This place is nothing like what they have advertised on the web site. It's a roach motel with no pool. But it states on the web site that it does have a pool. I didn't even get into the lobby before I was about to puke. I canceled my reservations at the check in desk and was told that my card was not charged for the room. But… Yes it was from Priceline where I made the reservations with. I had to stay on the phone with them an hour to get my money refunded. It's still not credited back to my account yet and was told it would only take 24 hours for that to happen. Thanks for such a messed up vacation. I would not recommend anyone, even the homeless to stay at this place. They may catch something if they sleep in the rooms here.

This place is a dump. We were constantly having to check out the door at our vehicle. The rooms were nothing like it showed on Priceline. I definitely don't recommend bringing children here! There were stains on the carpet and bedspread. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Creepy Erry feeling bc a lot of the Rooms are empty here but the people are awsome and the rooms are big.

This place will never get my koney ever agian, we booked a room for 10pm and paid for 3 days in advance, we arrived at 9:58 pm amd no one was in the office, so we called the onsite maintenance, and the cell phone for who ever worked in the office that was posted, we called for 3 hours straight, we had our 4 year old and 1 month old with us, we eventually gave up after 3+ hours, called the next hotel and booked the room for the night, went back up to astoria to get a refund or our room we paid for. We got niether, we were told our booking was canceled due to a no show so there was a one nights fee charge for that, and apparently a cancellation fee on top of that because they had no rooms left… We argued with them for another hour and managed to only get one nights money back out of the 3 we paid for and it wasnt even our fault. We booked for 10pm showed up a few mins eary and no one was there.

This is an assisted living center. Not a Hotel. It is a wonderful place, very beautiful, and they treat their guests very well.

I would not recommend. The price point was what attracted me to make a reservation. I spent 10 minutes in the room and decided to check out. The room reeked of smoke even though it was a non-smoking unit; the AC unit in the room was apart; I lost count of the amount of stains in the carpet.

Do not stay here even if it's cheap, you get what you pay for! They told me I was paid thru Fri so I went to work came back and my belongings were gone, "everything"! I can't believe it, they said sorry, but I'm pissed off, where's my stuff. They got a few pieces from the trash bin, I'm guessing the maid threw away, probably kept some of my stuff… They haven't done anything about it! Nasty rooms : (

Good place for folk that need a transitional home. Not fancy just adequate. Inexpensive.

It's a really old building with all the things associated, (E. G. Dirty walls, musty odors, dirty bed spread, old TV (not a flatscreen), roaches, poor drainage in the sink, lackadaisical front desk personnel.

Much better than it was years ago.

Live here now. It could be wayyyy better. Only get my room cleaned maybe once aweek. Really need to make some changes and it would be better. Theyyy REALLY need a pool so the guest could have more fun with their kids. And a lil park for the kids to play outside too. Just wanted to say that.

I remodeled this place and wow what nice rooms for rent. Redone everything from the ceiling to the floors. Very nice employees and very helpful.

This is not even worth my time to comment. Horrible wouldn't even describe this place. Blood on sheets, blanket was literally falling apart in my hands. Needless to say we checked right back out. No way was I staying here. And they had a 4 1/2 star rating on the internet. Boy were they wrong.

The front desk attendants Eric and casey were absolutly amazing. They are all about there customers and what they can do to better accommodate you in any way. I recommend this place to any and everyone travelimg… OH one more thing there is security and he's just as amazing!

I like this Hotel Because when I stayed there I felt Safe and I'm Happy with the Staff Very Respectful and well mannered. The Room I Got was Great. Cozy Beds Cold Ac And The Room Had Everything I Needed For my Stay. Thanks Astoria You Guys Are Awesome Mr Harry the Manager Was Very Kind And Is a True Gentlemen. I Recommend this Hotel To Everyone God Bless.

