Very nice Place, love our Suite.

I've stayed at several candlewoods. All but this one has been enjoyable. This one has issues. In the room one of the bed lights was broken. The bathroom door would not close completely so you could not lock the door. Refrigerator says working ice maker yet it only produce 6 cubes of ice in 24 hours. Then you have the cleaning crew vacuuming the hall at 7pm. Also I did not have my dog this time but all other candlewood it was a 20 dollar per charge. I'm told here its 75. The staff are nice and helpful so that part is a plus.

They have a new concept in there bathroom that is fantastic—a soap, shampoo, and bath jell in a self right there inside the shower. No more these tiny little tubes with shampoo, conditioner, and lotion that is hard to get the content out. Oh, the new configuration has squirt bottles! I visited this place last because of prices. Now I go an extra 20 miles when traveling through to have this shower!

After a horrible experience at a hotel up the road, we got a room at the Candlewood Suites. The room was beautiful and the front desk ladies, Rose and Diane, were very accommodating. Thanks for a great experience.

Great place for travelers! Every room has a fridge, microwave, dish washer, and small stove. They even put dishes, cutlery, salt & pepper… A little home away from home. Small "pantry" for purchasing fresh fruit, breakfast items, and quick bites or snacks. Always clean, and friendly, helpful employees. Many extras offered, most of them at no cost. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience all rpund. Staff very friendly and very very helpful. The best place I stayed at in a while!

WOW for a 2 star hotel it was absolutely amazing. I did check it before we booked for the week. Very nice and clean, staff was amazing. Mary was very polite and went out of her way to help. Friendly staff and having to be there for a week that definitely helped! Pool, decent gym area & free wash/dry, so no need to head to the laundromat.

I loved staying at this hotel. Treated me and my family so well! My daughter was always so excited to see the staff and they were all so sweet to her. This isn't a hotel this is a home away from home. Truly a wonderful place to stay.

All in all a good experience, the room was nice, had a fridge, 2 beds, and a couch. They provided pretty standard breakfast which made it easy to get up, and the hot tub was very nice.

A nice, new facility which is well run by a good team. The gym is well kitted out and a small shop sells some basic food items which you can prepare in your own room. There is no restaurant or food service at all. We went out and ate at Landry’s Seafood which was fantastic.

Staff very friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean, with all the amenities… Full size fridge helpfull with a large family staying for an extended stay for a week. Very nice.

Very nice accommodations. The handicap accessible room is spacious. The staff was nice. There is an "on your honor" pantry, but no hot breakfast. Overall, really nice.

Room was spacious and comfy. Front desk staff were sweet and very helpful when I had questions. Nice kitchen, fridge, and bathroom. Tv was perfect. Towels were amazing as well! Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, clean and spacious! Has fridge, 2 burner stove, large microwave, toaster and dishwasher. Also has lending library where you can borrow counter top appliances such as a grill. All great when staying for a week and don't want to eat out all the time!

Rooms are clean & comfortable. Staff was very friendly & informative. Love the full size fridge & kitchen. Only took one star away because the bathroom would sometimes smell like cigarette smoke although it was a no smoking room. I think the vents may have been connected to a smoking room. Otherwise, great experience!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. It has free laundry services, a pool, and outdoor grilling. Every room has a full size refrigerator along with a full size microwave, stoves, cookware, and automatic dishwasher. Modern TV sets, great Wi-Fi included as well. I love this hotel. Very clean hotel and super friendly staff.

If your going to book a birthday party, please use Hampton Inn and Suites. They told me a week before my kids birthday that they were gonna comp one room and if I needed another they would let me have the room at their cost which was 39.00, I sent invites out to their family and friends and the day of their party they call 3 hours before the party and tell me some bullshit story that they can’t let me do the birthday party. Gave some lie and said well they were sorry. That’s bad bad bad service. If they can’t do it then say it from jump, don’t let your customers send invites and have to last minute have to change where your kids bday party was gonna Be changed to the Hampton Inn & Suites of New Iberia. They definitely made two happy little girls and all their guests. Bad management at CandleWood. I will never stay at any property nor ever recommend it to any family or friends.

The rooms are a nice sizes and good location. Was on third floor, it had a smell like something might of gotten wet. And the tried covering it up with other chemicals. Based about it the lady at front desk act as if it was no big deal.

Pool not opened. Handicap ap room is quite a distance from the front lobby, it could have been closer to the front entrance.

Good clean rooms. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, reasonable price and very clean. They opened their doors to victims of Harvey and set up as a drop off point for donations. Good people!

It was a pleasant stay for the traveller. I was hoping to get sone ice on the third floor, but couldnt locate the ice machine. But everything else was almost perfect. Note the third floor was starting to get musty. I think it needs a dehumidifier.

Very nice place to stay, but we wakened by alot of noise Saturday night.

The day staff was so nice they even came help us unload the, van n gave us a $5 coupon.

The hotel was nice and clean. Recently renovated and is being converted to all non smoking. The rooms are spacious with a kitchenette and full size fridge. They have a big cabinet downstairs full of slow cookers, waffle irons, board games, all sorts of stuff that you can borrow. They were very accommodating after a mix up (on our part) with our reservation. Will stay here again!

My Company booked myself and my coworker rooms at Candlewood for 120 days of training
this year. We are from Baku, Azerbaijan and we were genuinely welcomed and so very satisfied with our stay. We were treated kindly by the staff, our rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the complimentary Wi-Fi, Laundry, Fitness Center, and Outdoor Grill. Halliburton stays exclusively at Candlewood Suites-New Iberia. They are the best!

Came back (home) for a business trip that allowed me to pass through this awesome town. Stayed at this Candlewood and had a slight issue with the TV in my room. Pamela at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. She assisted and after trying herself to troubleshoot the issue, she made it right by easily switching my room to the adjoining room. Her great attitude and kindness is the reason I miss this city and the lovely people that live here! :) Thank you! — oh yeah and they had Seafood Gumbo available in the kitchen… C'est si bon!

Great price, free movie rentals, free dinner one day a week. Watch out for the bed frames; they are sharp. It's a long term stay place, so don't expect fresh linens every day.

Little things mean so much. I love that I can use the laundry machines and also I needed milk and sugar and I got that in your little store. This is our little home away from home. Everything was nice and comfortable. Work was being done on my home and 3 kids starting again. Dishwasher and free washer and dryer.
