This place is amazing. Very clean rooms with everything you need in a home away from home. We have a family of 8 and have plenty of space. You couldn't possibly have a better location. It is peaceful and relaxing but close enough to the excitement to walk to in just a few minutes. The beautiful beach just right across the road. The staff has been wonderful and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back! We are already planning our next trip to this wonderful location and have not even left yet! We are so grateful for Royal North Beach for an amazing vacation!

What a beautiful view! You can watch the sunset from the second floor perfectly! Or the beach is a few steps away! These are large Suites with beautiful furniture! The pool is very well kept, as a pool cleaner was there daily. Great place for all ages, couples and families! I enjoyed meeting others from different parts of the world here in Clearwater, on vacation! The Manager and staff are also very professional and courteous. The price was just right. I will definitely return next year! Thank you Royal North Beach Suites! You made my vacation stay wonderful!

My daughter and I stayed here and loved it. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool area was fun and the walk across the street, to the beach, was easy! The price is right for all they offer!

I would give six stars if I could. Me and my wife stayed at this hotel last year. And we just left from a wonderful 8 night stay. From are room my morning coffee was great you can see the ocean. The manager or owner was great they give you privacy and are very respectful. The Italian cleaning lady was so nice to us and made more then sure we had very thing we would need daily. Great place on the quite end of the island. I I would recommend this place to anyone and if I return I will visit again.

Great place to stay, the room was beautiful and had a full kitchen. The pool was crystal clear and warm. The motel was across the street from the beach a quick walk and you were on the sand. Pier 60 was in walking distance. Great place to stay.

For us this is better than 2-star but not as good as 3-star. The art deco decor is fun, but I am quite disappointed with the dirty walls, lack of curtains, extremely worn doors and bathroom fixtures. That said, the staff has been very pleasant and accommodating. We had a late arrival, flying in at midnight. They arranged for us to access a lock box for entry into our suite when the office was closed. Some minor repairs and fresh paint and this place could be stellar.

Excellent service. For the kitchen enthusiast its the place to go, it offers a full kitchen where you can prepare all your meals and its 1 block away from the beach. Its an old hotel but vert enjoyable and family friendly. From now on thats our place to go when heading to clearwater beach.

Beautiful resort with a community pool. The pull-out couches in both rooms didn't have sheets and there weren't any extras in our rooms. Staff was very helpful the next day however.

I feel this is in a very good location, however I do prefer the other end of Clearwater Beach closer to pier 60 where I usually stay for the convenience of being more centralized. This is good if you want more privacy and less commotion. It offers great view if sunsets within short walking distance from hotel to beach directly across the street. Apartments are equipped with full kitchen. I can't speak for other apartments but ours was ok. There were not enough utensils, 4 cups and two chipped, one we had to throw out. We made our own dinners. No working can opener had to use knife to open cans. Yes we asked and was given one but it was a bottle opener not can. We improvised. It's ok. We ask for blow up beds but it just always seem we couldn't get a straight answer. The pull out couch had very thin mattress and lacked for comfort. The boys said they felt the springs in their back whole night. Free laundry service is a plus. I believe pillows should have sanitary plastic covers as well as the beds. From what I understand owner is very nice and accommodating but he has been on his country for family emergency last month. The person be left watching the place, although very nice and pleasant had language barrier which made it difficult for him to understand what we wanted or for us to understand him. I do think it's a nice place but needs more attention placed on customer service and be more accommodating. I would come back again.

Great place; very clean the rooms are like a 1 bdrm apt. Pool is warm and clean! The only reason I didn't make it 5 star is that there is no ice machine.

Love the location, so close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The room is like a little 1 BR apartment. The staff is so friendly. The amenities include Wi-Fi, beach towels, beach chairs and pool access. The doors to the rooms have cipher locks so I can go to the beach and not worry about losing a key. I would definitely stay here again. It is an older building without central AC, but has great air conditioners and fans that keep the place cool, and since I don't spend too much time in the room, I don't consider this too much of a negative.

Staff super friendly and accommodating. Clean condos. Nice pool. Close walk to beach, shopping, restaurants and bars. Definitely will be back.

Mesmerizing Stay. It cannot get better, it was our anniversary and we were warmly welcomed by the owner/manager. Room was very clean and beachy. We loved staying here, did I mention the owner/manager also gifted us a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary :)

Small but Memorable family vacation! Kids loved the pool, the rooms are nicely decorated and very CLEAN… The manager/owner is very helpful and a gem of a person. We are already missing Royal North Beach. We will see you soon for a long relaxing Holiday… Highly Recommended.

Unfortunately not recommended. Old, inhabited and noisy rooms. Very small bathroom. Defects are not fixed. Unkempt pool area.

