Absolutely the best hilton I've ever stayed at. Great room, very clean, awesome customer service, incredibly comfortable bed and safe location. Would definitely stay here every time I'm in baton rouge. Only downfall is there is a heavy set girl that works the front desk at night, she's rude and snotty. Also made a joke about my fiance and myself as we were walking g away. Very tasteless. Good thing the young lady and young man who were at the front desk in the morning more then made up for her.

I was at this hotel recently and had the greatest customer service from the am waitress Ms. Jessica. She was great and knows the true definition of customer service. This is the type of waitress that deserves a real tip. Thank you for my great experience.

Great hotel! I always stay here when traveling to area for work. The restaurant has amazing food as well. They just need to hire another server as there is only one who does the restaurant and room service.

Newly renovated. Very modern and clean. Morning waitresses at breakfast were very friendly. Had nothing but great service here. Would definitely stay here again.

I frequently stay at DoubleTree when we travel and I prefer them over other similar hotels. The suite was really nice and clean, plenty of room for my two kids and I. However, our room was lacking certain amenities. There were no water bottles in our room, usually there are two, there was only decaf coffee (apparently they were out of regular coffee) there was an iron but no ironing board. Only 1 of the 2 TV's in our room was working, and we didn't get our warm cookies when we checked in. I had to go back down stairs to get them.

Really enjoyed our stay! The place was recently renovated so rooms had new furniture and it smelled great and everything worked good. The rooms are spacious, great layout & lighting… very modern. Location is good… the girl at the front desk could've been more friendly, but overall WE LOVED IT!

Great hotel, excellent service, not a bad location. DO NOT use the in-app check-in or digital keys — they don't unlock the outside doors, just your room and the gym.

Gold honors member. Great room, but no hot water. I was told an engineer would work on that, seems like it might happen quite frequently here.

Looks are deceiving. The room looked updated but I quickly found that there was no USB ports, no pay per view options (I didn't even realize that was still possible). I can say the front desk staff was pleasant and the room was clean but it lacks amenities.

I recommend this hotel to anyone! Rooms were clean… loved that the room had a additional TV with a sofa.

This was by far the worst service I've ever had at a doubletree hotel! When we first arrived there was no warm welcome the attendants had a full conversation about another customers room issues then addressed the fact I was standing there. There were no cookies offered and that's what they are mostly known for! When we got to the room it appeared to be really nice, however the toilet had pee on it as if it were never cleaned (I normally clean the toilet again anyways but I don't want to see pee on it before I have to clean it again myself), the water was not piping hot but rather luke warm and the tub was clogged so it was almost as if you were taking a shower and a bath! After paying $200 for a room for a 8-10hr stay I expected more to say the least!

Clean and comfortable. Only stayed here due to the casino being full. Was a good choice it is 15min from L'aubergue. Staff was curtious. Will stay again. Double Tree you are the only Hilton property we have stayed with that does not have coffee available to patrons after 11am. Especially when it is 51°f outside.

Historic hotel in wonderful condition that is staffed with friendly faces. Plenty of restaurants and bars within just a few blocks, several of which have live music on the weekend. Lots of foot traffic in the area, and the area was patrolled constantly. Parking choices were limited, with most of the surface lots costing at least $15 for overnight. Recommend just paying the hotel the $22 for overnight valet so you don't have to worry about it. The hotel does offer daytime-only valet parking for$12.

Very friendly staff, convenient location, and the rooms are updated. We had a king bed with a separate office/sitting area, two flat screen TVs, and a spacious bathroom.

Rooms are spacious, but the Tv's are so small. My eyes wanna come out of their socket, because I'm straining and squinting to see from the bed. Also I'm Asian, its worse for my itty bitty eyes. Everything seems clean. We're Honors card holders, we usually get free breakfast which isn't free here and free water or snacks upon checking in, we didn't get any of that. We had to go downstairs and asked for it later. Indoor pool is small, Jacuzzi is a good size. Gym is so dimmed, looks depressing. I asked for another set of towels to be delivered to my room, took them an hour. I waited for so long, I gave up and jumped in the shower. I kid you not, they were determined to get my towels to me. Knocked every 2 minutes, about 6 times, 4 hard knocks each time. I couldn't get to It! Finally they left it at my front door. Oh boy, now comes the breakfast buffet ($13, free for HHonors) let me say, thank God I didn't have to pay for it, or I would've busted a Gordon Ramsey move. It's worse than the free buffets at motels. Save your money! My fruit had mold on it, bread felt like day old bread. Yogurt and condiments are almost non existent. Never had chewy overcooked, dry eggs before. I asked if there's cheese at least, nope no cheese. My options for meat was bacon that looks like it's made out of plastic or shribbled up sausage. A sad sad sight to have witness. The fire alarm also went off, I stayed on the 4th floor.

Rooms were nice and spacious, breakfast was good, service was OK. Someone dragged some dirt from outside into one of the elevators, or they dropped some food, and it was still not cleaned by the time I checked out a few hours later.

Comfortable rooms. Nice size and wok-appointed. Complimentary breakfast is nice.

One of the best values for Hilton in the city. Multiple stays on business. Never a bad experience. It's clean, centrally located within BR and has plenty of restaurants surrounding. There is a restaurant and bar onsite as well. Downtown Hilton on weekends is comparable for value (cost vs. Experience), IMO.

New hotel — nice and clean and the service is excellent. I have to say the breakfast was quite good as well.

