Basic older hotel, but nicely decorated. TV could be bigger though. A nice plus is dinner the night you check in and then breakfast the next morning. Never saw thisoffered before.

The staff was very nice. We really appreciated the dinner provided when we checked-in. It was nice not having to go out after a long drive. The one negative I would give is the slight smell of smoke in our room which was supposed to be nonsmoking.

The best hotel I've stayed at for customer service, convenience, and price! We were basically homeless for 5 weeks while waiting to close on our house. The staff and management made us feel like family! Rooms were clean and nice. Close to food and shopping. Management serves not only breakfast but dinner as well Sunday thru Thursday! Pool was very nice, clean and well taken care of! I will centrally certainly go back and tell all my family and friends to stay!

Great price for a clean room and comfortable bed. We are disabled and they accommodated us with a handicap room. They did this with a friendly smile. Awesome place.

Nice quiet and safe place for overnight. Semi truck parking. Newly remodeled room and bathroom. Clean, clean, clean. From the carpet to the toilet and tub. Comfy beds. Also a crew was working on the rest of the motel. Nice size pool. Free supper and breakfast. Very nice staff! Would recommend this place and will stay there again when in the area.

Wasn't bad for the money. Could use some updates but I will say they were very accommodating. They were even pet friendly which is hard to find any more. Breakfast was pretty good too. Over all cant complain. Recomend eating at Ken's BBQ while you're there. I would stay here again for sure. Ohhh great pool!

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We walked in the room and right back out. The room was dirty, carpet was ragged and dirty, black ring inside bathtub. Tissue dispenser falling out of the wall. We asked for a reund. Nope… that is not their policy! Avoid this if at all possible.

This place is amazing best hotel I have ever stayed in the Manager Troy is a very kind soul and the staff were great definitely never forget you all and will recommend you to anyone going to or through lake city ty for treating us as family will always hold a special place in my heart xoxoxo god bless you all.

Good place to rest for the night. Nice pool, good location and quiet. Not a lot close but plenty of options for delivery. I suggest the Chinese.

Rating is based on value for the area. This is no 4 star hotel. Lol. It was however very recently renovated. Kinda weird colors but comfy new beds and very clean. Night manager was very nice. Would def stay here again.

Clean place. Didn't get to try the breakfast as we got in late and slept in (it was over at 9 on Saturday). Showers need work. Hot water poured out of the bottom while the shower head had lukewarm and cold intermittently. I had also booked a king bed, but because we were checking in late, they said only 2 queens were available. Otherwise, comfortable beds and no complaints.

Worst stay in my life. Nasty dirty room. Mean the breakfast lady was the only redeeming value.

The staff is unbelievably nice! The complementary breakfast was great, biscuits and gravy and waffles. The rooms are ok but they certainly make up for it in service! Outdoor pool too.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at! it was so run down and filthy dirty… I have many pictures that I took but I am reserving posting any of them they are just so bad… do hotels and motels ever get inspected? They sure should know about this place… I am going to have to confront the company on this one… just terrible!

Real friendly with a free dinner and breakfast. The best amenity was the coffee in the room!

Was a very large room, clean and staff were very friendly. Passing thru you take a chance… but it was Awesome… slept very well… if thru again will stay again… Thank you.

It was clean and welcoming. Breakfast was good, person running it was kind and helpful Front desk staff very kind. You can see they are in process of renovating.

To my surprise when I got here we found there was a few other families here that had kids and we're standing here so we thought it was ideal place.   As months went by I have seen many things go on in this  hotel. I saw three drug bust here. One I woke up in the middle of the night and had an AK shined at me from a sheriff looking for some would-be robber that ran that stole somebody's purse or broke into somebody's house I thought wow that put a new light on a roof over your head. As time went by I noticed people we're kicked out like dogs for having a messy room, but if your in rm 107 the rule does not apply, and reasons that simply do not make sense like the kids were playing, or simply because somebody didn't like them for one reason or another we are all different we all do not do the same as someone else does some of us have better cleaning habits than others some look Stranger than others or some walk different than others for those reasons,   I seen that people are getting kicked out with simply being difference.

Smells clean as soon as you open door. Beds clean. Bathrooms clean nice place…

Other than a couple loud guests the place was great. I have Fibromyalgia, beds usually keep me tossing in pain, but not these! I slept well. It was nice. The service is awesome, breakfast is fantastic! Biscuits and gravy, cereal, there isn't a whole lot of junk breakfast here, hooray! They also fix waffles for you, Megan is super nice and friendly. They'd rather fix it for you than you burn yourself. If you get a bed with an uncomfy mattress, ask for another room, they are available. I liked it here a lot.

$100 for extremely seedy hotel. Stains on the walls, dirty bathroom. Wouldn't recommend.

Looks like people live there, it needs to be updated they did clean outside every morning but the clientele threw cigarette buts every where and in flower beds need more ashtrays staff was nice.

Good location, friendly staff, reasonable Price's, clean rooms. All in all one of the best deals in Lake City if not the best.

This was a horrible place! I stayed here for a week and went numerous days without getting my room cleaned. There is definitely people living at the hotel, so expect that. The people working at the front office don't know what they're doing. The management was rude as well. I do not recommend staying here at all. Find a different hotel in town or keep driving to the next city.

We got 2 rooms for the night only one has a working shower at 6:30 am when it was discovered we just used our other room but the hotel would offer no discount or assistance. Also are trailer got broken into in the parking lot shady place seemed more like an apartment complex then a hotel. Very unhappy customer GM wouldn't even talk on the phone when I called just was to busy! I would recommend even if it was free!

