This place is the worst from the hotel to the casino. When was the last time this place was clean on the outside. Had the worst experience at casino, just found out as much money I spend the I have no free play until January what happened to Dec. Want be going back. Slots were dead place was empty still no body winning workers had the worst attitude when ask a question.

The STAFF is awesome, friendly, helpful. The room & room service are impeccable. Easy access & walking distance to downtown. Shuttle service to/from LSU STADIUM top notch.

Disgusting. Paid $379/night because everything was booked. Never again. Bathroom shower had hair on the walls. Carpet in the halls was tacked together. I could have taken a dozen more pictures. Our hope is they are renovating and we were in the worst part, but I didn’t see construction going on.

The casino has CSM's with the nasty attitudes and wonder why business is slow. They catch attitudes with people that spend money. Smh.

My husband and I stayed here last night. The bed was as hard as a rock. The casino smelled like mildewed carpet. We couldn’t even really stay in there to gamble, the smell was so strong. Then we went to get our car from valet at 7 this morning. They said “oh you’ll have to go get it yourself, they don’t get here til 8”. Ummm okay, no one told us that when we checked in and valet parked last night. So the check in lady points at a sign… in the closet like I was supposed to see that last night when I valet parked at 9pm. I asked to see a manager and was told “oh they’re not going to be in until about 8:30”. So… my husband has to go find our car in valet and get it himself. The whole reason we stayed here was because I had an exam to take at LSU AT 8 this morning. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel, let alone a casino hotel. Just horrible! I wish I would have saved my $135 and just took the time to drive in from Lake Charles this morning for my test.

My grandma turned 85 and we held her birthday party in the Livingston Ballroom. We had a great time, my only complaint is it got too hot from all the dancing. We didnt really feel any AC in the room so I recommend fans or tell them to crank it. The food was spot on and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Fun place. Didn't get to try the food. Would love to be there for an event. I loved walking along the Mississippi river at night. Great views. Lovely staff. I really enjoyed my time here. Would go back. Will tell friends. Only thing that could be a little better is parking. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't enjoyable.

Wall outlets in the bathroom didnt work. Hotel workers are lazy and unwelcoming. Reservations department will never ever! EVER! answer the phone. Just gave up after an hour on hold. The entire place smells terrible the pool had so much chlorine it would burn my nose when I walked by it. The pool area smelt like an old dumpster. And the interior smells of a nasty cheap cleaner that has no fragrance almost like burnt plastic… AND NO ONE WILL TELL YOU ABOUT THE RESORT FEE! MY FRIENDS, FAMILY, OR I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

Lovely place to rest and reset. Staff treated me like family and were beyond amazing. Food at 102 was delicious (thanks glo! ). Casino was fun as well. It's an older hotel but location is great. Was able to ride the trolley around and site see. Wig at the front desk could have been a little more polite but overall excellent service.

This hotel had the most unfriendly, rude & unwelcoming staff I’ve ever witnessed. It appears that all the girls that worked the front desk absolutely hate their jobs. I have no idea why they’re working in hospitality. None of them know what that is. This by far is The WORST hotel I’ve stayed in. Absolutely terrible. Everyone at our family reunion complained about the poor customer service. We stayed 3 nights & our bed only was made by housekeeping one time, our trash was not dumped & towels weren’t replaced. The corporate office needs to hire new staff because the current front desk employees are ruining the brand. Do not waste your money, do NOT stay at this hotel. You will be disappointed. If I could give this hotel a zero, I would.

