Extra extra extra clean, roomy & spacious guest rooms. The staff was friendly and greeted us each time we left the room headed out.

We just stayed for the night to break up a long trip. All of the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel had been recently renovated so it was in good condition. Extensive cable channel lineup unlike other hotels that just give you the minimum. Since we are Honors members, the made to order breakfast was free and very good. Overall a good experience.

I have nothing else to add about this place except stop devaluing Hilton Garden Inn with your cutting corners. I won't be back here and I'm a Diamond member. Customer service was outstanding but the owner is BS.

Staff is great. Hotel is not Hilton quality! TV didn’t work. “they are fixing it”. Wish I stayed somewhere else.

I have stayed at this place several times in the past and let me say this it has gone down… the staff is amazing I can't give a better praise for the front desk, cooking and wait staff and the cleaning staff all deserve high praise. The problem is the room I was in had several problems the bathtub is all scratched up and rusted (Not something you will see at any Hilton Hotel) but here it is a sad fact. The refrigerator doesn't get cold or cool so coming to my room after a hard days work and expecting and cold drink just never happened. It's quite evident that some corners are being cut to save money while the new hotel (a Hampton Inn) is being built. It's sad to say but I won't be staying here again. I guess I'll stay at the Holiday Inn or Marriott from this point forward, I'll go where they aren't cutting any corners I just hope the staff is as good or better. Fingers crossed…

One of my favorite places to stay, wonderful staff. I appreciate that it has a good breakfast and long dinner times, even room service if you want it. Direct TV in the time, very nice bathrooms in the rooms. Front desk (Jeremy) was incredibly patient and friendly, always had a smile on. Would definitely stay here again, no problem.

Stay was great! Only issue was the water had a very noticeable sulfur odor to it shower and sink both. Only thing I don’t like about Hilton Garden Inns is that it’s one of the only hotels where a nice breakfast buffet is NOT included free with the room. Other than that, was all good!

Was pretty easy to get to and parking wasn't an issue while we were there. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was pretty good. I would probably stay there again next time I'm in the area.

Bed is comfy but room is humid and has a weird smell. The humidity is solvable by turning down the air, but the smell tends to linger, although it's not awful. The curtains are also completely see through, and there's no second set that blocks the light. The last problem I have has is the water pressure. It seemed while I was showering the water pressure constantly changed from decent to weak back to decent, and so on. When this happened, the temperature would also switch from hot to luke warm, back to hot, etc. Having said all that, the employees are nice, the bed is comfy, etc. The bathroom has no airflow, which is nice because it stays warm in the summer, meaning when I need to use the restroom in the middle of the night, it's nice and toasty when the rest of the room is freezing cold. Overall, not terrible, but could be much better.

No a bad place. Really pretty. Didn't spend much time there being really busy. But the rooms are clean and the decorations are nice. Kind of disappointed that it was almost $11 for breakfast and dinner but again, I was only there for 2 nights.

This is s typical roadside hotel. It is also typical for Hilton Garden Inn: mediocre but at least it's clean. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cool when we arrived. We didn't use the pool or gym or business center nor did we eat at the "restaurant". There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The PROs: affordable, clean, nice staff. We got a good night's sleep. That's what matters, right? But if you're looking for something special, read the cons below. The CONs: the coffee maker in the room didn't work. The shower water pressure was so low it took me an extra 20 minutes to rinse the soap off my body. The television was 32 inches, way too small to see across a room this size. The "complimentary" Wi-Fi was too slow for even basic use on my phone. They'll sell you good Wi-Fi for an additional per day charge. I just used T-mobile from my phone. The pillows were so soft it was like not having a pillow at all — they kept flattening and then falling between the headboard and the wall. (The headboard is about four inches too high for the mattress so there's a gap that's only really a problem if you're pillows are stupid like these. ) Temporary concern: The hotel next door is under construction. We woke up to the sounds of construction at 7am. Saws, hammers, trucks … We were here on 3.26 — 3.27.2018. If you're thinking of booking any time in the next few months, I'd call first to see if the construction is done.

Hilton properties are consistently well maintained and clean and this Hilton Garden Inn is no different. There is not very much in terms of food or activities around this location. It is, however, conveniently located near the Navy base in Jacksonville. A short drive away you will find beaches, shopping and local sites.