Decent room but dated. Air conditioning is noisy and hard to get to maintain a consistent temperature making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Bed is comfortable and the restaurant serves a nice breakfast.

It's a doubletree with standard doubletree accommodations. I have stayed her numerous times, and each stay is different. I have been thoroughly pleased, and then also not so pleased. Overall I would am satisfied, but a few areas for improvement would be faster breakfast service (which has gotten better). Also more consistent toiletry stocking in the rooms. I have been surprised with a goody bag, and disappointed with a lack of several standard items.

AWESOME staff in every area. Made me feel at home. The chef cooks grits fit for a king/queen. The chef came out per my request and shared some cooking secrets with me. Front desk clerk upon check in was sweet as pie. Room was clean and comfortable! Will definitely come back again.

Very easy location to find, but did not stay at the hotel. Only attended a bridal event in the hotel, but the service and care provided by the present employees was very professional and courteous.

Hotel staff were extremely polite and professional. The cost of the room was very reasonable, especially considering the quality and available amenities. There was an exercise room, guest laundry and vending area all within a short distance of my room. The hotel lounge and bar were outstanding. The bar seems like a quiet place for adults to socialize, and there was a surprising number of people there on a Monday night. I could not speak to the availability of adult beverages, as I did not attend the bar, but it looked like an extensive selection. My room itself was very clean and cozy. It was a suite of a sort, with a partial wall separating the office desk and TV room from the bedroom; however the bed seemed almost too large for the space. That's a petty criticism, and likely the only one that I have. If I were to make a recommendation to the hotel, I would advise them to update the carpet. My recommendation to anyone thinking about booking a room, go for it. You won't regret staying here. I really like the location, as it is at the end of a frontage road, so getting in and out was a breeze. Definitely my new place when staying in the area.

The hotel facilities are nice, but they have a personnel issue. Very inconsistent experience. The room cleaning service failed to keep shampoo or new coffee cups stocked in my room (even after bringing it up to a manager). Some staff members won't acknowledge your presence or seem annoyed to be there, while others are very cordial. Very nice hotel, but needs a staff eval.

I stayed for one night the room was clean the television didnt show a good picture. I was not greated as a hiltons honors team member at all. I didnt complain until I recieved a bill that charged me with a smoking fee when I did not smoke! when I called to dispute the transaction the guest services agent was very rude and not helpful. He threatned to call police if I came on the property to speak with a manager which was uncalled for especially when I am an employee of hilton myself! I am very dissapointed in doubletree and will be emailing the gm!

The concierge and staff were very helpful with check-in and answered every question I had. They were mindful and welcoming of my service dog. All in all, a great hotel.

Great room quality but it's kinda hard to get into the pool door other than that it's a great place.

Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Very quiet at night and restaurant on premises is very convenient. Warm cookie upon arrival always makes travel a bit easier.

Very new, modern hotel with an extremely cool room layout. Has all the amenities for business travelers. They have done a great job at minimizing noise from the interstate.

This was by far one of the best stays I have had in a LONG time. Comfortable and clean rooms. Bed was amazing! Great pillows and mattress. I was here for over a week and I can attest to the fact that the hotel staff — from the front desk to the restaurant staff to housekeeping were all AWESOME! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Prompt, friendly service. Located right of the highway, and around many food establishments. Ruins are clean and spacious.

Had a bad experience with the room service staff, however, the front desk and hotel manager promptly took care of me and made everything better!

I love this hotel normally but when they have 20 kids in the indoor pool jumping and screaming like banchies in a 5 food indoor pool and the lady working in the front has no worry about it. I will not be back unbelievable.

Rooms were clean, fresh and decor hip. Love the separation of these rooms! Good nights sleep on a comfortable bed. We only stayed overnight for our flight. Lucky to find this charm after having reservations at another hotel (at the same rate) with not so great conditions. Thank you Double Tree for not disappointing us!

I'm a hilton hhonors member and have enjoyed my stay till now. I travel down to the first floor to find an exit to smoke. Once I'm outside to ensure that I do not smother those with my smoke I find three persons out there standing beside a running car discussing their dislike for certain family members is a not so tasteful way. Upon completion of my wanted break I have to slalom past the rag tag duo leaving the bar which they describe their appreciation for their friend working the bar. Not one more time will I stay at this particular double tree. Might I add the entire time the hire gun (security guard) was stationary behind the counter of the hotel staff. My hat is off to whom ever is making the money from this horrid sight and I hope that karma finds you and you family at YOUR NEXT DESTINATION.

Great stay. Nice rooms, great staff. Rooms were large, clean and quiet. Comfortable furnishings and bed. The bar and restaurant food was really good. Nicest staff of the hotels I have stayed in.

I was extremely pleased with the hotel's features and amenities. The representatives at the front desk were courteous and pleasant at check-in/check-out. The process was fast, and I even received the delicious, warm cookie that I was promised. The room was clean and modern, and I was quite surprised at the quality of the complimentary toiletry items in the room. I'm SOLD on the Hilton brand. I've already planned my next vacation stay at the Hilton in Nassau, Bahamas. I hope the service there meets or exceeds my expectations.

Very comfortable room with a pillow-top bed and separate sitting area — — like a suite, but for the price of a regular room! Newly renovated, and lovely inside. A much, much nicer experience than I was expecting, given the reasonable price. Nice lounge area in the lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows. Hotel bar was overpriced, but honestly — that's the only bad thing about this place.