Many of the floor staff, the slot techs and the servers are very good. Certain security staff are great too. But a good majority of the younger security staff are basically worthless. Most of the younger servers would rather talk with the younger security staff than do their job. Much of the clientele are rude and obnoxious as well. The food is average at best and food service is terrible. The parking lot stinks of urine and illegal parking is the norm. It appears that the Belle is money hungry and will tolerate any manner of behavior, so long as they can get into your wallet. It's sad to see how far this place has declined in the past 5 years. Don't go out of your way to visit this place. Regarding the alleged Belle response — This review isn't a summary of my "last" experience, but a summary of the overall decline of a once favored gaming spot in Baton Rouge. The regression of quality became obvious about 2-3 years ago and your facility has gone steadily and swiftly downhill ever since. Your "upgrades" are quite a mystery, as little if anything has changed since the conversion of the old Butler's Pantry quick-bite shop to the new, larger, but inferior quality food served in the new snack shop. The parking issues, both the illegal yet tolerated car parking and the overall evening safety of the parking garage are simply not tolerable. Granted, you've managed to eliminate most of the street-people from the casino floor and I'll give you your props for that improvement.

Had breakfast. Order was wrong. I specifically asked for something to be omitted from my omelet, but it looked like they put extra. $3 for grits, $1 extra for cheese. Grits were in a small bowl with a slice of cheese on top. Food wasn't brought out in a presentable, appealing way.

How bad is this place? Let me count the ways… I paid for a king room and when I checked in they said they were out. They said since I reserved my room through Expedia they could not refund me the difference. I understand that but they didn't even try to make it up with a complimentary drink or anything for that matter. The rooms were stinky and nasty to the touch. Looked like the shower walls had never been cleaned. The grout had mold and mildew. The casino wasn't much better either. Very dirty and not a single employee bothered to say hello, welcome, can we help you or even good bye. You're better off at a motel 6. At least they'll leave the light on for ya!

I stayed at The Belle of BR in March because I needed to take care of personal business in New Orleans, originally during a weekend that was sold out because of a medical convention. I LOVED IT! The staff couldn't have been nicer from the bellmen, front desk, gift area & security personnel. I came back late in the evenings and went to the casino area to get a ready-to-order muffaletta which was totally awesome. It may not be the newest hotel in BR, but it was clean and just what I needed to have available to stay in. I will definitely book reservations again! Even if I just to to New Orleans for play, the 1 hour drive was worth it. And Baton Rouge is a very cool place!

It was awesome. The wedding ceremony was great. The food, music and the people was outstanding. I enjoyed my self.

I stayed 4 individual nights here at the belle, I am from Dallas TX. Came to Louisiana in a job. The first night wasn't bad at all, had a good time with my coworker and all way well. On the other hand, the following 3days I stayed in 3 different rooms, all of which are on 9th floor within these room 902-917. Room 902 was the worst out of them all.! As soon as 8pm came around, roaches were crawling everywhere! Not to mention NO refrigerator, and no towels. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I am not happy with my stay here. Do not stay on the 9th floor.

Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. No frills stay but wasn't expected. Room was slightly dirtier than what you expect but overall not too bad. Room was no smoking but still smelled like someone had smoked there.

The Sunday Brunch leaves much to be desired. Limited pastries and no coffee cups. Chairs being stacked while dinning. The saving grace was. The omlette station. That was great and fast.

Straight ghetto. They start giving gifts @ 2:00 pm, no gifts by 4:00pm and the gifts are being giving away until 8:00pm. The floors on the casino floor are sticky and black. I'm usually there for 2 or 3 hours before even seeing a waitress. You can tell by your visit the next morning to your bathroom, the grease used to fry food is not changed often enough. The elevators are always nasty and has strong smells. Then to top it off, you pretty much never win. This place needs some MAJOR changes. As of yesterday, they lost me as a customer!

We stayed here for one night and it was horrible! First, the lady checking us in was RUDE! She hardly spoke and when asked where to park, she was no help. (There was no valet apparently at that time even though the valet attendant was standing behind the check in desk. ) After we finally figured out where to park, we found our room. The room was ok. Nothing to be impressed about. Disappointed that there was no refrigerator or microwave. The AC kept turning itself off and it was hard to get the room at a comfortable temperature. There are limited options for food at this hotel/casino. The buffet was very small and honestly did not look appealing. We will not stay here again.

