are much lower in this state and not all management is up to par here. I will never stay here again.

Stay here reg. Dont have any problems. Yes you only receive housekeeping when you stay 7 or more days. Yes you do have to request dishes (due to sanitary reasons) they are not kept in the rooms at any extended stay property any longer. When you need clean towels or sheet simply bring them to the front office and they switch them out. They tell you that while checking in. As for the staff I havent had any problems with them. Amazing staff! They are all very nice. Breakfast is grab n go normally have coffee oatmeal fresh fruit (Apple's and Orange's) granola bars and muffins. Just like any extended stay property.

We were checked in for maybe 3 hours tops. The staff put air fresheners in the air conditioners of our room to make it smell "clean". Meanwhile, there were ants on the nightstand and the aforementioned air conditioner was broken. So yeah … not ideal.

Very dirty and very bad internet connection even I paid for internet charge. I'll never stay again.

So dirty, no service, stayed over two weeks (company put me there), and not once was my room cleaned, even after requesting more than once. Smelt bad, but at least cleaner than the one in Lafayette.

Zero customer service, bad management, DIRTY.

Very nice service. The room is at excellent condition, and its price is very fair compare to others.

I couldn't even make a reservation. Called three times and same person took my name and number and said she was busy and would call me back in 15 minutes. She never called back! Terrible! I was going to book 8 rooms but another hotel got my business.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed. The entire hallway smelled like Mexican food, the carpet was stained, my wife found what looked like a blood stain on her bedspread, and the whole interior had a run down appearance. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful enough but told us they were out of towels, I had to dry off with a hand towel until I got a chance to go downstairs and get a towel and tp myself. It is a good location and it looks nice from the outside but I would never stay here again. I would recommend only if saving money is your primary concern and don't mind staying in a very dirty place.

I am pleased with the convenience and the positive attitude that I receive at this hotel. I paid the $4.99 one time wireless charge. (At the last place I stayed, I had to go to a library and pay $1.00 per hour. ) I was able to pick up clean towels daily and use a vacuum if I needed. I have allergies to smoke but got a very good non smoking room. The price that I paid for this extended stay, saved me $40-60 per night compared to an inexpensive hotel just a block away. We fixed one or two meals per day in our room, had lots of space, and a good bed. If there was one thing that I could fix, I wish that the building had more sound insulation in the walls and ceilings.