Typical HGI. Modern, great breakfasts, conveniently located and ample free parking. Free Wi-Fi. Staff very friendly and helpful.

So this review is more about my personal experience rather than the hotel as a whole. The staff is very friendly and nice, and the rooms are alright. But if you are checking in and you get room 204, I recommend you ask for another room. i am writing this review at 1am because the massive exhaust fans that are just outside my window sound like dumpsters being dragged across cobblestones and go off every 5-10 min. Needless to say sleep is not much of an option at this point. For the amount of money that this room cost, I am sorely disappointed.

Worst excuse for a mattress ever. I called and they offered free breakfast or dinner… not sure that will help the fact the mattress sags in the middle and offers zero support to your back. The King mattresses supposedly inflates and deflates evidently mine is broken but I’m not sure why I paid over $100 to sleep on a glorified air mattress. Terrible experience and I always stay at Hilton… I’m an honors member.

The desk manager was really helpful when we needed benedryl late at night. The food was also really good, although the selection was pretty normal for $10. Good stay though.

We stayed here a week and just drove to things we wanted to see. Hotel is clean, well staffed and although the breakfast is $10.95 per person, it's well worth the money. Will definitely stay again. I would not complain about anything, although the rooms are a little dark. Everything was great!

Amazing breakfast! I was there yesterday and could not get enough. I’m at the downtown garden inn today and the breakfast here is horrible. Orange park is so much better wish I could go back!

The Front Desk folks at Check-in we're very pleasant and nice. The room was nice and close to where I needed to be.

All the employees are wonderful. They took care of each and every one of their guests and accommodated them extremely well. I feel bad because they had to put up with so much stress from guests that were ungrateful and terribly rude. Thank you for having me and my family and letting people pets stay during this time of need! I for one am very grateful of the management and staff at this hotel.

Extremely disappointed. Understandably, the hurricane placed a great deal of stress and pressure on all employees. Bob, the GM, really needs to evaluate his front desk manager. He was extremely rude, inadequate and possesses absolutely no problem solving abilities. On a much brighter note Jeremy, the night desk operator, was fantastic. Quite frankly he should be the front desk manager. I'm going to call corporate to go into specifics.

These guys were great! We needed a room last minute and they were able to find us a room and even gave us a discount because it was so late. Definitely would recommend!

Nice large, clean rooms. Plenty of parking. Staff was awesome. Easy access to highways. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Only complaint was that after spending over $100 for a room, Breakfast was an additional $10.50 per person.

Rooms were clean and reasonably modern. The staff was courteous and attentive despite it being a soccer tournament weekend. The location is a little difficult with the construction and the street access.

This place is wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Food and wine are great! Just needs a bar.

I can describe this hotel in 2 words: Awe Some! What a fantastic place. Great location, beautiful and clean environment and amazing staff. The bed was so comfy that I never made it down for breakfast. Do yourself a favor and book the Hilton Garden Inn when you're in this area.

I was very happy with my stay here. It was very clean, my room smelled good, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and it was a good location for anyone wanting to stay near Orange Park. They have on-site breakfast that was $20 for both my husband and me, but the kids were free and it was delicious! If I ever come back to Jacksonville, this is where I'll stay!

I had no problems going here. There were friendly staff, a comfortable lobby and room, and it was very clean. They have a big pool and a decent hot tub. Oh, and considering it was a hotel, breakfast was actually very good. Looking forward to another stay here.

Very good overall experience. The room by the elevator was surprisingly quiet considering the bell for the one closest to the room seemed to be malfunctioning, in that I mean it was considerably louder than the elevator next to it and very noticeable. But a good experience non the less.

Nice location near thE Navy base. Nice amenities with good rates. Will book again.

This Inn has the Hilton name without the Hilton experience. First off, they advertise that they have premium cocktails and spirits. The "bar" is a bunch of liquor bottles sitting in the lobby. Guest who makes your drinks. Not a bartender, but THE FRONT DESK STAFF! They staff that were their at night when I checked in had not a clue on how to make mixed drinks. I couldn't get a rum runner, Cosmo, or mojito. The lady struggled to make me a nasty margarita. I drank it because she said she had to charge me for it. The cleaning person said she was a bartender for 25 years and could tell the front desk person how to make me a good tequila sunrise. I figured I would give her a chance to redeem herself, so I agreed. It couldn't go wrong with an experienced bartender at the helm. Well, it did. My tequila sunrise looked like a bloody marry because she was heavy handed on the grenadine. The drink was also weak. She said in order to add more she had to charge me for a double. Ugh, I got charged $10 for it, so I drank half. Secondly, the housekeeper came in to my room to clean while we were in it! I told her we had to eat lunch please come back later. She insisted that she had to come in and clean. How tacky is that? Housekeepers do not enter with the guest there! I complained to the manager just now. The best they did was refund me for the nasty "cocktails". If you are looking for a "Hilton experience" do not stay here! This is run more like a Howard Johnson.