You just can't beat this deal! WOW! Free breakfast every morning, free dinner Sunday-Thursday, free ice cream and at a really great rate! A clean comfortable room and a quiet atmosphere to rest in. We work nights and have had no problems with noise. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone… Especially if you are a traveling worker.

From the outside it looks great but once you get a room you'll regret it. Smells like sewer as soon as you walk in. There was someone's trash under the desk. You can hear everything from the other surrounding rooms. The beds are rock hard and don't be surprised if someone knocks on your door in his boxers asking for a cigarette. I would've rathered slept in my car instead of this dump.

All rooms have cockroaches wanna be thugs that look like they live in hotel rooms and sale drugs, weird bugs in rooms, rooms also smell funny and carpets look really dirty, never will stay here again and don't recommend anyone else staying here, bed bugs and fleas, not sure if the staff and there friendstuff or just dirty people put nice comments below this but it is very gross, when in room you get really itchy, there's people that live in the rooms have plants and decorations all set up outside I wouldn't even give this place 1 star, this place doesn't deserve the busness I will be calling the corporate office and will be letting them know.

Read reviews before stopping. They were wrong. I've been in truly questionable places but this wasn't one. Polite, professional, and friendly. Room, very comfortable. Definitely remembering where this is :-)

Absolute FLEA BAG hotel… Where have these people stayed saying these rooms were even remotely humanely acceptable? Employee reviews? I just checked in and am checking out immediately. Room 230. Room smelled like filthy truckers, bottom of feet were BLACK after 5 mins without shoes, bed mattress old old old spring junked out back breaking death trap. And the faucets and tub hardware were all rusted and bluing from age!?!?!?!? How this hotel hasn't been SHUT DOWN by Super 8 corporate is beyond me! DO NOT STAY HERE, VERY UNSAFE!

Was a ok place to stay over night rooms were ok.

Stayed overnight. Very friendly, accommodated large moving truck easily. Very clean big rooms. No problems at all.

Very nice place, clean & well maintained. Frigerator microwave TV office table very nice reasonable.

Good room for the night. Had coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge in the room.

I spent two night it's okay. Breakfast in the morning.

Thought it was a bit pricey but was given senior discount which brought it into line. Mary, the front desk clerk, was very personable & helpful. Room was clean and AC was turned on in advance which was great because it was very hot & humid (August). Pleasantly surprised that they had a complimentary dinner. Not just a "continental", they heaped the plate! Southern hospitality? Definitely recommend this Super 8.

We've stayed here several times. It's comfortable and everything always worked. Friendly staff, decent breakfast unlike the over priced Holiday Inns which charge extra for breakfast. Nice pool. Pet friendly, kid friendly. Wendy's, Little Caesars, Exxon, S&S Gas all within walking distance. Offers big truck parking. Freightliner down the street.

It's not worth any money for the room they are old rooms dirty just don't even bother staying here pay a little bit more money and stay and a decent place. I paid $78.

No blanket on the bed, and bathtub doesn't have a plug. And really wanted to soak in the tub.

Friendly staff, but dirty rooms and floors, don't think they owen a VACUUM! If your hardup for a room, this is the place for YOU! Never stay here again.

Interesting Super 8! It appears to be an old motel purchased by Super 8 and then renovated. There are two floors, my room was on the second floor in the courtyard. The room was clean, no issues with bugs or odors, stains, etc. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They have a nice big kitchen/dining area with waffle iron to make your own fresh waffles. I got a good night's sleep so I was a happy camper. The only real disappointment was the CRT TV. And mine had some kind of problem with the cable, it kept putting a message in the middle of the screen which was annoying. I called the office and they had someone out quick. He reset the small cable box but 15 mins later the message was back.

4:16 Friday evening the 18th of October. AND NO ONE IS ANSWERING THE FRIGGIN' PHONE! Checked number over and over. Either it is listed wrong or what? Either way, it's inexcusable. Just lost a customer.

Good: Room is clean, room is huge, the pool is nice, and friendly staff. Not so good: air conditioner has a horrible musty smell that is almost overwhelming, bathtub faucet is leaks a lot of water (very wasteful). I have stayed in 30+ super 8 motels all over the country since the first of this year. I work on the road. I would say that this one is average when compared to others. This is just a one night stay while driving, but I would likely stay in this hotel longer after switching rooms if I was working near here. Not bad, but not great.

I stay in hotels all the time for work and usually try to avoid Super 8s, but I decided to try this one out. I was very impressed especially since my expectations were so low. When I checked in at the front desk with Lisa she was extra friendly and helpful. She moved me to a quieter room like I asked and informed me that I didn't need to come back to the front desk to check out. This made things a lot easier for me. She even gave me 2 free ice creams instead of 1 (I stayed by myself). Lisa even went out of her way to call my room, once I got situated, to make sure everything was ok. I have never had any hotel staff do this in any hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in some very nice hotels. The room was clean and I had everything I needed. I'm glad I gave this Super 8 a try and a special thanks to Lisa.

It was good, don't expect a red carpet, it's not a Holiday Inn. I stayed for one night and it was good clean place. The staff was friendly.

The customer service was top notch. The beds were comfortable. I never got my own "house on the hill", but this hotel felt like my own "house on the hill" as it is up a gentle hill. If you are looking for a place to relax away from the hubbub, Stay here! — Marvin.