The Astoria hotel is Awesome newly Renovated Rooms. Fresh Paint' Warm Comfortable Beds. Wifi, Cable, Frig in Every Room. Ice Cold ACs 5 Minutes from the Mall and Everything u Can Amagine to Eat within a 5 mile radius. Great Management Mr. Harry is the Best. The staff is clean and professional. Security that protrols the grounds Every Night. I would Recommend this Hotel to Everyone that Truly has Class and wants a great place to Lay your head and Feel Safe and Secure. I Give it 5 stars.

I recently placed a good friend here because he felt comfortable at first visit after speaking with a few of the current residents and I feel the level of care here is exactly what he requires and will receive.

Assisted living in the quarters adjacent to the lobby provide a professional, caring atmosphere for those close to you who you cannot continue to look after any longer yourself; no information on the overnight accommodations on site.

It's still under renovation. Was only opened due to the hurricane. Rooms are fairly comfortable. Showers get good hot water and have decent enough pressure.

This isn't a hotel, its a nursing home. They need more funding, but do have a great staff. Our Church visits most Sundays. You should think of Volunteering here!

The front desk associate was super sweet. I was the to apply for a job and was impressed on how nice everything was. The resident's that I did see seemed relaxed and happy. Staff /resident conversations were going on and it was nice to see.

Very beautiful there. Nice place to have our Avon meetings.

Great staff, reasonable run rates. Meant for long term stays, construction going on so tourists might be expecting a different experience but I have no complaints and have found that mgmt cares about the guests and security. It's actually got a manned security gate! Extensity safe and quiet atmosphere.

Need to be updated. But has nice people working for them ecp. The housekeeper Dawn Nelson. She keeps this place together.

The rooms are beyond terrible… I walked in and right back out of the door! ' This hotel should be condemned.

I used to live in Astoria hotel with my brother and mom a few years ago and it's very nice. Staff is kind and respectful except the breakfast lady. She was very nice at one time then she became very rude towards only me. Other than that, Astoria is a very quaint place for everybody.

No problems very qui haven't had any trouble very nice.

This hotel is very old. Of course they are doing renovations on a section that is suppose to be a assisted living facility. Don't expect to sleep in they start to work early. The lady that runs the front desk during the day is very rude. She acts as if she owns the place. Breakfast is nothing to brag about and you have to eat it in the breakfast area located in the office. You are not allowed to take it back to your room. Never had a problem with housekeeping they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed when ask. Rooms and television were outdated. There is cable but only a few channels. They have a security guard but don't expect to feel safe all he does is stand around unless the police show up for something. There are people that hang out in parking lots at night. And some druggies here. For the money its okay. The area is very congested as traffic patterns in this area are terrible. Hard to get in and out off main road. I will not stay here again or would not recommend this hotel.

I would not have given this one star but had to. We stayed here a few years ago and it was nice but on our recent trip to Jacksonville, this hotel is one of the worse, if not the worse, I have ever seen. Dirty and seedy would be one way to describe it. Supposed to be in a King room but they put us in a Queen room. Cable did not work so no TV whatsoever. Water was not real hot. The next morning, we decided to take some fruit from the breakfast bar so we could eat in our room, but was told we could not take a fruit bowl from the breakfast room. About 3 inches in diameter in a paper bowl. So sad. Woman was also very rude. Do not stay at this hotel. Not worth the savings.

It felt dirty, it wouldn't of got any stars bit I had to write a review so it made me put at least one star. The place wasn't really a nice one. Laquinta in Jax is awesome and you can get it for the same price that they offer. They need to closed the hotel it's a roach hotel. And I think they have bed bugs.

I rented a room for one night. The security guard (Dan) was very rude! he harassed my spouse the whole time we was there. To the point where the cops was called! never never never use this hotel! I couldn't believe how we was treated. We felt like we was treated like criminals! the security guard Dan took my boyfriend items and refuse to give them back. He told me that I would have to have the police come so we can get our items back! I have never been treated so badly at a hotel, or anywhere in my life! i'm seriously thinking of pressing harassment charges on the security guard.
