Pretty gross place. If we had the energy, we would go somewhere else, but will just sleep a few hours and head out. Room smells of mold/mildew. No ice bucket in our room. Asked receptionist for one, but she had no plastic bag. Then, to top it off… there was no ice anyway! Had to run up to corner store and buy a whole bag, just for a few cubes needed. Parking is convenient is about the only good thing to say. Take my advice… for the price, you can find better!

I didnt like the room I got room 120 was dirty the air dont REALLY blow good was hot the beds felt dirty un comfy the pool was the onley thing that was enjoyable overall it being a 2.5 star motel amd suppouse to be fancy nah I dont think so and I was really excited to get that hotel till I experiment the stay and its a no no for me wont be back.

So horrible! All of the 1 stars are so true. This location shouldn't even be open! Attempted to stay there in March.

Used priceline express deal for a 2.5 star room. Got this place. It was so filthy, we left. The sheets had stains. The floor hadn't been vacuumed. The sheets didn't even fit the mattress. People were smoking right outside the non smoking rooms. It was bad.

Upon arriving at the hotel the staff was friendly, but entering the room I was shocked as the pictures on the website and what the room actually looked was so different. The room smelled, did not look clean, bathroom was small, shower had not water pressure. TV stopped working due to a storm, we made numerous complaints about the TV and was told all the TV's was out, but everyone we spoke with at the hotel said theirs was working. Went to the front desk the next morning to speak to a very cocky desk clerk who could hardly speak for chewing her gum and all she could say my hands are tied. My suggestion would be before you tell someone all the TV's in the hotel aren't working is to make sure they aren't working before you lie about it. Parking is horrible and the riff raff that hangs out in the parking lot at night give you a very unsafe feeling. Will never ever stay at another baymont again and will make sure all my friends and family dont either. A big shout out to the manager who is as useless as they come, his help with the TV was unsatifying as well.

Total dump. Girl that checked us in didn’t want to be there and pretty much said so. Hot tub room had no lights on and no way to turn them on. Woke up this morning to water all over bathroom floor. So, I would say stay away, far, far away.

Eewwww please don’t stay here. Rooms are dirty and dingy. There is dust everywhere. Toilet had hair on it when we got here. Some weird little bugs (not fleas or bed bugs, maybe termites? ). Totally not worth the price. The pictures in the post are NOT accurate.

Our non-smoking room smelled like someone had just lit one up. The bathroom floor had hair all over it, the mirror still had toothpaste spit on it. The bed was clean. They do have a small fitness center with a treadmill, bike, and weight center — but the ac was broken. Pool was in working order and clean, too.

Stayed 3-31-18. While checking in I noticed the girl making copies of my credit card and drivers license. Totally illegal. Once the card is run by the merchant the only thing they should see is the last 4 of your card. She said it was policy for “incidentals” I said they are free to go through the room in the morning at check out and that I wanted that copy of my card and license. Well they made 2. That was the only place that card was used in lake city, and it was shut down the next day because someone tried to make a keyed in withdrawal. I will never stay at another Baymont again, and I will copy this review and spend a day posting it on any baymont review site I find.

Very bad experience! We had a reservation and the front desk clerk said there were no rooms available. After 20 minutes they finally said they have a room. Room was dirty, keys didn't work in door the door didn't shut properly. Had to get another set, multiple outlets did not work. My wife was unable to do her hair. No hot water. Also as we were checking out there was no one at front desk another guest had been standing there for near an hour to check out. Another guest was also trying to switch hotels because of issues she had.

Let's see… the room… surfaces never cleaned (counters sticky and can rings everywhere). Hair in tub. No Kleenex, no toilet paper. Ghetto as ghetto gets. Beds were comfortable, but that's the only positive thing I can say… 3 hours to my destination where I'll shower this experience off.

This Baymont is probably the worst motel I have ever stayed in. We booked here because of past Baymont properties are clean and the amenities like the hot tub and the fitness center all work. Nothing works at this motel the rooms have gum in the carpet peanuts on the floor cob webs hanging from the ceiling blood on the ceiling the doors and floors were disgusting. The best thing about this place is the a. C. Worked great.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was a little shabby and breakfast room was very tiny. Room for only about 12 people. We would stay again if no other room was available.

Room was decent at best. Phone in room didn't even have a cord to plug in. No extra towels after I walked to the front desk. Lady at front desk said she would have someone bring them to me later that day and never did. TV channel selection was worse than what I have at home and that's saying something. Metal strips holding down the carpet at front door was bent up just waiting to cut someone's foot open.

The location was little off road. Hard to find quickly. The reward of it was quiet and safe location. The staff was informative and helpful. Free parking! after a long drive it is a welcome and comfortable setting. Places to get food are close by also.

Ok not really clean. Bottom of commode filthy. Beds slept good. TV lousy. Charged $5 over traveler book listing. Charged $10 book stayed $5. Just ok. Keys had 2 b reprogrammed on order 2 open door. Just glad got there late & left early.

The arrangements in the rooms were adequate for a one night stay. The beds were decent, but the rooms weren't as clean as they could have been.