If I could rate this hotel (if that’s what you want to call it) less I would. My stay was awful! We arrived my sheets in our room were dirty! I asked for more sheets and said I would change them myself! I went back upstairs to wash my daughters hair turned to the shower curtain and their were blood stains on it! There were roaches in our room that we killed on and off all night! I slept a total of 2 hours and got up checked out and canceled my next night’s stay. They had already charged my card for the full amount. So they reversed that charge and charged my room for one night which had my funds on hold the remainder of the weekend. My funds still are not back in my account! I will NEVER stay here again! EVER!

A resurrection of an old railroad station. It is now a hotel and casino. Not much of a casino and sought of rundown. Only pay parking at hotel. Had to change rooms because someone had been smoking in the first room. The Concierge Lounge on 10th floor had no amenities. Had to move furniture to find an electric plug for charging my phone and tablet. No second visit for me.

This place has declined in recent years. We stay here once a year for the past few years. Rooms used to be cleaner. Breakfast used to be included (or last year discounted). Now it operates almost like a cheap motel. Today's room was not what we reserved even though staff tried to make us comfortable. Cleanliness is an issue. There were hairs on the bed and stained pillow cases and a dab of shaving cream or something in the bathroom and a dirty chair. In the drawer of the nightstand was a while bunch of garbage from the precious guest. That being said, the location cannot be beat.

Okay today was my husband's birthday and he loves to go to Bass Pro in Denham Springs went there very nice. Then we decided we wanted to go to the Bella Casino Baton Rouge well we were really disappointed! Machines were tight didn't win anything was there a total of 40 minutes. Nothing like where we usually go in Amelia. The Amelia Belle Casino I guess it pays off as much as any other casino. Wouldn't hurt to loosen the slots up a little more! … I'll keep going to Amelia Belle it's a lot nicer! At the end of the day we enjoyed spending the time together. Love you baby, Happy Birthday!

Rooms were good, check in was good. The only negative I have to say is there is not good place to eat in the hotel or casino. The two places they have there leave much to be desired, so we had to walk several blocks to get some decent food.

Casino has come a little over the years.

I just spent two nights at the bell of Baton Rouge Hotel. Initial observation was that although the hotel appears to be a bit old and worn it was clean and personnel were efficient and friendly. As we went to our room the age of the hotel and lack of card showed more and more. The room was clean and fairly comfortable. The first night I found myself looking for a vending machine because there were no restaurants or room service available. I was finally directed to the 1st floor to a vending machine. The next morning I found myself waiting for a considerable amount of Tim for a coffee cup at the front desk because the desk personnel were viewing something on one of their phones. Another employee had to say something to get them to wait on me. That night when we returned to our room they had not cleaned it. My wife called and asked if we could have some clean yowels. Over two hours later I had to call again and ask for clean towels. The next morning (Sunday). There was no place to get breakfast until after 10 am. We checked out and found a place to eat. Also the casino is about a 3/4 mile walk from the hotel with no active means of transportation between the two. So if you have an issue with walking long distances and walking down stairs don go to the Belle. This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. I will never go again and will advise all of my friends to steer clear. Oh also I have multiple Billings on my debit card from them.

A Hotel with all the amenities to spend nice days with partner or friends and have fun in the casino.

Went for a short amount of time to check out the casino. Large variety of slots and video poker. Saw some craps and blackjack tables being played. Overall clean place with nice atmosphere. 4 star because the fee from withdrawing money from the ATM is 5 dollars and prevented me from playing any.

Not a very good experience at all. It was just okay. Needs serious upgrades and customer service training. No dining for breakfast and what is served is served in a plastic dish that you pay for at a counter. And she was not nice at all. I am sure they are overworked and under paid. Also I attended a function their in the Atrium where it was freezing cold when asked could they adjust the thermostat, the answer was essentially no. I have stayed there before but it has gone down tremendously. I guess the the floods and slow economy has really hurt there business. But the owner needs to get on it.

