This is a total gem. Not high end but very Art Deco clean and cozy. Wonderful staff. Absolutely loved our visit. Three short blocks from the beach.

Stunning location near beaches and ocean drive.
Small booking concerns that led us to find ourselves at 5 in a tiny room 2 beds for the first night. We then picked up the villa. Very big for a family. I remember a star because the villa is to be updated especially on the equipment. Good staff.

Great location not far from Ocean Drive but away from the chaos, the hotel is furnished with style and attention to detail, cleanliness is one of the strengths of this structure as well as the hospitality of the staff. In short, it is recommended to 100%! I will return as soon as possible.

Me and my husband stayed there for a night after we got back from our cruise. This hotel is not that great as it appears from the get go things were not right. There wasn't any welcoming friendly staff in fact very rude guy checked us in. They charge you $10 per person for continental breakfast (coffee, banana and donuts) which generally is complimentary. They charge you $12.95 per person for umbrella and beach chair even when you don't use it. There TV didn't work and no one care to fix it even letting the person at the reception know. Too many other knit picking restrictions. You feel like that you are always been watched. Weired room decor and they give you one towel to use in bathroom and a box with few facial tissues in them. Horrible one night experience never going back in there.

Absolutely the cutest hotel I have stayed @ on South Beach. We loved the location especially. We visited during Miami Music/Bass Week & traveled by foot or Ubered everywhere… everything was within walking distance… They are also pet friendly with a dog park one block away (which we did not use as we have a Chihuahua) … but is good to know. The rooms were spacious & updated with hardwood floors, large showers, & adequate natural light, but also excellent window coverings to keep out the light… we loved Villa Italia.

Great location, friendly atmosphere, decent room, and nice breakfast — all for an affordable cost. That is, if you're only charged once! If you book a room at this hotel, be sure to keep a close eye on your credit card statements. I pre-paid for my hotel stay through the Villa Italia website. A very affordable $200.14 given the location. A month later, upon check-in, I was told they had no record of my payment and no credit card on file. I actually had forgotten to bring the …credit card I initially paid with, so I handed them another. As they were ringing up the charge, I found confirmation of the initial payment on my credit card mobile app. I alerted them and they voided the current charge, and apologized for the confusion. Should have been good and done there. But the staff member made no note, and when I went to check out the next morning, the woman made the same accusation — saying I needed to pay. I had to show her the same proof of payment on my phone, and she photocopied my voided receipt from the night before. She also apologized and seemed sincere, but saw no previous record of payment. I left nervous and made a mental note to keep an eye on my credit card charges. Sure enough, after my vacation, I saw another $200.14 charge show up.

Great boutique Hotel in SouthBeach! Excelent staff and location, in the peace of South of 5th Street just a few blocks away from the heart of SoBe and the Art Deco district.

The hotel provides free sun beds, umbrellas and beach towels. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. Right in front of the exit from the hotel Free city bus stop.

Great service. Treat you like family while you stay. Would recommend next time for stay in Miami.

Miami Beach can be a tricky place to find a place where the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. This hotel is a great value along with very, very caring staff.

Great location to the beach, and night life. Also close to a CVS store for little things you may have forgotten.

Beautiful Hotel, 2 minutes from Ocean Drive, 3 minutes from the beach, very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast, I would highly recommend it.

The Villa Italia hotel was the best hotel experience I have ever had. Every inch of the place is beautiful, from the staff to the bathrooms. The room smelled heavenly, even the elevator smelled good. The bed was so comfortable and everything was modern and spotlessly clean. I can’t say enough good things, we loved every minute, everyone was so nice and helpful. The price was also amazing for what you get, I say it’s probbaly the best pick for south beach.

Very nice, small hotel where you are like with friends, perfect location at the end of Southbeach. We left the car in the parking lot for 3 days and visited the interesting places by bus to floor.

Had the best experience while we stayed. Carlina was the most wonderful and informative front desk person we have ever experienced. She made our stay so wonderful just an overall great stay! Room and hotel was very clean and never wanted anything as all was always available! We will be returning as this was a great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quite corner boutique hotel. The proximity from the beach and restaurants nearby is very convenient. The property is small and extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Love this place! The entire hotel is spotless and looks brand new and is in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us coupons for free food and drinks around town. They offer chairs, umbrellas and towels to take to the beach, which is a seven minute walk away. Very nice patio and good continental breakfast. The only downside was the valet parking… It took over thirty minutes one evening to get my car. I think the hotel outsources this service so they're somewhat at the mercy of a third party. We'll definitely stay here next time we're in Miami.

Comfortable. Quality linens. 11 rooms. No soundproofing. No pool. Internet works well. Nespresso makers. I'd give it a 3.5. Quiet corner with restaurants and convenience stores easily available. Beach 2 blocks away. Didn't dare the breakfast.

I was just in Miami for July 4th weekend and while Villa Italia is Just south of the hot spots it was a great place to stay. Rooms were clean, neat and very comfortable. Feels like I was in my own private Villa rather then an overstuffed snobby hotel like other's I've stayed at in the past. I think the more private location was actually a real plus for me. If you're looking for a great place to stay and a good value this is it.

Amazing staff. Everyone calls you by name. Not much in the way of parking but the valet service was easy and quick. This place is brand new with great ammenities. Worth every penny. I want to go back already and I just left yesterday! Thanks for a great stay.

I often visit Miami Beach for work, and in the last 3 months I've stayed in about 5 different hotels in Miami Beach. The city may be beautiful, but a lot of the hotels aren't so great. Villa Italia Hotel is a fabulous exception, and my favorite Miami Beach hotel so far. It's a brand new hotel, opened in March 2011, and impeccably clean. It only has about 12 rooms/suites so it's extremely quiet and pleasurable. The hotel is owner-operated – it's the owners you talk to at the front desk. They clearly take great care and pride in their property. The room's furnishings and bathrooms are beautiful and modern. It's also a green certified building. The staff remember your name and offer to help you with anything you need. The friendly chit chat as you grab free continental breakfast is an extremely nice touch. A+++.
