Would normally rate this hotel a 5, BUT had an experience with a "mediocryte" tonight. Called the hotel to let them know we forgot something in the room and asked if he could check for us. We were told that he was the only one working and we'd have to call back the next day. We asked if we could speak to housekeeping or a manager. He replied "i said i'm the only one working". Kind of hard to believe a Marriott would have ONE person working the entire hotel at any time, but who knows. On the positive side, I've always loved staying here. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, nice amenities, very comfortable relaxed location. Too bad we had this negative experience tonight. It's always been awesome before this, and I travel through here for work — frequently! Didn't get the guys name, but it was on Wednesday night 7/18/18 around 10:30 PM when we called. Since there was only one person working in the hotel, shouldn't be too difficult to figure out who was working the desk / answering the phones ;-)

The room was clean and had a balcony, which was nice. There was a mini store in the lobby with all the essentials. The room had a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Actually 3.5 rating in my book. It was fairly nice hotel and convenient location. Stayed 2 days. The AC could be improved or at least bed location to where AC blew. The actual ease of driving into the hotel location is complicated since it's behind the outback and only entrance is to drive through the outback parking lot to get to the hotel. I would still stay at this hotel.

Very interesting and great models. The ship was well worth the visit.

Noisy room and out door courtyard was a little unkept. Other than that the room was nice and reception was well kept. Staff was helpful.

Everything else was great. The Bistro Cafe was less desirable. No one seemed to k ow how to make our coffee drinks the the side fruit salad was spoiled. You could tell when the fruit came out it was not fresh it had a shiny look to it which is why it was slimy.

Nice hotel and very friendly staff. My daughter accidentally left her key in the room and the housekeeper in the next room over let her in her room. She was glad to not have to go all the way to the front desk!

Room & Staff were great as was the location being close to the Melting Pot and The Movie Tavern.

Decent hotel, clean rooms and bathrooms. I did not like the amenities downstairs or the breakfast selection, but the rooms do have balconies, which is fun. The paint job is above average, really great color combinations. The beds were comfortable.

A two star hotel at best. Dirty rooms. Bed had a ton of hair in the sheets. Thin walls and next to the train tracks. Choo Choo.

I booked a meeting room online but the website information didn't reach the event coordinator and I had to slowly prompt for questions that they should be asking and that I already answered online. I was unable to check the status of the booking at any time. The event coordinator left during the time I booked and the time I had my event. A new coordinator was hired and assigned. I had to reconfirm all event details with the new coordinator for some reason. I was constantly asked questions until the day before the event even though we emailed quite a bit and had a phone conversation that included all these details.

Room was a good size and had a couch and desk and minifridge. Our room had a balconey overlooking the pool, and as such was noisy from that area. The hotel must be aware of this as they provided ear plugs and recommended a white noise app. We were very comfortable and everything was clean.

It's a regular Courtyard by Marriott. So, the usual mini restaurant with certain choices for every meal, laundry facilities, etc. Are available. The reason for my five stars: cleanliness, an Outback steakhouse right at the doorsteps, and right off I-10 without the traffic noise.

Touch old feeling. Room has a smell to it. Strange that building entrances have no making to indicate that this is the Marriott. Nice courtyard.

Wished we had a microwave and freezer in the fridge. Place is clean and when we had to come back to our room for something, the gal was cleaning our room and asked to see if our key matched our room. Good girl! Thank you for making sure our things are secured.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast not that great and hallways a lil dirty.

The maintenance man Ronnie McKenzie is awesome no better person at the hotel he helped me with my things to my room front desk is ok and tad from the kitchen is awesome if they leave the hotel I believe my stays there will end they really make this hotel a wonderful place.

I'm a platinum marriott member. These rooms are dated compared to other courtyards. That being said the room was clean. The location is great if your going to need to be on campus, which we were. There are food options that are walkable but they're mostly chains. The pool is nice which we hung out by. Gym is big as well, better than most hotel gyms.

Room is clean and quiet. Exercise room has nice, well maintained equipment. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel. It is nice and the people are friendly, it if there a problem like say your a/c begins blowing heat in the middle of the night and ruins your rest. If that happens then they will gladly comp you a breakfast. The room is high for this low level of service and accountability. No thanks.

The customer service was amazing. Check in was smooth and the room was amazing. I had a balcony and a view of the pool. The people helped out so much. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Easy access to highway 10 and close to LSU. Place was decent and so was the price. Didn't use any of the amenities or spend much time in the room, so it's kind of hard to write a review.

Beautiful place, conference room was kind of small.

I have stayed at this Courtyard a number if times. I am always treated well.

Easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Baton Rouge is hands-down the worst city in the United States. I'd rather go to the dentist. This hotel will not hesitate to book you out of reservations you made months ago, happened to me. The only thing sadder than Baton Rouge's customer service is their corrupt law enforcement. The Baton Rouge police will do anything to put you in jail, including sprinkling crack on you. This it literally proved in their police records which Google will not let link you to (worth the search). BR is easily the worst place in America, I'd rather kill myself than ever come back to this God-forsaken hell hole.

We stayed her for during a trip to Blue Bayou Water Park. The tweens still enjoyed the indoor pool even after coming in from being at a water part all day. The hot tub was wonderful, the staff were all friendly. The rooms were large with a bedroom closed off completely from the seating area where the tweens were. There was a TV in the bedroom and the sitting area. Everything seemed reasonably clean and nice. I enjoyed the courtyard immensely. I could sit outside the indoor pool and still keep an eye on the tweens while reading, it rained during our stay and portions of the courtyard were very cozy during the rain. If I go back to the water park I will stay here again. It was also in a very good area to access the mall. The rooms were quiet and well cooled. If you've been in Louisiana in the summer, particularly after being outside for hours in the heat, there is nothing better than a cold room.