We stayed last weekend with out a great experience. We were told ahead of time that we could check in early, but when we get there they tell us our room isn't ready. That's fine but they won't hold our bags and tell us just to come back later. When we finally check in, we find out that our TV doesn't work and the staff had no interest in helping us fix it for our short stay. One member in our party couldn't enter the casino because his ID was paper, which is still an official government ID, but they said he couldn't go in at all. Just little things that added up to make the experience a little rough.

Easy to find and located conveniently next to I-10 Bridge crossing the Mississippi river. Rooms were nice and clean. The staff was amazing and very helpful when I needed anything or just had questions about the area. Definitely a place to stay when in town visiting.

Great value. Not the Hampton heavenly bed, but not horrid. Room was spacious and clean. Staff is VERY courteous! You will not get a better bang for your buck. For the price 5 stars…

I've been here for 4 days for business. The Belle of Baton Rouge has much unrealized potential and could elevate itself to better profitability and customer experience. The Good: 1. Employees treated me right and were attentive and courteous. 2. The housekeeping staff were great, my room was clean upon arrival and they were at my door each day, even though I was in need of nothing. 3. Beds comfortable, Bathroom clean. TV remote didn't seem to have much range but I got closer to TV and it worked fine. NEEDS Improvement: Inconsistent food Service: 1. There is a cafe in main lobby and seating wasn't available at 7:30 am this morning. I was offered takeout. NOT GOOD, when you have a beautiful lobby and customers can't even pay for service! 2. Breakfast / Lunch Buffet on Sunday Am, food was good. I have not seen any food served in this area since Sunday. The hotel has marketing material showing free meals to seniors provided they meet a minimum of play (10 points). How can this be if I haven't seen the buffet open in 2 days? 3. Atrium roof leaks in few places. These are not gushers or horrible leaks. The Atrium is HUGE and pretty. Maintenance is needed to fix this. If a guest gets hurt, a legal action will cost more than fixing the leaks. ** CASINO is Worst Feature here ** 4. I'm not a gambler but visited the Casino w my wife on Saturday night for a bit. Games at the video poker bar appeared unclean, and in need of cosmetic service / refurbishment.

I loss my Debit card. Asked a employee at the Customer service desk on the 3rd floor to please call me a Security guard to report it. She then told me to look for them in green shirts. Totally ignored me knowing how upset I was. Of course she was having a conversation with a friend and didn't not want to be put out. My husband got in line at the lunch counter about 5:50 cutoff was 6 PM Was told the cutoff was him. I will not be going back to the Belle. Most of the employees are very racist when dealing with the people. Remove our name from your mailing list. Please include my husband Gerald.

The room was comfortable, although a little dated (which I prefer as I like the aged feel) and the pillows were a little stiff. The casino is a short, air conditioned walk away. The pool was clean and the fitness area was sufficient. The location is superb with lots of cool things to do in walking distance. Price for value is great.

After losing thousand of dollars at the Casino over many years, and receiving a mailer every month as an appreciation I assume, I decided to take advantage of using the free rooms at the Hotel. My very first experience was the pits. I made my reservation way in advance only to arrive there to pick my keys up and was told I had no reservation. Very dry faced, no emotions and no attempt to find out why my reservation was not showing up. I even asked the young lady to pull it up by my middle name, I do not know what she did but turned around and said I did not have reservations. I am becoming very upset by now so I asked then what are we going to do about this. She tells me about the $59.99 special per night. My reply was, no mam, I just left that amount in your casino. She then tells me to call the 800 number to see if they can help me. I am now speaking with the lady who addressed herself as the manager. My reply about the 800 number was, should you not be the one to help me with this? I am the customer and deserve credited customer service and said she was not doing it because she had a line waiting and that would take too long, the same line I had to wait in. So I decided to sit on line with 800 another 20 minutes and this customer service rep. Found it immediately, spoke with the manager and gave her the info. Needed.

