Old room, pretty clean for its age. Very affordable. No bugs. Didnt smell of smoke. Not bad for an inexpensive hotel. Decent value for money.

Traveling to Florida from Michigan and my husband and I were looking for somewhere to stay overnight after crossing over the Florida State line. We were exhausted and just wanted somewhere to sleep for the night. It was late and unfortunately all the hotels in the area were booked. The guest inn was the only hotel that had a room available, so we checked in and paid for a one night stay. It caught my attention that there was a sign posted at the front desk that stated "If you are unhappy with your room you must notify the front desk within 30 minutes of check-in. " So we went to our room and I gave it a quick look over and thought it wasn't that great but it was just for the night, so we went out to eat and when we returned to the room I looked a little deeper and the more I looked the more disgusting I found it to be. There were several black specks on the sheets near the head of the bed, right under headboard area… looked like it could have been some type of debris from bugs. So now I'm really freaked out and start researching online how to look for bed bugs. When I looked along the baseboards behind the bed and nightstand it was absolutely filthy! There was debris and casing from bugs! The side of the box spring of the bed was heavily soiled with some type of fluid… not sure if it was some type of body fluid or something else. At this point I'm absolutely disgusted, tired, and just want to get as far away from this nightmare as possible!

We stumbled upon this hotel, when two others on same street had no vacancy. Price was great. Room smelled great, beds great, plenty of hot water, quiet, very clean and the office was quick to process us, very efficient. We didnt care that it needed updating. We give it a 5 star.

No frills motel. But our room seemed clean. Everything worked. The staff was friendly. In the morning there were sweet rolls, orange drink, and very good coffee in the lobby.

This place is a health hazard. The beds are infested with bed bugs and the coffee maker had mold in it. Cleanliness is definitely not a priority here.

Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money and book ahead for a better hotel. We stayed here one night while traveling and it was terrible. The towels looked like they'd already been used and hung back up. It smelled bad. And worst of all, the room was like a furnace when we entered. It was so hot and it took all night to cool down once he turned the AC on. I would never go here again.

This is the worst hotel that I have ever stay. The air conditioner didn't work properly and the owner that is Hindi called the room more than 3 times to wake us early to make us the check out earlier, in order to avoid the use of the electricity. The rooms stinks and the cleaning wasn't good. No Wi-Fi provided and the customer services horrible. The owner acted like he couldn't understand English. The sad part is when these Hindis goes to a restaurant or any hotel if the services is not good they demand a refund and end up not paying anything because that is the right for them supposedly. No star for them cero.

The room for the price wasn't too bad, however, the air in our room didn't work well at all. It was just as hot in the room as it was outside. When I told the guy at the front desk, he just ignores the comment. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

This should be a not even one star place, full of bed bugs, yet they act surprised like it never happened before. I should've read the reviews first before staying there. Dont make that same mistake!

This is the biggest dump we've ever stayed in, the rooms are run down, unlevel because the whole property sits on a sink hole, the owners are almost non existent in the office, the housekeeper (who is the only employee) had to let us in the room and the air-conditioning unit runs very poorly so we were hot both days of our stay.

I swear to god ill never stay another night woke up next morning my girl arm was bit up by and only gave us a $15.00 refund out of $70.00. Just filthy.

Quick 6 hour sleep stop. Door was stuck on check-in making me think we were trying to get into someone's room at 2am.

My wife and I stayed here late one night while passing through and the night manager was not very nice. It was more expensive than posted on here. The room was not very clean. I would stay elsewhere in the future when we go through there again. Just because a hotel is older and foreign owned does not mean they have to let it go to pot like they have with this one. On our trip, this was the newest hotel/motel we stayed at, as we LOVE the motor lodge type hotel/motels. And the absolute worst one. That says something about this place.

This a little bit neglected and old the place but this accessible price.

Room was smoking free but smelled like someone did it anyways. Too loud and not comfortable beds but nice customer service.

Would give this place no stars if possible. Staff was racist and too busy worrying about my relationship than renting me a room. She told me one price over the phone and when she saw me, she told me a much higher price and refused to give me a room on ground level despite all rooms being empty. If you don't mind racist workers and crappy rooms with different prices, rent at your own risk. Gateway is cheaper and much better.

Best place not heard sex noises.

This place was awful! Don't even waste your money. Staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. They didn't have enough towels so we had to share towels. (just my husband & I) There were stains on the washclothes, looked like blood. We were told it was rust. We chose to not use them because they didn't have anymore washed. We were in the area for the Suwannee River Jam, so we were coming back to our room late at night. We had trouble getting our door to shut & latch. Even when you thought it was latched all you had to do was push on it from the outside & it popped right open. We made double sure it latched & locked before we left. When we came back one night a little after midnight our door was open. Apparently the cleaning crew wasn't as concerned with whether or not our door was secure. We stayed in room 203. We alerted staff about all of these problems. Never received as much as a sorry. Do yourself a favor & learn from our experience, don't ever stay here.

This place was so exciting, the floor was so slanted it was like having a built in fun ramp in the room! When I stood up out of bed I fell right into the wall. What a great way to wake up. I wasn't quite sure how they achieved this, I often wondered if the ground was going to open up and engulf me in its warm embrace. On top of that it smelled amazing, like a 100 year old basement, it was like being emersed in history! Oh sweet mildew. The best part is I left with the plague upon both my houses as my boyfriend and I are now sick. Oh what a great time. In short you get what you pay for friends ;)

We booked a room on line on 6/14 and when we got to the Econo-Lodge in Lake City Florida, we were told they did not have a reservation. At that time we paid for a room. We get home and have charge on our credit card for 6/14 and then one showing for the 25th where they are saying we booked for the 24th and were a no show. They will not refund our money for the room on the 24th when we were never even in Florida then. Don't stay here unless you want to be double charged.

Clean beds and a warm shower was all that we needed — The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Gross hotel, we picked this one because they accepted pets. Stayed in room 113 and it freaked of cat pee, air conditioner sounded like a freight train when it kicked on, there were roaches. Do not stay there.

The office is nice. The rooms suck. The TV doesn't work correctly. I won't stay here again.

Place looks and feels like a big ol' hole in the wall. Dont wast your time and money.

Floor is slanted about 25 degrees in the room. You literally walk down from the door to the room to the bathroom. I found roaches in the bathroom that I didn't tell the wife about because I wanted to get some sleep. Please don't stay here, keep driving or spend the extra money.