For a non smoking hotel there was smoke smell everywhere. The worst was in the lobby and lobby bathroom. I started coughing the minute I walked in to check in. Smoke sensitive people need to find another place to stay.

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice staff and a good breakfast. The price was reasonable. The stairsare a little sterp so if you have trouble withbthat ask for a 1st floor room.

It looks good in the online pictures. It is well decorated, but very poorly cleaned. Had to switch rooms… and still not good. When we arrived a family was at the front desk before us and when I was back at the front desk to switch rooms later they were there. They had switched rooms 3 times. They said, "they were all dirty, hairs everywhere, stains on the bedding, cup rings on the furniture from the guest before". That was our experience too, but we were too tired to drive on so we stayed. We got little sleep. The walls were so thin that we could clearly hear and feel the couple next door having sex. The headboards shared a wall. More than you want to know about your hotel neighbors. Skip this place!

Room was clean and comfortable, bed hard. We had expected a better Brekfast since Baymont inn in the Marriott family. We unfortunately left an expensive personal pillow behind, but they didn't find it.

Stayed this past weekend at this hotel, first room. We checked into was I guess a handicap room, very small room, sheets were dirty, floor was dirty not acceptable. Called from desk was told come back, they put us in another room. Bigger room, phone did not work to call front desk, toliet made loud squealing noise when flushed, no water pressure in shower and the counter where the sink looked to be for short people. Very disappointed with our whole stay there especially for the price we paid, was definitely not worth the money we paid. Was woke up sat morning at 430 am blasting music and then again Sun morning with people being loud outside. Just so dissatisfied I feel as my family wasted money.

Checked in. Went to room and immediately checked out. Sheets on one bed looked crisp and clean. Sheets on other bed were wrinkled and obviously slept in. These are not my cleanliness standards. Grime in bathroom sink and toilet. Took a clean washcloth, wet it and ran it over the TV table only to come away gray with dirt from the table. No thanks. Money promptly returned. Not the front desk clerks fault I know but Bayfronts housekeeping staff is beyond lazy.

I don't even want to give this place one star, that's how bad it was. After driving 13 hours my family and I just wanted a decent place to stay for the night with our two dogs, nothing fancy, but this was far from it. Our room absolutely reaked of dog urine and there was crusted dog poop piles on the carpet. The toilet had a ring of grime inside of it looking like it hadn't been washed in weeks. All I can say is if you decide to stay here just know your sheets were not washed. We opened up the comforter to find 3 long black hairs on the pillow and on the sheets. (My family has blonde hair) The other bed had a big blood stain and piece of hair on one pillow and that's as far as we got before we dialed housekeeping with the hotel phone that didn't even work. We proceeded to call the front desk off of our cellphone and the lady at the front desk told us "hunny you sound like a robot" and hung up the phone. We finally explained our situation at the front desk and given a room that was supposed to be clean, the bed in that room had a hundred black dog hairs and a bloody looking piece of dry skin once again under the comforter, on the sheets. We left at 12 am and drove 40 more minutes to find something decent. Spend the extra 30 bucks because this hotel is absolutely disgusting!

Excellent facilities, friendly people, and comfy rooms. The bed was a little hard, and the Wi-Fi wasn't great, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Just got hung up on by the shift supervisor "Kristy! " Unbelievable rudeness! These are extraordinary times as folks are trying to evacuate from an impending MASSIVE hurricane and this is the treatment we get. Absolutely pathetic! Zero stars for this hotel!

Do not stay here! someone walked into our room as we were sleeping and said that front desk gave him this room key? "? unbelievable and TV did not work to boot. Called front desk 3 times and was assured that maintenance person would be there soon. They were probably in hawaii hiding from this carney crew running the place… no apologies, only bs from staff. Nightmare in lake city! final episode.

My husband and myself stayed here for 4 days and I have to say it was very nice. The breakfast was good, clean room, friendly staff. I would give them a 4.5 only because they have limited towels and you have to wait until the afternoon to get more towels. Overall it was a very good experience and we will stay there again.

The staff in the lobby were pleasant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. We were told where our room was and despite not being able to park in front of our door there was still plenty of parking that still had a short walk to the room. The room was noce, clean, and smelled good. We ate breakfast in the morning and it was good. Nothing wrong was seen by either my boyfriend or myself. 10/10 would recommend and go again.

I just wanted to start this off by saying that I live on the road, and in doing so, my home is the closest hotel for the area that I'm working in. Based off of most of the reviews I have read thus far, I was skeptical about coming here. Maybe I got lucky, but my room was great! I carry a black light to check the beds, and my sheets were clean. No bugs anywhere. Floors were clean. For the price, it was a great experience! I also end up doing a lot of paperwork late at night, and I always enjoy company. Luckily, the night employee Shawn is a great conversationalist! One of the topics we discussed was management/employees, and I truly do feel that Shawn is management material. I'm looking at you Beaumont. I'm not trying to kiss ass, but it's people like this that make people like me enjoy my stay. I give credit where credit is due.