Rooms, as well as common areas. On the other hand the staff is friendly.

Disappointed that there was not an evening buffet, only breakfast buffet. One of the juice machines that was on the breakfast buffet was broken and the orange juice on the other one was just like water. There are no rooms with queen beds at the hotel, only one king or two doubles. The access to the hotel from the parking garage is not close. The room we had didn't have a coffee pot. The ice machine on our floor wasn't working. The tub took forever to drain. The faucet in the bathroom sink dripped. The pool didn't open until 10:00, am and closed at 6:00pm. The fitness center sign said it was open 24hours and it was closed. The lounge on the 10th floor was closed also. The entertainment center had a live boxing match going on that night and you could hear the "noise" everywhere around. It was deafening. It was like you were there yourself. There was no going around to avoid it. You had to hear it to get to the rooms. Everything was too far apart. The walkway to get to the casino was "very" hot. There were air conditioners along the walkway, but they apparently weren't working very well. It was a long hot walk. There was a shuttle, but you still had a long walk from the hotel to the casino. The casino did not have any live entertainment or music. They didn't offer a "non smoking" floor.

Horrible rooms late checkout horrible staff. Nothing for the children to do except for the pool and that is small. It is hardly not even opened. I was waiting to go to pool at threeThen they said it was raining to hard so we waited in the hotel till it opened then three hours later it still wouldn't open and the sky was blue. The hotel stink it is very small. Is very loud. NEVER AGAIN! Stay away just go to sum truck stop for the casino. Stay in ur room if u like nice rooms. And just squirt ur hose pipe on u if u like be in water STAY AWAY! If I could give it no stars I would.

Can't beat the quality of the room for the price (during the week). Staff was friendly, free breakfast buffet, complimentary coffee in the lobby (not in the room, but oh well). Room was clean and well-kept. Complimentary bottles of water in the room, which was nice. Everything was very clean, lobby was nice with glass ceiling. Casino kind of sucked, but it wasn't our reason for staying there anyway. Would definitely recommend for a weeknight stay.

After reading all the reviews I was scared to check in this hotel. People described it terribly, so after I checked in, I went straight to check my room w/o even takong my luggage out of the car, and I found that my room is pretty good, smells nice, a/c works just fine, sheets are clean, etc. Just had a breakfast in hotel and I loved it, nice and simple buffet. On my way to check put Casino soon. 4/5 so far.

My husband and I, along with my sister and her husband attended a wedding there which took place in the Atrium. When we arrived and walked inside it was beautiful, beautiful flowers, a great setting. Then we went to our rooms and was SHOCKED. I am sure these rooms were beautiful back in the day. The paint was cracking in the bathroom, the edges around the tub was dirty, someone started painting and stopped. There wasn't a vent in the bathroom, if it was, it wasn't working and the smell in the room was awful. When we got off the elevator it smelled good, maybe they forgot to spray the rooms, I don't know. The carpet probably need a really good cleaning. Thank God I brought my own Lysol spray. The chair needed cleaning. Those rooms need to be updated badly. We decided to go the Casino, it need to be updated as well. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was delicious. It is a great place to have an event but not to spend the night. The price of the rooms are too much for the condition the rooms are in. I will never spend the night there again unless they have been updated. If the wedding would not have been there we would have gotten our money back and went somewhere else.

We stayed here only because the hotel is walking distance from the River Center. The staff is extremely rude and can careless about any issues you may have. Our room was gross. The carpet was flithy, you can tell they only spot vacuum. Both beds that someone else's body hair all over it and the sheets had huge stains everywhere. There was half smoked cigarettes all around the TV and burn marks on the non cleaned night stand. Everything had a good amount of dust on it. The air conditioner barely worked. That was most likely due to the half inch of dust and grim on the screen, and the slats on the vent where either missing or broken in half. There was also cob webs all over the room and we actually had to get rid of a few spiders ourselves. The room had an old stale smell that stuck to your clothes. Only positive thing I could say is we were able to walk to our event that we attend at the River Center. Shucks on the Levee is horrible. Once again horrible service and food isn't worth half the price you pay. If you are going to include the tip in someone's bill the service should be worth it. Then again since it is in this hotel the service at Shucks matches the service at the Belle. I also understand this part of town has its share of people on hard times but I do believe as a PAYING GUEST you should not have to duck, hide and find an alternative route around to avoid people hounding you for money, food and etc. They not only hold the 50.