AWESOME FAMILY STAY! Loved the large clean rooms and amenities. Crystal Clear Pool! Little works needed inside the room but NO BIG DEAL! The cherry on the cake is the FANTABULOUS STAFF & Services… Definitely returning back … Keep It Up Guys!

Very accommodating, especially with it being last minute due to Irma. They took our reservation late night. The guy at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very nice and like a small apartment with all the required necessities! I would definitely recommend.

My family and I recently stayed for a full week and had a great time, rooms are very nice and having a kitchen really saved us $ especially with two kids. Location is ideal, within walking distance to everything we needed. We'll be back!

It breaks my heart to write this review. We've been staying at North Beach for years. We haven't been in three years and it was apparent on our arrival that the management has changed. I will tell you that we loved North Beach. The location, price and room amenities can't be beat. It really is a little slice of heaven. However, it has become a maintenance nightmare. Things are not being fixed, cleaned or attended to properly. Just a few examples : Our wall air conditioner left the wall needing some repairs and patching, it was covered with duct tape. Our coffee carafe has been broken and a new carafe had been purchased that did not fit the machine which meant it took forever to make coffee as well as the hot plate being completely rusted out. I find this ridiculous. Coffee pots aren't expensive, just buy a new one. Wall hooks were broken and not fixed or replaced, hair dryer was broken, our toilet handle did not work right, shower handle was very finicky, just to name a few. On arrival, we brought in our things and I had taken my shoes off (because in the past the rooms had been in fabulous shape) within two minutes my feet were black! The floors had not been mopped after the last guests. (ewww! ) the dishes in the cupboards were dirty to say the least and had an odor to them. The bathtub was absolutely disgusting upon arrival. The bed completely sank in the middle causing my husband and I to be uncomfortable all night. The sheets were so ridiculously old and piled.

We loved the condo! So comfy and beach accessible! It was so clean and well maintained. The only thing missing was the ice machine.

Nothing very wrong with this place that I've experienced. The queen bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and they provided beach towels as well as beach chairs. One thing that stood out was the towels didn't really smell that good. Otherwise pretty enjoyable. Would recommend.

I think this was the perfect Florida Motel/Hotel to stay at. Full kitchen, dining area, living, and right across Clearwater. The hosts have been great, and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend. Do not know why the many negative reviews : (

Our stay here was better than I had expected. It was like a home away from home. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, right down to even providing umbrellas and sand toys for the beach! We will definitely be back!

This place was fabulous. Units are clean, very comfortable and convenient to all of Clearwater Beach. The ABSOLUTE best part of these accommodations are the managers. They are kind, compassionate and truly care that your stay is perfect. Great place for families; units include full kitchen, free onsite laundry and pool and beach toys for all ages. We will be going back. Thank you for your hospitality.

Nice quiet location, withing walking distance to many restaurants and nightlife. The hotel itself is decent my only issue was parking. We could only get one parking pass per room, and there were 9 of us so of course we had multiple cars. So the other person had to pay for parking every 5 hrs from 8-6. Overall the hotel was okay, I would stay again if I only have one car.

This place is great… clean and the service is fantastic… greatly enjoyed the pool. Close to the beach and just an overall quaint beautiful place.

Great choice! Excellent location and great management. Parking is hit or miss (free meters, but hard to find when beach busy). Nice big condos, great value, will definitely stay here again.

Pros: excellent location across the street from the quieter north beach. Mostly clean room although service was lacking. Bed not especially comfortable and room very hot due to air con too hot to leave on overnight. Only good for a very short stay.

For the price and location to the beach you can't beat this place. Pool is open late and you can borrow the hotels beach chairs for the beach. Rooms were very clean and had a nice stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back.

We were just out on a drive from I'm when we decided to stay in Clearwater Beach. Found this little Art Nuveau style motel. The room was actually a fully appointed 1 bedroom apartment. It was very charming, well furnished and sparkling clean. Separate towels for pool (blue) and bath (white). Perfect for a longer stay or a little getaway. Great location. Couldn't be more pleased.

Reminds me of how Florida looked when I was a kid.

This place was clean, didn't smell like mildew, and was in a great location.

This place is perfect if you want a quaint little condo with personal service. Everything from the moment of booking to our check in and check out was great. I want to thank Cathy, Sue, and Larry for making my wife and I stay such a great experience. 1/2 block to the beach and a short walk to town. Close to great restaurants and stores. The only drawback was the beds are old. I'd say at least 25 years old, but that doesn't affect my star rating as it wasn't a huge deal with my wife and I. The week went by way too fast. We're going to book two rooms this coming fall to bring our four kids down to experience the wonderful gem in Clearwater. Thanks Royal North Beach. Btw, it would take a book to write all the good about this place.

A cut above the rest! Different experience to the big hotels but if you like your own space and don't like the corporate feel of chain hotels, you will love Royal North Beach.