We were using the HGI as the main hotel for our wedding guests. We also were able to host a "social hour" in the main lobby/bar. Overall the HGI Orange Park was very accomodating.

I travel often and I stayed here because the Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites were full. I was sad not knowing what I was getting myself and family into. Well I was pleasantly surprised by the very friendly and accommodating staff, CLEAN ROOMS, and great breakfast (not the usual steamed buffet style). The servers in the dining room are super sweet. I stayed there after a week in Disney before my return home. Needless to say it was so great to have this little gem round off the end of our vacation.

Upon arriving at the Hilton Garden Inn after a horrible drive from Charleston S. C. (normally 4 hr. S turned into almost 7 hr. S due to traffic), I was told at the desk there were over 80 rooms available…, great! How wrong I was…, the rather arrogant young man at the desk told me that they required a credit card to check in, I explained that I would gladly pay for two nights IN CASH — IN ADVANCE. After "running" my debit card he stated it wouldn't go through, (I went straight to a Wells Fargo atm which revealed more than enough). So perhaps a manager should know, if 80 rooms are available perhaps cash upfront might not be a bad idea. I might add, I've been in the hospitality industry for 35 years, I know how to make smiles from sour grapes ;).

Very friedly, clean, and easily accessible. I even received a personal email from the general manager welcoming me.

This hotel was a great stay. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was very clean. I would gladly recommend and stay here again.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Park FL after sailing in the Mug race. We were exhausted and the room was great. My skippers wife had taken care of the reservation. We walked in and they handed us our key. If there was garden that I could hang out and read in the morning you would have gotten that last star out of me. I would definitely recommend the Hilton garden inn.

Worst Customer Service phone experience. Called the hotel got hung up on, called back Hilton and some other jumbles stuff please hold, click, and got hung up on again. Called back. Hilton and some other stuff again can I help you. Told her what I wanted and was put on hold again and guess what hung up on. At this poin I was done.

Clean, So Clean, Perfect, these guys need 6 stars, they have "stars" working all over this "True Gem" in a town looking to obviously "re-brand" itself. I luv'd the whole experience. And there I was looking to save 20 bucks on plain Jane style digs. Step up to Hilton. You Deserve to be Pampered in a luxury setting with "Top People" on point, rockin a Great Attitude and packed with courtesy, information and a willingness to provide "Excellence". People make your experience memorable. Go see my man "Jeff" a consummate Host and genuine personality. I Highly Recommend this "Stellar Property" @ a price point most business travelers and families can afford. You can't afford Not to try it once, you'll be hooked. Wonderful staff, friendliest I have ever met. Great food! 3Rd floor very warm as was room. Fridge did not cool and there was no freezer compartment. Stocking was hit and miss, there was a pen but no paper, towel rack in the shower, (how do you keep the towel dry). Construction in the area made finding the entrance interesting and exiting a challenge.

I arrived with three grandchildren ages 3, 6 and 11. This was the most happiest staff and welcoming staff I've ever seen, from arrival to departure from breakfast and all,, this is the only place I will stay when I visit orange park Fl. Price was great, beautiful room, it was all around a great experience. This is also a safe place. To the staff. Thank you so much for everything! sincerely. Rose Rocker.

We went for a wedding and could not have had nicer service. Thank you Amy, mary, Yanitza, our breakfast server, and Henry. Comfy rooms, nice pool and good variety for breakfast. Close to shopping on wells road.

The staff was very helpful and nice. It was myself and my 3 children. They upgraded my room to a larger room to accommodate a rollaway, which was brought up almost immediately after checking in. My 3 year didn't have any problems with the bed being too tall like another review mentioned. She was able to get in and out w/ no problem at all. The only complaint I would have was the heated pool wasn't very heated at all. Everything else was fine. The location was great for the places we visited while there.