While the accomodation were affordable, the hotel is older, smells and we found the customer service experience less than adequate. There were no apologies made when our friends complained during a very loud toilet change early in the morning.

Lobby atm was great! Saved the day so I cpuld park across the street! Except the 4$ fee was kind of high…

The room was so dusty… mold in shower area… bloodstains on sheets… and housekeeping had the nerve to tell me she didn't work yesterday 1/3/2016… but if I could rate the front desk ladies on the am shift of 1/4/2016… I would give them 5 stars… I just asked 4 a swiffer and colorox wipes… The young lady said no way and gave us a nicer room no charge… front desk saved my family from a meltdown… but an apology and some form of comp would b nice from higher up…

The hotel is great. Perfect location downtown, easy to access, accommodating staff. Clean, comfy bed. The casino, however, is not as well managed. Drink service was poor and staff seemed uninterested in fixing the few issues we had. This was my first, and likely last, time to the Belle casino.

I like going to the Belle because it seems I win better there than any other casino in Baton Rouge but the place is very unclean. The elivators in the parking garage always smells of urine. The buffet needs very much improvement not at all the quality of a casino buffet I an used to.

The employees are terrible. The rooms are like something you would find in a third world country. They have ghetto people who like to hang around the lobby forever. It's a very low-level type of hotel. The rooms are cheap, so that attracts the wrong type of crowd. The casino customers are very ghetto and low level. It's not like a high-end place you would find in Las Vegas. The employees are almost all black. They're rude too. They need more diversity in their hiring. Even the security guards are totally unprofessional here. The building is old and poorly maintained. I didn't like the quality of food either.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. I was on the 5th floor. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and polite very helpful they would go all out to meet your needs and to make your stay wonderful. The food is great and the staff is wonderful I giv.

Went a few weekends ago. Room was great; Casino proximity awesome. Free concert in the Atrium. Breakfast buffet was a great variety. Thinking of a return trip.

Our family was passing through BR on the way to TX. We stayed at the Belle and had a great time. The kids were impressed with the atrium and we were impressed with the impeccable customer service from everyone. It is right on the levee, so the sunset walk is beautiful. We ate at Shuck's and the food was delicious and plentiful. We ended up staying again on our way back home.

The lobby is beautiful! The view from the tenth story was nice as well. BUT, They did not have one extra blanket for our room. The makeup mirror and blow dryer in our room was broken. The Butler's Pantry was dirty, seemingly unsanitary and smelled of sour garbage. Overall mediocre experience.

Great visit. Super friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Quite a jaunt to the casino, but the shuttle was a blessing to my husband, who has knee problems. Not the most elegant, but that adds to Belle's charm. I am leaving this review, because our experience definitely exceeded the Google rating.

I booked a room reserved yesterday (89$ after taxes) and had to cancel it due to my girlfriend had an a incredible long doctor visit so ok no problem I called and cancelled the reservation that afternoon but then the next morning I find a hold of 159$ on my account so ok clearly it's a mistake ok no problem I called the front desk and to my surprise they told me since I didn't receive an cancelation number they charged me anyway with a 50+$ incident report because I had "no proof" of cancelation so I am very displeased I wasn't offered maybe a free room or perhaps be rescheduled or something just because they made a mistake and not cancel my room I will be sharing my story and review on this fore I have never even been here before my 1st experience is this and they won't get a dime from me.

I never been but I heard of it. I would rate it very good. I only saw the outside of it. I never went in there cause i'm too young. You gotta be 21 but overall not bad if you looking for some entertainment plus a hotel stay if you coming from around the world or traveling.

I was charged for a room that I did not stay in. I made reservations and was told it was first come first serve basis so when me and my fiancee arrived in baton rouge I called the hotel and was told they didn't have anymore rooms available I then explain that I had reservations and still was denied. We went to another hotel and they still charged me saying we didn't cancel our reservations. After explaining to the manager our previous convo. They gave me the run around.

I arrive three hours late tired and exhausted from the drive. The hotel receptionist was very polite. My room was clean and odor free, the hallways was also clean, quite and odor free. I stay on the 5th floor, which I had a clear view of the pool area from my window and also the interstate. The only problem that I had was that the ice machine was not working. My dinning experience was excellent, I enjoy my meal and my drink in a pleasant atmosphere. I did not get a chance to take part of the Hotel's casino. But I will upon my next trip to Baton Rouge. The cleaning staff failed to turn in my watch and makeup brushes. Yes, leaving them in the first place was my error, but by mistake. No one ever returned my many phone calls and messages. Stayed here to attend a wedding in Baton Rouge. The night I arrived, the traffic surrounding the hotel was terrible! There was a prize fight booked in the casino, and there were NO provisions made for guests to access the hotel in order to check in. I was stuck trying to turn left into the hotels drive for 15 minutes, before I called out to a manager (? ) who was standing there watching the traffic, and told him I was trying to check in. He blocked traffic long enough for me to get stuck in valet, because the valet had lost the keys to a car that was blocking the drive. I sat there another 20 minutes until a woman came out of the hotel and told me to leave my car there so that I could run in and check in. After I checked in, I was directed to the parking structure, where the attendant tried to charge me $10 for parking until I showed her the pass I had been given. Apparently the hotel capitalizes on local events by charging a fee for parking. The next night the traffic was even worse due to an LSU home game. ALL streets leading to the hotel were completely blocked off my local police, with absolutely NO access to the hotel. After driving in circles a few times, I finally stopped the car, got out and approached an officer. He was kind enough to let me go through the barricade to get to the hotel. Apparently, there is NO consideration or provisions made to accommodate guests in accessing the hotel or parking when local events take place.

My fiancée and I had coupon for a two day, (8/17 — checking out on 08/19/2014) stay at the hotel. Instead of our card being authorized for $1 the hotel obtained an authorization for $82, placing our funds on hold. The only explanation that we received from the manager on duty was, " we have done nothing wrong on our end, it is an computer gliche and sometimes these things happen" I was given the managers number and told to contact her on Monday, and of course she was not in when I called on Monday. I spoke with another agent Delease (not sure of the correct spelling of name), who has tried to assist me. But as of 08/19/2014 the situation has not been rectified. We will not stay at the hotel again comp rooms or not. There are two other casinos in Baton Rouge and several in surrounding areas. It's worth the travel not to have to deal with the aggravation.

Not as nice as it was advertised to be. Very small bathroom and no fridge. Very friendly staff and room was clean but there was a weird smell in the lobby.

Worst hotel ever its not the staff. Ceiling leaking, skyline leaking from rain everything is worn out and damaged. The t v broken then move to another room and color jacked up. I rather stay on the boat. I been sick since I got here the food is horrible served like slop. Bath tub stopped up. The rooter rooter man and snaked out the drain just a mess. Im going to compain to the better business.

I like the Belle as well as Hollywood. I found that I win more at the Belle and they have more table games which I learned how to play on my first visit. The dealer was very helpful and let me know how to the game is played. PiGow! I left that table with over six-hundred bucks. Went and played a new game and won two-sixty, another and won one-nintyeight! Now, This casino is wonderful! Just don't care to much of how far you have to walk. But if you're gonna be a winner I guess it's worth the steps! Go there, have fun but always. Know your limit.
